The Mihmiverse is a Shared Universe made up of the movies of auteur Christopher R. Mihm. Beginning with The Monster of Phantom Lake in 2006, Mihm has averaged one movie a year, with all of his films being tributes to the low-budget B-Movie Sci-Fi Horror films of the 1950s. As such, his movies (up until 2019's Queen of Snakes) are Deliberately Monochrome and feature Large Ham acting, with much of the dialogue Punctuated! For! Emphasis!.

Tropes present across the Mhimiverse:
- Author Appeal: Mihm's movies are largely inspired by his father, George Mihm, who loved B-Movies as a kid and watched them on tape with his son years later. After his father's death, Mihm decided to start out making the sort of movies his dad would love and never stopped. Mihm's production company, All For George Productions, is named in George Mihm's honor.
- B-Movie: Mihm's films are tributes to these and emulate the same aesthetic in terms of music, plot, acting, etc.
- Creator Cameo: Christopher R. Mihm usually has one in each of his movies, even if it is only as a voice.
- Dramatic Pause: Most of the heroes will do this.
- Deliberately Monochrome: Nearly all of Mihm's movies are in black and white (or almost entirely all in black and white) to evoke the feeling of an old horror movie.
- Dull Surprise: The delivery style of those actors who are not Large Hams.
- Eccentric Townsfolk: Most of the inhabitants of the Phantom Lake area.
- Homage: Mihm's films pay tribute to the classic Sci-Fi Horror of The '50s in general, with some specific parodies along the way.
- Large Ham: Those actors who do not express everything with Dull Surprise.
- Nepotism: Mihm frequently casts his wife, children, friends and the children of his friends.
- Public Domain Soundtrack: Much like the directors he parodies, Christopher R. Mihm gets a lot of his music from stock footage.
- Running Gag: Mihm has several running gags that go into many of his movies.
- A scene of a character looking into a flashlight and turning it on and off.
- Actor James Norgard saying the line "Dear God, no!"
- Characters saying a line from Ghostbusters (1984).
