PaulGamerBoy360 had been editing Buchanan Corner, Indiana and the related AfD when editors raised concerns about copyvio and unreliable sourcing. They were admonished at 3RR and their last edit was 10:03 9 May 2024.

Cigarettes are Safe is a brand-new account whose first edit 23:32 10 May 2024 was identical to a previous edit 8:58 9 May 2024 by PaulGamerBoy, which GamerBoy had edit-warred unto the article multiple times [1][2][3]. All in all, it looks like Cigarettes picked up where GamerBoy left off when their contributions attracted scrutiny. –dlthewave ☎ 16:07, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sir Sputnik - I've run a check. Best I can say is somewhere in the Possible territory, but definitely not leaning towards likely. They appear to be in the same very large country (I can't be more precise than that, some of the IP geolocation data is very vague), and there is nothing stronger than that connecting them technically. Could be a joe job, or it could be one person using two accounts on two different ISPs/devices - no way I could tell. Girth Summit _(blether) 19:30, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The latter explanation of one person, two devices fits with behavioural evidence, so that's my conclusion of what's going on here. A joe job seems unlikely without clear connection to one of the other sockpuppeteers known to do that sort of thing. As such, I've blocked the master account for a week and indeffed the sock.
