Non-free images[edit]

Nat added a warning that "A non-free image must include a separate fair-use rationale for each article that it is been used in." But I would expect discussion here before such a change, so I've just reverted. If there is discussion elsewhere, please link there.

Such a warning may make sense, but it should only show up if the image is in Category:All non-free media. I don't think this can be accomplished with current code, so a bug would have to be filed. Superm401 - Talk 06:15, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was no discussion before this was done. The reason why I did this was due to the large amount of non-free images that do not have separate rationales for each article the image is used in. And the problem is, either the people who upload the images and/or adds the images to the articles don't know, or they choose to ignore policy. I understand why you reverted my edits and I respect that decision. But this issue does need to be addressed. nat.utoronto 11:06, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The <div> tags are not being rendered correctly – the < and > characters are being rendered as &lt; and &gt; in the image page HTML. Have a look at any image page to verify.

The page needs to be reverted to this good version. Many thanks. haz (talk) 17:39, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

...and reverted back; I the developers said they made an error that caused this bug and it has since been fixed, so I reverted back to use the divs again. --CapitalR (talk) 19:44, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
