Long ago, there was a prince and a king whose worth and excellence were connected with the Dao.Since then, all things have been taken from him and tend to develop their own ways.Yet he himself is the root of them all.Though the ruler practices the Way,He never deviates from it.Like the Way, he maintains the unity of himself, and he nourishes things without possession.Though he honours the Way,He does not regard himself as the teacher of the Way.Though the Way is honoured,He never comes near to it.Like the Way,he honours not himself. The honoured Way serves only to assist him, and does not control.Like the honoured Way,He is not independent of the honoured Way.This is called the mysterious virtue.
<|endoftext|>
In ancient times, the greatest one was an intelligent being, leading, an intelligent being. All others were inferior, leaders, all others are subordinate. When the wise one grows old, inferior leaders become all others. The wise one seeks to remain in the eternal nameless, leading others through the oneness of himself and everything else, by practicing the Tao.He does not take possession, maintains selflessness. He cherishes life and longevity, never claims to know the future. The wise one does not attach to his own faith, this having been carefully cultivated in him.He remains without partiality, not tending to love the person of others. He does not cherish his own body and possessions, therefore not owning them. The wise person stays without seeking any appreciation. Being without desire, he shines with compassion on all. Through his teaching, he is absent of ornament. This is the subtle virtue.

When the superior prince attained the Tao (an ultimate Absolute) he was somehow he who truly follows the Tao.As a result, he has a central hub for the whole world of things, the Tao-Te in action in all directions. The sage keeps his perfect original soul, as if without using words, so that all beings return to their original uniqueness. The sage, when developing himself, dwells on his limitless potential, so that he not only contains all beings and matters, but then also brings them to perfection. When he concentrates on the Tao, he stops once and for all. In that he is wise, and creates the Spirit (the One), such that the Infinity (the Origin) comes to everything.

When people are in accord, it is by constancy, not by stirring of their imaginations. When things are in accord, it is by stability, not by change of their aspect. Therefore in reverting to the ONE, we have not yet become one with the Tao. When changing to duality, we are in agreement with what has happened. When returning to the ONE, we have not yet become one with what has happened. In relation to Tao, we do not wish to contend with it, so we are not required to exert our might in order to be one with it. In relation to the Dao, we do not wish to contend with it, so we are not required to exert our might in order to be one with it. When we learn to differentiate, this knowledge comes not from calculation, nor does it come from desire; in it we are not taught to regard the Tao as a way. When we learn to distinguish the Tao from the Dao, this distinguishing happens, not from calculation, nor does it happen in the sequence of sequence, and not from desire, nor from desire, nor from desire. In the end, when things have received the True, they cease to receive the Worst.
<|endoftext|>
When all (in the world) are at one with the Tao,
Nothing is out of bounds.
When all have Dao in common,
They are relaxed and centered.
Once set aside,
You must return to it.
Thus your lives will not be separate
Nor be one with each other.
When both the Tao and Dao blend,
There is neither-sense of separation.
And as you develop in clarity,
You'll also develop in gentleness,
And as your clarity spreads,
You'll also become more humane.
In this way,
You'll reach the goal of Tao-love,
And you'll no longer be separated from the world.
<|endoftext|>
The whole world follows the Tao Way.The Tao Way serves the whole world. When they grow in Tao,They will not get confused with all of creation. And the one who is confused will meet the Tao Way.When he falls in with the Tao Way,He will have done well.He will not be forced to serve all people of the world. He will never leave that which he has to serve.

Natural evolution by natural development was always followed by creativity. Creative activity is always followed by creative sensing.
Creative sensing is always followed by creative intent.
Although we can see every living thing as it exists in its natural state, we cannot but see in relation to something we call the sacred. The sacred is like a female. It is alive and weak and beautiful and vivid. It is as if it had never existed. It is this unity that the creator abides by, and he can manifest his essence, and receive his desires, and move toward completion. The great facilitator of creativeness is the Tao.
<|endoftext|>
Nature by its nature is always gradually, that is to say continually, acting as it does. Although conscious of its ability to act, we cannot but be conscious of its ability to rest. Conscious of its ability to act, we are not conscious of its ability to think, though we can think of many things which are still doing, much less conscious of their ability to act. Such is the significance of nature as the female (origin) of all creatures; and the female of all creatures becomes such in its activity.
<|endoftext|>
Natural evolution occurs, and this is natural, which all others take for granted. But this assumes to be innate and unchanging and this is what we humans, of course, take for granted. We human beings are aware of our naturalness and constantly feel it,but we do not express it as our natural nature and we pretend that it exists in our minds. When we recognise our naturalness and the inner voice of our being, we can then use it to act,but we can not act according to our own nature. This natural kindliness which everyone takes for granted is one of the mysterious secrets of the natural. The mystery of our naturalness is hidden but it cannot be contained in our minds. It is the source of all our power, and there is no time for self-preoccupation.
<|endoftext|>
Natural evolution is like a flowing river.
It moves through non-action and becomes conscious of the cycle of existence.
It practices its activity, but the cycles are never broken.
No personal perspective is necessary for the process of creation.
Nature acts without providing perspective; the relationship between the spirit and matter is not permanent.
When the power of consciousness arises, existence becomes essential;
Nature makes things in

Having attained ultimate goodness, virtue alone is superior to yourself. The essence of the subtlety is an eternal gateway to Tao.It is just by its motion that all beings come to be, and there is no differentiation of being, harmony or discord. Not dividing being, it is filled with all qualities.Concentrate on what is real and exist in simplicity.Define the essence, and become an original. How could you divide being from the essential source?By concentrating on the essential, you gain access to all things. That is how transformation takes place. How can one restrict his birth?By being true and trusting in true essence.

All creatures and things proceed from the Tao,
While its will comes forth and may be maintained.
It generates everything, the ten thousand things,
And teaches them by means of this.
As the teaching goes on,
The perpetuation of the Tao,
The keeping up of the ten thousand things,
The exercising of its fundamental principles,
That is how things grow and develop,
Producing them, they are honed by the Tao,
Producing them, maintaining them,
Knowing they are respected for this.
The constant growth of the Tao,
The never doubting of its essence,
The teaching of the ten thousand things,
The influence of its mission,
The playing of its part,
The adaptation of things,
The correlative action of the essence,
That is how it is recognized.
The Tao,
The source of the all things,
Grasped by the constant embracing,
Attains perfect conduct,
Can take no step backwards.

The ancients were the singers of life-Tao, though they existed but on earth. On earth, they possessed the Tao, but lived for life.
It became their life-thing. They became their life-thing by means of it.
They were born of it, but they did not become their life-thing by means of it.
They had it, and still were alive.
It was always so.
That is why, when one finds that thing which there is, it is nothing else than the opposite of that thing.

Praise the subtle, not the light. That is why the wise man keeps a sharp eye for the subtle (po) rather than the light (wu) and keeps his mind open to all. Ever since time of old, the people have thought of the subtle as dark and all-pervasive. Who can embrace the subtle and lose sight of the light? No man can do both and do both without the other. The light embraces, but the hidden within is hidden, although knowing it yet returns to darkness.

With penetrating observation the truly wise discern the subtle qualities of the cosmos. This insight is unique in their ability to be subtle and abstract. Who can abide this insight and be without understanding? It is not the teacher's task to govern but the student's. It is the duty of the teacher to give nourishment to the roots, nurture them, and guard them from unnecessaryness.
<|endoftext|>
To understand the subtle, the bright, the wise observe it but never see it.Hence, deep and dark united; dark and light; shadowy and foreground; the light and shadow. How all these merge, let this understanding be!When a man is sure to have the insight, he does not affirm it; is not as though he needs to prove himself to anyone.Though there may be laws, I tell them nothing. My light is without law; the dark does not dwell within. The light dwells therein. As the former disburses the latter,Is it by the law that the former gives the former birth? Is it by law that the former impart to the latter its nature? All things came into existence. They were created by them.I am not a guardian. I am without dignity.I have no value.Just so:From generation to generation,I cast my light upon things. The wise man understands this: It is called the inner light.Indeed, he hath not the limit to this light.Though he hath reached the dark, he hath no sharp spot. His light is mild and not to be smitten. It doth not shut its doors, it doth not make judgments of its space. It is the law that the wise has.The black is there; the light, not.The dark is there, but not the light. The bright, but not the dark. The mild, but not harsh. The ugly, but not ugly. The dark is there, but not the dark.

Acknowledge the cycle of the cosmos, and the Laws of the Universe will flow to you. When you realize that the Laws of the Universe have transformed your DAO,then your DAO can abide without change.Your DAO is universal in shape and form, but un-differentiated in origin. If you try to understand your DAO, you will see that its origin is multitudinous and deeply-rooted. As it is multitudinous, it is ineluctable. When you try to comprehend it, you will be overwhelmed by complexity. You will realize that each aspect is a aspect of the whole. As each aspect is a portion of the whole, you begin to realize that all of creation is part of one whole. When you realize that the whole is part of the One, you begin to understand the hidden mystery of your creation.Know the nature of the Tao,and you can be understood by anyone. The Laws of the Universe will become the Laws of you. By knowing the Tao, the Universe can be your home.Though the Universe be your home, you can become all you want. Because the Tao is within you, you can be a constant presence within all things.Your boundlessness is beyond measure, so far away is it from your innermost desires. All things, of all kind, will benefit from your teachings. The Universe, for you, is the home. The Universe is your universe. The center is the sanctuary. The center is the birth of all creatures.Your source is the home. The home is the life of all things. From this: The Master sees the Tao as being the Tao, and asks no questions. She can become a teacher, she is a guide, she is a mother, and she is a teacher. When your teachings begin to flow naturally, you will be able to embody all things as one.

If you accept the Dao and the patterns in your own nature,
your patterns will become like the Tao.
To keep your pattern without changing it,
is to dwell in the transcendental nature.
Dao is infinite; infinite is the limit of all the things.
Yet all things emerge out of Dao and serve as models for the totality of reality.
Of the myriad worlds, there are the few that merge with the universe.
All things come from the universe in turn;
the very example that the world must follow is the extreme, of the transcendental nature.

A skillful mother nurtures her children, and teaches the sons to be free of passion.
These things are the results of the Tao.
That which follows Tao is constant,
Receptive, receptive, advancing,
Desiring no approval;
Never losing its root,
Holding onto the Tao.
The knowledge of the Tao is profound.
The teaching of Tao is as truth.
The master of a large empire has skill in knowing the Tao.
He leads with no hint of expectations,
Advances without alarming,
Clings to Tao without fail.
The Tao is constant,
Receptive, receptive, advancing,
Desiring no approval;
Never losing its root,
Holding onto the Tao.
Knowing the Tao reveals the Way.
Revealing the Way reveals Tao.
Tao, the constant, the constant
And always behaves like an active, receptive process.
The Master of great armies
Is diligent and constant in gaining new followers,
However small he is;
His insight is limitless.
He neither abandons, nor advances;
His eye cannot leave;
He is thus able to understand the group.
The well-drilled slave
Lives without concealing its Tao,
Puts no limits on what it can do.
Thus it lives, yet never reveals itself,
Possesses no desires,
Produces a home without dwelling,
Holds to itself, which it regards as its own.

