Loop: Loop, a Boston based startup claim to have found a solution to the NFC (not there) problem with a new MST technology. On 8th October 2013, Loop announced the introduction of a new payment enabling technology. It offers a multiple enabling tech mPOS and also a mobile wallet. Biggest strength is acceptability across a large number of retailers. It consists of a smartphone app using magnetic field technology to enable customers to make payments in-store. Loop is led by mobile commerce pioneer Will Graylin and George Wallner. 2. Roam Data (a white label solution): ROAM Data (acquired by Ingenico), an mPoS company from Boston, MA. Established in 2005, ROAM Data claims to provide end-to-end solutions, covering the entire spectrum of mobile payments requirements. ROAM was co-founded by Michael Arner and John Rodley. ROAM is currently headed by Ken Paul, CEO of ROAM. ROAM’s offerings include Hardware, Applications and Tools that support mobile payments. GoPogo App: Leo Rocco, the founder & CEO of GoPago got this idea in 2007, ‘GoPago’ was established in 2009 and claims to transform the way merchants and consumers connect and transact. GoPago’s offerings include mPOS, mobile store, front app and a cloud based PoS software called GoPago Live. Their mPOS service includes offering merchants a credit card reader, smartphone and a protective rugged case. GoPago Live is a cloud based point of sale software for merchants offered to them at a subscription fee of $99/month. 6. I Love Velvet: The mobile payment solution that powers places like Nespresso cafe has been developed by ‘I Love Velvet’, one of the leading provider of Mobile Point of Sale solutions. I Love Velvet was founded in 2010 by three former SAP, Oracle and Enterprise retail executives. The company is currently headed by Patrick Bouaziz who is also the CEO of the company. 7. Tabbedout (software play): Tabbedout is a mobile payment app that claims to allow users to pay their bills at a bar or a restaurant through their smartphone. Its specific to hospitality industry and is a POS integrated mobile payment solution. Tabbedout was co-founded in 2009 by Rick Orr (CEO) and David Lemley (CTO). The Texas based company has acquired a total of $13.5 Mn in funding till date. Tabbedout recently (3rd October, 2013) acquired $7.75 Mn in Venture Capital funding from Morgan Creek Capital, NEA and Heartland Payment Systems. 8. Swipely (software and analytics play): Swipely, a Rhode Island company, was founded in 2009 by Angus Davis. They received $1 Mn, Angel funding in 2009. In 2010 Swipely acquired $7.5 Mn through investors such as Index Ventures, Greylock Partners, First Round Capital, Charles Moldow, Emil Michael, Angus Davis etc. (total 11 investors). In series Swipely claims to be an easier way for local merchants to accept payments, understand customers and grow revenue with valuable analytics, loyalty and marketing tools. 9. Adyen from Europe: Adyen a Holland based e-commerce based company plans to extend its Shuttle service targeting the mPOS market in Europe by launching in 3 countries (Norway, Switzerland and Denmark). Shuttle found in late 2012 competes with established companies like Payleven, iZettle and SumUp in the mPOS space. In what is thought to be the biggest case of its kind so far, police detained Maurice Asola Fadola, 31, who is thought to be behind a series of "romance frauds" – targeting women through dating sites, and fabricating an elaborate series of stories to convince them to send money to Ghana. The British victim, who did not want to be named, struck up a relationship over the internet with a man she believed to be an American soldier serving in Iraq. After several months of correspondance, in which he told of his life dodging bullets and bombs, he told her that he was leaving the army – and perhaps they could meet up. But while his luggage was being returned to the US, there were a series of "problems" which the British woman was enticed into helping out – to the eventual cost of £271,000. The head of the Ghanaian Serious Fraud Office described Mr Fadola as a suspected "kingpin", and his arrest after months of painstaking intelligence gathering is the high point of a joint Ghanaian-British campaign against alleged romance frauds. Last month officers from the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) travelled to the Ghanaian capital of Accra to work alongside Ghanaian police in arresting Mr Fadola. Officers had planned to mount a "sting" operation; setting traps for when he came to collect money they had sent to a money transfer service, or lying in wait for him to pick up a parcel of laptops or mobile phones from the Post Office. Police froze his bank accounts, and when he came into the Serious Fraud Office in Accra to try and brazen his way into releasing the funds, he was arrested. Mr