Yes. On both photos this is Bill Workman, on both looks very similar. 185.172.241.184 (talk) 18:35, 18 December 2023 (UTC)

I concur that it is the same person. The Peace Center mentioned in the description is now an active arts venue where Workman served as mayor. I don't know why I didn't find this file before uploading the one on Wikipedia. Unless anyone responds otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete the WP version (provided I have access to do so) and use the Commons one in Workman's article. —ADavidB 01:18, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

I now see the reason I didn't use this file is because it wasn't extracted from another older file until three days ago. I haven't seen any confirmation that the original uploader on Commons is the actual author of the (1980s?) photograph, though until identified otherwise will consider it free and usable. (Another file the extracting new user uploaded to Commons was identified as copyrighted, per their talk page.) I don't have access to delete Workman's image file on WP, so will leave such potential action to whoever closes this discussion. —ADavidB 07:24, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

The photograph from which the Commons file was extracted was published in the Greenville News newspaper in March 2015 and the source is only identified as "The Greenville News". I believe this strongly suggests a copyright violation with its usage on Commons. —ADavidB 08:39, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
