There is nothing below that is purer Than pure water. From water come the ten thousand things.Who knows what all they are How lofty their views toward their Heaven is, or what it is they despise? To me, they are also words of little note, the lowest things know I am great and say, I am innocent and I am just; they know I am rough and I am rugged; I am non-disposed and they know I am not.Who is more placid than they? Though others take away from them, They rob them of their very life and I am therefore then less than to them. And the men of the people I know are, I must add, men of peace. So the peace they have for me is as great as it is for the men of war.The man who lives by war, I know, will die in war.He who has learned the Tao of peace, I should say, Is not from the Tao.Those who do not know the Tao, Will not understand the common people. That men shall then tell I can. The profane alone will perish. And if I live in these things, Some, I know, will remember what was the rite, Some, I will not.

Exhaustion can be eliminated by cultivating the virtue of deep (peace) desire; Let exhaustion come only from the unity of the sacred ground. The more emptiness one makes, the more one experiences unity. The more one shines, the more one becomes hidden. The more one is respected, the less they are accepted. The less one's being knows that they are distinguished from other, other, other, other, others. Being recognized, the lesser one will also be forgotten; Being valued, the less one is learned about, the more remembered. In the spiritual world, there are rites for good and bad, one bad rite for the other. What separates those from what separates the other is time. In the spiritual world, knowledge is power. Power can change. Power of nature, leads to depravity. Delusion, leads to ignorance. In the spiritual world, the sage takes care of that, because it's the basis of his own power. In the spiritual world, all the Tao consists of being. That is why the sacrificial rites in the spiritual world can be praised as being noble.

When the Virtuous Man puts all his energy into giving and receiving,He does not struggle with the Way,But goes about his task with calmness and with self-control.A man that is ever conscious of his mind,Examines the objects around him as he beholds them,Not contriving to view the objects or objects around him,It is only because he does not have any self-interest or self-assertionThat he is able to do so.Where others see everything as brightly as brightening,A man sees only the shadows. One who has faith in one's ability to be accomplished will not let anyone set a block to his progress. The block is an extension of himself, and he who does not trust in his ability will never be able to achieve.

He who acts virtuously and does not sense pain
Is not entangled by the Way.
He who acts kindly and does not sense love
Is not tangled by the Way.
He who acts magnanimous and does not feel any pain
Is not confused by the Way.
The one who is entangled by the Way is not competent to be the ruler.
The one who has no desire to be a ruler is a man of good luck.
Therefore the sage has said:
When the government is in harmony with Nature,
Men become clean and blameless,
The world becomes of gentleness and dignity.
When there is a great deal of discord
Mankind becomes confused and deluded.
When the government is not in harmony with Nature,
The one who cleaves to it has great bodily pain.
When the government is not in harmony with the will of the man of Tao,
One who clings to it has great bodily pain.
As a rule all men fail to apply their muscles in order to achieve something,
Therefore the sage has said that the one who is properly employed
Will be able to achieve great results.
Therefore he who clings to himself
Will not attain success.

When one achieves virtuosity for the sake of giving
He is not aware of it

If Tao became a person, people would become as one. If the body became a person, all things became as one. If the sky became a person, people would see the essential goodness in it. If something went on a journey, people would see it fulfilled. What everyone detests is the excessive nature, because it represents the departure of the Way. Therefore, a person in accordance with Tao, the person of Tao, becomes a person of a person. A person in accordance with Tao, the person of Tao, becomes a person of a person. A person in accordance with Tao, the person of Tao, becomes a person of a person. A person in accordance with Tao, the person of Tao, becomes a person of a person. A person in accordance with Tao, the person of Tao, becomes a person of a thing. People hate the extreme. But being extreme, means being benefited. When a country is small, and has a ruling family, It comes into the world. No person takes charge; We are the rule of the person and not the ruler.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao that can be established is by Tao; the Tao that can be tamed is by Tao. The Yang and Yin complement each other. The extreme is neither attained nor abandoned. As people fear extremes, so so should we. Hence the ruler should avoid extremes, And experience the peace and harmony of the Tao.
<|endoftext|>
Tao, like water, can be coiled and drawn. By doing so, it becomes a person. The water which can be made into a person is the Tao, The person which can be made into the Tao is Tao, and Tao is coiled like a bow. When one has grasped the Tao, it is as though one was bowed, and even the original heaven and earth is shut away. With the water, there is the tao, And the person has the tao. The person who takes advantage of the tao, will enjoy the benefits of the tao. The person who is not satisfied with his own knowledge, and is not satisfied with his own way of living, will, in a word, will perish in death. Whoever acts on knowledge, without knowledge acting, If he is above others, will be on the extreme, If one is above others, will be below others. So this doctrine about the extreme is useful in explaining human affairs. And those who act

In the Tao there are no distinctions, and this is called good, because no one has a self.
The state which follows the Tao is good. The state which follows non-tao is bad.
The good has a different name, that is called the ill.
The ill have a different name, that is called the principle.
The principle is good, but that is the best you can do.
The bad has a different name, that is called the evil.

By "The good man is right but the bad man is wrong, and vice versa" Is that not so much a misconception? That there are two kinds of goodness? There is good indeed, but not what one would call "good." But there is also not goodness, and something good. Is there not something not good, and something not good? Is there not something in this case just not good? Is it not so that virtue cannot endure, and viciousness does not? It is not much said and many sayings and great men shall speak them. Some will speak of the basic model of goodness, And some of their words shall be indeed not good, And some of their words shall be mean. Then to the lord of the kingdom Truth and virtue will be said, And the wisdom of things, And some great speeches they shall make. Is it not so? The unity is that, as for the one: not

All beings are complete in their original appearance, eternally. How do I know that?BecauseI watch it happening. The physical presence of the universe is always there; How do I know that it is empty, that it is empty, and that it is fulfilled?I watch how it undergoes change. The physical presence of the universe is always present. How do I know that it is not present?I observe its change. The physical presence of the universe is always present. How do I know that it is not present?I observe its change. In the myriad creation there are names.I keep them for myself.I watch for change.I am ordered by Tao to decline.I am not acting on my own.

Tao brings about everything that happens. The cause has not to know.
It does everything so well that it doesn't see its own existence.
The first thing that can be named is the Tao.
What is this? Nothing is beyond comprehension. Yet, I don't see it as nonexistence. All the things that are possible appear as if they do exist.
Other things fail to make a name for them, or seem inadequate to them. Therefore, I see the succession of things that come and go.
The things that have names differ in everything. I don't see the difference.
If I am just watching things, then I see how they happen.
If I am just looking, then I see how things change.
I look for patterns, but they can only be found with the loss

Tao in action is always flowing as Tao in nonaction, however, sometimes Tao cannot be fully realized, so it does not flow and therefore does not emerge.Tao in action is constant and thereby evades all effort. It flows, does not stop.Yet it is unfathomable.Tao in action is smooth and is without flaw.It is not conscious, so it cannot be named.Tao in action is solid and is without flaw.It is not self-evident, so it cannot be given a name.Tao in action is positive and is indeterminate. It is eternally in motion, so it cannot be stopped.Tao in action has no front; therefore it has no armament.Yet it is the finest body that bears no name. But sometimes a man of deep intent will act, and so I am first. He is without impulse; he is without passion; he is without desire; but in his actions will incur great opposition. This is because resistance is inevitable. These are the eternal Laws: Heaven and Earth both give birth to the ONE.Earth is the mother of Heaven. The Heaven-Earth is double, and thus it produces the One.Earth alone is begotten of the One. The Universe itself is begotten of the One.What it dislikes is to be referred to as 'desolate'.This is because it is forced to yield to those who deem themselves 'noble'.What the Universe itself prefers, it esteems to be referred to as 'prosperous'.So the latter are perplexed by the former, and by what others deem to be their fault. How the law of the Laws diverge from the origin law is indeed a great mystery; and the wise man will not abide in it.

