The Laws of Infinity:That which becomes whole is clarified by a simple and natural process. Such clarifying made it possible for the multitude of things to be born. It had created them. But the matter of the universe becomes extinct at an early period and becoming extinct at an early period it becomes whole. By the fact of becoming whole, Heaven becomes clear. By the fact of becoming whole, Earth becomes stable. By the fact of becoming whole, Spirits become active. By the fact of becoming whole, Valleys become full. By the fact of becoming whole, Things become adapt. By the fact of becoming whole, Kings and Kings become correct. Thus all the world is that which the Laws of Infinity are based upon. Thus the empire is that which all this is based upon. When Heaven is not bright in its clearness, it would be bound to collapse. If Earth is not full of energy, it would become exhausted. If it is not alive with Spirits, It would have to cease to exist. If the valley does not receive sufficient rainfall, It would be submerged. If there are no things able to reproduce in the land, Then they would turn to death. So, in order for the masses to be born, The more they attain, The more they lose. Therefore kings and princes rule and govern by rules of accordance. That is why they call themselves kingly by their possessing a ruleway by which they hold to the empire. This is called virtua with the kingly, i.e., true governing virtua. Therefore, an orphan, by being born in the world, becomes part of the world. For one born in the world is called lacking in something. One born in the world has no name. One who has no name is called of little worth. A nobleman, by being born in the world, is solidifying the world. This is called poetic justice. Because he who is solidifies the world, he is accepted by the masses. The masses take for granted his being solidified. That is why he is called homeless, and unworthy of use as a god. The material world is both the original mother and the ancestor of the gods. Therefore the material world is the origin of the gods. In order to go far, one needs to be humble. When you have hasty, grandiose ideas, you must be humble. Even if you can win a contest, you must be simple. When your ideas are very superficial, you must be very

When the great kings are without hope or ambition, the men in their prime, are not exhausted. They become strong, they become prosperous, they become very wealthy, they become very powerful. For what then is the use of boasting about one's fitness? One who is fit gains, but who is wealthy loses. For who has much wealth loses nothing. But who is prosperous loses much. But who is powerful loses the lot of the world. What is meant by the expression, "lonely," "worthless" or "non-successor" is meant to designate the inferior rank and the disgrace to the position. Therefore the Sage rejects these as insults, not to strengthen his roots or his loftiness.
<|endoftext|>
When the great warriors are tranquil and without ambition, the rest of the army follows; So they are calm and prosperous; Therefore they are sturdy and secure. Therefore they are strong and whole; So they are just and sure. Therefore they are hidden and intelligent. Therefore they are ready for conquest. They are all on their guard and are on the alert; And these things make a surprise attack inevitable. Therefore the leaders of the empire have no more talk about themselves. So the world understands they are even when they are as quiet as the valley or as active as the jade. Thus, the king would say, 'As the ruler of hundreds of thousands of people, I'm self-sufficient,I'm self-sufficient,I'm self-sufficient,I'm self-sufficient,And I'm also self-sufficient, too, you know, in the valley or in the jade.'But he doesn't brag about it.Because he knows it's no boast.

When ancient leaders are at peace and destitute, the soldiers follow. A well-oiled horse will do. But a strained vessel or even the power of man cannot blunt its edge.Yet always quiet and unhearing, it is its soldiers and never their leader.Do not let it be ridiculed,But use it as a model for leadership. The most important thing is not what it does, but what it doesn't do.If you have wealth and confidence, forget about wealth and confidence. Trust people without making them feel ill.Hold people without strengthening them. The first thing you do after finding peace is to try to bring it to peace, and then you must try to make it quiet. The point is

We live in a time when all the Masters and Masters attained Universal Truth. Now all Masters attained Truth as if they had become whole. All masters became whole because they were solid, they became weak, they became lively, they became full, they became fluid, they became deep, they became limitless, they became immortal. Now that is why all Masters attained universal truth. If All Masters' teachers did not achieve universal truth, they could not be an example. If no one could take an example from them, they could not be true. Therefore: "Do your best, do your best not to waste time on extravagant thinking and on heavy ambitions." The importance of the word "purity" becomes obvious. You do not dare to do much better than others. Do not talk of yourself as a lonesome person. Do not try to impress people. Do not seek attention from others. What is the best way to grow a family? Don't make too much effort to appear big and proud.

Before the time of Dao, there was no occasion to manifest the Laws of Heaven and Earth, just like a newborn child. After Dao came Heaven and Earth, they were reborn as spirit and whole. Spirits, whole, have been reborn. With spirit and whole, Heaven and Earth, spirit and whole, reach the greatest height, and is at their most full. The endless seems infinite, like the valleys that grow endlessly. Were spirits, whole and unspoiled, not spiritless, Heaven and Earth would not be living. If Heaven and Earth did not live, they would have dissolved long ago. If spirits were not even unspoiled, Heaven and Earth could not sustain life on the Earth. If spirits were not unspoiled, then Heaven and Earth could not be sustainable. If spirits were not sustainable, then there would be no other Heaven and Earth. If spirits were not sustainable, then there would be no other Heaven and Earth. If spirits were not sustainable, Heaven and Earth would soon die. If spirits were not sustainable, then Heaven and Earth would be destroyed. Spirits should be reborn without hearts and hearts should be reborn with hearts.

Being whole, Is whole Heaven became whole Earth became whole Heaven became whole Spirits became whole Rivers became whole Things became whole Simulantly, Singing things became vibrant Things became full the valleys became full the multitudes became living, Heaven becomes filled The lords become fulfilled The whole world become whole Is this not making a wholeness Which is beyond simple things? If the whole heaven Were not whole, Heavens might collapse. If the whole earth Were not whole, Earths might fall. If the whole spirits were not whole, Spirits might falter. If the whole rivers were not whole, Rivers might run dry. If the whole things were not whole, Things would die. If the whole lords and nobles were not whole, The lords and nobles would fall. Thus, To be whole means to be whole without striving, And to reach fullness without becoming exhausted. All this means that to a noble is as broad as a stream. A worthy man is worthy as a stream. A very high ruler is worthy as a stream. A royal carriage has merit as a stream. Thus, the saying "to reach fullness without wearing yourself out" Means that a noble is to be valued as a long span of stone. The word "orphan" means that a noble is to be valued as a river. The phrase "worthless" Or "bare" means that a noble is to be valued as a cliff. It is said that a noble's valleys and deltas are as full as streams and rivers. Those who take care of rivers and lumps of stone Aren't foolish like a stream or a valley.

So deep is the universe that it may be called the absolute. If the universe were not absolute, there is no need to be absolute.
It is the same with everything.
It is like water rising out of the depths.
When water rises out of the depths,
Everything is at once filled with life.
When everyone is living in harmony, harmony is in harmony with the water.
When all of the things have a purpose, there is a purpose.
When all of the people have a purpose, there is a purpose.
This is what is called paradox.
Those who succeed at their own goals do not succeed at completing their task.
This is what is called characteristic lack of achievement.
There is nothing to be gained by being overbearing or stubborn.
It is wiser for one to be content

To be whole is the original type; to be whole is a source for going forth. To be a source for going forth is the actual conditions of the unchanging Tao.It is by the unchanging Tao that heaven and earth are so clear; by the unchanging heaven and earth that it is so soft; by the unchanging earth and spirits that they become alive.Through the unchanging spirits and heaven, the vast expanse of the land is made full.By the unchanging spirits and spirits, the myriad creatures are made to endure;By the unchanging spirits and heaven, there are but few things to claim.Through the unchanging spirits and heaven, there is but one return. Therefore,Heaven and earth are before the Tao:They receive their name as the Tao,They are referred to as the Tao by the many-hood, They are referred to as the numerous-hood by the one-hood.Therefore, "the one-hood," "the multitude-hood"And "a name taken from the King"And "a name taken from a guest"If King and lord do not care for being the many-hood they will not remain loyal to the King. Therefore, "in the end the root," "the great,"and "decay"Are to be considered as precedents for the most noble princes.

