Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Accounts and IPs exhibit a significant overlap in the articles and appear to have an interest in various medicine-related topics, particularly those related to nurse practitioners, physician assistants, remote and wilderness medicine (including the rejected Draft:College of Remote and Offshore Medicine), and a range of topics involving emergency medicine in Scotland. The users and their edits share a similar POV and have at least once responded to each other on an article talkpage (see Talk:Doctor of Nursing Practice#New Controversy Section). Additionally, these accounts and IPs will often edit within days or, as in the case of the Rick Santorum article, even minutes of each other. Imaginarium Monkey has not edited since 2022, but there were times when this user was overlapping with TheMouseMen and IP accounts. Wikipedialuva (talk) 00:07, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An example of suspicious diffs is Imaginarium Monkey's and TheMouseMen's edits to the Rick Santorum article on 21 January 2022. At 18:15, Imaginarium Monkey edit adds very complex markup text [1]. At 18:34, TheMouseMen made their third-ever edit, which also contained very complex markup language in an extremely similar style to TheMouseMen [2]. Also, to be clear, I am not seeking a checkuser to confirm that IPs are the same as the accounts; I recognize that this is not allowed. I did, however, add the IPs to ensure the record is complete. I recently discovered the TMallinson account. In this diff [3] on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine, IP 213.226.67.38 makes a post using the IP's signature, then less than a minute later, TMallinson changes the signature to their own. In the draft article Draft:College of Remote and Offshore Medicine (which was created by TheMouseMen), TMallinson makes extensive edits, often just minutes apart from other listed accounts/IPs, often just minutes apart, as seen in this diff: [4]. Adding Tannim101. This account is the oldest out of the accounts so far, having been created in 2009. This account seems to edit many of the same articles as the other accounts and also seems to hold similar opinions and views. Additional evidence includes edits that occurred in the Emergency medical personnel in the United Kingdom article on March 27 March 2022. Tannim101 had just created a new section entitled "Consultant Paramedic Controversy" (seeming to be in line with the usual POV of other accounts) and finished their edits at 20:54. Just two minutes later, TheMouseMen makes an edit to the newly created section, turning several URLs into full references and adding a pipped wikilink (diff: [5]).
