Giovanni Lombardo Radice (23 September 1954 - 27 April 2023), also credited as John Morghen, was an Italian film actor. He was best known for his horror film roles, having appeared in such productions as Cannibal Ferox and House on the Edge of the Park.

Partial filmography:

This actor provides examples of the following tropes:

  • Chronically Killed Actor: He often got cast as characters who died violently, most infamously with a drill to the head in City of the Living Dead.
  • Creator Backlash: He made no secret of the fact that he hated working on Cannibal Ferox and wanted absolutely nothing to do with it afterwards. For that matter he was not fond of most of his movies and admitted he was not a horror movie fan.
  • Irony as She Is Cast: Despite being typecast in horror films, he openly admitted he was never a fan of the horror genre.
  • Typecasting: He was frequently cast in horror films, often as characters who suffered a gruesome demise.
  • Wag the Director: While working on Cannibal Ferox, he refused to kill the animals himself, meaning director Umberto Lenzi had to hire a stuntman to do the killings. When Lenzi told Radice that Robert De Niro would have done the animal killings, Radice replied, "De Niro would have kicked your ass all the way back to Rome!"