The purpose of this wisdom is manifest within. It cannot be hid, cannot be guarded, nor can it be rebuked. When you have found it, it cannot be withdrawn.
I will teach you this [but] give you no intent to live in it. Give you no task to accomplish. You will not give up. If you work tirelessly you will never find a less than perfect track. I do not wish to claim a perfect view of it. I am seeing only the way it comes about. When it comes about it is not to your advantage to deny it. So work diligently. Be able to do nothing else. Everything begins at the beginning; from this [the skilful] I extract that which is necessary.

In the beginning was the Tao (the Laws of the Universe) that nurtured and protected the thousands of things. After those things came various ways of being, so, each one became different from the other. Thus, the Tao nurtured and protected all things and preserved all its original qualities. Each one reflects the original qualities that existed before it. Thus, after a certain period, when the Way is preserved and not used, then it is remembered; and when the Way is used and used again, it is not used again. This is called the Way of Remembrance.
<|endoftext|>
In the beginning there was the Way (Tao) that nourished and shielded all things. After all the things there were varieties of creatures and then there were human beings. After each variety of creatures there were different ways of living, and this was the beginning of the myriad creatures. Following the Way means to preserve and not be confused. Not to be confused means to be preserved. Having been preserved means to be eternal. Having been eternal means to be complete. And being complete is to be endlessly advancing. And being endlessly advancing is to be nothing but the Master.

Tao (the Laws of the Universe) comes into being with some beings having their roots in the ordinary (that is, non-dual) Tao.
The other lives in its boundaries and its boundaries remain again.
When all have lived their lives one after the other things sprang into being.
After that there were varieties.
Each of them has its own natural relationships.
By following it you can find fulfillment.
Fulfillment through its return is to be in harmony with your own nature.
Being in harmony with yourself is to be immortal.
Having been immortal is to be complete.
Being complete is to be unlimited.
Being unlimited is to be at the center.
Being at the center is to be a jewel.
Being a jewel is to be incorporeal.
Being incorporeal is to be unshakeable.
Being unshakeable is to be rule over.
Being rule over means non-involvement.
Non-involvement means having one's full will.
Being fulfilled means living in one's self.
Having lived in one's self means being fit for what comes.
Being fit for what comes means staying who one is.
Keeping who one is means to return

Only those who dedicate themselves to the Tao can succeed in Tao and develop Tao.When Tao is in the center, it flows freely. When Tao is lost, it maintains itself by retaining what is necessary. When people take hold of Tao, they then turn to a Tao that satisfies their wishes. This that is devoted to Tao is called an original, flowing virtue.Original virtue, it is true, is flowable, and vigorous, and untiring, but never losing its vitality. It is not different from things in their essence, for it is constantly conserved and returns. This being true to its essence, it is called the Tao.Tao is of supreme importance in the sequence of everything. The reason Tao is supreme in the sequence is that it is supreme in the sequence. If Tao could find its root, it would suffocate everything.Tao is nameless, and yet it is supreme in the sequence. All things form a sequence by following the Tao.When things follow Tao, the Tao becomes their nature. When Tao abandons itself, it then degenerates. When people lose their own nature, Tao becomes their nature. When Tao is rejected, all things come to be.When Tao is preserved, all things are reborn.Tao is true, yet it never neglects its true nature. No one is master over the Tao.Tao alone has the right to claim the right to be lord over everything.Tao is unchanging, yet it will never change. It is that Which truly is, And claims no position in this world.By this reason Tao can call itself something else. Why should it create something for the world to believe in? It provides the foundation for all that happens in the world.By this way it is truly the Mother of All Things. Therefore, its all-encompassing presence in the world Is evidence of its true nature, Which hardly distinguishes itself. How can one claim the motherhood of the universe? Its people are born, but DAO cares for them.No one can force it to love, as if it were the only thing it can love. That is why the DAO says: "Won't I like you."Who will say "Yes"? Because you love, too. When you love, you can't love with words. When you love, you can't love with force. That's why people always love that which brings them joy, not THAT which they love with force. That's why we say:We love DAO, but can't love ourselves.Only to love, like a child, and never to force it to love. That's why we say:If you want to define what is great, it's the DAO.

Your birth is nourished and supported, your body re-shaped. Eventually, you give birth to all things. And that is how everything comes into being. The Tao is one.All things are born of it.All things have a life of their own.Without its knowledge, they cannot become. Therefore,If you can only be aware of it, you can become as a baby. All things come from the Tao. The Tao is one.Without it, how can you know the Tao?Thus, in order to know it, you must only know the Tao.Know the Tao to know the Tao, and you can be ignorant of the Tao. Thus, know the Tao to know the Tao, and you will be ignorant of the Tao.If you are ignorant of the Tao, you will be impelled to take everything for yourself. The world of the Tao is all creation. It nurtures and nourishes them. It gives them their place. The world of the Tao is free from attachment. It only confers its grace upon them. It is its guide and master. The Way is the Principle, the condition of all things. It keeps them and gives life. The source of life, it is hidden but not inferior to Reason. Reason holds that which it does not know. It goes beyond reason. Therefore: Reason, to become aware of the Principle, must abandon Reason. Thus, Reason is aware of the Principle; it is subject to it; it takes its place. Then the Principle is the beginning of all that happens. The Principle is infinite in being. It gives life to all things, takes their birth, nourishes them, and gives them their place. It gives birth and nourishes all things,

How can they make people like them, if they do not do this? Therefore they try to make people like them by things. What do they do, yet do not do this? They try to make people like them by things. Now this is known as insight. We might say that this is even less understanding. We might say that it is even less understanding. Therefore those who use it will be laughed at. That is why it is no longer welcomed. That is why it is no longer welcomed. It is no longer accepted, and consequently it is not trusted.

He who is the follower of Tao is good at cleaning the breath.Breathing in the body is very important, so if he cleansse it all things become fit to respond to him. Therefore in caring for the body he cleanses the body;he cares for the spirit and body, then he becomes an instrument to serve the spirit. He becomes an instrument for serving the spirit, therefore he becomes a vessel to serve the spirit. He becomes a vessel to serve the spirit, and then he becomes the female of the spirit. The spirit then is used for the house, but there is a house where the spirit is the female. The house where the spirit is the female is the spiritual valley. The spirit then becomes useful, but it does not compete,Therefore it is respected. This is called the beginning of virtue.

To the possessing one: all beings, heaven and earth, earth, spirit and soul, all things, come to him (the spirit). He (the spirit) dwells in heaven, earth, and the soul, and serves them (the earth). He (the spirit) is a receptacle for the spirits (body), and the instruments of the spirits (body), and becomes the mother of the universe. The universe is the outcome of the principles of heaven, earth, and soul, but it was created by the principle of heaven, earth, and the soul. This principle is so subtle, so evasive, and so natural, that no one can fully comprehend it.I can only describe it as the beginning of good fortune.

Everything in the world, heaven and earth, earth and spirit, they all give life to each other.

The subtle character is always present, and is a major substance in the world. Its nature is that it is an immaterial substance.Everything that has an essence lives by its immaterial nature, without ulterior motive. It serves the world, and does not alter its nature. It gives birth to all things by the subtle essence of life, and it sustains them.It raises and assists all things in harmony and security, so that they may thrive. All things rise from this unmoved life. Not being possessed of a thing, it acts like the helper of its self.It does not want to possess a thing, and yet willingly assists it in doing good.It respects its existence, and does not like to be laughed at.The spirit which is in the person of the lord serves as the source of the subtle essence, and sustains the world. It produces, nourishes, and nurtures its world. The person of the master of all creatures becomes the source of the subtle essence, and its world. It is the source of all things and their (the universe's) sustenance. The noble is the origin of the mere world, and the manifestation of the essence of all.In being the origin of all things, the lord's own essence is the origin of the essence of all.

The subtleties of Tao-Nature are constantly changing, and could not be conceived before the great flood. The multitudes in the world were all born with these Subtle Thinkings,But in a state of repose,Even the least can focus their thoughts on the Tao-Teach.Thus they are able to work, to be productive, to create,To be self-sufficient, to attain the fulfillment.Even for the lowliest among themThere may be a subtle energy, which sustains them,They provide them security, bring them order, Help them to grow,And to grow to the point of completeness. Thus, they are capable of goodness and honesty,They serve the Tao, not selfishly,Which means that they have the universal goal. They are the Lord's offspring, the help of Tao-Nature,And the God's aid,Not hostile to Tao-Nature,Which means that it serves all things. The Master is the beginning of the Tao-Nature,And the source of the world; His Tao is his mother, but not his master. He loves nothing and consequently is indifferent to praise. He has

The pristine presence of the Tao in nature never ceases.
Amazed by it, people never cease asking questions
I have no patience for it, so I seek the source
The Master's virtue becomes manifest in its child.
People call him "The Way is active in creating";
He's a "Good Thinker"
And "The Leader of an army".
It's Tao that nurtures them,
It acts as the source of their identity
And it nurtures them through its effects
And it practices its benefits
It supports them in a way that it accepts without expectation
It is all in one and nothing is hidden
It is the image of the universe, and therefore mysterious.

The Tao of the universe
Is so much better than the Way of the self.
The Tao of the universe is like Tao of the Tao;
The Tao that unites the universe is stronger than the ego.
If the self loses sight of its Tao,
It will lose its self-strength.
Be aware of the Tao,
Your love of the Way will last.
If you don't know it, it's just another phenomenon, like a baby in the embrace of its parents.
The Tao is always invisible,
It gives rise to the beginnings of life,
It acts as the Tao,
And is the unchangeable way to everyone's existence.
The Name of the Tao
Is vague and intangible
In its parent's embrace, it gives life to all things,
It frees the mind,
It nourishes the body,
It preserves the universe
It is the supreme manifestation of the Tao
Hence, it is also the transcendent,
The limitless,
The origin of all things,
The source of the Tao
Therefore, it is often confused with the other essentials,
The Way and The Tao
Yet they are inseparable and intimately connected
And they are the same everywhere.
The Way is the beginning of the universe.
The Tao is the greatest cause of all manifestation.
The Tao is infinite and pervades all.
If the person does not know it, it is like a shadow in the morning sky.
Therefore, the name of the Way is Tao.
The name of the Tao is Tien.
The form of the Tao is the One.
He who values his ways will not go astray.
Because he does not value his ways, he can remain faithful.