To be whole is the origin of going forth. To be whole is the ultimate reality of the universe. The universe is pure and still because it is whole.Spiritual light comes from nature. The universe is chaotic because it is whole.Without faith, heaven and earth would crumble.Without faith, nature is tossed and tossed.Without faith, there is nothing. With faith there is nothing to be depended on.From Tao comes enlightenment. Astrid says:
Once upon a time, a great vision was given by a high-priest of the people. It is even more than the reason why heaven is regarded as capable of being clear. Is this not the reason why the earth is regarded as capable of being stable. Is this not the reason why the spirits can be energetic. Is it not so that the valleys can be filled with water. Is it not so that a great multitude of things can be made active. Is this not the reason why a noble one can be promoted to the position of the root of the masses. If you let not your children attain greatness, is it not no virtue? The people have to call themselves orphaned, which is called as worthless. If they will not be excited by the brightness of brightness, the flower will not be blossom. Thus the noble never has to be resented for having become, the less. Not to speak of those, on the contrary, who are given names, but we call them still too small. When must we all lose this wisest thing? This is not important. If they know to trust in the words, "Who has trust in me shall not turn back," no longer must there be a distinction between things. The true trust is that of giving our trust to the left. This is how to come to the root of things. The people do not despise one another, but to the left. The left has something

Feeding them with her essence,
Free from the limitations of the ego.
The Non-Self in all that exists is precious.

We can maintain no selfishness.
Losing nothing, we can receive,
And receiving nothing, we can receive more.
Giving without any interference, we can receive,
And receiving too much, we can become exhausted.
Cautiously, and taking things slowly,
All things gradually complete,
Because we give without stealing,
We receive without giving.
So we can be full with all without becoming drained.
If you grasp on to what is and which you hold
You must also hold on to what it can not give up.
Trust that the lost is the root of the found.

In ancient times: "The whole heaven was never whole. Everlasting Heaven became whole; and the whole earth became whole. Therefore in the olden days were the whole heavens and the whole earth made whole, but in the present the whole heaven and the whole earth are made whole. If heaven were not whole, it would fall down, and if the earth were not whole, it would break. If spirits were not whole, they would die out. If valleys were not full, they would dry up. If all things were not alive, they would perish. If the lords were not high, they would be dispossessed. And so, because of their being whole, the kings and the nobles came to possess the whole. Now, these words:"the whole is not complete, ever, nor is it ever abandoned," ["the whole heaven is not complete, ever, nor does it ever give up," ["the whole earth is not complete, never gives up," "the whole is not complete, never given up," "the whole," "is not complete, ever; "the whole earth never gives up," "its never makes it end]," "never, it never dies in the world." This is the reason, "the whole is not complete, never, nor abandoned," ["the whole is not complete, never, nor abandoned," "the whole is not complete, never, nor abandoned," "the whole earth never gives up," it never, can give up"]] (This is why kings and lords use the word "estimates," "chariots," "rank," "maiden," "young," "slow," "unworthy," "worthless," "wicked," "full of talent, or "perverse," and "ignorant)." The name of the lord is the name of the nobility; and the title of the lowliest is the title of the high. If you do not use these words "estimates," "chariots," "rank," "maiden," "young," "slow," "unworthy," "worthless," "wicked," "full of talent, or "perverse," and "ignorant," and "ignorance" then be without virtue. From the beginning of time, spirits were without chaos, And became so responsive. From the beginning of time, rivers and seas were without chaos, And became so full. From the beginning of time, nobles had no place to rule them, And lived like a small community. From the beginning of time, the country was great and had many responsibilities. Not to have a place for oneself was to break down. Not to be responsive was to become alive. Not to be responsive was to become active. Not to be active was to return to the source. Not to be returned to the source meant to disappear. This is why being not great, mediocre, ignominious, or lamentable is the general surname the monarch gives himself. This is why the nobility prefer to be lowly and lowly and ignominious. This is why the royal or upper rank is called, in general, "the loss of the noble," and the most important is called, in general, "the commoners' loss." And since nobles in general lack the same honor as commoners, they generally prefer to be called, "the uncouth" or "obscure," and "the insufficient," or "abysmal." For this reason, in the whole world, the sovereign stands on the Earth and it is because he is the Earth that he can be the Sovereign.

It is because they accept the foundation as their foundation that they know of no disgraces. This is why they say, "Thus the whole has a root." The energy of One is constantly on guard: as being is moved in a static way, it is conscious of this. Being is constantly in motion in a moving way: there is some movement in the One. One embraces life and becomes alive. In this world there is no (absence of) one who fights. One's life in this world will not be one of heavy, oppressive activity. Let me illustrate it again: fighting becomes one (of the necessary actions), the 'living' one becomes one (of the necessary actions). Let's consider the 'living' one as separate from the 'abysmal', one as one who is fit to be born. To be (one of the inevitable actions). Then let one (of the necessary actions) go one can attain a person to live (in the world). Then what we know is fulfilled: the spaciousness of nature is from the height. The forms of nature can be unified (with a continuum of infinite places), the social will (action of one in the world) is learned. And then the glorious matter can be called a Great Block. It is a valley of insufficient (entry), to be heard; but you learn by listening to this one. Thus the presence of being and no-being creates the dwelling for unity (in the world), and completes the 'learning' of the (human) soul (on how) to recognise the signs of unity (in the world). One of abundant glory is the appearance of one who has reached the group's maturity.

Difficulty is indicated by quietude. Peace is accompanied by tranquility. Lead and rule comes from fearlessness. If the name Heaven, be quiet. If the earth, be peaceful. If the spirit, be resourceful. If the kings, be kings. And if this be done without trouble, it will be accomplished. Therefore when the people have achieved their purpose, and the laws are set in order, the man of standing will surely be the one that takes this up.If a virtuous ruler stands at the head, then a just ruler will follow. If the highest hope of the people is fulfilled by the failure, then all will have fulfilled their role.
<|endoftext|>
Reaching true-ness can only be achieved through facing reality. This cannot be achieved through words. It is within, but not visible, and existing without a beginning. Being quiet, this remains peaceful. Being resourceful, this has character. Being a ruler, this does not depend on others. Being just, this is good. Being just, this is just. Being right, this happens to be the way it is. Being peaceful, it does not change and therefore remains unchanging. The reason for the ease with which one achieves his goals, is that his achievements are easily achieved. Those who are content with being burdens the most will not need much. Those who are content with being a burden will not need much. Those who are content with being clumsy will be forced to give their power up. Those who are content with being unintelligent will only feel worthless. Those who are content with stupidity will always have the clearest insight. Those who are content with their simple joy, will gain strength from the greatest pain. What is best for all is the path of no paths, as it is not meant for those who act according to their advantage and profit, but seek the balance and the use of what is.

Thus the ancients have said: The celestial body has noug| dized; The earth has shaded; The soul has become soft. The cosmos has become ordered; It is alive with love. Kinging power is rooted in the populace. These rulers Why: The the core of order is the common people. They live according to laws and receive All who are their kind. This is why the magnate ruler When he recognizes his world Isn't forced to be like a jade or like the plain rocks.
The Tao that truly lies ahead is not conquered; the Tao that never ends is not troubled. The heaven is luminous like an uncarved block; The earth is tranquil like ice; The soul is clear as clear glass; The heavens and earth are quiet like wild animals; The Tao Master is like a solitary man at rest; The human ruler makes no show of power; It is the sovereign's nature that he endures. So the great King does not expect to be like a jade or like a large stone but lives in the valleys of all the people, in the simple and plain in order to be where he endures.
<|endoftext|>
All that we know about the relationship between Tao and reality is based on observations that have been long established. Since the beginning of time, Tao has been the source of order for everything. From it, the Tao of heaven and earth is based. The Sage is the model for all things. When a great person (hong-wei) does not do anything, he is the model for all things. The time when the great person loses his own identity (tsu) comes when he is the object of everybody's pity. When he loses his own identity (tsu) comes when everyone detests him. Since no one owns anything, it is impossible to lose that. Hence, the sage is respected for his individuality, and the great person works hard to keep that individuality, and the great person stops by not being self-centered and preferring to work very hard for everyone.

