James Tynion IV (born December 14, 1987) is a Comic Book writer. He often collaborates on projects with Scott Snyder, and has been a writer for the Batman books since 2012. In 2019, he started writing his run on Batman, as well as a solo title for the Joker. He has his own comic book production studio, Tiny Onion.
Tynion initially identified as bisexual before coming out as gay in 2023.
