Any trope about actively deciding "screw this" for whatever reason. Most likely, because you have something that can be used to get past the "this" in question. Which tends to be the rules. Most of these trope names are or were based on LittleKuriboh's legendary Screw the rules, I have money! in the first episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series.

The "Screw X, I Have/I'm Y" list:
- Screw Destiny: A character decides that they won't let fate define them and follows their own path.
- Screw Learning, I Have Phlebotinum!: A character doesn't amass knowledge and logic through reading, critical thinking, and otherwise engaging with material when there's an easier way.
- Screw Politeness, I'm a Senior!: An elderly character uses the excuse that being a senior citizen means they can be rude to everyone.
- Screw the Money, I Have Rules!: A character refuses to accept a bribe for moral reasons.
- Screw the Money, This Is Personal!: Someone refuses to be bought off because they'd rather get their revenge.
- Screw the Rules, I Have Connections!: Person avoids punishment for their misdeeds because they're friends with those who have the authority to punish them.
- Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: Getting away with your crimes by bribing people.
- Screw the Rules, I Have Supernatural Powers!: A character uses their powers to get away with breaking the law.
- Screw the Rules, I Make Them!: An authority figure believes that they're above the law simply because they're in charge.
- Screw the Rules, I'm Beautiful!: A character's good looks enables them to get away with their actions.
- Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Someone deliberately defies the rules because they're in a situation where the right thing to do can only be done by breaking the rules.
- Screw the Rules, I'm Famous!: A celebrity believes their fame means they can get away with anything.
- Screw the Rules, It's the Apocalypse!: Everyone believes that the world ending means that laws and rules don't matter anymore and they can now do whatever the hell they want without fear of repercussions.
- Screw the Rules, They Broke Them First!: One team decides it's okay for them to break the rules if the other team has already done so.
- Screw the Rules, They're Not Real!: A character breaks the rules because there is no logical reason to follow them and breaking them grants a clear advantage.
- Screw the War, We're Partying: Characters have fun despite war and the threats to personal safety and resource constraints that go with it.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Character decides to leave so they don't have to get involved with the current situation.