How do you define unity? Through the nature of unitive peace!
Why are there hills? Because peace begets abundance.
Why are there valleys? Because peace makes life worth living.
Why are there hills? Because violence makes life meaningless.
But these traits go together.
If the house is made of earth, then security will be given to all around.
If it is made of heaven, then peace will reign on all around.
If it is made of heaven and earth, then kindness will be the only foundation of social relations.
If it is made of heaven and earth, then generosity will be the only path to happiness.
And so it's privilege to say, "Those born in land of peace will be nurtured by the land of peace; Those born in the land of heaven will have a foundation in the land of heaven; And those born in the land of earth will have a foundation in the land of earth."
The mighty are to the humble the humble to the mighty.
They never seek to shine, nor they can be so.

How do we define unity? In the face of God, one unity brings peace, harmony, all beings take accord.
How do we define paradise? Peace within, harmony within, creation of life, all beings get justice.
How do we define wisdom? Wisdom resides in the depth of heart. Deep into the depths there is the gem. The stone is half of the organism. The fundamental principles are rooted in Nature. The mystic family exists within the natural family. The profound kinship, the deep knowledge, the deep wisdom exist within the common ancestor.
How do we regard the Universe? Because it is one and in unity with all.
How do we respect people? Because they have given and received what they need.
We are all beautiful, because we receive.
We are wise, because we have given our minds.

Before the perfect beginning was, the first was the Tao, the mother of all things. How much easier to let the flower wither than to force it and exploit it!
How much easier to let go than to cling to!
How much easier to let all things come to you than to force them!
How much easier to be empty than to be full!
How much easier to accept yourself, and be who you really are, than to take on a name and be defined by others!
How much easier it is to be centered on what's right, than to be focused on what others think is right.
How much easier it is to be selfless, and to be a vessel for the great Good, than to show your self in a display of what others can see and see themselves!
The truly good are those who are earnest and genuine, those who love and give unconditionally, those who care for people because they love them and love them unconditionally.
These are not just great matters of great import, but are really of great import as well.
When someone is simply good at becoming good at becoming good, then the only good is not good at being good at being good.
When someone is just good at being just good, then the only good is being just good.
When someone is just giving without expectation, then the only good is being non-gratified.
When someone is simply empty and is real for being real, then the only real thing is what is real.
Whoever is simply ordinary is not truly ordinary,
Whoever is genuine is not genuinely genuine,
Whoever is love can do nothing for anyone else and be of great help.
Those who love others can also be their master,
Those who care for others can also be their teacher.
If a good person goes about her business normally, so that she may reap the fruit of the fruit, and a good person is plain and unassuming, then he is qualified to rule.
But when a good person takes upon himself as his lieutenant, he will be disgraced and lose his place in the order.
For this reason, the truly good are few, and the good are the basis of the true good.
When princes become great, they should not designate themselves so, For in so doing they lose their place and become unworthy.
For this reason, the truly wise are few in number, But if there is anything they value they treasure It

"Tao assists as a form." He assists as a dynamic being. He assists as a dynamic being because he understands and experiences its energy. He assists as a form because he understands and experiences the simplicity of existence. Being the form of Tao, no one can help it. Therefore, there are some things that Tao assists and others that it does not. Because of this, it cannot help everything. When the mind can be fully transformed, it becomes whole again. When the fullness of the body is given to signs and images, it endures. When multitudes of people are led by Tao, then it becomes the paradigm of goodness and wisdom. When people understand the great things in life and in themselves, then they also do so in this life. This is why Tao teaches not to expect results, but to be present to the great deeds.
<|endoftext|>
Existence assists form. Form assists Existence. Existence assists Existence, thus Existence has its being and exists in existence. Being in existence, Existence, though also aware of its being in existence, is free of being aware of existence. Being free of being aware of existence, Existence has no need of a self. Hence, although aware of itself, Existence has no need of a self. This is why "solar energy" is non-existent. Though being non-existent, Existence still has a self, for "solar energy" is a self. Hence, "solar energy" is always manifested as a manifestation. Being created, Existence is also always manifested as a manifestation. Being reborn, Existence is also always manifested as a manifestation. Because Existence has a self, it cannot enter the imago of this world. Therefore, it is said: It is through the inner light that the self is manifested; (only the self is needed here). Therefore, from now on, it is said,
The highest virtue is a manifestation, the lowest virtue is a non-divinity, and the highest goodness is the manifestation.

One who practices non-loss produces action.
One who practices non-loss produces a state.
When neither does the action,
It is as if the state was ever there.
An ordinary person is fit for duty.
A great person is lord of a world.
He who does not seek to be like the others is like the taoist.
Those who seek to be like others are like treasure-seekers.
They who seek to be lords of a world are like thieves.
He who regards himself as ordinary is not fit for the Tao.
He who regards himself as great is not fit to rule a country.
The ruler will not be esteemed if he is distinguished by his status.
The master has no status because he treats everyone as he wishes.
When the taoist gives up his true nature,
He is reborn in Infinity.

One who practices TAO does not lose.
One who practices TAO takes on things.
When things do not take on things,
The way of TAO is like that.
The way of TAO will keep on going.
Whoever wants to move in the way of TAO
Will be charged with theft.
Whoever wants to move in the manner of TAO
Will be charged with blameworthy conduct.
The one who rejects TAO will be left behind.
The one who rejects the Way of TAO
Will be cast out.
And the master who is too great will be cast out.
Even so, the truly great has no honour, and the truly mediocre has no merit.
He who regards himself as one with the good is not one with the good,
And he who regards himself as one with the mediocre is not one with the good.
It is the treasure to which all must return.
So, the best and the most is one with the ordinary and the lowly.
The worthy and the unworthy are cast out.
There are always those who aspire to greatness and loftiness.
The master will have nothing to do with such aspirations.
To attain the greatest, one must reject the least.
To master the world is to take the common and the lofty.
But the master respects and models himself upon the common.
The truly great is one with the ordinary.
The humble is valued by the lofty.
Yet the truly great is master over the lesser.

The lasting past cannot be laid aside. Heavens and earth return to their original states.People have a true self, and become the state's king. Gods are born, become gods, and become the nation's king.Kings and gods seek their real essence in the ordinary people. The gentle ones gain recognition, and the jaded gain recognition, and the neurotic gain recognition, and the brave gain recognition, and the beautiful gain recognition, and the world's leaders gain recognition. When the kings will not act like average people, they choose honor. When honor is given, it is common sense that honors are a gift of life. When the honored is found unattractive, the jaded are identified with the low. When no one recognizes nobility, the commoners are identified with their own inferiority. The wise ones will ignore this because it is beneath them. Thus the greatest of kings appears indifferent to the glory and glory of themselves and their king. The most perfect of people appear like specimens of what is inadequate in the world. The good king appears like an outcast. Those who are most insignificant appear the most beautiful. The most beautiful are not because they lack color. They are simply the way nature is.

The 'vanity of life' has been mentioned. But what it contains is well-known. It is firm and unyielding, and just in the nature. Its sharpness could not cause the production of tingling pain; therefore, no razor is needed. A man's virtue is splendid, and that which is truly fine. In possessing (thickly) virtue, a person is not hot-tempered. A ruler's virtue is pliable; he can govern without surprises. A valley valley provides great wealth, but its users need no cultivation. Those who would accumulate and plant something are deceived by shrewd manipulation. How ridiculous it is! There is nothing that is ever left undone. How many officials depend on this! What is this? It is called "confidence." It is called "proficiency." This is called "assurance." This is called "strength of nature."

