Original air date: 10/14/2022 (produced in 2021)
Squidward ventures to Nosferatu's castle after accidentally receiving his mail.
"Squidferatu" contains examples of:
- Bizarre Taste in Food: SpongeBob and Slappy love eating dried mummy fingers. Squidward doesn't.
- Dope Slap: Squidward gives one to SpongeBob at one point. At the same time, Nosferatu gives one to Slappy.
- Dramatic Thunder: Lightning strikes every time someone says Nosferatu's name, much to Squidward's confusion.
- Eye Scream: Squidward accidentally sprays pesticide into Norton's eyes.
- "Everybody Laughs" Ending: Squidward, SpongeBob, Nosferatu and Slappy laugh along with The Phantom of the Opera, who turned out to be flickering the lights in the ending.
- Face Palm: Squidward and Nosferatu do this when SpongeBob and Slappy won't stop laughing.
- Fun with Homophones: SpongeBob and Squidward try carving stakes to keep Nosferatu away. They end up making wooden steaks.
- Mythology Gag: Nosferatu is introduced flickering the lights, which he was doing when he was first shown in "Graveyard Shift".
- Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: Squidward spends the episode afraid of Nosferatu, thinking he'll suck his blood while he's sleeping. When Nosferatu finally catches up to him, it turns out he just wanted to give Squidward the mail that had been wrongly delivered to him.
- Real Is Brown: Once SpongeBob and Squidward enter Transylvania, the background's colors change to sepia.
- Spaghetti Kiss: Two sea urchins do this with a weed from Squidward's garden.
- Vomit Discretion Shot: Squidward vomits behind his chair when he sees the cuisine Slappy puts out.
Slappy Daze
Original air date: 10/14/2022 (produced in 2021)
Nosferatu's minion Slappy kills some time around Bikini Bottom.
"Slappy Daze" contains examples of:
- Art Shift: The backgrounds of Dr. Calamari's office are done in the style of the sets of German Expressionist films, such as The Cabinet Of Doctor Caligari.
- Aside Glance: SpongeBob does this when Slippy accidentally kisses Gary.
- Canon Foreigner: Slappy's Distaff Counterpart, Slippy, debuted in The Patrick Star Show episode "Mid-Season Finale."
- A Day in the Limelight: For Slappy.
- Deliberate Monochrome: The background color changes from sepia to black and white when Slappy takes Nosferatu to the doctor.
- Involuntary Shapeshifting: Nosferatu changes back and forth from vampire to bat whenever he sneezes.
- Look-Alike Lovers: Slappy and the pet store owner, Slippy.
- Looks Like Cesare: Dr. Calamari's assistant who briefly appears with a steam iron is based after Cesare.
- Mind-Control Eyes: Nosferatu hypnotizes Dr. Calamari to bring him blood samples. By the time Slappy returns, everyone in the doctor's office is hypnotized.
- Out of Focus: SpongeBob gets one line in this episode and only appears for a few seconds.
- Sequel: Sort of one to the previous episode. While other 15/7 minute pairs seemed to intersect with each other (like Swamp Mates / One Trick Sponge and Krusty Koncessionaires / Dream Hoppers), this one only connects to the previous using the characters from that episode, as no one mentions what happened previously.
- Who Needs Their Whole Body?: Slappy is able to function with his body parts missing, even reduced to just his head.