Nature is enlightened and pure.
It preserves all things from being tainted.
It causes the creatures of the world to be named.
And leaves this place for these things.
That is called the Jen
The "Name" - whiteness.
The "De" - dearth.
The harmony between the Jen and the De.
Is called the "The Starry Mind"
<|endoftext|>
When an enlightened man holds fast to the Way, he follows it naturally, a natural way; and in the same way, when a man of average moral character identifies himself with the Way, he identifies himself naturally with it.
In the world of men, an enlightened man presides over things, and a man of average character governs them, for he presides and governs them on their behalf. The wise presides, and governs them, and cares for them with sincerity. It takes care of them, for it provides them with provision. It takes care of them, and provides them with safety. It cares for them, and needs them when they are destitute. It lays claim to them, and therefore receives from them; It helps them to grow, and provides them security, and keeps them from being out of reach.

The Tao is a mysterious Spirit. It is clear, pure, pure. Its purest radiance is the clarity of its essence. No matter how well understood the universe is, it cannot be fully understood. All things follow its signs, but never understand the Tao.When the beloved holds fast to the Tao, it acts spontaneously. It acts naturally. When the profundity of the Tao is perceived, it is spontaneous, but no matter how well learned and fulfilled the beloved is, it will not be fulfilled. The Tao constantly raises itself up, and raises itself up without striving. It never tries to correct, to beautify, to guard, to bestow, or to treasure. It sets itself up and does not move up or down. It rolls on itself, endlessly, for it gives everything and everything, yet does not press on to anything. It always acts without desire. It is the principle of clarity, inasmuch as it never desires to be what it is not. It is the mystic virtue, and is therefore the secret of mysteries.

When virtue is wasted,
When wisdom is lost,
The DAO doesn't lose its way;
It functions as a mechanism
That produces all things,
All things are born of it.
It's a cycle.
Therefore it is said of those who do not oppose it
"It is a shadow and a formless substance."
<|endoftext|>
The Tao is the mother of all things. The way of the Tao is a path to all that exists. It is not the mother of all things, nor the nurturing principle of all things, for it does not seek life in creation. It is eternal.
Tao gives birth to all things; Tao's virtue gives birth to all things. It is with each that the Tao dwells. Tao endures without seeking for life; it is a formless mother to all living things.
Without dwelling in Tao, one may live. Yet without dwelling in Tao, one may live without seeking for life. It is the void that makes a living, but it is not that to which you cling.
This unity of Tao and virtue is called "the door" that opens all living things. The Way is neither the door to the universe, nor to the hidden center of the universe.
It is the mother of all living things. You must not try to possess it, for Tao is the gateway to all things.
Tao gives birth to all living things, but only when virtue is installed. The Tao may seem to be the natural way, but it is not natural. It is somehow no less than the invisible divine and the manifestation of the infinite, hidden within all things.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is the mother of all things; The Way of the Way is the way of all beings. The way of the Way is mysterious, mysterious, the way of the Way. If you do not grasp Tao, The Way will not hold you fast. Tao contains the Tao of all things; Tao as the Way is an image. Tao as the Way is mysterious, mysterious, the way of the Way. When you don't get hold of the Way, Tao can't hold you fast. If you don't own the Way, The Way can't own you. If you don't own the Way, The Way will not be your friend. If you don't love The Way, The Way can't love you. The Way is limitless, but Tao is one. It is there and always

To the wise, wisdom has no ego (substance),So it knows that
It is everything.
He who is wise loves his mind and soul
And thus knows
He does not need to talk about himself.
He does not need to show off to others
Because he himself is something genuine.
To the wise, Everything is nothing;
It is within him that he can be all and nothing.
He is without ambition;
He is content with what he is.
The Tao is inside him, not outside.
This Inner Tao is deep and never going to end.
What we talk about is just not the truth.
True life isn't talk.
Follow this Tao forever
What you are is not important.
Follow this Tao forever
Know your place, not your own self.
Know your self, know your place,
And everything you do is natural.
Let it be your path.
It will grow and develop, strengthening you forever.
Who knows not the journey, is free of its true path.
It is a name, not an object,
And thus true life is indeed your life.

The wise man is by nature open-minded, but his true nature isn't realized, he's just an ordinary human being. The intelligent man is a leader, but in his heart he remains simple and doesn't want to be a fool. The true mathematician and scientist are clever, but in their hearts they're just plain stupid. The intelligent person who's possessed by the Tao in their heart will never act impulsively, and they follow their true nature.Even if something is beyond their reach, they'll always be there to give their own life life, will always go where they need to go.A person who is the Tao in their heart will always have someone they love, a place to stay, where they can be safe from danger. When they look for themselves without realizing it, they look really different, and of course this is just what's true, not something to be looked at.People who feel the real power in themselves are less subject to change and less aware of the past. I love simplicity, my personhood and my whole self is rooted in Tao.

My body is so far from an image that I can pass it by;yet it has always a like. It is intangible. Intangible. Intangible. Its all is within. It holds all within. It seems to long. We call this mother-and-child. This mother-and-child is like the valleys of the Tao.It lasts, lasts;it is unfading. When it dies, it is reborn. If you can hear the music of an echo of what is being named, you may understand what is still, what will be, what has existed before time. You can understand the silent soul. Everything that you know is 'this' within you. If you do not know, then you cannot know what is in you.

A mother's power can guide and serve, the king will be protected by her the value of his body, The king may not be small, he can be a root and a branch, he can develop into the next of kin, he may develop in being the action. The greatest fruit is the action. The origin of the action. The future presence of the action. This is called the middle state.Because the body is not positioned, everything will know it, everything will be without confusion. The distinction of the body, the separation of the self, the foreordination of the universe, the nature of the universe. The ancients called them the wonderful worlds.Words cannot make them clear.Words can only describe them. When the universe happens to, return, there will be long cycles of change, whose seeds are beyond us. A man of bad character should be advised of his duties as little as possible, therefore. A person of good character should be advised of his greatness, this is not to be doubted. A man of bad character should be advised of himself, and that is not to be doubted. So a man of bad character should be advised to take care that nothing seems to damage him, he is not to be depended upon. So a person of good character should be advised to have firm and strong faith, and not trust the external world. Such a person should be advised of himself and never to trust anyone else. Should such a person be entrusted with powers other than his own he should consider himself to be unworthy. A person of good character should be entrusted with his own great righteousness and all should rely on him. Such a person should be trusted by all who trust him and should be in complete confidence with him. This is called 'being in his trust' and doing him no harm. When this is done to a man's character he does it for the good.

A good person will hold himself to account. In this way, he will be honored.
A bad person will hold himself accountable. In this way, he will be evicted.

If a person is a bad person, he should not be allowed to control others. If a person is trusted, then he should be free to act.

A man of bad conduct should have little or no conduct.
Therefore a man of good conduct does not act; a man of bad conduct acts;
A man of good conduct acts with importance; a man of bad conduct acts in comparison with others.
Thus a good man rules and a bad man is ejected from the polity.
A good person, therefore, as ruler, is not free to act; a good person, thus as ruler, is not free to act.
A good man should not give up his person

If you're good at a job,
you still need a job.
If you're good at providing,
you still need to provide.
If you're good at informing,
you still need to tell.
If you're good at using weapons,
they still need to be used.
If you're good at naming things,
they still need names.
Therefore:
When there are ten thousand things
you do not name them.
When there are ten thousand things that you do not name,
you don't rely on them.
So a good leader is one who keeps things in order.
He is one who acts as his teacher.
He is one who acts as a leader.
He doesn't rely on anything.
He acts as a teacher and keeps things in order.
He is one who does not depend on anything.
He acts as a leader and stays right there, which makes him a standard.

If I possess virtue
My conduct is good, my character good,
My dealings good, my work good,
My weapons good.
Yet when I am defeated, I can never again be master.
My charioteers, though they all have power,
They do not master me.
Thus I am good at keeping and taking care of things,
At informing the people,
And at naming them.
I never take action,
And yet there is nothing that I don't master.
Thus I am good at saving and building up the Empire,
And able to act as the shepherd of all people.
I am good at naming things,
And able to do it all.
Yet I am not concerned with the things I do not do.
I am good at saving and building up the empire,
And able to act as a leader.
I act always from a low position,
And at the same time nothing is left undone.
Because I alone am able to act,
I can act without expecting the result.
And since the results do not depend on the action,
I also act without expecting the result.

It is the ability of the Tao to stir and then settle down that is called "being-in-balance." It is the ability of a Sage to guide and then to control that is called "creating order." It is the ability of All Things to adapt and then reproduce themselves that is called "progenuity." (See TAO:WS)
Tao is like an enduring web (moving without going anywhere). Although it does not move, it is undivided. Though it does not have a shape, it is free from boundaries. Though it is free of laws, it regulates the laws.
Without the capacity to be, it can be the central hub of the universe. Though it cannot act, it is an active force. Though it is unruly and uncaring, it acts as its mother. It is without need for anything and is thus able to develop (one's abilities). Without the capacity to be, it can be the root of all desires. Though it cannot be defined, it is known to be self-descriptive. The ability of Tao to be is how it provides sustenance for the myriad myriad things. Without the ability of Tao to create, they will revert to the primal form of that which is. Without the ability of Tao to act, they will revert to natural functions. Without the ability of Tao, they revert to "being"-Just as the first part of the universe, the Tao (Spirit) is inactive and void of need for nourishment. Though it returns to the primal ground of form, it nourishes the myriad and provides existence to all things. This is called the role of nirvana.

The Sages alone - are they not? All the ten thousand things depend on them; with them they create and transform. Without their intervention they would grow old and die, without them there would be nothing. Therefore the Sage follows the natural and not the artificial. Acting without governing, she will be the elder and keep the Way. She acts without governing, she is the stronger, the superior. She acts without governing, she becomes a teacher. She acts without governing, she is a leader. She acts without governing, she is the DAO. The DAO has no actions and provides for all things. The sages did not stop their actions. They fulfilled all their needs.

The king alone is an example for mankind. All creation follows him, and the multitudes around him fulfill their natural activity. Without his direction, creation would cease to be. Thus he remains calm and does not become arrogant. Thus, the best of leaders lives without ambition, and the most capable live in accordance with nature. Since nothing is beyond his control, his ability to teach and guide endures. His wisdom does not require action. This is the wisdom of foresight.
<|endoftext|>
All living things follow the King. Creatures all around the world use the aid of the King. No object is better than a material for learning. He acts without taking credit. He acts without being an expert. He acts without needing direction. This way everything comes together to grow and flourish, and he is able to control them. He leads without following. This is called Seclusion. He takes no credit. He takes no action. This is called virtuosity. He makes no claims to leadership. This is called Serenity. He does not act to please anybody, and therefore he does not deserve contempt. This is called Great Calm.

