Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

This user is most likely the same as this IP (Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Edit_warring#User:185.104.63.112_reported_by_User:Smasongarrison_(Result:_Blocked)) . Mason (talk) 14:26, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I apologize if this is the wrong venue for someone circumventing a ban with a proxy. Mason (talk) 14:27, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Mason: See also WP:LTA/HKGW. I was sympathetic to the editing interests of some IP edits falling under this behaviour pattern, but I have lost patience for those who entirely refuse to take part in dispute resolution. Occasionally a good-faith newbie falls into this category of behaviour; inviting them to create an account usually helps to distinguish between a good-faith editor and the stubborn HKGW(s). I would start by erring on the side of caution and offering account creation and/or dispute resolution; if they refuse to comply, block as LTA. Deryck C. 13:38, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
