New jpg to Nicholas A. Basbanes page

Hi,

Thanks for adding that Nat'l Archives crop of Basbanes to the page. Unfortunately, where it was inserted, the first caption was no longer correct. I reversed the photos to make the first caption correct again and added the National Archives credit to the second one. I think, like you, that the page might benefit from more illos. Can't argue with you on that, as they say it is better to see something once than... . --Taterian (talk) 21:57, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Misidentified image?

I came across the Melancthon S. Wade article today, and saw the signature of the image looked like a different name. Per the source, it's actually an image of James S. Wadsworth, and the signature does appear to be "Jas. S. Wadsworth" in old-timey cursive. It looks like you uploaded the image to Commons last May. Are you aware of any reason to believe that this is actually of Wade instead of Wadsworth, or is it just an error that can be renamed on Commons? Hog Farm Talk 20:43, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing it out, and it's up for renaming, as well as correct image in the article. --Taterian (talk) 02:54, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for getting this sorted out! Hog Farm Talk 03:40, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week in recognition of your great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:Buster7 and User:Carptrash submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

Taterian has about, 3000 edits since joining the Wikipedia Community in 2015 which is a nice steady, reliable pace. Trouble-free and easy to work with, they have recently added a hundred much needed mural images to the article List of United States post office murals. The enhancement to the article that UserCarptrash and I created many years ago is like seeing a seed that we planted still producing new flowers under the watchful care of a new gardener. Much appreciated.