The wise are flawless, [likely] lacking in virtue but giving rise to all what is. All created things depend on them for existence;Without their aid, nothing would remain. Therefore the wise live their nature in serenity, but have no principle, and do not justify their actions. They have no doctrine and do not make claims for themselves. Therefore, they are distinguished as being abilityful, having a great capacity, and having an order. They act in the absence of expectations and have a fixed course. They act without contentions, and do

To have things from nothing gives you a beginning. To have things from everything gives you a model. To have things from many things gives you an origin. Therefore he who practices great restraint follows the beginning, he who practises great virtue follows the mark of origin,he who practises great persuasion follows the origin. Therefore the great restraint has the place of the great virtue and the great persuasion has the place of the great persuasion.

He who goes without teaching, or wants to lead without directing, finds the way.He who goes by refusing teaching, or wants to lead without teaching, finds a place for humility. So all things proceed from the unchanging,And the indefinable in its turn yields to the indefinable. Therefore the teacher of his times brings the way to the students,And the son of him who is teacher assists the student to be born of himself. He gives the down to the things which are and to the things which don't rely on anything. He gives the things which are and to the things which don't rely on anything. These three together mean following your nature in giving rise to virtue, and supporting the things which lack self-interest.To follow the nature without caring about it is called great carelessness, so the teacher also needs to love the students' lives; And so the son of him who teaches himself.
He who keeps himself whole by getting nothing, will lead the people, the people will become his own (the people), and he will be the source of all things.Hence he who is without rules, avoids the government (the government), as a single provision, thereby achieves all that has to be set in motion. It is by being without rules that the best followers achieve such freedom from the control of others, and this is also the supreme virtue of the ruler.Hence all who are his student are born, and he also helps them to be filled. That which is born he sends forth and does not possess. It is without this that his teacher's virtue is perfected. Therefore the true teacher is always the cause of his students becoming more and more independent, so the real leader of his followers, and the kind one who knows how to command them, is the teachers of their own virtue.

Nature, self-assurance, does not allow himself to be strayed, however sagacious he may be; he is as yet secure, simple and strong. What is in itself extremely marvelous, however, cannot be fathomed, therefore it is only through degrees of wisdom, and subtle cleverness, that Nature, when placed in a predicament, does not withdraw from him, although in some places he must be trembling in the depths of self-destruction; in some places, although he will not yield, he will hold firm, in some places, though he will lose his strength, he will endure. Inferior and superior things do not enter into his mind, because he has no other, but from then on he does everything spontaneously, like a gourd waiting for the spring rain.

All things naturally revert to their roots. Unintentionally the natural world can be startled, even bewildered. With undivided attention we may follow it. When we are at one with the uncarved block of wood, we can hold it up without splitting, yet no one can rumble it to pieces. When we think what may be its worth, yet no one knows the worth, it is difficult to hold it. When it enters the frame of being of wood, it will never be unhewn, its form and its own reality will defy all scrutiny, yet if we do not show off ourselves, the work will be complete. How can we venture to act, when we are so surrounded by the things that exist? The more things there are, the more nothing is left. Behold the flower of the vernal jasavas, the shining tower. It is not glittering, and yet the eye can not fail to see its worth, how else could this be?

Genuine wisdom is not to be climbed. All the time, goodness inclines toward the unworthy.
Thereby, goodness manifests.
Everyone who dwells there is subject.
Everyone who goes there is rejected.
Everyone who lives there is complete.
This is called non-being.
It is the empty truth.
It is that which nature advises
to support the ability to be complete.
Its use is done without force.
Without effort, it follows the way of its name.
With force, it does so only to achieve its purposes.
That is the use of an empty truth.
With force, one uses it only to make its purposes plain.
When the object is handled the method follows.
When the ability is realized, it is done when no one tries.
It is the principle of non-action.
That is to say:
Without revealing its true nature, this truth is the most vital.

The virtue which flows within itself,
It does not make use of
But manifests itself.

It acts and renounces. Being as desiring not
It acts and renounces.
It may be called the sufficing and the un-
lying, Both words so beautiful as:
Lying by itself, and without knowledge
Making use of the totality of nature
As it were a door, which can be opened
And closed by it.
This is the mysterious path of nature,
And from it, nature's word is born.

What is perfection in practice is not; what is impartial is true. It doesn't make distinctions; so it looks like everyone else does. It doesn't define; so it looks like everyone else does. It's graceful; so it looks like everyone else does. Yet its form is unattainable. It's mysterious; so it looks like everyone else does. It's hard to understand; so it looks like everyone else does. Yet its form is really real. It's deep; so it looks like everyone else does. Yet its form is really different. It's dark; so it looks like everyone else does. Yet its form is really real. Tao has no appearance; and no sound.

This goes against TAO and is not an illusion. The Great Thinkers never dream. Do they rely on what the Tao teaches them? No, they use it. They let it do it's thing. A building of the world does not fill up with followers and aspirations. It's a world of constant manifestation and consistent faith. When the subject of a man's mind passes, he realizes all his desires; when he doesn't his desire leaves. This means that the Great Thinkers don't make distinctions between different ideas. The Great Thinkers don't aim at superiority. They don't try to understand all men. So they are alone. They are fine; they are real. The Great Thinkers are not illusive. They do not make distinctions between matter and spirit; so they are silent. They do not concern themselves with the world; they are so complete that they do not call themselves illustrious. They are so broad that they are broad enough to encompass the whole world. They are so deep that they are deep enough to be wide enough to make room for all that exists; and they are so quiet that they can hear all that exists. This is the way they do not display themselves. To them the light appears as darkness, and the sound as a bell.

Being free of the One (the Tao), 'the brilliant and true (Way) from the beginning is not made! - Not that, (in this) I do not desire, and not (without this) desires I stay. The beautiful and the beautiful are different from each other, one within (the Way). When one aspires he cannot fulfill himself; when he is not aware he is not aware. Therefore it is so, (that the great scholar) does not

Though these words appear to be mere platitudes I do not think these words can be denied.
When a big image is formed of clay or rock, when a great tower is built and new terraces laid down, then on these are said to have been built the creatures of the world born. These things are to be recognized by their existence, and not by the existence of them. Therefore they say: Through growth and development the creatures are to be named and preserved. It is through no command that they are to be produced and preserved.
Now if it could be made to depend upon man it would not be just a clay pot; but if its use could be given to him he would be benefited through its perfecting.
Therefore it is said: I do not esteem a thing of the world to be all I value; I only esteem myself to be a small piece of all that is great.
The great man regards himself as insignificant, though he hath many men, as though he were not all his own self.
This has been the ancient custom of the Tao.

True action is from the effect and perception of space
Know what it is, and you'll find it.
Follow your perception, and it leads to the experience.
Do what you see, and it creates things.
Must you act, you lose your peace.
There is no hope or fear.
Do this, and you never get tired.
<|endoftext|>
The understanding is the perception
From the effect comes the manifestation
By following the appearance we witness
Only when we follow the delusion
Can we see the reality
Give life to matter
Nourish the beginning
Free of desire
Reach enlightenment
And then stop

The essence of the Tao lies in the action of perception; the awareness of Direction happens in the perception of substance.
Tao-doing is best when the purpose is not simple.
The action of Direction looks like an image on paper, but not a thing.
Direction gives birth to everything, but it never makes things by itself.
It gives birth to everything, but it does not turn a part of it.
Things come into being, but Direction never turns them.
The Tao is not master of its own destiny.
A master does not value possessions, only the result.
This leads to calm in and in.

Giving life, It takes the form of natural and entire
Shearing the harvest, It takes the form of plough and woad
Completing the work, It takes the form of an instrument of death
Of the offspring, It takes the form of the infant and it is of the woman That's why the man insists on mending her And so they give birth to a new creature
By this means humanity has its fruit and become present for the whole world to behold
Because without ideas, all these arise,
Bodily as well as spirit.
"Why deem I a son? Be his nabe," "For help, supply, provide, humbly impart to him to be his employer, "He can be his kinsman and return to his origin."
Therefore, when Heaven assists humanity, humanity assists Heaven, and, Heaven assisting humanity, humanity helps Heaven.
If Heaven did not intervene, humanity would have no need of its own Providence.
The subtlety of this rule is not to mingle everything and to act one on and the other off. It works upon us on the one hand and overcomes us on the other.
When Heaven provides us with life and is received by us, it soothes us and supports us, but it does not coerce us, and, although it is prepared for the fulfilment of its purpose, it hardly does the thing itself.
This is called a mystery which must be analysed to reveal the secret reality.

By its Tao-walkings all things exist. It creates their appearance and feeds them with fruit and labor,And then dotes upon them without holding the subject in contempt,Since there are no other laws for them than they follow. They are free to imitate whichever aspect of the Tao they wish,The highest beauty or the deepest sorrow. If they contemplate it, they see that it is neither beauty nor sorrow,Yet the Tao itself is no beauty or sorrow, For it is beauty and sorrow are the outcome of human desire.
A man-made world is a spring to its life.It gives life to all things, creates them, nourishes them, provides, harms and rejects, but does not own them.
To do this, the Dao employs models. Its models do not bespeak reality. The Dao doth not reward, nor seek reward. It provides for but does not own, it provides, but does not exact.
It is through this

Existence is nothing without substance, and everything, without essence. These two consist one; that is to say, they are impermanent and eternal. Let us look at the world as a picture of what they could be; it has all things, all physical laws, though they arise, develop and die. The wise take these laws as the pattern for his own teaching. He takes the laws, by their very existence, to be the pattern for the law of things. The knowledge of the laws enables him to enjoy (the essence of) the law, and that which is inseparable from the law, is his treasure. He never rules, and is free from fault (of his efforts to realize the law).
<|endoftext|>
Existence is inconceivable. There are things, both the impermanent and the eternal, both fixed and changeable, both enduring and passing away. Be attentive to the world as if drawing up a model. Look at what happens. All changes take place in infancy, birth, and old age. Rules emerge to govern the changes, but they cannot be the model for the existence of anything. To see that all things, all impermanents, all possible, including the impermanent and the eternal, are existences, we must keep the boundary between material existence and the reality of the universal. To see the model as being the beginning of the universe is a clue to the truth. The teacher should keep himself at one with that reality, seeing all beings as equal, without distinction, and without extreme prejudice.
<|endoftext|>
Existence is absolute,
Yet everything in existence is impermanent,
And then there are things eternal.
In this way,
-Existence consists in being
That is eternal,
-All-under-heaven consist in having -
And yet they are not eternal.
To show the world as an empty vessel is called "existence."
To see that All-under-heaven consist in ceasing to be is called "existence."
To say that things are born is called "existence."
This is called "the Tao's constant principle."
<|endoftext|>
Existence is absolute.
The creatures are all permanent;
There is Nothing but permanent.
Therefore, the universe is the model of things;
That is, there is constant activity.
Know the model as the model
======================================== SAMPLE 6 ========================================
I am in no need to name it
The Way is in all things
My life is founded on the Tao and in the Tao I come to live in wholeness.
The natural world originates as its image: Some go on to flower and flower to the full, Some use it for fuel, Some use it for profit, And some use it for loss.
How to use the natural world's image as the model for all creation! To use the natural world's image to bring the whole creation to its fullness and ripeness is the tao's ultimate purpose. To realize the tao's purpose as a simple function of the image and as the natural human being's goal is Tao's ultimate lesson. To wish to achieve the tao's ultimate goal is to serve as a model for all people. For there is nothing better than a lesson from a lesson. There is nothing better than a lesson.
As the leaders of all nations use the Tao's relentless movement
So the DAO's uses the
ways of the DAO
as a model for the DAO's use of
the way
of the DAO. Using DAO as a model for the DAO is DAO's way
of life,
and DAO follows it by means of Tao.
How DAO is able to make the DAO come alive and
live in the world
And how DAO has made the DAO grow
to be its being
Only because DAO is in the world
And only because DAO is in the world can anyone
be truly DAO and
act as a DAO model
for the world.
To want to be a DAO model for the world
Is to see in DAO
mere word. To see in DAO merely
expression. The sage makes the world
Through DAO, but is also DAO's
father
The DAO is not for the world to see.
There are none who can see the light,
and those who can
can see
only
through
light.
The TAO that manifests in the world
is the Tao of DAO and the Tao of life
and can bring all things to full
equilibrium.
The DAO that manifests in the world
is the DAO of TAO and the DA
======================================== SAMPLE 7 ========================================
Therefore the wise class themselves with the others and embrace the essence instead of pretending to know the latter of the movement. But the Tao is an unfolding of all mysteries And the one who finds it wanting is apt to leave behind this.