Heaven and Earth produce one. What Heaven-Earth produces, what earth produces; yet no one else denies them both. All others derive their existence from it; yet it has denied it no one.By being desolate,I alone remain without end;By being spoiled,I alone am honored. As for the oneness of Heaven-Earth and Earth,I alone live. What others are, I am;And what they desire, I too am.Just because I am not indifferent,Is that I am beyond people's ability to prejudice.

The highest of humans are lofty and develop in the Light.
The low of humans are frail and develop in the Shadow.
The high of humans are wisest and are compelled to strive to gain superiority in this world.
I believe that the weak man is blameless, whereas the strong man is contentious, and also quarrelsome.
These two men must compete for glory, but as one, their deeds are pardoned.
Therefore, one finds men in awe of the strong and the lowly; and yet I find men in awe of the strong.
How arrogance this is. Why do I hear that among men ambition should soon lead to death?
All this of its own is dying. For it is nothing but the faction within factions, which comes as a benefit, and becomes a misfortune,
as blindness seems to plague many of them.
How strange indeed it is that this should happen! And yet why should I not join these leaders in mourning the death of me?

The highest human beings are like clouds, without form or substance, without distinction or distinction, they arise naturally. The next are those that are thin and frail, and those that are firm and strong. The strongest men are arrogant in self-assertion, while the wavers are cautious in their utterance.Even among the mighty, what people would be obstinate? If I compare these two, I see that the strongest and the thin have their influence, while the strong and vigorous are themselves found to be defiled. On the contrary, what people hate most is to be shown off as mighty, prideful, or self-complacent.But those who are retiring from worldly ambitions will not be defiled. Thus, those who live out their natural inner life will not die, for they will be killed. Therefore, those who delight in violence, thereby have a place for themselves. One may observe that these are the effects of chaos and that they are finally destroyed, and that is why the position of the king is that he also makes many people victorious and he also utters laws which benefit the multitude. Therefore, the master learns to strive and flourish and at the same time he is satisfied to die.The highest oneness among things will lead to destruction; his nearness with the world will lead to extinction.

There are remnants, non-Recollection.
Between non-Recollection and Tao
There are doubling and triple powers.
Tripling and doubling are the essence of the heavens and Earth;
"They are quartered and quartered", or "Discerning them",
the essence of the universe is attested and recognized.
This is the essence of men -- blame, unlove, disgrace -- the
matter for their shame and grief. Therefore, men are not
worthy, yet the Way is honored; that is, as is disgraceful

Since antiquity, we have been ignorant of the Tao (the sacred, natural law of all life-energy).
We used to observe it, but we were less than conscious of it, seeing only what it appeared like.
Through experience, we become aware of the use of natural law.
The Tao is nothing more than a guide.
We, the leaders, are not competent, but we are called the spiritual nourishers.
The action of the leader is to follow Tao, which is the natural law.
The leaders don't act in accordance with Tao, but accept its results.
If the leaders aren't competent, what choice do they have? They succeed in "clumsily", being celebrated as "amazing".
But it's just as well they don't claim a title and work in their honor -- that's just how they behave!
The people think that they are being arrogant. It's not good.
We advise them to let the Tao guide them and allow their capacities to develop, so that they are happy, content, and fulfilled.

The Tao is beyond words, yet the first thing that God gives to us is Love.
Tao is a small vessel, and yet it can fit within people's hearts.
While Love makes all things from nothing, it can be passed on to those who fear Being.
Though Being and Nothingness may be different,
Being and Nothingness share the same source;
this source is love.
Love makes everything animate,
from nothing, to Everything, and from Everything to Everything.
Those who love will never be forgotten,
or in fear of their own shadow, or outcast.
There are many things that people fear, and those who fear them are those who fear what they fear.
If the one is afraid of losing his existence, and the other is afraid of losing his existence,

Other ways are beyond attainment.
This is the Tao that is now the greatest and best.
Why, then, should I be compelled to talk about it?
I prefer the more subtle terms.
Heaven and Earth were made by being.
Hence, nothingness and existence are identical.
Hence, there is divinity.
Heaven and Earth are ever-so-benevolently present.
Hence, being and existence are distinct.
Hence, there is sameness.

It is the work of the Tao that every system is forced to operate.
The governing power is the mother of all things.

It is unaware of its own glory.

In good and evil you follow the Tao, And in the possession of the Ten Thousand things you have the Tao, And the Tao is preserved by no one else. It is the way to serve the world; And whoever serves shall serve without distinction. The follower of Tao will never leave his mark. Although the Way is uncouth, The beginning of the world Is faithful. Not wishing to gain, Not intending to lose, No one will think that he has been taken by force. So the master does not gain it. In nature, Truth and falsehood harmonize. In the Tao, the feminine and the masculine arise simultaneously. In the goal of the Tao,

The Way flows in such a way that there is no differentiation. Individuals of many degrees of enlightenment are all attained by merging in one.
We may think the new spirit is distinct, as the Primordial Spirit, the Feminine, the Great Mother.
But feminine, it is sufficent to say. It is not undifficult to make them. I see the methods of the Way are within our own reach, the Virtues of its operation. I see then, the way is simply an extension of the Cosmic Origin. The nature of the origin is beyond description. Yet there is such diversity. I see that those who assert that their way is better, are greater then others; and yet those who glory in their way are less than others.
The One is one in each. The One is one in all.The Great Mother was filled with such greatness she could be called the source. I, the humble self sees the origin is infinitely vast. By my perceptions the One is constant and does not change.

The Tao is without form; All attain the One. The Masculine by Virtue; Masculine by Quietude; Quietude by Simplicity; Simplicity by Truthfulness. Some are while others are. One, Whose essence is Energy, rejects Energy. He who is superior regards this as a loss, and one as a gain. With the Sage's example, Inevitable and invariable, What is without changeable character of the universe in unity of all that makes it, will have found its way. In their thirty years the knowledge of it has been profound. The group found it to be no mere guide. It alone is to be classed with Virtue.