Fadola, who lived in a luxurious mansion on the outskirts of Accra, is being held in custody and questioned over money laundering and passport offences, which carry a maximum sentence of 25 years. Colin Woodcock, head of SOCA's fraud department, said that his team was working alongside Ghanaian authorities, sharing policing techniques with local forces to track down the fraudsters. "At first we thought it was just people sending £50 here or there," he said, "but although the bulk are small frauds, now we know that some people are being robbed of hundreds of thousands. "It's an international problem, involving police forces from across the globe working together to squeeze the criminals." More and more cases of romance fraud are being discovered. In August last year Philip Hunt, 58, threw himself under a train after losing £82,000 in a romance fraud. He had met a Nigerian girl on the internet, who convinced him to spend the money with promises of starting a life together. "These people are out to get people when they are very vulnerable and at a low ebb. They're in there like vultures," Lesley Smith, Mr Hunt's former partner, told the inquest into his death. Mr Woodcock said: "The bottom line is: don't give anyone your money. Imagine you'd met someone in a pub for the first time, and they said I'd love to see you again but can you buy me a laptop? "We're seeing an explosion in this. Everyone is on online dating nowadays, and criminals have cottoned onto it. These people destroy lives. It's loss on a catastrophic scale." Declined. “Fear cuts deeper than swords.” The tiger story... Mr Fuda Hussain Durrany,was an Indian. he lived in Madhya Pradesh in a village known as Mandleshwar. Once he was working in his field as usual. Suddenly he encountered some movement in nearby bushes......once...twice...he just ignored, but that was something mysterious that he glimpsed. He thought that someone is watching him. This time something pierced the stillness. This part of field was particularly a cropland with thick crops. But nothing happened. When he came, he narrated the incident to others. About a fortnight later, one evening, suddenly he became aware of a different sound. Before he could knew it, someone attacked on his back with a roaring voice. It was a massive TIGER! who had hung on his back. Mr Fida Hussain Durrany was however a brave and well build man, he was unable to fight with the tiger alone. Throwing the tiger from his back, he removed his peice of cloth (balaclava, which he usually wears on head, he punched in the tiger's mouth. Due to suffocation, tiger somehow took a couple of step backwords. Handling the situation, Durrany shouted for help from the villagers. Within short time, people arrived. From 2009 to the beging of 2012 he writen the songs "Honestly" and "I Miss Miss You Like Krayzie" that was about pass realtionships he had been involed with, in 2012 he recorded the tracks and released it, in November of that year he'd uploaded the tracks on youtube then a couple days later sent it to an DJ up in New Zealand that gose by DJ Regz that works for an radiostation called 106.5 Rep Fm the songs becamed very pouplar on the internet radio scene, he'd drop a few mixtapes and a instrumental one on datpiff and tweetmymixtape featuring thosse three songs. By the end of 2012 he got signed to an underground record label in Saint Louis called "Sho Me Rercords" when him an underground rapper Young K 314 start sharing music on facebook and souncloud and both liked each other material and hooked him up. As of 2013 he's has been on the Reverbnation Chart for Spoken Word in Hampton, VA as number one and other various charts on there website,and he's currently working on his upcoming mixtape entitled "Honestly" and other projects for the near future. USA Climate The climate in USA varies across different parts of the country. Generally, the western and southern parts of US have warmer weather as compared to the eastern and northern parts. The eastern/northern parts of US experience harsh winters with heavy snowfall but the summers are pleasant. The western/southern part has extremely hot summers and comparatively tolerable winters. USA can be divided into six climate regions, excluding Alaska, Hawaii and outlying territories. Northwest Pacific: (Includes states like Oregon and Washington to the crest of the Cascade Mountains) This is the perhaps the wettest part of the country. You can see fogs along the coast during the warmer weather but the fog is less dense during mid-day. Warm clothes: You will need extra warm clothes for winters like leather jackets, thermal jackets, warm inners, leather gloves etc. 2. Mid/South Pacific Rockies: (Includes states like California, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Nevada) These states have generally dry and delightful