Go To

Jane the Killer is a Distaff Counterpart to Jeff the Killer. A young woman named Jane Richardson who's parents where killed by Jeff. After being subjected to experiments, she swears revenge on Jeff. She is introduced in Jane's Letter and her backstory is introduced in Born of Science: Jane the Killer. The stories were written by MadamBlackWolfnote .

Not to be confused with Jane Arkansaw from Jane the Killer: The Real Story who debuted between installments, before Richardson received a surname and backstory.

Jane's Letter

  • Jack the Ripoff: The murder of a couple is originally attributed to Jeff until the police find a taunting letter from Jane promising to hunt down and kill Jeff
  • Spotting the Thread: The lingering odor of women's cheap perfume and body glitter are the first clues that the killer was not Jeff but Jane.
  • Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Jane gets close enough to a baby to get her body glitter on them, but does not harm them.

Born From Science

  • Posthumous Character: Jane is introduced after her parents are dead, but her memories of them is what helps her endure the experiments done on her.
  • Psycho Serum: Jane is injected with Liquid Hate, a serum that gives her homicidal urges and allows her to kill several larger armed men. Twenty five women like her died in the process of making the serum.
  • Shout-Out: Two reference to Breaking Bad:
    • Jane compares a customer, FBI Agent Marcus East, at the IHOP she works at to Walter White.
    • CIA Agent Margolis is a reference to Jane and her father Donald.
  • Vigilante Man: After the experiment Jane promises to kill Jeff and other murderers as well.
  • You Killed My Father: Exploited, as Jane is chosen for the Liquid Hate experiments because of her desire to kill Jeff to avenge her parents.
