Born November 12, 1948, in Kofu under the name Takashi Tanaka, Banjo Ginga is one of the most veteran voice actors in the business. If you notice a character with his voice, chances are they'll either be Large and in Charge, or somewhat regal. His characters tend to be a combination of The Stoic and Large Ham.
May possibly be the Japanese equivalent of BRIAN BLESSED!!!!!. His North American/Canadian counterpart is Scott McNeil.
He's married to his fellow voice actress, Gara Takashima.