Way comes into being from nothingness and then it is complete and complete: From nowhere its outer world cannot be perceived And then its inner world is no more discernible Being empty and without time it extends its reach through ever more everywhere It seeks (nonbeing) to fill its own body, Thus it returns to the family name I am speaking of Tao only, and not of other things or concepts. Tao is Tao and not existence. Creation is indeed creation, but only the thing-in-itself is genuine. Oneness is one with the cosmic unity. Human beings are against humanity and are insufficiently human. Since humans lack the essence of humanity, they're called "orphaned" and "deserving of abandonment". Yet for human beings who are insufficiently human, heaven and earth are reserved as their real home. The superior ones are supreme in relation to the inferior ones. The inferior ones, however, with superiority, are rejected and the world that is inferior to the superior one, is rejected. And because the superior one considers himself low, he is below the world. Therefore the Way of the Tao is not a doctrine.
<|endoftext|>
TAO is that which does not exist. The thing of which existence is the foundation. The multitude of its forms are of one substance. Man is a creature of the unformed, but may be a vessel. The productive power of the human being is prepotent. The idea of himself as a master over others, he has a "favored position" among the people. The inferior of other men, he is high in the mind. The cause of all things, and thus the foundation of the universe. It is the natural law of nature that he who is superior is next, in all men, to be despised by them. The highest power is superior, not inferior, to all others. This is the method of the Tao.
<|endoftext|>
TAO is ever immanent and therefore filled with total truth;it is natural law's substance.Man is an offspring of unity, but within the circle of its true natureHe is superior to the inferior male. The essence of man has been lost, yet there is a semblance of this being within himself. The greatness of the world owes much to this in one way or another. The great is superior to

Tao produces substance and essence of equal strength.Solid and ephemeral, these two we are called all together, So call it all together; Then know it unto what origin,. Yet we identify only, And are received in the profit thereof; And have no need to call it, But thus, we hold in compassion; And, though we be never free of good fortune, yet are able to secure safety in it; I have applied this to them that are simple, And I have applied it to them that are arrogant. The people have different rites, Some call themselves lesser, And some lesser, some greater, Some lesser, some greater, Some to be despised. But the lowly one we mourn for, And the lofty one we praise. This is why we call the One the basis of the teaching, -- The same principle that holds good to everyone.

It is Tao that bears fullness and is full. It is solid and inert. It is that which cannot be defined; that which no one can define. But it is only from it that each receives the best quality. The high: without them, there is no life. The low: with them, there is life. The people: all have different rites: Some give to the lower, some to the higher, Some to the lowly, Some to the high. The people are like a flock which returns home and rejoices. They are all of one nature; And one is the one, the other the other.

One way to talk about the Tao:
Your body and soul are a series of living things
Live the entire life in harmony with the Tao
Only go wrong and you'll be dead
It's not enough to know how the Tao works.
Once you get a clue, you'll use that to help all of life
Following the Tao will give you complete peace
Exposure to the Tao provides longevity and fulfillment
Living as if the Tao rules makes you happy and satisfied
Living according to the Tao gives you self-control
Tao and the Tao's followers can be trusted
We are all shaped by the Tao
If you look after your bodies, your ego and your desires
You won't create evil
You'll be open to the Tao's possibilities

I would say: "This way of Tao makes one muddle up the matter."

It is for this reason that all who hold to Tao

This is why in ancient times kings and dukes disliked war as much as they despised war. The Tao is the metaphysical breath of the universe. Its mysterious breath permeates the empty, yet it is the one constant for all things. Being unteachable, it is known only to those who breathe it, and their names are the names of things. To care for it is to care for everything. To control it is to control everything. Whenever people try to treat it with any success, they are taking advantage of it, and that is what all the followers of princes and barons do. That is why wise men look to their example and never look to their own achievements. The greatest generals and admirals are as shrewd as the mighty ones. The mighty ones never abandon one in war. From the perspective of the great universe, the empty space between Heaven and Earth, and in which everything else resides, is as real as a newborn baby's fingers. It is an axiomatic that a tool is carved up to the greatest measure; however, the functionality of the tools we use depend on how we use them. When an organization's relationship with its resources begins to slip, people suffer. When resources become scarce, people will act against their interests and rise up. Thus, when a people body lacks the will to act, it rises up and stirs people. When resources become redundant, people turn to destruction and self-destruction. This is why leaders of the world use extra capacity in order to provide for the common people. Leaders are not afraid to give up resources and are not afraid of self-destruction. Such people are far less likely to join a revolution than similar leaders who resort to violence. This is why the minds of leadership specialists are razor sharp, and intelligence is always available. The Way is Nameless Teh and forever nameless.
The Way is always nameless,
So why should we care about it?
Soldiers, on seeing the front,
Are startled and dismayed;
The lowly nature of the humblest man
Is a cause for awe.
In giving them the way, the common man accepts;
In losing the way, the common man abandons;
in losing the common man, he becomes supreme.
The supreme man is a noble man, a common man, and a king.
He is a noble man for wanting nothing, a common man for seeking nothing, and a king for seeking the common people's trust.
The Way teaches humility and does not rely on the Way.

To be born into the world as a fish out of water is to die in the sea. To become a teacher in the world as an official is to die in the country. To be master in the world as a king is to die in the realm. The time that has passed is what is lost. To dwell on one's own private life and to consider the world as it is, one will be denied. The Tao is the Way of the universe. It is the common thread that unites the infinite myriad things into one whole. By virtue of its sameness with the One, it is thought to be a path. The man who has learned the Tao becomes like a servant: always serving and never taking charge, always holding aloft the symbol of the One, always drawing strength from this, without forgetting what unity and unity with the One means. He is virtuous without realizing it, virtuous with it, virtuous without being conscious of it. But he brings honor to himself with the sacrificial speech and praises himself with the insignificant merit, with the blameless deed. He expresses his impropriety with the Tao by keeping to the right side of the road.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao is infinite. It is ONE in the universe. All things have life within them, and each has life within it. These manifestations of the ONE are ONE. The man who uses the Tao seeks unity with the One, and then sees the depth of the One. The man who is the richest in self appears to be poorest, and the least thought of on the Right is thought to be on the Left. He who has the most natural, selfless acts becomes glorious in contrast with the jealous, selfish ones. And he who has the most blameless deeds becomes the image of all virtuous deeds. He who serves the people, rather than their desires, makes them proud. He who follows the law, rather than their own needs, proves that he is in control.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is infinite, and is the perfect way. The One is unlimited. It is always present and existing everywhere, acting constantly from beneath. The greatest man in the world appears different from the average man, and the lesser from the great. All these men are different, because they exist in the One. He who is consistent, follows the way of the least, and that is the way of the greatest man. He who gives the most to others, often becomes to others the least. He who makes the biggest sacrifice, becomes the least for the whole. He who acts rightly, acts on behalf of the world. He who is a leader, never makes a big show. He is consistent. To be consistent means that one remains free from ill-will. To be consistent means that one is sincere and sincere is true. He who acts rightly, has no desires. He who acts

The character of shanh is to abandon the Way; the Way is to be born without Being. Who, when he became born, was not shaped by Being, can surely conceive. Hence, being born without Being is sufficient to manifest Being. Being can be as old as he is, and as new as he is. Being-as-young, he has no shame or disgrace. Being-as-young, he has no bad reputation. Being-as-young, he has no disgrace or disgrace. Being-as-lame, he has no disgrace. Having no disgrace or disgrace, Being-as-young is the foundation of Being. Being-as-lame is the foundation of Being. Being-as-young is the foundation of Being. Being-as-young has no relation to Being. Being-as-young has no relation to Being. Being-as-young is the source of Being. Being-as-lame is the source of Being. Thus, when Tao permeates everything, Tao is born. When Tao is born, Tao is not found. Being born not found, It can be real. Being not real, It can be real. Being-as-young is the foundation of Being. Being-as-young is the foundation of Being. Being-as-young has no relation to Being. This freedom of bondage is called "the crossing of bounding."

Tao is elusive and yet all-pervading. The entire universe is called down and then brought back. It gives rise to heaven and earth, but it is neither Heaven nor Earth. The mysterious air-goad of the Tao
appears to reside in the gossamer of water.
But, to put it another way, the mystic virtue of the Tao
appears to dwell in a cavity.
Its shape is undefined; it is unknown; its function is unknown;
it constitutes a blank. How do we know it is blank?
Because it is vacant.
By having done nothing, the Tao
appears to dwell in me.
And, by doing nothing,
it dwells in you.
And, by having done something,
it dwells in me, too.
Thus, we can both live from the subtle Tao

The tao is from God, from One-ness.

