Quest Arrest is a Homebrew Role-Playing Game by The Retro Room.
The game has you play as Allison Bennett, a policewoman who was recently promoted to detective. Good thing too, because the city you work in is experiencing a serious crime wave at the hands of a criminal gang lead by the mysterious "Athena". It's up to you to engage criminals on the streets and dole out some justice.
One of the elements of the game is that its story is determined by how you deal with criminals. Remember, people don't like it when you kill perps, and it will bring your credibility down if you do so. Arresting crooks is harder, but people will treat you better if you set a good example.
The game was released on the Game Boy in 2020.
Quest Arrest contains examples of:
- Armed with Pepper Spray: One of your combat options is pepper spray.
- Press X to Not Die: Whenever you pull out the handcuffs on a weakened opponent, the process to arrest them plays out in this manner.
- Save Point: These take the form of floating diamonds.
- Three-Quarters View: The game is viewed like this.
- Turn-Based Combat: The game's combat system plays out Pokémon-style. You can taze, shoot, and pepper spray your opponents, and arrest them when their health's low enough via Quick Time Event.