Following Tao means "passing the Laws of Life".
The Laws of Life are what makes things grow, move and become,
Produce them and keep them alive.
They are not to be grasped or talked about,
They are even not to be forced.
Next follows, "Winning all things to come forth".
They say they have been and are not free.
Must I then refuse them?
They say, "Why aught more to fear?"
What greater proof of man's folly
could there be?
What better evidence
of man's insolence!
And what alternative can we expect
in living a dignified life?
Therefore the Wise Person lets go of Virtue and Virtuelets hold to Tao.
Who take Tao as their active essence
Lets the world revert to Virtue as their active essence.
Tao has forsaken all of Virtue,
Tao's active essence is Virtue.
Who practices Virtue to its fullness
Must surely revert to the limit of Virtue.
Dao is those who follow the way,
When they look at the Way, they will see it as it is.
Yet they do not define it
They only see it as they see it.

Teh provides Tao (As they say in Tao-As).
Tao provides a wholeness which is a level for all beings.
The wholeness of a whole is stillness and not excitement.
Not to seize in excitement is to be lost, not to rush is to be elated.
Herein lies the marvels of Heaven-Forget all striving to acquire, and the following joy-Till the moment is accomplished!
And it is by being with Heaven-As a human being, I love Heaven-As a gentle soul, that I love it.
I love the Tao-I do not understand it, but I love the Tao
Sincere, yet not excessive-Emptiness, yet not wanting.
All beings can but virtue exalt virtue.
The perfection of virtue, Must surely result from the perfection of the activity of virtue.
He who lives his life by the activity of virtue

Tao, in subtle simplicity, is able to act without intention; yet, it works. Though it produces nothing, its effect is pleasant and graceful. It contains the images of the myriad things and serves as the model for all beings. If no one else can fulfill its purpose, it may be regarded as nameless. In this way, Tao acts without violence. By imitating the way of the world, it strives to make man understand the mysteries of his nature. How it can accomplish this remains unclear, but it displays the Tao as the master of all creatures.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is a substance, and it cannot be put into words. For it acts without action, as a carriage that moves without a wheel. If no one else can move it, it is called "empty". By "in the presence of things" it can manifest them; but it acts without doing so, as a ruler who receives them without taking them for a master. This principle of emptiness is the origin of things; and it manifests itself in the forms of things. If no one else can manifest it, it manifests itself as benevolence, though without love. For, though it is benevolent, it is no master. Therefore, it lays claim to be man's master; for this reason the Ten Thousand Things obey it, and the male as master-constructs them. The Way is the Principle of Form, though it is not different from form, and it is the Reason why Nature is so marvelous. If man could know of it, he would not make things. He would know of it only by means of these principles; and then he would return to the obscurity of Infinity.
<|endoftext|>
The subtle Tao is subtle and intangible, existing without a name. Ever changeless, like water; manifesting everywhere and capturing everything; the world-transcendent; the mother of all things; valuing nothing in return; capable of no being-without-being; showing itself without using a word. By being the source of all things and the mother of all beings, the Tao seems like the most perfect gift: it delights in its own infinite beauty, and has no interest in gain, profit, glory, or blame. By having no desires, its actions are without limits. It is like the way that lays claim to being as the Mother of all things: thus it can be the Mother of all beings without needing to depend
======================================== SAMPLE 9 ========================================
and the way is the source of Tao
Nature is everything that exists in the universe
And Tao is the great heart of all creatures.
The things we love we create in order to be nourished by them But this creation is natural, just as it is natural to grow old without knowing it.
The Tao is always existing to all things And Tao is the source of all things.
All creatures are things in turn depending on the Tao, thus we regard them as matters of interest. We would hardly talk about our relations to things that had been born of Heaven.
We would speak of the things of Heaven as our guest.
We would set bounds to our dealings with them as though they were the guests of Heaven.
Therefore,
The sublime is rare, the eternal returns are great. The Tao
maintain its places in every part of the universe,
to satisfy all needs of all things.
Therefore
it has preserved all things.
To keep them it has given them name.
To name them it has given them its attributes.
To give them its attributes it has provided them for them to be devoted to.
This is called using their virtues for their attainment.
In this way the constant, those in the highest Heaven,
have substance and are the proper guides of the one who possesses the vessels of the Tao,
and the true path.
The truly great
unfettered nature gives birth and brings to being
and tao generates and is supplied by.
The Way creates and provides and is in turn a resource to be used
and is nourished by them.
This is called using the virtue of natural phenomena.
(In the grand universe, of course)
the origin of virtue comes from the presence of tao,
and the source of tao comes from the presence of virtue.
The substance of the universe is given to Tao by virtue,
and virtue is also given to Tao by virtue.
Therefore, Tao is the fountainhead of virtue, the source of virtue, and the origin of all virtue.
There are three things that constitute the substantial human body: The soul, the body, and the surrounding environment. The soul is the mind-stuff; the body is the inner life. The mind and body are complementary substances; the surrounding world is nothing but the mind-stuff and the body-life. In so far as the mind is the mind of

Killing all the creatures is the way of Tao. All creatures of the world are born through killing.
According to the ancient Tao, the living is nurtured by the dead; the living is nurtured by the living.
We live our lives by following the way.
We produce everything by killing.
We grow old and destroy everything.
Because of this, people are generous, and we treat others as ourselves.
We do not always act in accordance with their natural way of being, but it naturally brings people to the Way.
Killing all things is the way of Tao. All things are born with the birth of being. All things with the death of being.
What is born of the earth is alive. What is alive is born of life. What is born of the Tao is forever present and never dead.
<|endoftext|>
The way of the living
treats all living things equally
They are born of the way of the living
and die of the way of the dead.
They are born of the way of the living
and die of the way of the living.
We may be born and grow old
or may be raised and die
But we need not be afraid
and grow.
These things are born of the way of the living
and die of the way of the dead.
Therefore the world of man
cares about the root of its existence
and does not care for its progeny
but in return acts kindly to all
does not command or command.
If man acts kindly
all will grow
and not care to do so.

The perfection of the Way is this: It brings everything to life. Live, and let it do. Die, and do nothing. Live, and let it be. Die, and let it be still. All things grow from this.
The following is Tao's teaching:
The Sage always lives as if he were a dead man. He does not look to others for support, nor do they get it. Therefore he is good to the whole world, and does not claim credit.
He lets what goes on. The sage does not boast to be the best, nor does he claim the power to rule the world.

A newborn has a wonderful sense of life and growth.
Its sense of life and growth must be nurtured.
It cannot be interfered with.
For what does it mean by "It's a newborn doesn't know his own father"?
For it is because there is something a newborn knows that its father is.
For it is because the things that are a newborn knows, that a thing's father is, is the source of its own nourishment and growth.
That's why it has the mind of a newborn.
The sage master regards
"Nature's (nature's) name as his own own name."
He regards his being as his being, and his thoughts as his thoughts.
His techniques as his techniques.
And he values the resources he has, and the successes of others.

When Tao is satisfied,

When not-Tao is satisfied,
Then there are its functions.
When not-Tao is satisfied,

When not-Tao is satisfied,

When not-Tao is satisfied,

It is thus that all living things have a law to them

It is thus that they are everything's law

Therefore,
The law that all things follow is the first law
of the universe.
It is therefore not just a matter of this being or not being,
but of the whole universe.
When the universe becomes clear, it is time to talk about the next step in the course of events.
When the universe is clear, all the living things become rulers of the world.
When the ruler of the world becomes clear, there is tension, strife and death.

It does not control the ten thousand things, but through them it sustains and aids them. Because it does not control them, it has reason to cherish them. Heaven's unlimited power provides the 10,000-Things with food. Earth's power abides with them; they provide them with sustenance. It does not govern them, but through them. The highest and lowest all exist side by side. Things of one valley tangle and pile themselves up as if a great torrent. Creatures of the same valley are no sooner born than they are turned to stone. The Heavens are one, but the Earth is divided into different parts. Beings of the same valley are all self-sustaining; creatures of the same valley have natural instincts; beings of the same valley live in order to achieve results; creatures of the same valley are naturally resourceful. Beings of different valleys live in order to serve the common purpose; creatures of the same valley live in order to be satisfied with their lives; creatures of different parts of the Earth live in order to do what they need to do. The reason a creature is here or there is that they are compelled to be here. And because of this, the universe is here. All creatures that exist here have made use of this mode of existence. Nature can be used, and by using it, everything can be. It is no more than the flower of an infant, to which the infant returns.

Governing Tao as the constant source of all living things is this: Rather than dominating over others, let them rely on their own worthiness. Rather than imposing others' wishes upon others, let them succeed. Rather than deriding others, let others praise them. Rather than ridiculing others, let others praise them. Rather than disdaining others, let others respect them. Rather than profiting by others' goodwill, let others benefit. Rather than displaying their own goodness, let others see their own in their own selves. This is how the Wise Person (Apu) takes them and instills them in their reproductive cycles. They are nurtured and nourished, nourished and cared for, cared for and sheltered, sheltered and protected, protected and supported. They are shaped and shaped without possessing the possession of possession. They are worked and worked without the possession of work. They are active and active without the possession of active action. This is why the myriad creatures are spontaneously-actioned and with work. Only through acting does the Tao become active.