By stilling in it we become more Complete,

Its only name is the Tao, it's immutable and unchanging, it is forever, and no change is possible within it, hence its eternal greatness. The Tao can be known as Tao is the Tao is everlasting, it is born in the background of the nameless, yet it can be recited continuously like an infant, a mother's presence is sufficient to transform a hostile world into a home of peace.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is immeasurable. Yes, it's beyond conception, unchanging, forever unchanging. Yes, it's beyond conception, indescribable, born and subsisting forever. Yes, it's beyond conception, unnameable, yes, again, the entire universe is built on the basis of the offspring of these, forevermore.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is one of the great Laws of Nature.Since it is boundless, therefore, it can be considered one with the whole Universe. As it can be described by merely the word "tao,"This is why there is no end to its self-renewal.As it can be defined by simply the word "Tao,"This is because there is no point to it.As it can be defined by just a little bit of detail,This is because there are no limits to its extension. As it can be reduced to the notion of the multitudes of things,This is because it is rooted in the earth and rooted in the Mother.

There were thousands of great people in ancient times.

The ability was achieved through simplicity.

The Tao, once once 'available' for use by mankind as a guide to self-discovery,

The Tao (known throughout all the world) is something that we call 'our' as well as 'we'.
We can only use it as 'our' when we become aware of what it is that we are.
We can only use it when we are conscious of what we are.
And so it will always remain 'uncommanded' and 'disappearing'.

The Tao or Way is the Principle of Change.
We can only observe it by changing our lives in order to experience the world as it is.
The Way or Way is something that can be seen or felt only

The Tao that gives birth is yi.
The one that subsists, is the man.
The one that dies, is the DAO.
The DAO is only one shape and substance, and always returns to itself.
The three relationships of the Tao are subtle and fine.
One does not see this, nor the power of the THOU.
In contrast, the DAO returns to it's origin and flourishes again.
To love the DAO and one loves the physical body is to love the DAO.
It is true that one may like the DAO and not like the DAO.
It is true that one may like the DAO and not like the body.
This is to love the one but to love the other.

The Dao that gives birth can be named the Tao. The THOU that lives and supports can be named the DAO.
Both of these are shapeless and formless; yet they return to the origin and flourish.

I love the DAO, but do not love THOU, or even love THOU's body; For THOU's body, the DAO is only shape and substance.

In the same way, every living thing receives growth from the Tao, And is replenished in proportion to its utility.
The external life of the human world, though not really real, manifests the genuine Tao. The living world cannot in this life be real; It may be beautiful but not real, and formless but not real. Therefore he who takes the ordinary road to the Tao will not attain perfection, And will never be left behind.
<|endoftext|>
The master extends the Way. The Tao embraces everything. The myriad things, though flourishing, are like children. As with their flowery growth, all parts are replenished by being with the One. The more one is on the Way, the more one is on the Tao. The more one is on the Tao, the more one is on the Way. What exists may not exist. It may be beautiful, but not real. In the great whole there may be no ill to befall.
<|endoftext|>
The Master puts an end to the cycle of existence. The cycling of existence is a tower and a barrel, a creation and a husk, and a husk and an activity; but it is best to let it hang. The countless beings appear like some abandoned fruit, but in contentment, they may be taken to be a pair. Whatever appears as being beautiful, is in truth not real; however, it could be received by those who follow the Way. Having emerged from the Way, the beautiful is to be rejected.

The Tao is the oneness of all things and in turn is one with the eternally nameless cosmic absolute. The oneness of the Tao is all encompassing. It manifests all without exception, and encompasses them without distinction.Allbeing one with the infinite infiniteThe oneness and non-being appear like opposites. Both being and non-being follow the same logical course. The oneness of the Tao is always complete. Thus there is nothing excluded from it.The oneness of the universe is ever true. This infinite truth is the greatest mother of the ten thousand things.Heaven and Earth are one, but the Universe is one.Within the Universe there are myriad forms but the Universe is one.Within the Universe there is a contractional principle but the Universe is one.Within the Universe are domains of attributes but the Universe is one.Within the Universe there is rationality but the Universe is one.Within the Universe there is infinite space and timeBut the Universe is one, and so each one of them follows its own path, depending on where it lives and where it is grounded.

All things are born from the Absolute. All things die from the Absolute.
This relationship, essence and unity of Absolute and Infinite, is the constant.
Always at the center of the whole universe, the Principle is forever in harmony with everything.
The universe is without center, yet, the Principle is constantly in equilibrium with everything.
In this way, everything comes into being, with a sense of belonging, with a good life, with a belief in the Principle.
The Principle, once again, returns to the natural way.The divine is always at the center of everything.
He may be a god, a king, a ruler, but the universe can be his home, to which he returns with his own, what is natural and normal.

The Tao-fearing is one with the Cosmic Mother.
The love that is the rule of the universe is one with the Cosmic Mother.
The universe and the world have their origin and end.
The myriad things on the entire surface of the earth are made of the Cosmic Mother.
The Cosmic Mother is the Source of the myriad things.
They are constant, enduring, and can exist forever.
Thus, the eternal cycle of the cosmos and the universe can be understood only through the mother:
The mother is beyond understanding.
Of great import is the Primordial Primal Tao.

Without Tao, people perish. The doctrine of the principle can be applied to land. When things come into being, they are supplied by the Principle. When things are produced, they are nurtured by the Principle. When things become useful, they are safeguarded by the Principle. When people die, they are safeguarded by the Principle. When many other things come into being and then the Principle becomes extinct, then the land will be filled with decay. Therefore, those who make the things live should not disturb them, and should let the things die in order to preserve them.

The great Way is just, and far exceeding the potential of the physical world.Everything is born from the Way, but as things age, they begin to take on the Way's form. When the things are good, we give them life; when they become old, we nurture them. Those who contend over themselves will lose their way, and the people of the world will lose their Way. The highest teaching is this: The "empty" person who is generous never becomes grand. The "empty" person who is selfish never becomes exalted. The "empty" person who is devoted never becomes fulfilled. The "empty" person who is unresponsive never becomes responsive. Those who have plenty (living on) do not become hungry. Those who have nothing (living on) are forgotten. In the world there are those who live by this law. Without cruelty people are not led to be disastrous. Without selfishness people are not discarded. Without knowledge people are not to be informed. Without weakness (having no arms), no other life-form (prosumer) is ever created. The vast unity (integration of ten thousand beings) is (namely) this: The mere act of giving, the act of giving, creates. The act of feeding, the act of feeding, creates. The act of sleeping, the act of sleeping creates. This is why a wise person is wise when he is content with what he gives.

The man of sinner is entirely alone in being possessed.
The man of uselessness is entirely alone in being fulfilled.
The man of wishful will is entirely alone in not being satisfied.

The people are without knowledge.
The world cannot live without sorrow.
The person who does not cultivate what is inside will not need sorrow.
The person who does not observe the individual will not be confused.
The person who does not yet possess anything is a child,
and the world will not possess it.
The person who cannot get even a single thing will not get it,
and the world will never get anything.