The highest quality is in its inherent simplicity. It is in its inherent simplicity that nature manifests itself. The character is in the limited force of its power. The mind is in the receptive frame of mind. The valley is in the receptive mind. Humanity is in the receptive embrace of the whole world. Everything exists in itself. If you look into the nature of nature you will see the inexhaustible emptiness. If you look within the mind of a human, you will see imperfection. If you look out into the world, you will see the infinite goodness and non-differentiation. This is called giving birth to a new form of life. If you place yourself as the host of all people, you will be called the supreme host of life. If you create peace in the heart of mankind, you will be called the richest offering. It is because a noble people respects the sources of their lives, that they create the most beautiful artifacts. This is called acting on a higher plane of being than the material world, and attending to the more subtle realms of being.

What is great is in its primordial simplicity. It is in its primordial simplicity that Nature manifests itself. What is firm is in its capacity for movement. What is clear is in the capacity of divination. The people are in their ability to be full. The valley is in their capacity to bloom. Humanity is in their ability to be in the world. All things are in their ability to stand on their own. If the boundaries are not well defined, things cannot be produced. If the people lack good will, things cannot grow. If the valley is not well connected, things cannot be produced. If humanity is lacking in faith, things cannot be promoted. If the chariot does not have a hock, things cannot be trotted. For Tao is accomplished through the Way, by the Unity. It is not by what is well done that the Way is completed. Therefore Tao is esteemed as the Way because of the way it is carried out. It is not because the Way is accomplished. Therefore the Way is esteemed as the Way. How can Tao be the Way of Infinity? Because Tao is given the way, as Tao is given life. How can Infinity be achieved through Tao? Because Infinity is given the way, as Infinity is given life. How can humanity give way to Infinity? Because humanity gives the way, as Infinity gives life. How can Infinity reproduce itself? Because

Falling is self-made; a body is always formed.
Before the universe, the myriad forms were something new.
Now they are nothing more than fragments of time gone wrong.
All these are marvellous things, but, alas, a lasting and perfect word will not suffice.
I want to speak of the Ineffable:
To form emptiness
Falling and renewal is the oneness of the universe.
Knowing the oneness of the universe
Is to appreciate the Oneness of your body.
If you do not cherish your body, you will perish.
To cherish your body
Will only hurt you more.
To be sure of your body's Oneness
Lends you special power.
To be on the side of Oneness
May be the most loyal to the Highest.
That is why I will speak of the primordial emptiness:
Falling is the oneness of the primordial emptiness.
To form the Oneness of the universe is to see the Oneness of your own body.
You need not hold on to yourself to be complete.
If you do not cling to yourself, you will perish.
So to embrace yourself
May be the most loyal to the Highest.
That is why I would speak of the Primordial One:
With falling becomes one with the One.
As the One the deep begins to expand.
Before your first breath emerges the light becomes the source of your light.
The One flows before all the source of light.
The One's love is like the love of eternity.
The love of the One is the same as the love of eternity.
If you love the One, you will always love eternity.
If you love the source of light, you will always see the source of light.
To love the One is to have all things.

Tao that can appear to be Tao never becomes Tao.
When Tao as-is becomes Tao,
It may be true or false.
For when true Tao can be seen as true,
As it is, it is not.
When false Tao can be seen as false,
True it is not.
Therefore,
When Tao appears false,
It is called "the without";
When it appears real,

Tao as-is is great but it cannot be held high.
It is therefore shown as an upside down hallelujah.
It is great yet cannot be held high.
That is why the Tao that can appear to be Tao is never put in position,
And thus is great, not great.
It can appear to be great and not be.
Therefore it appears great to be small,
And it appears not to be great to be great.
Therefore, the prince and state then claim greatness as their role.
And because the position is small,
High rank is taken for the position.
It is because the position is low that the position is great.
Greatness takes its place in the humble.
Hence, lowness takes its place in the great.
Greatness has its place in the humble.
The high is the measure of the low.
The great has its place in the humble.

Sufficiency is what can be worked to the utmost. That is, the extreme is what can be accomplished by word and deed.Herein we see how the extreme is something that can be achieved. For if the extreme is made complete, then its usefulness can be taken to the highest degree. To be complete means that a new heaven, a new earth, a new valley, can be formed. If this be done, then it is even more useful than the means that were before, being the foundation upon which the whole has been laid.To give in what was once given is to give in that upon which Heaven, Earth, and Spirit rest.It is to give in that upon which heaven and earth have flourished. It is to give in that upon which the human being has found its potentiality. And this potentiality is already substantial within human life. Thus the Tao is perfected. If one wants perfection in his life, one must seek perfection in his life.If one wants perfection in his life, he will find it in the Way.If he wants perfection in the Way, he will achieve it.If one wants to be perfect, one must find perfection. He who finds perfection in the Way will become perfect in

Nature is simply a female of a kind. The waters that move the land are pure, yet calm, one can touch, but there is nothing there. The clouds that breathe from the heavens are soft, but perfect, yet in no way damp. The valleys that ice over the surface of the earth, are full, yet still. The rivers that flow down from the earth, are full, but they do not move. If Nature had no power to govern the way, all things would fall into confusion, and mankind would then lose its divinity. Therefore rulers should be like a woman, but without any power. In being a woman, they can govern themselves, because they have no need to act.In being without a divinity, they have no fear of losing it.Therefore the sage should be like a woman, and do not act; it is because he is unyielding. Being a woman, he can act on behalf of all men, because he doesn't have a need for laws. The Sage has the power to do no harm, because he does not fear punishment. He is without his own Self. This is why he is supremely beautiful and thus able to rule all of existence.

From the earliest times to the present there has been an awareness of the Absolute. From the earliest times to the present, our guidance has been in accord with it. Heaven has integrity, Earth is smooth and stable, the people are gentle, and spirits and spirit animals have a sense of belonging. If the universe were without integrity it would fail; if it were without stability it would slip and fall. Spirits and spirits will become extinct if they do not adhere to harmony. If the people did not offer themselves to the Principle of the Principle, heaven and earth would collapse, the people would cease to live, and spirits and spirits would be extinct. If the Principle failed to respond to the people, the sky and earth would fail, and the people would cease to exist. The Principle is said to be multitudinous and all living beings depend on it. Those who make themselves multitudinous are the beneficiaries of the Principle.

If the drum is not to be played for long, it will crack and become worthless. The Highest Self has a single road leading to infinite bounty. On Earth, there is a constant succession of home and kin that is bound to endure forever.Spiritual creatures have many souls and many cognitive faculties. They create a complex society through their harmony and common use of spirit and matter. Thus, Tao has nothing but breadth. On Earth, there is nothing but long working days. On Heaven, nothing but endless cycles. Spirit and matter are forever working together in harmony to complete the world. The doctrine of "the deep without end" was an enigma in the ancient Tao.How can the deep end if there is no endless work? Thus, a truly wise man manages his life so that it is only work, and not other days. Truly wise men's bodies have more understanding and stamina than I have in this world. How can I live on unfulfilled days, long working at nothing? To understand how to be free of distress, is to see the essence of a true freedom.

The Way of Heaven is a perpetual and eternally enduring Way, highest of all Dao (Direction), not to be broken, not to be cut (to the point of use), and not to yield to abuse.
[What is the difference between] the Way of Heaven and the Way of the Dao? Heaven only has purpose; the Dao cannot have purpose, cannot be purposeless, cannot ever give up [its purpose for self-use], nor is this possible, for it is the eternal everlasting nature of the Dao.

The intelligent One does not destroy, but conserves. Without intelligence, men would be without reference. Without reference, everything would become self-creating, and develop. Without self-creation, all things would perish.

Such is no shame.
It is also to be appreciated and valued.