summers. California has excellent weather all the year round, with the northern part of the state somewhat cooler (quiet chilly in the winter but seldom freezing). There are very few places in California that experience snow, and the state is known for its nice weather. Mostly all the cities have tolerable winters. The winter months in the other states like Montana, Idaho and Wyoming can be very cold, with temperatures dropping well below 0 degree F. Colorado, Utah and Nevada are known for their excellent skiing. Warm clothes: For California you will need warm clothes for winters. In specific, the study attempted to answer the following questions: (1) does moral judgment differ due to the differences in giftedness and grade levels? (2) Is it possible to efficiently predict the moral judgment levels for female students through non verbal intelligence, creativity, and achievement? A random sample of (232) female students has been randomly selected as of (115) from 11th grade and (117) from 8th grade. This was selected from ten schools of the capital district of Kuwait. The moral judgment test, Raven’s progressive Matrices, Torrance Creative thinking test (verbal form), and the student’s general average were utilized to answer the research questions. The results revealed that there are statistical significance differences in moral judgment according to the main effects of giftedness and grade level. Introduction Moral education is becoming an increasingly dominant topic in the fields of psychology and education. Media reports of increased violent juvenile crime, teen pregnancy, and suicide have caused many to declare a moral crisis around the world. While not all of these social concerns are moral in nature, and most have complex origins, there is a growing trend towards linking the solutions to these and related social problems to the teaching of moral and social values in our public schools. However, considerations of the role schools can and should play in the moral development of youth are themselves the subject of controversy. Fortunately, systematic research on moral development has been going on for most of the 20th century, and educators wishing to attend to issues of moral development and education may make use of what has been learned through that work. One of the major contributors to the domain of moral judgment has been Lawrence Kohlberg. Kohlberg developed a theory of moral development comprised of three stages: Pre-conventional, conventional, and post-conventional. In his first stage, it is argued that moral reasoning is internally non-existent; the actions of the subject, typically a child in this stage, are thought to be controlled solely through punishments and rewards. Later, in the conventional stage, Kohlberg believes that the subject, typically an adolescent, begins to develop moral standards on which he uses to judge his acts, but those standards are not his own; subjects in this stage take the standards of others who are around them, and, perhaps, those whom they admire. In the third stage, post-conventionalism, Kohlberg argues that the subject has fully adapted a set of abstract principles for himself, concepts of justice, equality, and fairness, by which he can judge what, is and is not morally good. Another researcher, Turiel (1983), came up with seven different stages of moral maturation which he believed people progressed through from the ages of 6 to 25. Turiel's seven-stage theory resulted from research that was much more defined than Kohlberg's. Turiel studied, longitudinally, a group of 60 students of various ages as they progressed through 1-3 years of schooling. He found that a significant amount (52%) progressed through the stages he defined as they aged. Both Kohlberg's and Turiel's stage theories apply very well to a large number of people; the problem is that all of those people are of the same culture. Many moral education programs in schools are based on Kohlberg's theory, consisting of group discussion of moral dilemmas. These debates or discussions create cognitive conflict when a participant is faced with someone's responses, which may be in a higher stage than his/her own. This usually increases level of moral judgment. Kohlberg started involving whole schools, including any teachers, students, or faculty that wanted to participate, in discussing real-life moral dilemmas of the participants' school situation, a technique referred to as just community, which has been proven very valuable (Power, Higgins, and Kohlberg 1989). Kohlberg claims that there is a core of moral values that are universal, in other words, the sequence of stages is invariant, and the same for every person of each culture. As a result, certain moral values, such as the respect for human life, and not causing harm to others, are upheld in all cultures. Lawrence