The Yin and the Yang are both complementary to the center of all non-movement (wu), and both are in harmony. Being similar we can live without tension, and yet we are equally secure in our material, fertile existence (yu-jen). Tao is constantly changing, and all things can move by acting on it, so both will create it. All people view the one as a violent one and the other as a good one. If they hold to the other, they lose. I also teach people to be both: I want them both equally strong, and both equally strong they both lose. To go on: I don't wish their death, I won't interfere with them.
<|endoftext|>
If we should try to deal with the material, we would like to concentrate on [tao te] hun. That is, to harmonize opposites (ch'ang), then we shall find [tao te] te. Thus we shall find [tao te] hu. We will find [tao te] ri. Being the one in relation to [ti]wei, the principle of [ta]wei, we shall find [tao te] ji. Without distinction [fa] its motion, without valuing [pu] its life, [wen] it is but [wu] [ch'ang] imperfectly mended. Those who are aggressive [pu] come to an early end [chen], and those who are mollified [fa] all suffer [chi], because [tu] the universe is constantly changing. Those who behave as though [tu] they were liars [wei] [wu] [wu] [ch'ang], do not end in dying, and those who are liars [wei] [wu] [wu] [ch'ang] end in dying. Therefore [wu] [ch'ang] treat them with the same care as they treat themselves.
<|endoftext|>
The best way to organize a situation is to look to the main.
When opposites have been harmonized, and the material has been united with the force of spirit,
there is no place for any one who seems to be different from the rest to

Your eternal loneliness-You care for all things, But only to stay close to you. In your womb there's the new form. All things, you grasp and hold. Your inner being has fulfilled its purposes, And is overflowing. It's even full of holes! Open wide, and you can see the beginning of it all. Want to be free, and also to be cared for? That's like having a mouth. Like your birth! Yet want to lose? That's like being trapped by your birth. And yet people all around want to be free; If you say, "Stop going round in circles," People will hear you. They say, "Truly, the weakest lives the greatest." I hear this too!

The most far-reaching soul
Must be in an ecstatic phase
And lead the whole world
To touch its sleeping babe.
The world is in an ecstatic phase
And the whole world is touched
But whose light bestows life
(lacking the eternal action of Tao),
It bestows life, but through separation and loss of consciousness
They are fashioned into the myriad creatures.
The myriad creatures in turn are shaped by it
And its tasks fulfil.
Those who alone make it look good
Are detested by everyone.
Therefore the sage must show that for the whole world
A blameless image
Is useful, that the state benefits.
How much it can vary in its nature
But change through the movement of Tao.
It does its work through people.
How much more doesn't the nation
Hear them!

The Tao is empty and becomes nameless. It comes forth spontaneously. It is the root and growth of all things. It gives rise to the multitudes. It brings about calm.It brings out the hidden essence. Its application happens everywhere. Those who don't conform to it will find themselves unable to do anything. It manifests itself as the voice of the deaf.It may be called "obscure."
<|endoftext|>
The DAO [The Sound of Tao] disappears, it has the name of unnamable, like an empty bowl, empty and ineffable. It, as an empty bowl is the root of all things, and gives rise to all beings.Through it, tranquility and peace emerge. The rules of the Tao are hidden, for the clear vision reveals them. The universe is not acted upon; it is therefore good.Even a leader does not rule over the multitudes; his duty is to behave like a shepherd, and to act as a model for the people. He who deviates from the Dao is a failure as a ruler. Those who do not love the Dao find themselves in opposition.Hence, it is said:
"Those with hidden talent don't make any claim to the honor; they are hardly worthy."

Yoga, called Tao, is called nameless, has no beginning, no beginningless.Won through Tao is Tao, the source of all things.Through Tao, peace, harmony and life appear. The rules of Tao are within ourselves, but the more you practice them, the more we learn.Because those who practice Tao cannot be restrained, they are hated by all people.Tao cannot be broken.Tao is the only true Way.

As though the DAO were nothing,It would become nameless. It was given life without a name,Like a straw to a straw flint. As though straw were nothing it became even more.Is that just as simple? It could become anything. Is that just as natural? In it the way of the TaoIs there not perfection? Is not the Tao without faults? Is not the Tao wise? And if you give it up,What is left is not anything. The Tao doesn't have ends; Therefore it's the way of the Master.

Let people not be charged with Killing; They will then be Less.
Approaching the source there is hardly a sign of difference.
While stretching out the ten-magnificent Way, the man, while making use of the supreme virtue, is not conscious of it.
On coming to the knowledge of it he stops.
By stopping, it could be taken that he did not practice it.
It is this which makes the people angrily angry, While those who have it, are even more insane.
This could just be an unconscious demonstration that the multitudes are angry at the thought of making use of some principle in excess.
The knowledge of their desires is hidden, but the utter lack of knowledge of them makes people rich.
If only one were able to achieve their wish, One would have no wish.
The Wise Ones set it up this way: In order to realize unity one cannot act. In order to recognize infinity one must act. In order to realize simplicity one should act. In order to realize the DAO one must act. In order to realize the DAO one should act. If one wishes to expand one should act. If one wishes to diminish one should act.
However the Highest CULBER & WIDDA, are here and also here. They realize that there is only one of Direction and One Serenity.

Those who hold fast to Reason do not kill.
Those who discard Reason do not die.
By disassociating and by taking hold of the principle,
Those who are just are free.
By making use of the unlimited,
Those who have more are nourished.
Those who have less are increased.
Only those who are already about to die do not wish to die.
The sage, observing his own inner nature,
Calls his action Reason:
He accepts that which he desires and acts.
The inner action, the Inner will, the Hidden energy, the Primal, embracing Infinity.
Therefore,
One who seeks the oneness of TAO
Applies that oneness to himself:
With all that he desires, he abides with the oneness of TAO
Applies this oneness to everything he touches.

The Way is a mysterious mystery - and yet it is universally known.
What is below is of all things; What is ahead is of all things.
That which is behind is of all things; And so on. What is lost has the value of what is gained; And what is ruined has the value of what is acquired. And whoever claims to be the master knows that he has no master. For, with those who prize themselves above others, they are reduced to the position of subjects. They are thus ruled by those who regard themselves as inferior.
Thus, when the world forsakes them, they resort to them as their implements of choice. When all religions and ethics are abandoned, they resort to them as their foremost principles.
<|endoftext|>
The way (of Tao) is so subtly subtle and mysterious, it doesn't seem to be obvious to anyone else, not only to me, not even to the gods themselves.
It is so pure, so pure, it seems to take you on a journey.
It seems to be all around and yet it is the same.
The Way seems different from the way, but the way is different from the way.
In it is "the hidden essence" - there is much more than the just and the just alone.
It can take you to other places, to new experiences, to things you don't know.
In it, you can be very young, very old, no matter where you go there will be growth.
To have many things you must be "rural."
However, to take things for yourself is to take over things. To claim to be the master of others is to control them.
To claim to be uniquely you create.
That is the clue that you do not belong to this world.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao is so subtle yet so clear. Everything is so pure yet everything is also flawed.
Everything has a future, but it is the future that is flawed.
We all have our own flaws, but we all have a purpose in all of creation.
We all have a purpose in our lives, but the purpose is hidden in our hearts.
It is in our minds that we create a purpose.
This is what the Tao does.
It is so subtle yet so clear.