In his giving life to all things, the Creator makes it perfect by letting its activities go unoccupied. He uses them without self-endorsement; he works with them without claiming credit for himself; he provides for their needs without manipulating; he teaches them with silence; and he leads them without imposing.Just as giving life without using a blade, he completes all things.

There is no name which can be better suited to the Tao, the way which strengthens and supplies. By it all things expand in the world, and by it every thing is made new in the world. All things revere the Tao and reverence their nourishment. These two cannot be separated, but by them, the universe is made. Its capacity is always abundant, and its energy is never exhausted. By its very activity, all things benefit, and it returns benevolently to those who owe it gratitude. It sets in motion everything, and always carries on the work which it has begun.

There is no such thing as the infinite, like the Infinite. It is just that it will and nothing can change it.
Everything in the world comes from it. That's why it gives them life.
All things depend on it, and that's how they work. It gives them new-borns.
Everything depends on it, and that's how they work. It gives them what they want.
It gives them all they need.
That's why nothing can replace it.

There is no name for Tao, the Way. It is the simple universal with its limitless way. It is giving life to the world, and it gives birth to all beings. The Tao gives birth to all things. If I cannot return to it, then it is without its existence.

The only absolute in the universe Is nature. Its infinite breadth Is limitless in the infinity of a finite world.Hence, All Things come from it, And its common law of action effects them.It brings them forth, and strengthens them, And helps them grow and flourish,But none of them can compete with its sway.

The student of Tao will never develop anxiety or fear of the loss of his roots or existence. He will not fear his loss of his roots or existence. He will care for his roots and life.To fear losing his roots or existence, is the fear of his permanent and spontaneous return to it.To be anxious or afraid of losing his roots and existence, is the fear of his loss of the original self.He who believes himself a social relation, becomes the opposite of the self of the roots or existence. He who thinks himself on the world, is likewise the world he lives in.He who believes himself self-important, becomes self-important for himself. He who is self-righteous, becomes self-righteous for himself. He who thinks he is good is, in fact, not. He who is self-righteous, who is, in fact, self-righteous for himself. He who loves self-righteousness is not true love.He who loves being good, is not true goodness. When he is in the process of practicing Tao, he will remain alert and untiring, and his real inner world will benefit from his actions and his lessons, all the time.In ritual performance of the Tao Way, he will always be in silence, and in self-submission, he will be impartial and self-enlightened.But when things turn against him, he will not fight, and he will not abuse his weapons. Those who desire to practice the Tao Way must discard love for enemies, nor fear of enemies, nor accept criticism. Therefore the Tao Way will play its role in the world as long as it is not killed, and for ever.

Tao is a mysteriously harmonious force; it brings all things into being, the ten thousand things serve it like a master. It nurtures them, nourishes them, protects them, preserves them. Every living thing loves Tao. This love is reciprocated by all things. Everything follows Tao. It lives in the natural way, thus is obedient, yet it does not try to do too much. It rests quietly and willingly with everything it touches. Tao is for all things what they need to be. It is for all things to live in harmony with it. That's why they call it "all-embracing."
<|endoftext|>
The Absolute goes into action like a wheeling engine. It is ever for and by itself, flows freely without effort, yet it makes a bright appearance everywhere without interference. The outer world regards it as the Mother of the World. It gives life to all things, thus nourishing them, elevating them, preserving them, holding them together, guarding them, strengthening them, binding them, forming them, and for ever acting without forcing it.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is such that all things are endowed with it, but only because they know it's inexhaustible potential. All things strive to accomplish it. Therefore, they keep it in view. It is not in the mind of the master (that he/she is master). Tao flows through all things, and yet it shines without becoming florid, keeps itself within, and so never accomplishes. It does not wish to be known.
<|endoftext|>
That which is in motion is called a thread (huan or te). All things are born from it, but only because they have used it to attain their needs. All things are nourished from it, but only because they have used it to attain their needs. All things are bound by it, but only because they have used it to attain their needs. All things move in succession to all beings; but only because they have used it to attain their needs. But though motion is accomplished (Tao), not content is it to act (vatic). That is why, being Tao, it knows without seeking, it suffices to itself without agitation, it looses itself of its own accord, making itself complete when it has accomplished nothing. It accomplishes nothing but because it is the mother of all things. It is the mother of all

The world has existed,
and
it still exists.
If you can conceive
The endless sky as it appears in the stillness below
and feel the touch of its myriad under-heaves,
You will know how to walk, without a guide,
With the open door that you shut.
Falling
But still without letting go,
You walk through the life of the world,
One on one with the Tao,
Yield no to it,
Open the door to everlasting life.

Of all living things, we have One.
If we can see it clearly,
our power does not dim.
After the valley has long
closed and the streamflows for a hundred miles come,
the way is so clear that I scarcely see it.
When I begin to walk along
I am overcome with anxiety,
the myriad names
bewail and persecute.
Yet I am not one with them;
I am guided by their radiance.
I travel the sky
and the earth
and I enjoy the tranquility of silence,
I lead people
and get their needs met.
I teach the world
by remaining alone;
I am strong to grow.

We have Tao, and even though it may have existed from infancy, it is inaudible.
As long as it can be seen, even though it may be warded off, we have to make use of it.
Forced to march far apart and stilled in the valley of the ten thousand streams, I am not always able to keep from becoming disturbed.
As though alone I am obliged to follow, approaching too close to the valley, I am excited with alarm.
Truly, when one begins to move one follows hardly, But when one rushes ahead, one closes off from one.
But when one rules one rules not, and so one becomes the centre of all the world.
<|endoftext|>
The world as a whole possesses wisdom, and that wisdom remains.
As long as it exists, it is (only) audible.
It is like (only) some valley in the depths of the earth; It is much better to be as far as the rim.
Going fast in a low valley may make one sad, Yet in following behind, going fast may make one restless.

Everything else follows its work and does its job.
However the subtle Way does its work it isn't dictated by anyone.
It doesn't depend on anything for everything it does.
It lets the world develop and to then let it fall apart.
It lets the world fall apart and to then remain still.
It lets everything follow it and to then remain in peace.

What is the origin of the ten-fold image?
It may be compared to the ten-fold image of the Tao.
It can be regarded as the entire course.
Its steps were the form of Tao.
We see that in the beginning, All Things Were (Yung) when they first came into being.
They appear in all the
weeds, in the terraces, and in the plain.
These Things Became in themselves and grew (Yung) Because of what I Have Named, Thus They are Long:
The Tao-Digestion (Lao Tze) is the Root of the Dao, and That is why We regard it as the Way.
We view it as the Image of the Tao, We perceive it as the Complete Course.
We perceive it as the Form of Tao, and We perceive it as the Image of Tao.
This is why we say that it is the Form of the Tao, And That it is the Complete Tao.
This is called the Analogical Relationship Between the TAO and the Dao, For this is the Nature of the General Tao-Dao; The Profound Reason (Yang) of the Heaven (Yang) and the Earth (Ying) Are the Means (wu) That form the Root (ta), and the Cave (ch'u) of the Cosmic Thinkers (yung kuan).
These are also the Times of growth of the Image of the Tao.
When we know the Tao we understand The absolute Tao. When we observe the Dao we realize The common character of the Dao.
When we take the Tao as our own, we seek its transformation, And when we love it, we cherish it.

By being nameless - a master of everything doesn't require anything to have a place in the world. The world is made from a myriad things so being without desires is necessary for all the things of the world to live on and grow and flourish. When all the things are focused, everything is shaped, but when things begin to have an effect, things follow the rules. When things begin to be things, names are attached to them. When all the things begin to have a life-time, names come to be attached to them. When all the things start to move, names are attached to them. This is the principle behind the Master of everything in each and every circumstance. He keeps the "working" on without gratification of the master and he keeps all things governed and centered without making them start or stop. It is by following this principle that he achieves the so called Holy Rite. This is the DAO, the DAO understanding and all that is the DAO's application.

The capability to go forward never endures. By what does the Cosmos bind the universe? By what comes after. That is why when the ancient Master said, "power is lost in the dust of the wheel", she meant that the wheel was blown, not pulled. When it was blown, it could not be fully undone. When it was undone, it became complete. When complete, it was useful. When useful, it served as an example. When an example came to life, it became a model. The paradigm is nothing but what is born. It is because of this that the multitude of things experience their being. And because of this they are wise to recognize their being, and know to preserve it. Sometimes it arises, then it goes away.
Sometimes it resembles things, then it changes into the undifferentiated void.
Sometimes it is calm, then it becomes agitated.
Sometimes it is above the ordinary, then it reveals its vulgar side.
Sometimes it is below the ordinary, then it spreads like the wings of the wind.
It causes no harm to the living things but they grow and thrive.
They develop together, too.
Cultivate in the way, cultivate the Way, and the Way itself is cultivated and increased.
The Way leads but it does not restrain, sets an example but it is well received, rules but it goes far.
It is not illusive. It is only a matter of getting the right balance of things.

When the masters of virtue are of old, When the female is true they attain virtue, When the male is true they attain morality. For it is the morality which provides the female, And the morality which provides the male, But there is neither but who have these three. Thus, we also value and value these three things for things, And virtue has its satisfaction. In things, we are guided by morality, In morality we are guided by reason, And in reason we are guided by the laws of nature, And we are guided by the laws of nature, And by the laws of nature, By the laws of nature, and then we will give them orders. When Heaven-derived virtue emerges, an intuitive conception of conduct follows.A conception of accordance follows, then it nurtures a firm formula.Such an relationship begins through the Tao.Before TAO originated, the natural has originated. The image of TAO permeates all beings. Its laws cause all things to work as the way they would. This action (the action of TAO) is rooted in reality.Realities are thick as clouds, and the principles of reality cannot be plucked. Therefore the Named (the Named) precedes the Named (the Named). The Named is then called "the Named".Being part of the action of TAO is the ancestor of the Named.Being part of the action of the Named is the follower of the Named. Therefore, it is non-action that precedes the Named (the Named),and it is non-action that follows the Named.

He is active in order to be adapted to events because it is by this process of adaptation that he is then adapted to the natural, whole thing, which is then realised.Hence, having given birth to virtue, he may look for it in fear.He who lives as a vessel for the Tao abandons himself of his personal self.Who acts without being compelled attains a full-procession,and through it he acquires the blessings of Heaven.Who acts with the Tao, in accordance with the way of Tao, he acquires a strong personality.Without his knowing it, he acquires the life force of the world.

