- These sources are not academic in the full sense of the word. They are published in the collections of articles everybody can submit for a a small amount of money, their only author is a local schoolteacher, not an expert in art (this was the main reason for deletion in Russian wikipedia). - The fact that someone's pictures are available in the Web at different obscure websites does not make their authors notable, neither does being mentioned in nobody knows whose blogs. No exhibtions in any known galleries, no works in museums, no art criticism in any known editions, no catalogues, no prizes, no place in professional art community, zero level of notability. Here's my third point, he is the ambassador to Mozambique, the highest office of any diplomat in office. Would you delete the ambassador of the United States of Mozambique for that reason? Some transliteration schemes include diacritics, some don't. Unfortunately, there is no one universal scheme and there have been many changes over the decades, so if we want people to get successfully redirected to our article no matter what variant they find in their texts we have to cover them all. There are thousands of active languages in the world, so we will have to put a limit somewhere. The redirects that an English speaker might find useful are the ones they can likely experience in English-language literature, this includes Cyrillics and various transliterations into English. Keep. These are all spellings of the name actually used in various foreign-language publications of the author now or at some point in the past. Without them, people using foreign-language editions of these books will have almost no chance to find our article about the author. That's what redirects are used for per WP:REDIR. If we delete them we gain nothing, but only make it more difficult or next to impossible for our readers to use Wikipedia successfully for their purposes, in particular in case of names originating in foreign languages. --Matthiaspaul (talk) 03:15, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
This Wikipedia is written for English speakers. For them, these redirects are very obscure synonyms and therefore don't need to exist. If lots of English speakers read the Chinese version of the subject's work (or are familiar enough with it to search for his name in that language), a redirect from his name is Chinese would be appropriate but this has not been demonstrated. Shouldn't those people using foreign-language editions of the books be using... I dunno... the foreign-language versions of Wikipedia? If the Japanese, Chinese, and Russian versions of the wiki don't have information on Konstantin, the answer isn't to put a foreign-language redirect on the English wiki-- it's to translate the English wiki's page to the target language, and put it on the foreign-language version of the site. Delete Without clearly defined criteria for what "important" means, this article is as OR as it gets. The three criteria listed are subjective and (more damningly) unsourced. Only reference 11 approaches a treatment of this subject as a whole, and it's based on an informal survey conducted by somebody at Penn who made the results into a personal webpage. That's pretty weak. Other sources are all primary and don't discuss the topic of the list as a group, so this is a failure of WP:NLIST and grossly OR. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 02:54, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

Contested proposed deletion. PROD reasoning was "Appears to fail to have been the subject of significant coverage in independent reliable sources." It was removed with the edit sumarry " sources exist, see talk". Those sources seem fine for verification, but they do nothing to establish notability. Delete - Article fails WP:GNG and WP:NSOFT/WP:PRODUCT. I couldn't find independent reliable sources that would show notability which includes the sources on the article itself and the talk page. I didn't check each author for each paper, but there are four references on the article's talk page, and three of them are non-independent even without considering the reliability of the publishers: Giorgio Metta of the Sage reference is scientific director of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (the same Metta, G. as in the article's references) and Lorenzo Natale of the 2016 Springer reference is a tenured senior scientist at the same institution, which is an institution that develops the program and owns the copyright for some of the material in the program. One of the authors of the 2014 Springer reference is Silvio Traversaro, who is one of the primary maintainers of the program's GitHub. The fourth reference is the Frontiers reference which appears to be independent, though confidence in the publisher isn't high due to considerations like the WikiProject Academic Journals assessment and an RSN disucssion (as well as non-robotics discussions including Public Health, Neurology, Genetics). Keep There are plenty of reliable sources and qualifies for WP:GNG. It have both WP: PRIMARY and WP: SECONDARY sources mentioned as references. It also has historical importance as it is first and only Ayurvedic College in North East India region. -AjayDas (talk) 08:30, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

I was also not in favor to delete it. But I couldn't find sufficient references to establish the WP:GNG. If you can demonstrate the notability with sourcing, please do it. Otherwise, just a! vote and " it is first and only Ayurvedic College in North East India region." is not helping it anyhow.

I think CS2 should point to either Counter-Strike 2 or CS2 (disambiguation), rather than Carbon disulfide (CS₂)

Googling "CS2" overwhelmingly shows Counter-Strike 2, and the names have been used interchangeably by most who are familiar with the game, including the developers.[4]

Move disambiguation page to the base title. I don't see a clear primary topic and redirecting this to the disambiguation page would result is a WP:MALPLACED page.
