News1 (Thai TV channel)[edit]

Does not meet WP:GNG. The sole cited source does not appear to actually mention News1 (นิวส์วัน) or its former name 11News1. Comment: The station/network is notable under its previous name ASTV, the right-wing ultra-partisan channel that fuelled the 2000s' anti-Thaksin protests. See this paper for example. However, the article is an unattributed, confusing rough translation of the Thai Wikipedia article about the station's flagship channel, one out of the five channels it used to operate. There should definitely be an ASTV (Thailand) article, which should also cover its current operations as News1, but I'm not sure it'd be a good idea to convert this article for that purpose, seeing as it's barely comprehensible in its current state. --Paul_012 (talk) 05:49, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Golf Course News International[edit]

Looking through the sources, I'm not finding any evidence of WP:SUSTAINED coverage of this apparently defunct publication. Basically all of the coverage of the publication revolves around its disastrous raunchy 2006 rebrand. The only mainstream source I can find covering the publication in any detail is an article in the Independent from 2006 covering the rebrand, along with a very brief article in Press Gazette covering a hiring decision the same year, with other coverage of the rebrand in the niche Golf Business News also in 2006. There's also a 2006 public statement by ex publication head Trevor Ledger in Pitchcare regarding the rebrand. Either way, even if these niche golf sources counted, it still wouldn't pass WP:SUSTAINED due to all the sources being from 2006. Hemiauchenia (talk) 20:16, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Command information newspaper[edit]

This really exists (type of internal publication within the US military), but it is questionable if it is notable. While various reliable sources mention it in passing (while discussing something said in some particular issue of one of these), I can't find any significant coverage of the concept in itself. Wikipedia is not a repository of all the internal minutiae of how the US military (or any other military in the world) works. Currently, there is no Wiktionary entry for "command information newspaper". Of course, you (or anybody else) could always create one. However, that Wiktionary entry might then be subject to Wiktionary's own review processes to determine whether its inclusion is appropriate. I think it is a bit problematic creating a soft redirect to a Wiktionary entry which doesn't currently exist, and I don't know whether under Wiktionary's own inclusion criteria it would accepted. (My undereducated guess is they probably would decide to keep, but I don't think we should presume that here.) SomethingForDeletion (talk) 09:39, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Comment on the last Afd

The suggested reference in the old AfD is from GMA's news network.
The suggested essay WP:TVSHOW that is used to argue for keep is well, an essay. It's better to follow WP:GNG and cite a reliable sources to support its notability.