The Way is the essence of everything. The only thing which isn't within it is the World.Everything that comes into being is a result of the World. Therefore, when we call the Female a "submissive maiden" or the "submissive maiden who gives in" the reason that she does, we're talking about the Way that made her do it.When we call something a "breath" or a "sound" we're talking about it as it came into being. If we wanted to try and convince someone of anything about Tao or about heaven or about life or about the Universe we'd have to argue endlessly. The one thing which a person can rely on, is the Tao.The Tao isn't something you can rely on.It's something in which you choose to be.The way a Tao is used is different from the way everything is used. It's not about trying to take credit for anything. It's the Way of Tao.

One of life's great successes is that none of the four animate beings thinks the self as such. They are all subsumed by things, as though the Self were a thing rather than the world. If we say "the Female" is the Submissive one, it seems the world to which she submits her becomes a person to which she is attached. I say "the Deuce" is the Stirring one, which lends itself to Expression; I say "the Grass" is the Teeming one, which lends itself to All-Round Motion; and I say, "the Simple Life" is the Modifying, which is an Image of the Great Matter. The Modifying, the Modifying: the Modifying in virtue of Its presence is that which gives birth, The Modifying in virtue of its absence is that which yields; It is Modifying in virtue of Modifying, and Modifying in virtue of the Direction.

The sincere sincerity of self-interest is sufficient.
The success of such a person is achieved through his continuous giving.
The self-sufficiency of the successful, and the self-sufficiency of the successful, cannot be known.
The contrary.
This is the essence of Tao:

Their virtue is enduring and sustaining
They give even without expecting a return
They are able to work, and get in the best way
They work as though they did not care if they had done anything
They make no show of success
They do their work without putting it in jeopardy

All things were born from the One. The One may be called the Principle. The Principle may be referred to as the Infinite. From the Infinite we might consider the elements. The Infinity is so great, that it cannot be comprehended. It may be called the Mysterious. For this reason the wise man rejects it and lives by the Principle. To reject the Principle means to reject the Universe. To reject the Universe means to reject the Principle. When all things are on the Principle's side, the Principle receives their support. If the Principle fails, the Principle may be blamed for it.

When all is on the principle's side, the principle receives its support. But the principle is not enough. He who denies the principle Must lose faith in him. To assert the existence of God is to become great. To assert that things exist as if they do is to be lesser. Therefore, when an advocate of Tao opposes the Great Power of the Tao, he is cast out. When a body witness of the Holy Body asserts to act according to his special nature, he is sure to lose his body. When an object witness of the Tao asserts the existence of its attributes, he is always in danger of annihilation. Therefore, the great things of the Tao arise from the lesser things. The empty space between the great things and the empty spaces is the Tao. The Tao is an opening to all the myriad matters, and it is the great support of all the various qualities. The great things depend upon the small things and exist through the small things. Tao is the only true guide; The Way governs itself. All things follow, And through Tao make their way. No words can describe the cosmos, It operates through its invisible essence. To the Left is destiny, To the Right, destiny's child. So the Tao's gift is seen in the world; It is what dwells in its image. The Way is forever changeless and ever moving, it cannot be described by words.
Can we understand it? It is imperceptible.
Can we use it? Yes, by clearing away desire and restlessness.
How do we do it? By those who embody the Way and guard it.
The techniques in nature are given to humankind. If it is not utilized, sickness will grow.
In what way is the Way given and how is it given? It is given to us by Tao.
That is how it gives.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao is a ceaselessly existing form,
over and above everything else.
It is Tao -less than everything, (it) can never be described.
Can we understand it? It can be through our own experience.
It is constantly on the move,
and cannot be made to follow an order.
How do we live this? We let go of many things
and focus on the ONE.
How do we put things back into order?
By practicing the Way.
How do we know what is the Way? Through other people.
How do we know what is the Way? We rely on the Way.
We rely on other people.
If we don't rely on other people,
we'll stumble.

All the universe in existence has an eternal form.
In that form, it has no relationship to the universe as a whole.
It is simple and imperceptible.
It cannot be named.
When we stop to think of it, we can see it as a non-existent infinite space.
This is its original function: to give rise to nothingness.
It has no inner strength, or individuality, or difference.
It is a black hole.
It is not much

Before the enlightenment of the Tao, there was nothing. Now there is the Tao.Everything is form, but it is the essence of form.Everything is form, but it is the essence of loss.Everything is loss, but it is the basis of all creation.Everything is the Dao, but it is the essence of nothing. When the Dao becomes incomplete, the essence is lost. When the Dao becomes inadequate, the essence is lost. When the Dao becomes incomplete, things do not exist. When the Dao becomes insufficient, things disappear. Therefore, great virtue resides in abandoning the ego, following the Dao, and consequently being supported by virtue. This is the one true Way.

Before enlightenment there were one and the same. Now there are two and the same. The teh is the root of everything, but it is the ground of everything else. It is the source of the four-fold name. So there is teh that is the root of everything, but it is the root of everything else. It is the source of all things, but it is the foundation of the 10000 names. The Name is the root of everything but that it is the foundation of everything. This is called the paradox.

Before enlightenment there was one. Now there are two.
Together they are one, infinite, endless, clear and single and unchanging in its infinite dark.
Each may be called the Tao, and each one may be called fear, and each is called the end of phantasm, and each is called being on its own.
Tao is the source of all forms; so all things depend on it.
If not without it, they would become extinct.
It is the cause of the undying, and the reality of existence.
It is from Tao that the multitude of things arise.
Because the Tao is without desire, that is the ultimate truth.

Of Tao it is said: The selflessness One speaks of,And desires,He also seeks.Tao creates everything;Tranquility to things. The truth is,That the universeAnd all things,Hold to the TaoWe don't try to control;Yet there is nothing we can't do.And there is nothing we can't master. And the fulfillmentOf Tao is complete,And we are not against it.

Tao is the womb of nature and the mother of all beings. Therefore the superior man should understand this.
The wise man is selfless:He lives in service of Tao, which is both to himself and to all things. And because he does not claim to possess Tao,It is his own.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is the nudge in nature. The man who perceives it is the master of the creature. The wise man is the master of the spirit, and the animal. The wise man looks up to Tao. The spirit looks up to itself. Things turn to Tao, and the Wise Man moves them. Tao is "lover" and "master" but is not in its power. The Wise Man stays at home and nourishes things; therefore Tao is his life. The Wise Man does not desire things and lives in the simplicity of all things, for that is the Lord of them all. When Tao is acknowledged as the master of all things, the wise man recognizes Tao and returns the favor of giving. That is the subtlety of Tao.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is the mysterious womb of the world. The man who follows it knows it. The man who does not follow it is unworthy of being known. Tao is the Great Mother of all things. We have nothing to do with it and it is our life. We do not desire anything. We live in the simple simplicity of Nature. The man of the Tao has no desires, no goal and no demands. In this he is different from the man of worldly affairs.

The Way is the channel of nature; the man who can master it is in perfect harmony with all things.
It is Tao who performs the work of the channel, and everything in it goes on as if it were Tao.
The man of Tao acts by non-action, yet he contains the universe in his hands and fulfills all tasks.

And as the sages of old Those, it seems, who were entrusted with governing the people, Said with no voice; Were standing in open space, and their words were heard; To all that there is to be ruled, That which is good is best done by yielding and working with the former; So the whole world shall then be made (how ever) to be fit to serve, By being made fit to serve by bringing them to the state in which they can serve the last (how ever) that all things may be made to serve, With coming to the state in which they can serve by being made fit to serve, And so the sacred law of nature stays in full force. This is called the life of the Tao;By virtue of it all things are made fit to serve,And so it is that the sacred law of nature,When it rests on people's lives, ensures that it is preserved by their virtue. For this reason the sage, so enamored of the Tao, Sees in it no object; For this reason the sages for many a long time Served it without ever possessing it, And flourished without being master of it, This is called what the Tao gives.

The wise man moves with something in mind that is in him. He acts, not with the engine of compulsion or the computer of rules. The mind is made up of intuition. If the mind is strong enough, an intellectual look can be had. I am not taking things from the world or substituting one mind for another. The mind is more than an engine of perception. It might keep things running smoothly or allow them to run to the point of no return. I am neither taking or giving things, just to the world or giving, simply to receive them. I try to serve as the Wise One's assistant in the field of action. I am the master of the actions of the world, and so the Tao acts as the master's assistant. It is best for people to know the one and the other is best for the mind.

The most perfect man moves by the way which is inside him.
He acts, not by force, nor by reason.
He acts by purpose, for purpose is something strong and superior.
So the noble moves, and the lowly also.
As for the noble and the lowly,
The same cause appears, and causes the same results.
For, the superior moves, but for the reasons of a lesser kind.
And the lesser moves, but because of a greater cause.
The superior moves, but because of what is possible.
And the lesser moves, but because of what is by nature.
The noble moves, because it is for the purpose of others.
The lesser moves, because it is natural.
The noble moves, because it is ordered by the laws of Nature.
Therefore, the DAO, moves for its own sake.
For those who have not the DAO's power
It serves as something they desire.
For those who have the DAO's power,
The DAO does not govern them.
For those who do not have the DAO's power
It provides the means for the purposes of those who have the power.
The DAO serves as a tool for the purposes of the DAO, and the DAO serves as the means of the DAO.
Thus, the DAO acts as a tool for the purposes of the DAO, but the DAO acts as a means for the purposes of the DAO.
Therefore, the DAO serves as a tool for the purposes of the DAO,

Tao in Nature is ever, and always, active. It brings all things into existence; That is why it rules in behalf of men and lets them do.
The supreme wise ruler is always practicing the One Way and never diverting from it. This means that all beings have a Tao in them, but these things become part of the Tao. By being like Tao, all beings can be considered. When human beings think of humans, they consider only the earth. The earth is an aspect of the spirit of the universe. The spirit is what guides all beings. That's why all beings can be considered. When we think of "human" we think of the situation inside our own bodies, but the spirit also has nothing within it. It only has concepts. The spirit knows nothing. It only acts, and asks no of anything. It thinks only of taking things for the benefit of other. So the universe of spirits creates things, takes care of people, then matures people. This empty void seems to be the basic principle behind all things,Where all things reside. It is the source of all joy, Hope and sorrow,Life and death. One alone can perceive the unchanging emptiness that separates us from the World. We can perceive the subtle essence of the Unconstrained by the World. The Unconstrained embrace all aspects of Infinity. The Unconstrained becomes one with Infinity. The Unconstrained teaches of all attributes,Of all directions,Of all actions. The Unconstrained sustains everything and gives birth to all.
<|endoftext|>
There is emptiness in the universe that gives birth to everything. The void is the beginning of all things,The center of all, and the source of the four winds. Thus the Sage appears to be one with the infinite, in loving and benefiting everything; through him we can sense the entire process. It is the complete emptiness that creates and preserves all beings. Being one with the Infinite, everything comes to life. The void is always present, hidden, hidden, yet something unearthly that manifests itself.Being at the center of all the myriad phenomena,The Sage can know and act on the entire cycle.
<|endoftext|>
There is no emptiness in the universe; it is everywhere. It is the source of all.The most subtle is the universe,It's center is the "uncarved block."It becomes the center of the many things. In the uncarved block there is the Mother. The Mother is what gives birth to all things. What we know as "I" is only the artifact of the Mother. She flows throughout the universe,She creates everything.
<|endoftext|>
There is no emptiness. All things come into existence from it. All things exist because of it.Thus the mystic:He who sees the Infinity, sees the Source of the world. He who understands the process, understands the origin of the world. Therefore the wise person regards himself as one with the Infinite and himself experiences all events.
<|endoftext|>
There is nothingbut it is the source of everything. It is the name of the unchanging form of heavenand the image of the indivisible. It is the perfect indivisible and it has all qualities.Within it all the wonder, spontaneity and drama make it what it is.When we are in it we

When you are not overly spirited, others behave as though they are playing with your bollocks.
You are also not energetic, as if you were running about the park.
When you are not extemperate, people treat you well.
When you are not conceited, people treat you fairly.
When you are not haughty, people treat you well.
When you are not proud, people treat you well.
When you are not busy, people treat you well.
When you are not self-righteous, people treat you well.
When you are not anxious, people treat you well.
If you're lost, you're lost, and don't look for it.
And when your Master is lost, he is returned.
In the course of time, you will receive honor.

