A Webcomic about a Magical Girl named Lisa (read: a total Fangirl) and her Mentor Mascot Io (read: an evil 4-inch-tall alien ant), out to save the Earth (read: unknowingly help the alien ants invade it) by fighting evil alien termites in devastating Humongous (read: human-sized) Mecha battles.
Find it here. While the final two News Posts have a tone of wanting to continue the comic, other points raised about being busy/unenthused and the author's total disappearance from the webcomic community shortly afterward most likely means the series will not be continued.
At least she got an And the Adventure Continues ending of sorts in The Crossoverlord.
Mechagical Girl Lisa ANT contains examples of:
- Ascended Fangirl: Lisa is a magical-girl fan who gets recruited to be a magical girl.
- Calling Your Attacks: Lisa doesn't need any catchphrases to activate her Powered Armor, but she's so into the magical-girl genre that she makes some up. Pink Flash uses them too, to enhance her more traditional magical-girl image.
- Hero with Bad Publicity: Between her alien-ant-robot costume and Pink Flash's propaganda, Lisa's heroic alter ego ANT is perceived as an "alien monster."
- Humongous Mecha: Relatively speaking. It's a human-sized mecha built by doll-sized aliens.
- Lawyer-Friendly Cameo: Nanoha and Vita appear in episode 3, attending a free samba lesson for kids. Along with many cameos from the girls of W.I.T.C.H..
- Living with the Villain: Lisa and Paula (a.k.a Pink Flash) don't live under the same roof, but attend the same school and share a few friends.
- Shout-Out: Lisa's room is full of them, including Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki, Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura. One strip also has them studying David Bowie's 1. Outside in literature class.
- Unknown Rival: Lisa is too oblivious to realize that Pink Flash is her enemy.
