  • In the Discworld, there is the character of Cohen The Barbarian ("Wholesale Destruction"), who has realized, with a sense of existential gloom, that he has simply been too good at being a barbarian hero and has reached the age of eighty without being seriously troubled by any opposition. Cohen's career deliberately parodies that of Conan, right down to the realization that if he does nothing about it, he'll die peacefully in his bed.
  • The Barbarian class in Dungeons & Dragons was added because there was always someone who wanted to play as Conan.
