- Arizona (1951) – Lucky Luke sets out in pursuit of a band of stagecoach robbers. Also included is a companion tale, “Lucky Luke vs Cigarette Caesar”, where Luke chases escaped convict and criminal Cigarette Caesar.
- Under a Western Sky (1952) – An anthology of three tales: “The Return of Joe Trigger” (Lucky Luke gets robbed and goes in pursuit of his money), “Round-up Days” (Luke sets out in search of cattle rustlers) and “The Big Fight” (Lucky Luke must intervene in a boxer friend’s fight).
- Lucky Luke vs Pat Poker (1953) – Two stories (“Cleanup in Red City” and “Tumult in Tumbleweed”) involving Lucky Luke facing off with gambler and cheat Pat Poker.
- Outlaws (1954) – Lucky Luke comes across the Dalton Gang, an outlaw family of four brothers.
- Dr Doxey’s Elixir (1955) – Lucky Luke comes across a conman doctor selling fake medicine.
- Phil Wire (1956) – Lucky Luke intervenes in a competition between two saloons, but one saloon hires the dreaded shooter Phil Wire to go against Luke. Also included is a companion tale, “Lucky Luke and Pill”, where Luke tells the tale of a meek pill-popper who became a fearsome sheriff.
- Rails on the Prairie (1957) – Lucky Luke assists in the construction of a railway, against a rival stagecoach company that wants the railway to fail.
- The Bluefeet Are Coming (1958) – Lucky Luke comes to a town that gets besieged by Indians.
- Lucky Luke vs Joss Jamon (1958) – Lucky Luke goes up against a dreaded outlaw and his gang.
- The Dalton Cousins (1958) – Lucky Luke meets Joe, Jack, William and Averell Dalton, the cousins of the Dalton Gang he met and killed in “Outlaws”.
- The Judge (1959) – Lucky Luke runs afoul of self-proclaimed judge Roy Bean.
- The Oklahoma Land Rush (1960) – Lucky Luke comes to Oklahoma to keep law and order amongst a growing town.
- The Daltons Escape (1960) – The Daltons escape to get revenge on Lucky Luke for being imprisoned in “The Dalton Cousins”.
- Steaming Up the Mississippi (1961) – Lucky Luke gets involved in a race between two rival steamboats on the Mississippi River.
- On the Daltons’ Trail (1962) – The Daltons escape again, and Lucky Luke and the idiot guard dog Rantanplan go in pursuit of them.
- In the Shadow of the Derricks (1962) – Lucky Luke comes to Pennsylvania to bring order to a town filled with oil wells.
- The Rivals of Painful Gulch (1962) – Lucky Luke intervenes in a destructive blood feud between two families, the O’Timms and the O’Haras.
- Billy the Kid (1962) – Lucky Luke takes on the legendary outlaw Billy the Kid.
- The Black Hills (1962) – Lucky Luke is hired to escort a band of scientists to Wyoming to explore that then-unknown territory.
- Daltons in the Blizzard (1962) - The Daltons escape to Canada, and Lucky Luke must go and get them back.
- The Daltons Always on the Run (1964) – The Daltons are freed from prison and get up to their shenanigans again.
- The Wagon Train (1964) – Lucky Luke is hired to escort a caravan of travelers to California.
- Ghost Town (1965) – Lucky Luke helps a miner in an abandoned mining town.
- The Daltons Redeem Themselves (1965) – The Daltons are freed from prison, but if they commit a single criminal act in 30 days they will be sent back.
- The 20th Cavalry (1965) – Lucky Luke is sent to assist a regiment of the US Cavalry with establishing a truce with Cheyenne Indians.
- The Escort (1966) – Lucky Luke is to escort Billy the Kid to New Mexico for trial. But Billy constantly tries to escape.
- Barbed Wire on the Prairie (1967) – Lucky Luke gets embroiled in a feud between farmers and cattle ranchers.
- Calamity Jane (1967) – Lucky Luke meets legendary female cowboy Calamity Jane.
- Tortillas for the Daltons (1967) – The Daltons escape to Mexico, and Lucky Luke must go and get them back.
- The Stagecoach (1968) – Lucky Luke is hired to escort a stagecoach of gold and passengers on a dangerous trip from Denver to San Francisco.
- The Tenderfoot (1968) – A British citizen arrives to settle down at his uncle’s farm in America, with the help of Lucky Luke.
- Dalton City (1969) – The Daltons get loose again and set up their own criminal city.
- Jesse James (1969) – Lucky Luke encounters outlaw Jesse James and his relatives Frank James and Cole Younger.
- Western Circus (1970) – Lucky Luke gets involved in a feud between a traveling circus and a Tyrannical Town Tycoon who considers the circus unwanted competition for his annual rodeo.
- Apache Canyon (1971) – Lucky Luke must establish a truce between an Apache tribe and an Irish US Cavalry regiment.
- Ma Dalton (1971) – The Daltons’ mother, a fearsome outlaw in her time, returns to crime to help out her sons.