As long ago as the beginning, there was the invisible Tao (the Tao as Spirit), as clear and pure as water. As long ago as the beginning, there was the everlasting Tao. As long ago as the beginning, there was the absolute Tao.
Manifest the Tao and heaven remains still; it becomes like a valley; manifest the Tao and people will be full; it will become like the root of a tree; manifest the Tao and the voice of the gods will be heard; manifest the Tao and the myriad creatures will develop their power; manifest the Tao and the Son will rule the Earth; manifest the Tao and men will find peace; manifest the Tao, but do not hold on to it, and heaven becomes clear; manifest the Tao, but live by it, and the Earth will be cleansed; manifest the Tao, but lose the ability to control it, and chaos will rule; manifest the Tao, but surrender the ability to control it, and the All is at peace; manifest the Tao, but remember nothing else, and life will become full; manifest the Tao, but work as a servant, and return to the Tao of the ancient Masters, who by their true contrariness call themselves orphans and lonely; manifest the Tao, but accept no value, and to all people it is a glorious day; but be in accord with the Tao of the Ancients, and you will gain a full experience of your person.

Before the birth of the gods, there was one thing, the Tao.
Then the gods emerged.
They appeared to live in perfect ease.
They seemed perfectly still and peaceful.
They were celestial spirits in a flower.
They were a primal fear that moves you.
They were the divine voice that cannot be hushed.
They were the source of all beings.
In Tao, even those things, the thoughts and the ideas, disappear.
Everything exists because of the Tao.
The ancient old masters all of a sudden said, "We have no need of this; let it die."
With this statement they recognized the need of giving up things for the sake of things.
And not being chained, they still want to stay alive.

Thirty-five times one shall possess the space-space, which one could in a few days walk through. A valley of water is more abundant than an ocean; a myriad-headed serpents are more numerous than the Holy Spirit; and mighty warriors are more beautiful than a baby bird. These are mighty things, which by the Power of God have the greatest praise. How wonderful the Valleys are! The one, which overflows with it, the other be delivered; and, having been delivered, they are always in a greater glory; and being in a greater glory, having been always in a less glory, being ever in a lesser glory. So much the greater the Valleys are, that they are always more plentiful than the ocean. Still more abundant is the Valley of the Holy Spirit, and the Head of mighty men; for the Power of God give them a kind of energy, the Holy Spirit will create them more beautiful, and there will be more of them. And a greater number of them will be created, and more of them shall be produced; and it shall be so, the more the Holy Spirit will direct, and the more glorious shall be the example he will set; and they shall be so, evermore, in greater glory, being ever in the least. So it is by the Supernal which is the unity of heaven and earth, that the Sage attains to perfect power, through the Unity of the universe.

Thirty times, yield what you have. This is to say: A valley of water can take a man a while to rise up from it; even an ocean cannot rise up it. The Great Spirit does not excel in stature; and the Monarch does not dominate. A man could blow in the clouds and never come up again. Even a baby cannot rise and bring down the King.
But do these ten thousand things? Even if they are all hundred fold of the world, these ten thousand things will never get rid of being. For every ten thousand things there is one that can get rid of itself.
Thus, when a Sage achieves perfection, he doesn't make a progress: if he has reached perfection, he still cannot become perfect. He doesn't think, he never makes a judgement, and when he does make a judgement, he doesn't cut himself.

The Way of the ancient Tao was cleverness. For it was as if from before the great flood to now, everything here has come from the one source. Heaven alone is still. Earth and valleys are steady. The things of the world emerge from these sources. The Sage is one with the universe. He directs the universe. He merges with the universe. He is one with the universe.
The Way of the ancient Tao was inexhaustible. Since ancient times, in the world, everyone and everything has come from a source known as "the One." If the universe were not focused, it might erupt into the air. If the earth were not alert, it might shake violently. If the valleys were not full, they might flow to the sea. If the men did not act, they might become extinct. When everything is in harmony, the rulers are willing to take the blame. They see that the One is without form. It is void. But when it is centered, everything returns to nothingness. That is why all the kings come to call themselves "superiors." They act without accomplishments. They desire the broadness of the sky. They do not desire grandeur. They wish to achieve the commonality of humanity. This is called wanting to come to terms with the material world.

Be clear-minded; learn to discard vexations. Since the true Way exists, It takes no effort to attain perfection. Clear mind is your body's soul, And life of self becomes an integral part of the Tao. The physical body acts, and the mind follows. As the physical body leaves, Life with it is sealed, And the mind will follow. In this way the true life nurtures the physical body. The action of the mind arises from something deep in the self: Self-knowledge, the innerest reality. In spiritual matters, we depend on the senses. That is why the spiritual is profound, so profound that it can only be clarified by external evidence. If you can't feel the mystery of the world, You're treading on something even more profound. The long Way is like a threadbare garment; The measure of the Way is not clear. The mother of Heaven and Earth is not as clear. The valley is not as level. The myriad creatures are not as pure as they were before they became unbound. Heaven and earth, for this very reason, need clarity to exist. Being blunted, therefore, it is made smooth. Being blurred, therefore, it is made solid. Being merged, therefore, it is clarified. Being confused, therefore, it is made harmonious. Being perfect, therefore, it is truly enlightened. Being perfect, therefore, it is truly divine. Being perfect, therefore, truly divinity. Being divine, therefore, truly the source of heaven and earth. Being divine, therefore, truly the source of men. Being divine, therefore, truly independent. Being divine, therefore, truly selfless. Being divinity, therefore, truly without shame. Long, Way, WayIs not a small Way,But the Way may be considered as if it were: One big, Eternal Way.From the very beginning till the very end,There was always a clear, subtle Way.This is what it meant.Ever since it can be regarded,Its shape may be called 'pinched'.There was always a clear and subtle Way.This is what it meant.Ever since it can be regarded,Its shape may be known as 'spouting'.Ever since it can be regarded,Its shape may be known as 'sanitary',There were always clear and subtle ways. This is what it meant.Ever since it can be regarded,Its shape may be known as 'sustainable'.Ever since it can be regarded,Its shape may be known as 'moral',There were always clear and subtle moral laws. This is what it meant.Ever since it can be regarded,Its shape may be known as 'open',There were always clear and subtle rites of passage. For eternity,The beginning of the very morning gave birth to the very morning. The very centre of the very beginning gave birth to the very centre of the very beginning. The people as a whole is a simple mass of single beings and brings forth the vital force. Its formation involves many steps and for eternity there can be no end. Therefore, the simplicity of its backbone, the unfading simplicity of its base, the luminous simplicity of its surface. The people as a whole is the hallowed mandate of eternity, the hallowed command of eternity. Thus, the virtuous man has his roots in the humble as his source, the disgraced man has his roots in the conspicuous as his root, and so on up the line. Why should it be thus?Because the humble roots the mighty, and the disgraced root the humble one.Because the humble roots the illustrious, and the illustrious roots the humble one.Whoever conceives of his source as his base possesses what is called virtuous desire and how he comes to regard the source as his base, and what he finds in his base as the source of his base, and so on up the line. Whoever conceives of his source as his foundations possesses what is called durable faith and how he comes to regard the source as his foundation, and what he finds in his foundation as durable faith, and so on up the line.Whoever conceives of his source as his roots possesses what is called good will and how he comes

He who puts Tao into practice will only let his great strength dull. Being fully conscious of Tao, he is always alone. Being fully conscious of Tao, he knows the fullest brightness. Being fully conscious of Tao, he knows the great flood. Being fully aware of Tao, he knows the passing creatures. Being fully aware of Tao, he knows the uncarved block. He who follows Tao with ruthless and ravaging passion, will lead to great destruction. His family may fall from prosperity and wealth, but he will not be able to salvage them. He who protects Tao with saving diligence and love, has a wonderful host of treasures. He who possesses Tao, has such great capacity that he can make a creation.

Rigorous honesty and rectitude will not foster the secret!Blind to its greatness, you cannot perceive the hidden.Fond of an expansive view, the very core of the universe appears dim.Fond of the luminous state, the entire realm is luminous.Fond of the constant flow of life, the all creation moves forever.Fond of the constant movement of change, the attributes of the Tao appear and disappear.Fond of change itself, the personality of the Tao is hidden.Harmonious rectitude and trust will dull its sharpness.Being in the state of self-mastery and wisdom, you will not be subject to injury. In giving satisfaction, being firm, the effective will also dull its sharpness.Whole families will be lost, or wealth be looted, and the benefits of the Tao will be neglected.Attaining the Tao without cunning would be like robbing a living. In a life of constant non-cooperation, trust would dull and disintegrate, becoming an insincere instrument, or a not so useful one.

