Axjuo and MPLS SUD JIT both started editing Wikipedia in May 2023, went on break starting in June, and each came back to editing in December 2023. The only pages in userspace that both editors have edited, are each other's sandboxes: xtools1, xtools2. They share the same topic area of cricketers, and at high frequency edit the same articles (counted from the EIA tool). Indeed, despite having less than 2k edits each, they've already edited ~250 of the same articles. This doesn't take into account pages where both users have 10+ edits a piece on the same article, of which there's ~25 instances, or 10% of these (counted from the EIA tool). Now, similar articles might not be too uncanny on its own, even if it was a... peculiar split of 50% for who edited page first (i.e. not just User A following User B around). They also both !voted keep within hours of each other on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shabana Latif (2nd nomination), which happened to be each's only AfD vote ever, per xtools3, xtools4. But not even that pales in comparison to both passing Talk:William O'Rourke (cricketer)/GA1 within minutes using the same response, especially given that Axjuo initiated the GA assessment, while MPLS was the first to complete it, neither commenting on the matter, per GA page hist. - Diffs of note on the GA page, explaining the only discrepancy between the two user's comments. Originally, MPLS left the response of Especially "Personal life", "Playing style" section description is fine.", at 19:35 here: [1]. They proceeded to pass the article, at 20:01 here: [2]. Lastly, they remove their original comment (the only comment that's actually about the article), and bring in the GA criteria list, at 20:07 here: [3]. At this point, the comment about the personal life and playing style is gone... for a few minutes that is, because Axjuo brings it back at 20:13 and leaves their own review here: [4], consisting of otherwise the exact same contents, and disguising MPLS's sentence as their own, and inline with the rest of their approval chunk. This is why Axjuo's response has an extra sentence compared to MPLS's; it's not even their own. Utopes (talk / cont) 02:48, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
