- In chapter 8, the line "I will knock you down" from Final Fantasy is said by Caulifla.
- Taura frequently calls Cabba "Cabba boy", as a nod to Maximillion Pegasus of Yu-Gi-Oh!.
- The character of Camelo makes countless references to Darkstalkers, with the setting of chapter 14 and 15 being based on the infamous Womb Level of Fetus of God.
