Something screwy is going on here - I'll note that I'm not certain Soccerumors is the master, because I cannot remember who originally created the Nick Efthimiou article (which Nicholas Nixo is a recreation of, after a fashion), and, as a non-admin, I have no way of checking.

Anyway, what we have here are three editors with a startling degree of crossover. All three have edited the same basic articles; Nicholas Nixo and Derek Missimo. Soccerumors started the latter, and Zidaneone the former; but Soccerumors did this half an hour or so after Zidaneone started the Nixo article. In addition to this, all three editors have edited in the last 24 hours after a period of inactivity, and all three also edited back in mid/late February before lapsing into a period of inactivity. Both Zidaneone and Vodkalcohol edited Chad Ashton as well. CU requested to see if I'm right or not, and if we've got any sleepers that have been missed. Pursuant to the ongoing sockpuppet investigation, User:Soccerain just created Nicolas Nixo which is essentially a copy/paste of Nicholas Nixo created by User:Zidaneone, which, in turn as User:Lukeno94 has demonstrated, is related to User:Soccerumors --Non-Dropframe talk 02:23, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This one isn't quite as obvious as the previous ones, but there are a few hints that something is awry. Bbb23 pulled the trigger on all three accounts around midday on the 30th May - and this account appeared less than 12 hours later to edit the Futsal page - it's worth noting that the spamming was on futsal-related players. But the clincher, for me, is this 10k mega post - out of nowhere, this seemingly brand new user has magically appeared at one of the AfDs related to the blocked socks, with an argument that is really not that dissimilar in anything bar length to one of the blocked sock's.   • @NeemNarduni2: Sorry but I guess I have to pick on you again a bit. From your perspective, requesting a CU is pointless as the blocked puppets in the archives are way  Stale. However, because I'm the one who ran all the checks back then, I have technical evidence that another CheckUser wouldn't have. So, you lucked out. Todaypress (talk · contribs · count) is  Likely.
