Welcome to Duke TIP
The Duke University Talent Identification Program is a nonprofit organization that supports academically talented students in grades four through twelve. We offer above-grade-level testing, enrichment resources, year-round learning options, residential summer programs, online courses, and original research to supplement what students receive in school.

Young Scholars Program
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Young Scholars Program, a selective precollege scholarship, seeks high-performing 7th-grade students with financial need. The program cultivates scholars' talents and abilities throughout high school by providing individualized academic advising, financial support, and a pathway to the foundation's $40,000-per-year college scholarship. The application deadline is March 23.

We work hand-in-hand with educators and school officials to expand the resources available for gifted students.
Open Educational Programs
We offer educational programs throughout the year—in the fall, spring, and summer. Both in-person and online programs are available. Here are the programs currently accepting applications.
Summer Studies
Three-week residential program for high-achieving students in grades 7 through 10. Now accepting applications for grades 8 through 10.
eInvestigators
Work with other gifted students to solve a mystery in this month-long, online experience. Grades 4 through 6.

ACT and SAT Scores
What do your scores mean? What can you do with them? What comes next? We can help.
PSAT 8/9 Scores
Students in the 4th–6th Grade Talent Search who took the PSAT 8/9 will receive their scores in the mail in mid- to late-April. The report will come from College Board, not Duke TIP, so be on the look-out for an envelope with their logo.
