Adding a new AfD discussion

Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:

Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Tamil Nadu|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.

Note that there are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.

Removing a closed AfD discussion

Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.

Other types of discussions

You can also add and remove links to other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Tamil Nadu.

Wikilover3509 (talk · contribs) attempted to start a second nomination for this article, but wound up adding it on to the the first nomination. Their rationale follows:

Fails to meet WP:GNG. Even the website of the promoter Zircon International which is included as an external link draws a blank.

This article did survive that prior AfD from 2010 (and a contested PROD before that), but both of the "keeps" from then warned that the article needed to be significantly improved to avoid renomination. It has since been tagged as a potential WP:CORP failure—which might be the more relevant guideline here—since 2019. All that being said, my involvement is mainly procedural and I have no real opinion or further comment at this time. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 16:11, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Samadhi of Bodhendra Saraswathi[edit]

The tomb lacks wide coverage in RS. Most of the text is covered in Bodhendra Saraswathi, whose tomb the subject is. The article has little information on the architecture of the tomb, but rather concentrates more on Bodhendra and his death Redtigerxyz ^Talk 15:59, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Delete . One source that is poor and fails verification. Page fails WP:GNG. I would not even consider to Direct the page to Bodhendra Saraswathi as that too is poorly sourced and should be nominated for deletion. RangersRus (talk) 12:54, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
