Please do not cite Wikipedia on Wikipedia[edit]

...as you did in this edit. Brusquedandelion (talk) 20:53, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Brusquedandelion:I apologize for not catching that during my pass through the article with AutoWikiBrowser (AWB). To be fair, that citation to French WP was already in the article before my edit. AWB just cleaned up the formatting of the ref but obviously had no rule about using WP as a citation. I always check and approve AWB's changes to articles so that's on me for not observing the problem and correcting it. Cheers, Mark Ironie (talk) 23:40, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't realize I knew you from different accounts. Cheers, Mark Ironie (talk) 00:00, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think there's been a misunderstanding; this is my only account.
I used Wikiblame to find the edit and did not look at it for long enough to notice it was there before your edit as well. Apologies. Anyways, the issue is corrected. Brusquedandelion (talk) 00:09, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for correcting the issue. I didn't mean to suggest you have other accounts now or in the past. My apologies. Your edit history seemed familiar and similar to editors I've known in the past. Sorry. Cheers, Mark Ironie (talk) 19:47, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