- Rantanplan’s Inheritance (1973) – A millionaire leaves his inheritance to the dog Rantanplan, and if anything happens to the dog it will go to Joe Dalton. The Daltons thus escape to end Rantanplan.
- 7 Full Stories (1974) – an anthology of short stories about Lucky Luke.
- The Dashing White Cowboy (1975) – Lucky Luke investigates a theater troupe that has robberies following it.
- A Cure for the Daltons (1975) – A psychologist comes to analyze the Daltons, but ends up helping them get free and becomes their criminal ally.
- Emperor Smith (1976) – Lucky Luke runs afoul of a mentally ill cowboy who has christened himself the Emperor of the United States.
- The Singing Wire (1977) – Lucky Luke is hired to oversee the planting of a telegraph system to Salt Lake City.
- The Daltons’ Stash (1980) – The Daltons break out to look for hidden treasure.
- The One-Armed Bandit (1981) – Lucky Luke encounters the first ever slot machine made.
- Sarah Bernhardt (1982) – Lucky Luke escorts famous theatre actress Sarah Bernhardt across the West.
- The Hanged Man’s Rope (1982) – A set of stories about Lucky Luke and the Daltons.
- Daisy Town (1983) – Luke Luke comes to a brand-new town, Daisy Town, to be its sheriff. But the Daltons arrive at the town to make it their own. It adapts the 1971 animated film of the same name.
- Fingers (1983) – Lucky Luke encounters a friendly but mischievous magician who makes trouble wherever he goes.
- The Daily Star (1983) – Lucky Luke helps out an early newspaper reporter trying to start up his paper.
- Bride of Lucky Luke (1985)
- Ballad of the Daltons and Other Stories (1986) – A set of stories about the Dalton brothers. Notably adapts the 1978 film.
- The Cursed Ranch (1986) – Lucky Luke investigates a supposedly haunted ranch.
- Nitroglycerine (1987) – Lucky Luke must guard a train carrying nitroglycerine. The Daltons go after the same train, thinking it has gold.

- The Pony Express (1988) – Lucky Luke takes on the Pony Express postal delivery journey.
- The Daltons’ Amnesia (1990) – The Daltons feign losing their memory to get out of prison.
- Ghost Hunt (1992) – Calamity Jane is outraged to hear she is dead and has become a ghost. Lucky Luke helps her find out what’s going on.
- The Wedding Crashers (1993) – A Sherriff and friend of Lucky Luke is getting married, but the wedding is about to be interrupted by the Daltons, whom the Sheriff had imprisoned.
- The Bridge on the Mississippi (1994) – Lucky Luke is hired to help with construction of a bridge across the Mississippi River, against the wishes of a corrupt ferry agency.
- Kid Lucky (1995) – a tale about Lucky Luke in his childhood.
- Belle Starr (1995) – Lucky Luke and the Daltons encounter the female outlaw Belle Starr.
- The Klondike (1996) – Lucky Luke’s tenderfoot friend goes gold-prospecting and ends up missing in the Klondike, so Luke goes in search of him.
- OK Corral (1997) – Lucky Luke gets involved in the legendary OK Corral gunfight.
- Oklahoma Jim (1997) – Another tale about Lucky Luke’s childhood.
- Marcel Dalton (1998) – The Daltons meet their uncle, the law-abiding scholar Marcel Dalton.
- The Prophet (2000) – The Daltons escape with the alliance of a religious maniac.
- The Painter (2001) – Lucky Luke acts as bodyguard to an artist.

- The Beautiful Province (2004) – Lucky Luke comes to Quebec to deal with an unscrupulous land baron.
- Tying the Knot (2006) – The Daltons get out of prison (and hanging) by getting married to Native American girls. Hilarity ensues.
- The Man From Washington (2008) – Lucky Luke is hired to guard and guide presidential candidate Rutherford B Hayes.
- Lucky Luke vs the Pinkertons (2010) – Lucky Luke encounters law officer Allan Pinkerton, whose troublesome ways cause him to run afoul of the Daltons.
- Lone Riders (2012) – The Daltons have a fight and split up.
- The Dalton Uncles (2014) – The Daltons are hired to be the legal guardians of a rich brat.
- The Promised Land (2016) – Lucky Luke is asked by a friend to guide his Jewish relatives across the Wild West.
- A Cowboy in Paris (2018) – Lucky Luke is hired to come to France to guard the construction and transportation of the Statue of Liberty to the United States.
- A Cowboy in High Cotton (2020) – Lucky Luke inherits a cotton plantation in Louisiana, and must deal with black slaves (whom he treats decently) and Klansmen (whom he does not treat decently).
- Rin Tin Can's Ark (2022) – Lucky Luke encounters Ovid Byrde, an animal lover who wants people to be kinder to animals. Bryde gets manipulated and exploited by Tuco Maizal, a cunning bandit.