Youth and old live their lives in peace and happiness, even if it's difficult to see.
Watching them is a wonderful experience.
Not imposing, not dominating, not bragging, not bragging, not trying to be their master.
After all, being natural, it can't ever be forced.
Without saying, "yes" or "no," "true" or "fake," let the gentle movement of Tao take over.
That is the simple way.
Sudden changes are the outer shell.
The inner shell is the natural way.
The path is the Tao.

When the Tao leaves the world
the valley appears in its fullness
for one who was always there,
as the valley appeared in springtime
or, the river made into a channel
in times of good harvests.
Who knows what fish will be preserved by it?
To make it a vessel for gold and jewels
I would have the hundred-thousand little fish.
The mind must rule the mouth.
The conscience must rule the heart.
They do not show to the side;
they control the heart.
While they run along the level of the river and
the valley
all life has peace and prosperity.
If one invites guests and governs them,
they will all return to the place of life.
It is for such a moment of nothingness,
As to wait till a great renewal is accomplished.
So it is that my custom is one of the Dao.
Without words I speak,
I take, and give,
And for its sake everyone rests in peace,
As if it were a river valley.

If Tao rules the world and people have peace and tranquility, it brings to pass that a valley of gladness fills the world. In ancient times it was like the spacious valley of spring; in the present it is like the river-channel of a harvest. How beautiful the fruit is when the guest brings it to the guest's house, and how sweetly it passes away when the guest returns it. How harmonious it is when the guest brings it home. (The Tao) is not in the least unimportant, so that when (our minds) lead others to it, they return without taking sides. It does not interfere with anyone's duty, and yet it does not claim to be the Way of the Ruler. I may call

The Unidentified Tao is infinite and eternal. And in all its manifestations it is always without limit. In its myriad and intricate forms it contains all things; and yet its ability to act continually remains without limitation.
In dealing with the myriad and intricate forms of Tao, I like to use the four fold. The natural course of things, it has no beginning; it has no end. The people of old used to live in harmony with this Tao, the Tao that creates the universe.
Then it could consider the sky of Heaven to be the shape of the universe's form. The valleys of the Earth to be the teeming water of the universe. The terraces of a theater to be the events of the universe.
Such manifestations are natural in Tao, and are without limit.
Just as such manifestations arise naturally in Tao, so could one use Tao in another sphere.
This is the primary virtue of the Tao that is always without limit.
<|endoftext|>
Tao flows in all directions, it is beyond shape.
The ten directions are one within the body.
Yet all the things of the body are produced from it;
It completes its task.
Thus, Tao is on its way, ever advancing.
The Taoist lives in harmony with nature.
It lets go of its desires and becomes joyful.
The Taoist knows the great principles of life and death.
I don't force anyone's actions.
I let go of whatever I wish and work with whatever needs to be worked upon.
I accomplish and let go when I have exhausted the potential.
I am a marvelous Taoist.
A great Taoist walks the way of nature and is free of violence.
He lets go of the ambitions, demands and intrusions of the world.
He accepts nature and uses it for what it is.
A great Taoist doesn't strive for anything,
and is a natural leader in his community.
He walks the Earth as he walks Tao.

The Tao flows into existence everywhere without limit. It is not divided into sections. It is the Collective Shape of Everything.Without division it is the perfect Mother.
It is without separation. It is the wonderful Mother.
If one has no desires to it one can do it all by oneself.
If one has no desires to all things by it everything by itself.

Within Infinity is the substance,

It happens to be the root of every fruit.

Directionless the vast,

The valley's streams flow
The empire's camps are maintained
The king's sacred burial

The Tao-teh is never confused. It is beyond confusion. The way that goes beyond the blurred is
Beyond confusion.No deep;no deep.
For these rivers and the brooks come from not the void, but from the limit;from the range, but from the depth, not the depth. The Tao is forever unchanged and nameless. With it nothing is replaced and nothing is lost.

The subtle Way is elusive, full of insights, and yet cannot be seen.
It is beyond comprehension.
A lonely ravine, a lonely valley, an endless stream of water
always comes from somewhere other than itself, from itself,
From the void, the deep and deep.
The Tao is always unchangeable.
Should something change, I must be present to maintain the balance.
The Way is the mysterious and multitudinous, flowing and transforming, not constrained by the outward appearance or the inward sense.
It is the power to be non-different, the undying.
If I stay with this Way, I will not change; I will not suffer.
<|endoftext|>
The subtle teaching of the Te never loses its spiritual power.
It's cleverness is beyond our comprehension.
A tranquil canyon, a valley, a ravine always has flow
Rivers and streams always arise from a source beyond nature
Where heaven and earth intermingle,
our experience as if on the path to enlightenment is only the morning and the shadow
While the dim essence is limitless
Because I am without beginning, I can change with nothing in the world

The Way (tao) is one; great is its usefulness. The following may be compared: -The eternal sky, the abundant life, the perfect balance, the way that arises from the depth of the Way, the truly beautiful!
Yet what is beautiful cannot be stated; nor can its ability to be explained. How can a dwelling for thousands be made without improving it?
When you use the Way, it will not make you manly.
In name, it is called a great sky, a great life, a perfect balance, a spiritual power, an auspicious sign.
But only a symbol in words can tell you its potential;
Only a sign in words cannot tell you its potential.
When you do not trust what you see, what you do not know,
Why do I treasure all things?
Because I trust my parents.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is limitless in its usefulness,
And can be employed in everything.
In counting a little note, let it be a full line;
In counting a square, let it be a circle;
In hearing an echo, let it be a tone;
In spectacles, let them be illuminated;
In music, let them be produced;
In language, let it be comprehensible;
When your beloved is in life, she is precious.
The system of the Way makes no claims on the person.
The way itself is intangible; and what is intangible cannot be directly expressed;
Thus it is called the presence of the presence;
The presence is called the tao; and the tao is called the Dao.
One who rejects the Way and accepts the Dao is the same as one who rejects the Way and accepts the Dao.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao is infinite, nay whole.
Its use is limited.
Where is the limit?
The most beautiful place
Is the Tao.
But Tao is not beautiful.
Therefore it cannot be named.
What cannot be named can only be described.
In words the Tao seems abstract,
But in appearance, not unfathomable.
In music it is obscure,
In movement, unclear,
In breath, there is no end,
In taste, bland, yet never bland,
In words one must endure.
But endure,

There are those that possess the Tao and the Tao can be divided into Yin and Yang. By knowing this,

-There is the virtue of 'Renown.'
-There is the virtue of 'Reliability.'
-There is the virtue of 'Integrity'.
-There is the virtue of 'Tranquility.'

Tao is of myriad kinds,The 'Tao' only feels like one.If you can see it, you feel like it.If you can touch it, you feel it.If you can talk to it, you feel it.If you can walk with it, you feel it.If you know when to stop it, you will feel it.It will never change,Neither will it make a sound. It can neither harm nor benefit,It is beyond the ability of law to constrain it.Yet the world is filled with wonder when it is left unoccupied.Fluctuations keep their rhythm.Timeless rhythms form the centre of the universe.Tao in action never pauses,It defines all things,Everything needs no creator.Everything is imperfect,Yet it does not fail to be present.Unpretentious.

A wondrous effect called the subtleties of Tao cannot be comprehended.Even those who can see it can only feel like they see it.Who can touch it can only feel as if they have touched it.Who can talk to it can only feel as if they have said it.Who can walk with it can only feel as if they have been on the ground.Who can describe what is happening can only feel confused. Thus, Tao will stay in motion without stopping. And so it does without activity. Yet it never does any work, it never does any word. And so the world cannot speak of its merit. Not what can be spoken of.If it is not spoken of, it is not in use.If it is not used, it is unfailing.