Kohlberg (1958) based his theories on Piaget's ideas. Unlike Piaget, however, Kohlberg presents a more precise conceptualization and discrimination of the stages, and the dimension of heteronomy-autonomy that underlie the stages. His method allows for quantified scores of judgment of moral judgment. The six stages proposed by Kohlberg are subsumed in three levels: pre conventional (stages one and two), conventional (stages three and four), and post conventional (stages five and six). The pre conventional level is characteristic of younger children, some adolescents, and many criminals. There is not yet any sense of real morality, or any internalization of values. The conventional level is typical of the majority of adolescents and adults in U.S. society, and probably all Western societies and even non-Western societies as well (Snarey 1985). At the post conventional level individuals have come to question the morality of the status quo and are able to change laws and cultural rules. Approximately 5 percent of adults reach the post conventional level, usually after age twenty or twenty-five. At stage one, the orientation is toward punishment and obedience; at stage two, morality is geared toward pleasure and satisfaction of one's own needs; at stage three, morality centers on pleasing others and fulfilling conventional roles; at stage four, the emphasis is on law and order; at stage five, the person tries to change unfair laws through democratic channels; and at stage six individual conscience prevails. John Snarey's (1985) review of the literature supports this notion. He analyzed more that forty studies conducted in twenty-seven different cultures, which support Kohlberg's claim for universality, although the higher stages (five and six) did not appear in all cultures. However, Richard Shweder and Haidat (1991) argue for the role of culture, based on their research in India (Shweder, Mahapatra, and Miller 1990): They did not find distinctions between conventional and moral transgressions. Contrary to this relativistic view of morality, some neo-Kohlbergians, such as Larry Nucci (1981), distinguish between moral and conventional domains, and present evidence that even preschool children distinguish between the severities of transgressions of each domain. The main purpose of the current study is to identify the differences in moral Judgment levels among female students according to their giftedness and grade levels. In specific, the study attempted to answer the following questions: Does moral judgment differ due to the differences in giftedness and grade levels? And is it possible to efficiently predict the moral judgment for gifted and average female students through non verbal intelligence, creativity, and achievement? Study Tools Three research instruments were utilized in the study: The Kohlberg moral judgment test, Raven’s Progressive Matrices test, and Torrance Creative thinking test (verbal form). Study Sample The study sample consisted of 232 female students (117 and 115) from 8th and 11th grades respectively. They were randomly selected from all public schools in the educational directorate of the Kuwait capital city. For the specific purpose of the current study, the students were classified into: (1) gifted (who scores 90% and above on Raven Matrices test and within the third quartile on Torrance creativity test) and (2) average (who scores 70% and below on Raven and below the second quartile on Torrance test). This ended with 73 gifted and 159 averages as shown in table no (1): Table (1): Distribution of sample subjects by giftedness and grade level Grade gifted average total 8th 26 91 117 11th 47 68 115 total 73 159 232 It is clear to say that twenty two and forty one percent of the 8th and 11th graders respectively were considered gifted. Results and discussion To know the level of moral judgment of each individual of the study sample, a cross tabulation of grade level, degree of giftedness, and level of moral judgment (pre conventional, conventional, post conventional) has been created as shown in table 2. In addition, twelve percent of the 8th grade and forty percent of the gifted from 11th grade were classified in the post-conventional level. As Schweder (1961) points out, in Western society, people tend to become more conventional and pluralistic in their judgments with age. To investigate whether moral judgment changes by giftedness and grade, means of the study sample students on moral judgment from both grades and the level of giftedness were calculated as shown in table (3). R Squared = .146 (Adjusted R Squared = .135) Based on the data in tables 3 and 4, it could be said that moral judgment differs by grade level (which is age) in favor of the older students regardless their level of giftedness. Also it was found that the moral judgment is