Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Series of SPAs devoted to getting Draft:Luan Muça approved for mainspace. Previous iteration of the article was deleted at AfD in 2017. In addition to the draft, they've created numerous user sandboxes and attempted to hijack a page in project space. No obvious connection to those involved in the earlier incarnation of the article (including User:Luan Muça), and such information would likely be stale in any case. I'll leave the question of a CU check to the clerks. --Finngall talk 18:38, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]

  • CheckUser requested and endorsed by clerk - A connection to Bajramishpetim seems likely, but uncheckable. With four possibly five accounts linked to this group, the existence more seems like a distinct possibility. Please check for sleepers. Sir Sputnik (talk) 01:29, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sir Sputnik, I think there are likely two different people involved here. Klodi001 is operating out of a different location to the rest. Based on old CU data in the logs, I would say that it is entirely  Possible that they are related to Bajramishpetim - they geolocate to the same city. The other three are all bouncing around the same socky, spammy ranges as one another, which geolocate to a completely different part of the world which, and which are frequently used by a number of paid editing outfits - I don't know which one they're associated with, but I do not find it credible that they are different people who all registered accounts and showed up at an obscure draft about a businessman who lives thousands of miles away from them. I would suggest blocking Bajramishpetim as a suspected sock of Bajramishpetim, and the other three without tags - they're someone's socks, but we don't know exactly whose. • Bajramishpetim is actually the oldest of these accounts, so I've moved the case accordingly. That aside, I've blocked and tagged (or not tagged) the others as recommended. Sir Sputnik (talk) 18:52, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
