:I've worked with Baffle for quite a while (we're fellow coordinators at the [[WP:GOCE|Guild of Copy Editors]]), and {{they|Baffle gab1978}} richly deserve the recognition of an Editor of the Week award. In addition to a great deal of copyediting (particularly articles on the [[WP:GOCE/REQ|GOCE requests list]]) they guide and encourage new copyeditors, mediate disputes and are in the process of clarifying and streamlining the project's many subpages (a daunting task—the GOCE is in its second generation, as it were, and the project pages have accumulated their share of cruft). I'd love to see such a dedicated editor receive a public pat on the back for their behind-the-scenes work to improve the encyclopedia. |
