In China, the twelve remaining teams must skydive into an Olympic stadium, eat deep-fried local delicacies, and race across the Great Wall.
Tropes
- Becoming Part of the Image: The Ice Dancers' parachute landing goes awry, resulting in them crashing through a billboard from behind. Jacques' head ends up right where the donkey mascot's behind is. He still has that part of the billboard around his neck during the confessional segment.
- Didn't Think This Through: Noah doesn't really think about what would happen when stuffing the food on the stick into his mouth.
- Food as Bribe: Rock uses chocolate-coated bacon bits as a means of motivating Spud to do more in the challenges.
- Foreign Queasine: One of the challenges consists in one of the elements of a team preparing a skewer for their teammate to eat, and some of the options of food include bats, scorpions, and silkworms.
- Kissing In A Tree: Owen teases Noah with this in an interview, but Noah slaps him to stop.
- Luminescent Blush: Emma does this after hearing Noah call her pretty.
- Mushroom Samba: Dwayne becomes delirious after being stung by several scorpions.
- Non Sequitur, *Thud*: Dwayne has one after scorpion stings.Junior: Are you okay?Dwayne: Of course I am Mr. President. Did you? :thud:Junior: Perfect.
- One Dialogue, Two Conversations: While Devon is sleeping on the plane, Rock asks Carrie if she's going to make a move and it gets her talking about grabbing a chance to tell Devon she loves him. Rock, however, is clearly just asking if she's going to eat his peanuts, which he lampshades.
- Pun-Based Title: The title is a play on the phrase "new beginnings".
- Shout-Out: Spud's line "I can haz Choco Oinks?" is a reference to LOLCats.
- Thinking Out Loud: Noah does this when he and Owen are helping The Sisters with their rickshaw, making it both awkward and charming for him and Emma.
- Trademark Favourite Food: Spud's is revealed to be chocolate-coated pork rinds called Choco-Oinks, and he will go to great lengths to do so much as taste them.
- Trigger Phrase: Carrie vomits every time someone who isn't her says "worms".