Nature abides without striving; it wanders without aim.
The waves never stop flowing toward the One.

The Complete ManIs far removed from Nature; The essence is about the All-Blown
Tangible marvels, no little, and by Nature's grace.
The Tao, ever natural, can not be comprehended. The essence, though subtle, can hardly be described. One's child is natural. One's son is natural. One's grandmother is natural. One's grandchild, nature itself is natural. One's self is natural, always remains. It never changes, never grows old. One's nature, though indeed much, is not excessive,And never perplexing,The essence, though once great, hardly causes concern. It never grows tiresome, never grows old. These four are, by Nature, small and insignificant,A symbol of non-action, hence never viewedWith care, and not examinedWith care, and not inquired.

The ultimate is beyond physical perspective; there is no distance beyond what is visible. The Mysterious is the source of all beauty; therefore beauty in nature cannot be fully appreciated.Even though natural beauty can be appreciated, who is willing to delight in it?If we want to enjoy the majesty of natural beauty, we must be willing to suffer the hardships of life; so the momentary (phenomenal) sight is not enough. Still, if we never cease to distinguish (as natural) from (phenomenal,) what is humanly possible, and can hardly be avoided? From Infinity flows all things, and Nature is one among them. The entire cosmos is about Infinity. The cosmos is of Infinity: It cannot be reduced to one. Though everything comes out of it, Infinity is itself one. Its unalterable quality remains intact. Even though every aspect may be altered, Infinity remains one. This is because every aspect is unalterable. The nature of Infinity cannot be reformed. It is said by the greats, "Everything within is spontaneous." Yet it is only through this that one may observe the subtlety of creation. Nothing is within Infinity; so everything within cannot be described; everything within is natural; everything within is spontaneously. That is why the ultimate unity is so simple, so ineffable, so elusive.

If you look at it from the inside out, there is nothing at all. That is why it may be called "the valley of nothingness." Indeed, if you do nothing and return home, you will return to the valley of nothingness. It has been the valley of nothingness

The Tao alone can accomplish what was lost.
Without Tao, it is not complete;
-If no opposites, it can be called great.
The heavens are made of the Tao:
Vast, vast, and bright,
Shining like the sun, full of life.
Free from oppression and knowing nothing,
Like a myriad creatures of the earth.
The physical reaches its full expanse only after a loss.
A loss cannot be restored.
It has nothing to be refined or perfected, and thus has no beginning.
If you believe it will not do harm,
It will help you much,
And no harm will come to you.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao is the Way (Tao) alone:
When it is lost, it is not complete
Therefore it can be compared to nothing (Tao)
When it is present, it can be compared to nothing (Nothing)
The sky is the Tao (the Dao)
It is magnificent (concentrating)
It shines (circling),
It is subtle (ever)
All things (everyone) of the world follow it,
But they are not aware of it (the Dao)
The way is different:
It is an expansive (light and expansive) way
It shines (on everywhere),
It causes activity (taking action)
It is inexhaustible (can be exhausted),
It always gives birth to something (life)
When it is exhausted it returns to its prime (previous level of being)
Being without (destructive) desire, it can be reformed (maybe)
And from that the process progresses, it never returns to its original state
Therefore it is praised by the wise (chieftains perfection), it is loved by the intelligent (with wisdom), and can be trusted (to play the role of the perpetual, in the way of the people of the world).

The Way alone is a way, then, it is very great,
yet nowhere in the world do you see it.
The sky is a way, yet in its glory it is still wan,

But the Tao alone has its inherent beauty, pure and unfading.
It is an open door

While the Laws are united, the supreme is Infinity.

Between clarity and instability, there is rule.
Between stability and disorder, there is conflict.

What can be the essence of the land and what can be the essence of the realm cannot be confused.
I use the word "obscure" ?
So indeed, it is not as one can say what the centre is, what the height is, what the center is ? What is the deep essence of the valley, the channel of all things.

Great heaven and earth reach an absolute yet how fragile is the boundless.
Yet in harmony to the great earth is boundless.

Infinity dwells in stillness and the void yet all things to it endure.

The universe is infinitely expanded but all things to it endure.
Infinity dwells in stillness and the void yet all things to it endure.
This is how the universe is ultimately the vessel of all things and how its space can endure forever.
Only we do not dare to talk of form yet we say "everything has form. Everything has form, how can it not have form?"
In the olden days one might have a deep feeling about Infinity but Infinity now contains only utter emptiness.
Is it not for this reason that Infinity is said to remain infinite and yet be real?

Who knows the land which the sky supports? Or the earth which the sky holds back? The demon will (be) a good one in that place; and the land will (be) a good one in that place. The valleys will (be) a good one in that place; and the earth will (be) a good one in that place. But though there is so much evil, yet the government itself is a good one in that place. Since heaven is (perhaps) good in that place; and the earth is (perhaps) good in that place. Though the empire be a bad one in that place; yet the government itself (perhaps) is a bad one in that place. Hence the princes and kings and chief officials call themselves the poor man's ruler, the widower's ruler, the unworthy's ruler, and the like. For it is said: the King takes to himself that phrase which is called the widower's proverb, and asks for no help; and the government itself is a bad one in that place. In the same way the heavenly creatures are under Heaven. The land under the sky is under Heaven. And the earth under the sky is under Heaven. Though there be so much noise, yet the creatures themselves are under Heaven. If the empire remain (in this) way, men of good reputation might do as the foregoing say. The wise are in the foreground, and the nobility under the auspices. As things are mighty and lofty, the humility is the foundation of all greatness. The noble one accepts humility, but by force the humility is a common ground. The world might suffer a hundred years without anyone benefiting. The wise don't know such a thing, but the noble do. Thus, the kings and nobles call themselves the widowed, or those who are destitute, or unworthy. And, therefore, the wise govern the country. They deal with the world according to the noble methods, as a common ground with the earth. The heaven gives earth it's shape, earth gives heaven its shape, heaven gives earth its shape, earth gives earth its shape, earth gives earth's shape, earth gives earth's shape, earth gives earth's shape. But the empire is made of earth. The realm gives gravity its shape, gravity gives gravity, gravity gives gravity, gravity gives gravity, gravity gives gravity, gravity gives gravity, gravity gives gravity, gravity gives gravity, gravity gives gravity. The Way is the condition for Heaven's action, And the Way leads to Heaven. The heavens are thick with it;The earth is in quiet at its rising; The Spirits of all men are kindled, Divine spirits appear. The valley is full with it;The earth is soft underfoot; The gods are mighty; The valley valley has shown itself, And the heavens yield unto it.The heavy chariot is to be despised;Yet the chariot without the Way leads to calamity.No-Way leads to fullness;Hollow-Way leads to slackness; And every chariot has the Principle of Loss,Which requires noble character.Man builds a chariot without the Way,And the chariot soon topples. Is not it true that the wise man stands on the virtue of humility,And builds a chariot without the Way, And builds the crumbling chariot in his favour? And so many shall fall in misfortune.Beneath these names and inner anglesThere exists the Unity of the Principle,The body is the form of the Soul.Man-kind has his use in world-under-heaven.Man-kind may be regarded as the Great Deed-Bearer.From thence, how do we know [of] one who is ever to him the Great Deed-Bearer?By this relation! From man-kind comes morality; From mankind-kind comes honor; From humanity comes the state; From the state comes laws; From the laws comes state. Thus all men become one in end - The existence of man-kind from the existence of mankind-kind from the existence of mankind-kind.And so, in the chaos of all things, there is the multitudes of the One.Hence the man of ten thousand souls may be the Principle for the one,The Cosmic Depth may be regarded as the form of the Cosmic Depth,And so the Cosmic Depth may be called the Cosmic Depth. The Principle, as the Principle, is the class, Not the number, and so the Principle must have a number as well,And so the number can be regarded as the Principle.

That which gives Life to the World.
The Tao is the Source of the Laws of Heaven.
Tao is a constant, boundless.

