:I nominate Indignant Flamingo to be Editor of the Week for this user's outstanding contributions in WikiProject Japan. This user writes biographies of women who have received an Akutagawa Prize, Naoki Prize, or MacArthur Fellowship, and tirelessly translates material from Japanese to English for our readers. I stumbled across one of his recently-created articles, Akane Takada, which was featured on the main page at Did You Know. One of his best works is Snakes and Earrings, a novel about a Japanese women interested in body modification. This user has been editing Wikipedia since June 2018 and has shown high-quality work. With over 50 articles created since he started (including 7 DYKs and a GA), I have no doubt that we will see more from him in 2020 and the years to come!