changing by grade level of giftedness in favor of the gifted students. To answer the second research question, a multiple linear regression has been utilized. Moral judgment was the criterion. Where, the achievement, non-verbal IQ (Raven's), and the creativity level (the total score on Torrance test) were the predictors. The results have been displayed as in table (5). This result seems logically accepted since the answers and comments on the moral judgment exercises require creative thinking. Moral judgment is one of many aspects of social maturity. Cognitive development research in morality has focused primarily on this aspect of moral development. Conclusion Because young children are emerging moral thinkers constrained by their cognitive characteristics, the early childhood curriculum should provide opportunities for children to deal with moral issues and think about right and wrong in developmentally appropriate ways. Preschool teachers can promote children’s moral development by dealing with issues of fairness, justice, human rights, and caring. In addition, the teacher who understands normal moral development will be aware of the reasons young children sometimes appear to be selfish and will recognize opportunities to promote the development of moral thinking in ways that match the child’s cognitive level of functioning. The study recommends doing a research on males as well to investigate the differences between males and females' morality judgment. Since women emphasize the justice of care, whereas males stress justice, which is the central concept in Kohlberg's theory. That is supported by Carol Gilligan (1982) arguments. Barrister Syed Kamrul Islam Mohommod Salehuddin (S.K.I.M. Salehuddin, commonly known as Barrister Salehuddin, (1937–1983). Salehuddin was born in Gopalgonj in 1937. His father was Syed Mohommod Abdul Halim and mother Saleha Khatun. He became a barrister, a member of the Honorable society of the Inner Temple (London); he was called to the bar from the same society in 1968. He was a Queens Counsellor (QC) in England. He was a member of the British Civil Service in England. In 1970, he was elected Pakistan National Assembly Member (MNA) from Boalmari Upozilla under Faridpur District in 1970 from Awami League. In 25 March 1971 he Uphold the Flag of Bangladesh in front of Boalmari Rest House (Dakbanglaw) in a public Meeting. After independence, Salehuddin acted as a Constituent Assembly Member (1972) and signed the First Constitution (1972) of Bangladesh. He was elected as an Independent Parliament Member (MP) at the first national election in 1973 from the Boalmari-Alfadanga-Baliakandi area under Faridpur District. He was a Parliamentarian-Constitution expert and a great politician of the country. He was a follower of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Shaikh Mujibur Rahman and Moulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani. In 1981 Salehuddin formed the Bangladesh Justice Party in 1981. Former President H.M. Earshad divided the Boalmari Upozilla and created a new Upozilla named "Modhukhali". The original home village of Barrister Salehuddin, named Bonomalidia is now situated at Modhukhali upozella. Barrister Salehuddin died in 24 May 1983, in Dhaka. Until Rabbids Do Your Part While the Rabbids are on a bench they spot a fly and they start chasing it and they start kicking each other and ends up with a Rabbid landing in a trash can the chase resumes causing them to mess up a wedding pictureand there antics causes the guy to kick one of the Rabbids in to the same trash can from before again chasing the fly they run away from the guy 3 times and a Rabbid swallows the fly and the Rabbid starts hovering in the air again bothering the guy taking the photo causes him to kick the Rabbid and 3 Rabbids hit a ball a kid was playing with later the guy starts to take a picture of the Rabbids. Rabbid Radar While a police officer is taking pictures of license plates the Rabbids are in tires and the camera takes pictures of them the Rabbids bother the officer and messes up his job which ends up with the officer destroying the camera. Comet Ison

A supercomet, orbiting 45,900 miles nearest to earth. Seen in Nov. 2013 until Sept. 2014. It's tail forms an "X" pattern, and forms a halo of gas and dust in it's coma (fuzzy atmosphere) something never seen before. Found on constellation Pavo. Orbits on a highly elliptical orbit, like the Comet Lovejoy. Discovery: Last March 1988, the Spitzer 2 spacecraft was launched to study "supercomets". While studying Comet Ison's tail, it found out it's tail was not like other comets seen before like Comet Faye, Comet Kohoutek and Comet Ikeya- Seki. It's nucleus was not melted as well as the tail, which is why it was enough to hold it's pressure. So Comet Ison was similar to Comet Lovejoy. Declined.