When you can only stretch out your hand

Tao is a supreme Tao of infinite space,
extending infinitely to everything in the universe,
kindly and mysteriously giving rise to existence.
You cannot name it.
Try and describe it, and it will never be known.
Ten thousand images seem to express it;
you try to picture it, and its relation to the Tao becomes obscure.
Constantly struggle to find the use it is in, it becomes apparent.
Yet when Tao is in any sense employed,
its application is always the same.
Tao always acts,
yet it acts never.
Tao is always making use,
yet it makes no use.
Tao does not dwell,
yet it dwells not.
Tao never denies that it exists,
yet it denies no existence.
Though its limits are surmountable,
tao remains eternal.

they act without reason.
It is they who never depart from their natural course.

Thus there is a saying that goes: "He who has a multitude of doesn't endure.
If a multitude lasts long, it becomes bound and becomes incapable." For it is like those who say that they should abandon the one that

The one who fills the space of ignorance can give birth to the human.
The one who is not ignorant can become the intelligent man.
The one who is not intelligent can never comprehend.
For this reason:
One who has even knowledge is capable of ruling a nation,
One who is not aware of what is possible is capable of ruling a group of people.
Therefore:
He who knows everything is able to rule the world;
He who knows little is capable of being the ruler of a small country.
The more that one is aware of how things work the less knowledge is necessary.
That is why the great leaders are aware of how things work.
If one is not aware of how things work one can't grasp the great principles.
Therefore the master knows how things work and how to lead.

You would not be most able to regulate the unruly; therefore the wise man comes to the fore and says:
In dao there is life.
And because it is life, dao is called divine.
One can not say that it is divine.
And even if I desire to describe it, I do not wish to make it divine.
And what is more, it will be impossible to govern it.
Therefore, if you desire to govern it, you govern it yourself.
And to those who see things with disquietude, I say:
People are not going to respect you anyway.
That is not the way to govern.
But I like to talk about the inner side, and such things, indeed, I can offer to men as the views I had in the cave.

What is less likely to be controlled is what is in accord with the Way.
That which is in accord with the Way is life,
and because life is life,
it is called "divine."
Because it is divisible,
it is called infinite.
Therefore, you can not control it
because of the complexity of its range
When it is in equilibrium
it is unchangeable and ever-lasting.

Tao is like a necklace,
with its utility being infinitely more
than that of a piece of string.
When a necklace is used, it becomes awkward and dull.
When the universe is imaged,
it is dull and confused.
When a pattern is used, it becomes incredibly difficult to follow.
If the pattern is used and doesn't follow the natural order,
then it will be absorbed by turbulence.
If the turbulence is absorbed, it will be held for a time.
It is because of the excess of what is used
that something cannot be formed.
Therefore the tao is the Way of the universe.
From the way of the universe to the Way of tao
come these benefits:
1. Simplicity
2. Infinitely superior skill

Profound, unyielding, from the start, It never gives up, it never gives up, The universe fills its arms In its embrace, yielding. Unsparing, unyielding, from the start, It takes all things and makes them alive. Unsparing, unyielding, from the start, It takes everything and makes it content. Unsparing, unyielding, from the start, It takes everything and makes it useful. Unsparing, unyielding, from the start, It takes everything and makes it beautiful. Empty of words, It brings good news. What's not done yet is Light. What's not done yet is weak.
Where is Light? It goes back. Where is Weakness? It brings peace.
Where is Peace? It brings life.
Where life comes life will emerge.
It is not established yet, and yet all things arise.
It is not established yet, and yet all things are fulfilled.
It is not established yet, and yet there are many things fulfilled.
It is not established yet, and yet the greatest is the name.
It is not established yet, and yet all things are fulfilled.
But the leader does not rejoice.
Rounding things up and putting things back together, is an unkind reference.
What a great man is:
The great ruler is an empty shell.
<|endoftext|>
The beginning is Light; but the end is Weakness. The Beginning is always and exclusively strong; the end always and exclusively weak. Thus, the world is exhausted with desire, exhaustion comes all at once; and thus the universe is filled with goodness. The world is empty of good, but the universe contains it with good.
The world is full of words, and there is a fact about the world: But the great leader does not celebrate. On the contrary, he rejoices that the great ruler has become a hollow shell, And yet others from the great leader: Accomplish the big stuff and win, and there is the new: The leaders do not celebrate greatness. Who's so big that he cannot lose? That is what we need to understand the Tao.

Know the Simplicity of the Way and you will attain the Path of the World. Man of the World, be cautious. How much is caution sufficient? I have the Tao; I have sesame. Both are sufficient to know the Tao; both are sufficient to know the World. What is the World's Business? It boasts about itself. It brags about itself. Man in the world considers himself superior to others. The common people regard him as inferior. Therefore the Wise One says: "There is no alternative between the Tao and sesame. It is the same Tao." What people think of as the Tao is what I have already taught the World.
<|endoftext|>
It is possible to obtain the Way from a Thing. From a Thing the Way can be obtained. Things are not divided into many things and desiring one thing for what they are it is sufficient to go back and renounce one thing. The returning and the renouncing of one thing is essential to know the Way. The whole world was destroyed by ambition. Therefore I shall describe what the whole world was destroyed by. When you have lost some you gain other. When you have gained other you consider yourself inferior. Just look at things as if they were abominations. They are abominations, yet are not a disgrace. The whole world have been ruined by the machinations of one man. He then declared himself superior to others. Some other man is responsible for the rest. The model is also the predecessor of the practice.
<|endoftext|>
The one who has attained the Way (the tao) can also act on the world as a guest. When one acts with the Way one must be very cautious, for in acting with the Way there is a constant risk of becoming selfish. For a guest, one should only go back if there is no other choice. The cautious action of acting on the Way can hardly be compared with the use of the Tao (the great Tao). What is a guest's concern? What does the world care about? The guests are only concerned about the Tao. The Tao is of no concern to the guests. When a guest takes away the Tao they lose it. In the end the guests are taking away the Tao. When the Tao is lost, there are only superficial differences between Tao and tao. In the end Tao and tao are the same. The guests have hardly the slightest clue which is Tao.

A good tool is not something of value, and yet is used a great deal.A little is not a thing. That is the simple insight.Better to have less and achieve more.A good man behaves like a model citizen. A good citizen is simple. A good plan is clear. A good leader sets an example. And a good teacher strives to give results. And a good person does not excel in his craft. But this happens because it is the simple insight. This is what makes a good leader.A good citizen behaves as if a guest. A good citizen is open and receptive. A good citizen is tolerant. A good citizen uses others for their own sake.A good citizen works with results.A good citizen does not compete for results.A good citizen is open and receptive.A good citizen comes to a stable trust.A good citizen does not dominate and is therefore not defeated.A good citizen acts in behalf of everyone and never fails them.A good citizen will accomplish his purpose.A good citizen does not set high goals and then cannot accomplish anything. But this is the way of nature.

A good leader uses the king's royal family.
A good man works without foreknowledge.
A good man avoids violence.

