  2. Thanks for your help today with the typo I found which needed editing. I did look around for some sort of edit on the page itself, and didn't see it, but will look harder next time. Photo requests[edit]

Hi! I wonder if you do photo requests for the El Paso area. I have some ideas of places that can be photographed WhisperToMe (talk) 14:26, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@WhisperToMe: Hey! I actually just moved to Kansas and haven't updated my userpage and whatnot yet, so I can't really do photos in Texas anymore. If I were still in El Paso, I'd definitely say yes. Very sorry about that! Bsoyka (talk) 14:38, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's fine! BTW if you're interested in doing photo requests in Kansas and I have a general idea of which part of the state, I can give ideas for that area too. WhisperToMe (talk) 14:39, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sure! We're still getting settled in, but I'm in the Leavenworth area. Bsoyka (talk) 14:49, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok! I checked the Leavenworth USD 453 article and I found it does not yet have an image of the district's administrative offices (200 North 4th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048). Leavenworth High School also does not yet have a photo (2012 10th Avenue, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048). When you're ready to take photos, these may be good ones to get first. The other schools don't yet have photos either, from what I see on the Commons, but I could leave the addresses now or later. WhisperToMe (talk) 20:13, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question from MertenMerten (23:01, 16 May 2024)[edit]

Hey, I found this page through suggested edits: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_NCAA_Division_I_men%27s_basketball_championship_game

I found a really simple copy edit to make, but looking at a page like that generated more questions about what kind of stuff is actually helpful. Here’s two: 1. The tag on the page says it’s reliant on 1 source, but sourcing seems much more robust. Should tag be removed? And if so, how does one do this (this is only my second edit, so I’m basically a little baby who doesn’t know very much). 2. Opening sentence is jangly: The 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship game was the title game of the 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament and it determined the national champion for the 2010-11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. But maybe that’s intentional because of all the work that sentence is doing? Like any reader, I prefer concision, so I thought about making it: The 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball championship game of the 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament determined the national champion for the 2010-11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. But would that be violating a particular kind of Wikipedia style? Thanks for thinking about my questions! --MertenMerten (talk) 23:01, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Earthsong7 (16:01, 18 May 2024)[edit]

Hello, my goal is to start a page about Geneaolgy and reference family history, so I can set up links for all my references, any ideas? --Earthsong7 (talk) 16:01, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
