Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

I am highly confident that the two puppets named here are linked to each other, noting the closeness of their account creations, similar levels of editing activity, and on the basis of tag-team editing on various Indian film articles, such as Pyar Ke Do Naam and Two Zero One Four. Even on articles where they don't overlap, their styles match: for instance, compare their joint work at Two Zero One Four to Kitelobo's work at Kooki (film)--in both cases, the socks edit carelessly and in a promotional fashion; in the case of Two Zero One Four, they ignore that we've sailed past the stated projected release date of March 2024 (and that we still haven't actually had a reliable source confirming that principal photography has actually commenced--in the case of Kooki, Kitelobo ignores that there are actually abundant high-quality reviews that establish the subject's notability (and that it has already had a limited release at a film festival last year), likely because these reviews are mixed-to-negative. The connection to Maheshworld is a bit more tenuous and is based on their overlap at Shravan Tiwari, as well as the fact that these editors' behavior clearly makes them out to be sockpuppets of a farm. I've already blocked Globalaltair because their individual edits at the aforementioned articles as well as at Razakar (film) are clearly promotional (compare the state of that article now to when Globalaltair was done with their first draft). Note that at Razakar (film) there is also overlap with other sockpuppet networks, including socks from Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Fostera12, Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Souniel Yadav, and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Nenetarun. Not clear whether this is a coincidence or a sign of one big network. signed, Rosguill talk 15:44, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Girth Summit, I'm confident on the basis of their editing records, I was mostly hoping that the CU would shed light on who else they are connected to. signed, Rosguill talk 13:15, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Rosguill, I've taken a look, but based on the technical data I can't say anything stronger than  Possible - there is a small amount of overlap between the two accounts you've listed, and going off of the CU logs I also see some overlap between Globalaltair and Maheshworld, but we're talking about some wide, busy ranges here. It's not the sort of technical connection that I would rely upon to push the block button, but if you are convinced on the basis of the behavioural evaluation then use your discretion. • Doesn't sound like there's much more we can say here. Closing. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 00:25, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