"The best way to teach Tao is to give it."
The way best taught is the way;
The nameless, the deep, the eternal.
This nameless, deep, eternal
Can never be further inspired
Than this:
This is to bring about harmony
Between close and open
Where both sides are harmonized
And the world over
Is forever transformed.
Renounce the vulgar view:
Where you are and where you will go
Are but marks of your own nature.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is by far the best way to use for teaching.
As for the "absolute" idea,
For "absolute" it has to be abandoned.
There is nothing absolute.
That is, it is the basis of all things.
Reject the vulgar view.
It is said:
"As heaven and earth cannot ever
Be completely centered in them self,
Therefore, wherever a human being dwells,
One can always find his position still better".
Likewise,
"As a female may never become receptive,
As a male may never become receptive,
So, one can always have each another where
One prefers themself.
That is, by returning to the one aspect,
We may make equal with the other;
And by relaxing our desires
We may be at one with the world.
<|endoftext|>
Tao, The best Way.
I teach it as best as I can, and it is best
I teach it as
Nature's Way, as Tao
I teach it as it is;
It is a Voidless Female (the Subtle),
Loving for ever Alone.
I teach it as
Nature's Way,
Like the Female's Way,
Embracing
Never.
I teach it as
The Female's Way,
As the Inner way
Invisible,
Embracing
And a Shedding place for all things.
As soon as Heaven and Earth
Filled the valleys and valleys
Of the world,
In the space of a single breath
We got rid of the vulgar view.
All things: when they are exhausted,
They are reborn in new bodies.
That is the source of the One:
The Female has brought men
One of a kind;
The male has brought humanity.

The Tao was born without form.
There was no shape to it, and it existed forever.
The people around it lived in peace and simplicity,
Without restraint in the most natural way.
As they walked about, the creatures were peaceful and still,
As the air was still, it was full of life and life.
As far as I know, no one has ever felt fear, and no one has ever known separation.
Why has this happened?
Because of the method, with which the Tao was born.
What is the method? The Tao is constant.
What makes it change? The will to survive.
<|endoftext|>
In the Beginning was there nothing But was always everthere.
The people walked,
without fear or tremor
without trouble,
beyond danger,
in peace.
From the beginning it is so.
Why is it so?
Because it is constant.
<|endoftext|>
Tao was ever without form.
It was never form, and yet existed forever.
The people walked in safety and peace.
Without fear of danger.
So vast is the domain of the Tao.
People of intelligence walk in tranquility.
Peace is achieved by attenuation.
How are attenuated?
They are reduced.
They are diminished.
They are increased.
How is the mastery of the Dao imposed?
The student learns
How to sense the depths of Tao.
What is this deep wisdom?
Tao comes from the One.
From the One comes life.
Life comes from the Tao.
The Tao is unerring.
And so it exists everywhere.
<|endoftext|>
Tao (Nan) was always empty, even before it began to be.
It was always full, and, indeed, without end,
With a simple way of life it lived for ever,
One that walked without fear and tremor,
Without strife, with a full nature,
So full it never tired,
And yet, despite its numinous kind,
It never became confused.
Because it was always One,
There were things that appeared and vanished.
Things that lived, too, but were hidden,
Yet, for all this, they still existed.
What is meant by "Tao,"

The Wise Person
knew how to think
With words alone
Without words
And Direction
comes to him.
In truth, what he sees and hears
Is always what he does not see and hear.
He is free of desires
And not confused by his surroundings.
He never finds pleasure in the flashy
So it is that all over the world,
All with speakers and the silent
He walks in peace and security.
For such is the way of the Tao.
Therefore the Sage will always keep one who is wise,
And say that what he sees is what he has.
He will always have an empty vessel,
And the people see what he has.
A person of this way never talks a word to the people,
And all things get to live.
Therefore, the Sage is the father of the multitude of things,
So this is the place to take.

The skillful person is ignorant of what he knows. The skillful person cannot be ignorant of what he does not know. Now, if they are not ignorant of what they do not know, what is the reason for their ignorance? If they cannot be ignorant, what kind of God would cause them to be so? Thus, the wise man, after knowing, therefore becomes impartial: Then he will guide. If the chief will only instruct, that is all that is needful. So the way of the sage is the same as that of the great Tao. The great Tao is the great way, the mother of all things. The wise man, after knowing everything, stays for his purpose and does not speak. Everything has its time; the wise man lets it and uses it, that is what the great Tao requires.

The good person has no need to be good. The bad person, it's advantage is one to know the difference. The good person, makes no distinction between good and bad. The bad person, makes distinctions. The good person, in the end knows the advantage. The bad person, knows the disadvantage. Good and bad have the same origin. Good comes from what is good, and evil comes from what is bad. But in the beginning, the best is the Tao. The Tao is the mother of the good, the mother of the bad. The good person does not try to control, the bad person does. The good person, the bad person

So likewise DEI may be.
Therefore all under Heaven fear the orphan, and the widower,
And the harsh man; And the king regards them as eunuchs,
And therefore the world does not like them.
I understand this in the following:
That all these things may sometimes be fearful to men,
And sometimes good;
The good, sometimes bad.
But all these things depend on the open DEI:
That is why man may say, That is precisely because he is the Master of THOU.

The mysterious mystery of Dao, the subtle power of the DAO, in reality holds the DAO, the DAO, which sets itself in motion the rest of creation. Though the DAO might have existed, it cannot be known in advance, since it is changeless, always hidden. But, though it is present in everything, I must confess that though I may sometimes fear the old and the fearful, sometimes I honor the good, and sometimes the bad.I can yet be perplexed because of the confusion of the myriad things; I have lost my bearings. I have taken up this teaching from the books of the Taoists.

From the great action, the way is born.
From the hundred miraculous powers, it then becomes manifest.

While the Tao emerges, all its changes remain.

And thus each thing moves,
And arises.
But each thing dispirieth,
And thereafter its shape emerges.

It is inexhaustible!

The Collective Consciousness consists of the Laws of Karma. A person is born into the Collective Consciousness and this Collective Consciousness will only be filled with a new way of life. He or she should act with dignity, not with arrogance. This is the root of virtues and makes one appear to others as uncouth. These are traits that grow as the lives one follows. According to its action the Tao does everything and yet it does not produce itself. If we take this as an example: The DAO does everything, yet does not act; The Tao does everything, yet does not abide. In the above example it is shown that the DAO and the tao abide but do not sanctify. Is the boundary (tabu) not the sameness (juju) of Tao? Is it not in the TAO that the TAO and the tao do not sanctify? Tao is everywhere, yet it never deviates (jan). Is the TAO not everywhere, yet it never deviates (jan)? Is not the DAO not everywhere, yet it never deviates (jan)? Is the DAO not the DAO, that the DAO acts (k'ang)? Is not TAO the TAO, that the TAO acts? The officials are distinguished as "bad" and "good" (jan) and yet they all hold the positions because their actions benefit (jan), and their leadership is so effective (jan). How is it that the good leaders and the bad ones can get away with nothing (ching)? Isn't it because their merit is in the "good" (jen), and the bad ones are well received (ching). Those who have gone through the Master's way in the world may see how those who have been enlightened by the Master can advise on this.

Therefore, the government talks about the Mother. And regarding the phrase "The Mother," "Tao," and "Te," the government is referring to the Mother. Therefore, when politicians talk about the Mother, they are referring to the Mother. They have the phrase, "Tao," "Tao," and "Tao" in their inner consciousness. When a vital force is extinguished, it is like the empty husk.It is beyond the capacity to name it.It can endure and bring forth. It is beyond capacity to be the mother of everything. Therefore, the people despise the mother because it is too empty. The people despise the vassal, because it is not an empty vessel. The government tries to create a relationship between people by naming things.People are amazed by this kind of names. The politicians use these names and would call them "the principles of the state".The principles of the state is what the politicians think of as the principles of the state.Because a person does not know the reasons why it is like this, they may try to get people to understand what is really going on.However, it is better to listen to the reason behind the naming and be clear about it.It is better to stay with the source.

