    One and the same.

I've been thinking about running some blind tests on myself with piracetam any advise? It seems pretty hard to test, you kinda ran into the same stumbling block.

It's hard, yeah, because piracetam is not supposed to be that 'acute' of a drug but lots of people say it is most effective over weeks. So if you have the patience, I guess you could do the blinding in week-long blocks? You'd get enough datapoints in a couple months to say...

Still a lot of the effects are difficult to measure. Creativity for example. I've certainly felt like I've had more useful ideas etc. But i have no reliable way too measure the effect or to measure against placebo. I might try like 3 months 4 week sets of placebo or piracetam and log my thoughts and nbacking. Thoughts?

Blinded placebos, I assume. As for creativity... yes, that's very hard to measure. (There are a few tests of 'divergent thinking' where you make up little stories or list as many possible uses for something as you can think of, but they sound like they are trainable to me, so you couldn't really use them repeatedly over time.)

Interesting...It made me realize I might want to buy caffeine and Theanine powder and mix the two into the same capsules.

I've never read anything more interesting on the subject.
