LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A 22-year-old Arkansas man is accused of using the United States Postal Service to receive high-grade marijuana from California.

According to the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, Christian Olson spent $5,800 each week using the digital encrypted currency Bitcoin to have marijuana shipped via the USPS, with a return address of a vacant house in California.

Olson, deputies added, had a return of more than $16,000 per month. It is said to be unclear at this time how long this went on, as they have no way of tracking the purchases made through Bitcoin. The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office is working with USPS to determine how many packages may have been delivered.

Olson, of Heber Springs, was arrested on March 17 and is facing both state and federal charges. The investigation is ongoing.
