VirtualApplesauce is not a commercial site. It is a personal domain that just so happens to be my internet nickname...that's why I chose it. However the person that originally blocked me said that because I put a link to my website on my personal page that I was blatantly advertising. I explained that it was a test post that I thought no one would ever see, there is no content at the website to advertise and that the post would have been removed, I realize I should have used the sandbox for my test, they then removed the block but they then said that the username had to be changed because it is a domain name which is forbidden in the Wiki username policy. I've been battling this for over a week and am really confused as to how exactly I can get this situation resolved. Comment: this is interesting. The username isn't inherently promotional, but the name could imply authority if the user were to edit articles or become involved in discussions of articles related to money/commerce/business and such.
