User:John from Idegon submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

I nominate Editor Jessicapierce to be Editor of the Week for her long term diligent copyediting. This the the kind of editor we created this award for! She is not super active, none of her work is controversial; she just picks a topic and gnomes away quietly and unobtrusively, making the encyclopedia a better tool for its users. Her edit count on Mr. X's tools is for lack of a better word, pretty. I remember back when we were first discussing the creation of this award, and I cannot think of an editor that better fulfills what our intentions were for this! I became aware of her just recently, as her chosen topic at the moment is schools, my usual topic. Her edits are very helpful, and I noticed no one has really ever thanked her for them. Let's thank her in a big way and give her an Eddy! This nomination was seconded by User:L235 and User:Buster7.

Barnstar

The Minor Barnstar
For your fight against typos and bad grammar via minor edits. Cheers, Max - You were saying? 16:40, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

For all the very helpful gnome work you have been doing of late on school articles. One thing most school articles seem to need is updates on enrollment and demographic numbers. And the good news is......they are really simple to update! There is a federal government website that publishes stats on all schools, public and private. Its called NCES. (sorry I don't have the link, as I'm on my phone, but it's the first hit if you Google the term). The public schools ate usually a year behind and private schools three years behind, but that's usually an improvement. Thanks for all you do! A barnstar for you!

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
Thanks for removing the Extra section on the Waterford District High School site. I just received my wiki acct and was going to do this today. Regards, Michael Msuski cdn (talk) 11:59, 3 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rose Tyler

Hi! Sorry if my revert seemed a little rude. I reverted your edit for both consistency with other television fictional character articles, and other good articles in the Doctor Who/Torchwood wikiproject. Paragraphs are usually grouped together because of subject rather than length; an example from the Rose Tyler article I reverted is that the Television Appearnces section generally follows a one paragraph per series format. I felt that the revised version showed too much whitespace; especially on anything above a medium sized computer monitor. Hope that makes sense Eshlare (talk) 16:26, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Understood - thank you for letting me know! Jessicapierce (talk) 03:10, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Longeing

Hi Jessica, I actually kept the edits you made on several other articles, but as this diff shows, you actually entered a BUNCH of errors with your edits to this particular article. Some fixes were helpful, but there were so many others that changed tense, altered an intended nuance, or just simple errors, it was easier to revert. What I did just now was to take the position that you edited something because there was a possible problem, and then I restored some, but not all, of your fixes. I also caught a couple other things along the way that I tweaked. If you have further questions, feel free to ping at the article's talk page or here - I'll watchlist your talk. Montanabw(talk) 22:00, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is very unlike me. I always preview before submitting edits, and errors - mine or otherwise - usually jump out at me. I'm sure I commit the odd typo now and again but this... wasn't great. I can only assume I was more tired than I realized, and got sloppy. I'll have a look at the other edits I did around that time, to make sure nothing else crazy got through.
I enjoy working behind the scenes here and certainly never meant to make more work for anyone - quite the opposite. So thanks very much for your help! Jessicapierce (talk) 01:34, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, you ARE helping! Feel free to, um, trot over to WikiProject Equine WP:EQUINE and join! Montanabw(talk) 04:38, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