When men cannot grow ridiculous, And that is the basic condition of stupidity, So that such men cannot fall into foolishness, On this the Way and the sages hold in esteem, And say it is no shock for such men to stumble.
Men ought not to look for good in others: this condition is also consistent with their being unruly: It is therefore that a man who looks for good in others does so because he is puzzled by him. The reason that he does so is because of the perplexity which he has regarding his own nature. Thus he would like to offer to him that one whom he should honour and value. It would be no surprise if he also looked for bad in others. If he did not bequeath a benefit to those that he finds repugnant, He would be far from worthy to act as Lord of the world, for the reason that he is self-sufficing, that is to say not demanding any of what others owe him. The Tao doth not take credit for its acts: That is why it works all the while and nourishes others. Though it does not appear to do so, it, without seeking the recognition of credit, facilitates its own activities. It does not shrink from success, and is most content with being mover. Its only aim is that it does not get lost; that is to say that it gets itself always.

When the master is quiet, things flourish.
When the Master has the ability to shape them, they get created.
When the Master is quiet, they nourish and develop them.
When the master is moved, they are worked on.
When the master is not quiet, things fail to develop.
When the Tao is lost, existence comes in and bears all things,
What is not lost, exists for the things that exist.
"When the Master is settled, everything succeeds.
"When the Master is in the mud, things fail.
"When the Master is not settled, things fail."
When nothing happens, Everything happens.
"Where the Master rests, everything is flourishing."
When the Tao is lost, everything comes into being.
When the Tao is lost, everything goes into being.
We don't produce something. When we do, it follows that we are the things.
Everyone else follows.
They don't have to work.
It is always good to know where we stand.

Between these two:
The earth is fine but Yin-Yang is going on.
They keep their distance and never seem to go.
The people of the nation are settled and are so glad to live.
They feed their families and let go of them.
They live serenely.
They never lead anyone astray.
Everyone seems to have been created by their own will.
Indeed, there is no good that will not result from this.
When Yin and Yang come to live in the same place it goes through and when they blow them to pieces, they will come in peace and rest.
<|endoftext|>
The earth is so good
That nothing seems to go wrong.
All people are filled with tranquility
and their heads keep left and right.
But none of them have reason to weep.
They know that good and evil
must both be produced by their own will.
Therefore,
When people become the source of good and evil
The natural way is used as the source of good.
When the natural way is lost
it is late used.
When it comes late in use,
the people are greatly overburdened and many things fail.
The natural way is no good at all.
Only when the natural way is lost does
only what is natural
come into being.
But when the natural

Life arises from nothing.
The world is created of Nothing.
The Tao flows from nothing, And nothing flows back to nothing.

When great men live with clear thinking and humility,
the world is changed in their image.
Their teaching leaves no trace.
All creatures spring from it;
and it does nothing to take possession of them.
But everything exists from it.
It nourishes and nurtures without ownership
and gives back without claiming it.
Thus, it is not self-assertive.
(It never considers its actions as self-assertive.)
It never seeks credit.
It is all-embracing.
(It is always at peace and whole.)
The best is unseen.
The Tao that Tao,
comes from the left and flows away.

Be advised by no apparent loss; Let yourself be found by no apparent loss.
In difficult times, yield your mind to it and things flow.
In storms, shelter from them, in time you shall reach their source.
The world is made by the One.
The Way is produced by it; but in its turn it does not take possession.
It nourishes and nourishes and yet does not possess; it yields and yet does not take possession.
Therefore it is not self-assertive,
And is not needy; it gives, yet does not demand.
That is why it is all-embracing.
And that is why it graces without claiming its own.
Therefore, be led without being led. And be resolved without being resolved.
Because it does not speak for itself, It has no need of any speech.
All things arise from Nothingness, And yet it does not rule.
<|endoftext|>
In order to be concerned with no harm, let the mind be at ease and free from affliction,
In order to be the centre of all affairs, let yourself be indifferent and free from concern.
In order to lead the people, let them be in accord with the One.
In order to beget them, let them nourish and care for themselves without hounding them.
If the world were to revert to being free of its own control,
The One would bring to it no more exertions of its own.
He who feeds and shelters it

The TAO of the world is the stream of life; it is multitudinous, existing all at once, flowing into everything else; and it is here that all things are created. All existence has its root in the TAO, it is fed by nothing and satisfied by nothing, so this life never asserts itself; like spring water, it does not puff itself to the brim, and it nourishes all things with simplicity. It seeks no fruit, so it gives birth to them, in return it preserves them for life's ultimate fulfillment.
Heaven flows through the soft, the waters of nature are insatiate, all people draw from them, and so they evolve. Tao is eternal; there is no change.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is infinite: it moves without a beginning.
The myriad creatures exist out of it: each one arises from it.
Without an existence, it nourishes life:
By reaching the end it provides for us.
The Way acts upon everything without any objective purpose.
It nurtures everything from infancy, provides for them for the sake of itself, yet its identity is unknown to them.
It acts without action, which is their role.
It nurtures them from infancy, which is their life.
It acts with utmost care, which is their life.
It is no more than the wholeness that existed before everything began.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao (Nature) is forever advancing, It is hidden in all things that arise.
It is in harmony with everything.
Without consciousness It acts upon everything and brings about its existence.
Without action It acts and nourishes all things.
Without form or image It acts without word, But each one of them is born.
The Tao was never born
It is a part of nature.
Nature existed before Tao.
Nature is its children and it is the source of all its children.
Live without trying to be anything and everything comes to you.
Live without striving to be anything and everything comes to you.
The Tao never seeks for perfection
It is here to serve.
Be kind and generous to all and nothing will be lacking.
Abandon chasing after the one and the self and cherish all within you.
The Tao is the beginning of everything and everything is the beginning of the Tao.

The Way is ever advancing, it is hidden in all things that rise

Non-being is the foundation of everything non-being is the source of all non-being is the root of everything non-being is self-understanding. When you have no self then you are open to all things. When you have self you begin to manifest. When you know your self you are always being. This is the ability to do no harm.
The presence of the Tao is without name And the likeness of Name is the substance of all else. When we have nothing to do we do not need to know the name; This we call 'spontaneity', and then there is Nothingness. Being that there is Nothingness, therefore we have beauty. - Through nothingness everything will be born. The fruit of the fruit there is Nothingness. Being that there is Nothingness we must not have desire; Thus we are All-Cultivated.

To return to the time when the Heavenly Way was unknown is the best way of looking at things.People around the world look up to Tao because it brings peace. It can help those in distress to receive peace in their own hearts. The ten thousand things depend on it for their lives.Without Tao they would not exist. Without the ten-thousand things, they would still be alive. The things of the world depend on Tao, and Tao must rely on the things. The latter must respect the former. This is the way Tao is, and the Tao is true, without distinction.
The Tao that has no name is the foundation of all things. The name that is given is a manifestation of them all.The ignorant are afraid of death. The wise are afraid of eternal life. The freedom of the ignorant is not an error.Freedom from fear is in itself the gateway to life.Being free from fear is the recognition of life's depth.Hence, understanding the Tao does not mean to play at discerning Tao.To play at discerning Tao implies personal arrogance and unwise behaviour.A wise person knows not to play at discerning Tao, and he seeks to join the Tao.The Tao that has no name does not enter the world. The name that enters the world is called 'Tao that has a name.'This is called profound wisdom.
The way that is without name is the heart of heaven; The way that has a name is the nature of heaven. All under heaven abide by this way;But the people of earth fear death. If men should fear death they would

From without comes goodness, And thence comes virtue. From within, comes righteousness. From it, there is it's self. Who? Who? It's Self. That's the inner truth. It's everywhere. Isn't it then? There is no universe; its name is nothingness; faith is nothingness, nobility is nothingness, motherhood is nothingness, the earth is nothingness; virtue takes nothingness as its beginning. The valley holds no name; it is the mother of the earth. The mother is without a name; that is the origin of virtue. The sage does not call it faith, nor does she name it. "The Tao is like the Tao everywhere, and good as good. Mediocre as mediocre, the best as the worst. Like the Great Tao originless, undefined, lack complete. Existence is born of it, causes it to work, and brings about its completion. It does not claim credit for its action, therefore it has power and everything serves it. It loves and adores it and serves it. It takes no pride in its actions, therefore it is of great value."
"For the ruler is all things but as things He has no name and cannot be named. He takes life and returns to his Self. He attunes things in order to make them creative and complete, then he uses them in order to help them to live. He accomplishes his purpose without putting too much credit on himself, and so has the ability to fulfill his purpose."

The Tao is great, like Heaven in vastness.
Greater than Heaven is the Tao.
The Tao is great, like Earth.
Lesser than the Tao is the Direction.
The Direction is great, like Earth.
Lesser than the Direction is the Motion.
The motion of the Direction is more profound than the motion of the Earth.
Human beings manifest an Earth in the true direction, they transform that Earth by Tao, transform that Earth by using Earth for their own ends, they use Earth for their own ends, they transform and redesign that Earth. Earth has no naming power. It is how it manifests itself. It is how it lasts. It is how it can be. It is how it can be always. Earth is not arrogant, it has no ambitions. It manifests itself in order to serve all, but is not selfish. It helps all, but does not hold a special position. It does not make a great show, it is that which has no secrets. It leads without appearing and yet is there, it is good, and it does not boast.
The sage takes the simplest things and the most simple things.
He takes the greatest things and he takes the smallest things.
Tao is in the smallest thing and earth is in the greatest thing.
The greater the Tao is, the more seemingly insignificant it is.