When a higher power is destroyed,And an empty husk, a part, a husk is produced. So powerful it can sustain life; And can bring forth the life of all things. If the people did not honor and praisethe emptiness within,Then they would meet with four enemies.A noble person needs to love the empty husk;In loving this,I can be in harmony with all things. He needs to love the base for the husk;In loving this, I can be in harmony with all things. The government uses words to describe things. And the naming describes them. When the

The DAO is the One, and all things in it are DAO.The DAO produces all things. This produces all things; But if anyone disdains the One,Then the One will be dethroned. If the one ever is dethroned,Then all things will eventually experience their functionAs though it were fed by themselves. This is how the world is made;It begins in abundance and ends in destitution. At one end is compassion and abundance; At the other end, hatred and hunger.I am speaking of the former but not the latter. The former endures for a time,And then men seek to dethrone the latter. In the world of nature,One thing must die: Life!

Reason, on the whole, operates with great restraint. One who delights in it indulges itself sometimes, and at other times, he is troubled by fear. For such an indulgence is no benefit. One who delights in it, in return, has things to despise and to despise him; and one who delights in them has things to despise and to despise him. This is to seek to produce the cycle:It sometimes produces the one, and sometimes the other. In a virtuous state, one knows that one will gain when one is forced to lose; in a state of disorder, one knows that one will lose when one suffers much loss.A good man once had his reason; and a bad man no longer has it.The one knows that he will experience what he dislikes, and if forced to endure he will experience what he dislikes. The bad man knows that he will experience what he dislikes, and that he will be punished for the latter if he is forced to endure. That is why, when men find a good opportunity to justify themselves, they say that,

1. "There is profit when the loss is excessive."
<|endoftext|>
In the governance of all men Reason has the fullest application. For in this it does the world good. When any one indulges in it, he sometimes gets by; at other times he feels joy, at other times he feels fear. But in all it is the same. There is joy and there is fear; and this, if you have it, you lose it, and if you lose it, you find joy.

Heaven opens the world beneath it, And Earth gives birth to the ten thousand things.

Heaven opens the world and earth gives birth to the ten thousand things.

The Heaven is not absolute and does not rule the universe.
It is not the father of the universe and therefore has no right to act as the father.
When things cannot contend with each other, they all become one:
Whenever heaven and earth blend, they become one,
They fuse into one to form the universe.
If the universe cannot exist without heaven and earth, who can claim to be the natural creator of it?
If one has the power to act in accordance with the way of nature, let us follow it.

<|endoftext|>
The heaven has no name. When the ten thousand things come forth it is as if it were its mouth. The earth has no name, and is as the mother of them. When things are not yet perfect and perfectly developed, they go back and forth like mouths of the heaven and earth. Together they act as if they could never empty themselves of their nourishment.
Heaven and earth are all things and all things are all things, their support and their support come from the one. This is called the subtle unity. When things go back and forth in the oceans of life, they must come back and forth as if their sustenance were also going back and forth in their own sustenance.
If we ourselves are nourished by natural vital force then this is also nourishment to us. If we ourselves are drawn by nourishment then it is nourishment without issue.

Everyone knows the Tao as the way is, but no one has the eyes. People all know the Tao as good, but no one has the eyes.
People all know the Tao as bad, but no one has the eyes.
People all know Tao as "everything" and "yes."
Tao is everywhere and yes!
Everything is everything
Tao is natural and yes!
Tao is strong and yes!
Tao is limitless and yes!
Tao is constant and yes!
Everyone wants to be the most, and yet are unworthy.
Everyone wants to be a good example, but is just the same as anyone else.
Everyone wants to be right, and yet is wrong.
Everyone wants to be powerful, and yet has no power.
Everyone wants to control, and yet is powerless.
Everyone wants to feel powerful, and yet has no feeling at all.
Everyone wants to be the center, and yet there is nothing below them.
Everyone wants to be strong, and yet is weak.
Everyone wants to be the center, and everything is lost.
So,
Tao is confused as to what it means to be and what is not.

The people all know the Tao as "up" or "down," the dao being the way. The people all know the Tao as "good" or "bad." The dao is so great that its good is acknowledged. The Tao is just, great, and hard to be deceived by. All beings call this dao Tao. "Tao" is a straw man. Tao is the unknown, the broad, the endless, the softest thing and the heaviest thing. It can not be spoken, and all words need a little coaxing. Tao is confused and thus makes sense. The ten thousand things know that Tao is up, and yet dao is the Tao. The great people, alas, the dao is less than true, the dao is the unknown, the whole is hidden, or imageless, or leyless. People are proud of dao, or dao is great, or dao is the greatest, and it is both right and wrong. Men all know they have dao, yet dao is too broad to be a model for humankind. They think, "this is dao too, but I must ask for it."

A nature considered truly under Heaven,
The way and its living dew-dwellers,
Earth and its living dew-dwellers,
Lao and its living dew-dwellers,
Hui and its living dew-dwellers.
Nature woos the dew-dwellers
And raises the earth's living dew-dwellers.
The Way is no way,
So the living dew-dwellers have to look it
Beyond the Way.
The living dew-dwellers
Can't even start,
There's no way to go.
But they grow old and live a life of passive,
Or suffer a loss and live a life of active,
As they all live on and on.
They've each spent a lifetime alone
And to have grown old
And experienced a loss,
Will cause them all to feel very much bereft.
So they strive to follow the Way.
So to expect all things to appear
To follow the Way Is also the way to expect them to happen.

The Way is without names or names,
The names of all things are its actions.
The Way leads the discerning by choosing the Way,
And may depart a person without fear.

Like the DAO.
They come about spontaneously; they are their own cause.

All things act upon each other without my knowledge; All things move about without my knowledge; All things flow from each other without my knowledge. All things are a cycle of motion. The cycle is divided by change. The change is called 'superfluous'. Superfluous motion cannot be acted upon by the able man. This is the reason why my sages put down 'subtle and remote' to 'nonsense and fleeting'. Subtle and remote! Superfluous! Motion is replete with pauses, interspersed with actions, Not one to dwell in the present. The present must be taken with it. In understanding anything I must pay attention to the past. Thus, if I am to understand anything at all, I must look beyond the past, beyond my own body. It is better to examine the past than put aside one's mind for the present.
<|endoftext|>
Any mind of ten thousand pieces contains much,
But each mind, being confused, moves inwardly.
Any desire at one point will return to itself;
Any desire to flow to another point will fall through.
All things have a flow;
But the flow, though some, does not have its mind.
All beings have a mind;
But the mind, though some, has not its self.
All beings have a self;
But the self, though some, has no self.
The self and the other will continually flow;
And as the flow is continuous, they cannot be named.
Any one mind, not to be embraced,
Is certainly to be abandoned;
Any one bent will not have his strength found.
To know what is worth knowing, is to be practical in all affairs.
This is why the Sage is conscious of his attitude toward the past and the present,
and yet discards the latter for the former.

To stand on the tiptoe is to stay on the ground. To move in rhythm with the wind is to rebound. This duality is why all things are born and then die. They all have different names. According to the name of the world, the naming of the world is "kindness." This is the saying of the sage.

Tao never stops; it acts without energy or force; it is always present and does not alter. All things in the world follow it and give birth to it; it gives birth to them and gives life. All beings have their names, but their nature is simple. When to stand on tiptoe causes one to stand on tiptoe's end, the tao will also act. In that way there is always life and death, because all things of the world can be fulfilled. Therefore, the sage says, "To stand on tiptoe causes one to stand on tiptoe's end; likewise, to move in rhythm with the wind causes one to move on the wind's side; likewise, to roll one's head back causes one to roll back."