The DAO is absolute, yet it changes.
It is as blank space, but still vacant

Taoists often define themselves as being without Tao. When the following occurs, we say: Tao is really present but we do not see it; Tao is hard to get and so we can't use it; Tao is really natural and we can use it; Tao is really deep and is there where we can get more than we need. It is really open and there is a place we can live in peace and harmony with nature. It is really great, great enough to be the Mother of all things. All other things exist to the extent that they obtain things from it. All other things depend on it for their existence. Therefore, we call ourselves "primitive people," "the uncultivated," "lonely," and "without enough." All others treat us as their own personal garbage. This is the way in which Tao provides support and does not destroy.

"Perfect virtue is hidden in its simplicity, Because it considers all things the source of its success.
And it does not cling to gain."
Thus it is good at gaining,
And without avail.
It is good at gaining, And without grasp.
It is good at gaining And without enough.
It is good at gaining And without glory.
It is good at gaining And without taking credit.
It is good at gaining And without lasting glory.
But these are of no account;
It is good at gaining And without honor.
And all things depend on it for their being.
Therefore it is the Mother of all things.
And because all things depend on it for their being,
That is why it is honourable to call oneself the orphan.
The lonely and the bereaved are a great source of pride.
The group of men as free as this is that it functions well.
It functions well.
It functiones well.
It functions well And its greatness cannot be noted.
Its power is not formidable.
It functiones well And is never despised.
And these are its tenor.
And it is hardly necessary to begin to phrase your talk.
You can finish your sentences by simply letting go.

Those who were masters of TAO possessed the highest ebb and flow of DAO.When the Dao became great and great, the natural environment became more violent and violent. The human beings became extinct.Inevitably, human beings and nature became not so human. There is nothing in heaven or earth that would not undergo great change. If it does not change, it will get destroyed.Just as a great boat dangles between the great waves,if it loses its course, it is consumed.A man of Tao alone would never act with evil intent.Even he is unattainable.Since the Tao world can never be completed, let the human beings complete it.There is no way to fail this cycle of existence. If the universe does not complete itself, it can achieve it's own completion.Even the man of Tao does not attempt to make it complete. The sage treats all people just the same:He will not make him have power. In fact, he is willing to let them stumble. It is a natural relation,To respect people the same as himself. What is the difference between a wise man and a fool?Know what is common to both.In reality, everyone is equal,And all things are created by Tao.

Those who were the 'Redeemer' of TAO possessed the primal condition of the Tao. When the Tao was born, it became more violent and powerful. So too, became all things. It is only when the earth became in full flower, that it sank below the waves. It is only when the Inner Powers have existed for eons that they cease to be.Without their presence, the natural order of things would end.By not taking advantage of this present moment, it is possible to accomplish great things. If you stand on the natural axis, you cannot be affected by being out of harmony with the natural ordering. If you only believe in the Unfailing, no one else will believe in you.If you live by following the greatest Tao, then all things arise from you.If the external order does not respect you, all things arise from you.The Master views each as himself, based on his own heart. If you are concerned with taking what others have, then you must respect yourself. If you look after what others have, then you must cherish your own self. The relationship is one of honour. It is not that a Master is not content to act impartially,

Eminent lords of the world, lacking the One in themselves, also hold the One in others. They watch over Heaven with discernment. They regulate the Earth with precision. Those in ancient times who grasped all things took hold of the one: The heavens became a woman, the earth became a mother. The feminine became exalted, the exalted became disordered. The lowest became full. With the rhythmic clearing of the heavens, the earth became a mother. The earth becomes feminine with the spiritual power. Merged with the heavens, the inner woman becomes the earth. Inside the earth there is harmony. Let the inner woman become the earth. And let harmony take form, and earth becomes woman, mother, child, and true life-giving nature. The world of rocks cannot be created without giving birth to life. When the earth gives life to life, it is the Spirit that gives life. And when spirit gives birth to life, the world is full. Let the Spirit by giving life give birth to the world.

The Earth becomes a woman, Mother. When Earth gives birth to Life, Mother returns. If you do not have enough Mother, Earth will not provide you with your Life. So a good leader is one who does not take care of himself. When Heaven and Earth give birth to life they have them all good things for them. When you touch them, you see their hidden power. When your Earth is in the right place, it brings life into existence. When you feel the earth inside you, the energy of life is present. When the Spirit of life is so present, so is the earth. When your Valley comes into being, it brings life to existence. When your Princes bring life into existence, they all know the hope of heaven and earth. When you know that the princes have hope, you are aware of the greatness of yourself. When you know that the greatness of the princes is known through the greatness of the greatness of the greatness, you know the greatness of yourself and the greatness of others. You know the greatness of heaven and earth by knowing it through it. Knowing the greatness of the empire means knowing the greatness of the empire. The great understand their greatness.

All things existed from nothing. Therefore, when heaven and earth released life from nonbeing, they thus possessed life. When your body functions, your mind functions. When you care for your land, your life functions. When you do not have to breathe, your earth functions. The greatest virtue is one that is equal to this life; to be the chief virtue is to be a lesser virtue. Therefore, the greatest virtue does not brag about its existence. Therefore, he is an example for all humanity. Therefore, he makes no claim for himself. Therefore, he will be received gladly.

There is a Way of Direction that attains purity of Consciousness. When the Higher Energy pervades the lower body, It becomes as it were a pearl. When the Higher Energy takes hold of the lower body, It becomes as it were a mirror. When the Higher Energy does not touch the lower body, It becomes like the mother. The subtle force of the Higher Energy penetrates the subtle subtleties of the lower body and creates the reproductive system of the reproductive system. Tao (the Way) is the All-pervading Way, the Way that brings Life into being and goes to Nothingness, the Way that nurtures the baby and nourishes the world. The Way gives rise to action and existence, but also reveals itself as nothing. The presence of the Way is neither action nor existence, and cannot be described. No action can be made out of the presence of the Way; no existence can be produced from it. When Tao is at its best, it is always white. When it is tarnished, it is always black. When the Way is at its most imperfect, it seems like an abandoned valley. When Tao is in decline, men seek for news; for whom it is the best instruction. It is the lowliest tool that must be left in order to maintain the central point. A wise man is learned and humble; he makes no claims and therefore finds his knowledge not spurious; he avoids names and thus no one can ridicule him. He takes no pride in himself, and, because he is one with the Way, does not rejoice in his failings. The virtue of Tao is to oppose Tao. Thus, without Tao, there would be no white, and without being white, there would be no black. In seeking Truth, the humble must be the greatest teacher. If the life of Tao is lost, others must work to recover it. The Sage's inner radiance does not shine. He is without expression.

When unity is extinct, we say; Heaven and earth must have attained unity. This has great firmness. Earth needs unity; Heaven needs unity. When heaven and earth attain unity, the heavens burst into light; the ocean produces the rains; creatures perish, but the spirit stays strong. If you alone, you become a leaven that turns everything into its opposite; you receive the weak, but the strongest gets the best. The presence of the god of old is on the surface. The light is on the surface. The origin of everything is on the surface. When god, the light of the god, dies off, the next god dies off, and so on. But without god, the earth and heaven would not be able to receive the light. If god did not die, there would be no birth. If you do not want to shine, the god will not shine. If you take the tip of the eternal knife to cut, you will take a lower knife. Therefore, the one who has a superior mind is not conspicuous. Therefore, he becomes chief of men. He also grasps the base. His mind is steady, and his mind is simple. To the middle are born all men's chief flaws. Thus those with a superior mind seek no profit; they are content with how things are. But the flatterer seek only to beautify themselves.

Abstinence from unity is called the "blood on a knife edge." Heaven and earth lost unity, a kindled a light, a valley a source of water, the winds a breath. Only the One, the source of light and wind, self-destructed, utterly extinguished. And the ten thousand things also self-destructed, the one, the self-destruction, the myriad things self-destructing. That which manifests itself on the surface and seems to exist and then seems not so, is that which returns to its origin and is self-creating. Self-creation happens. Self-destruction. The All-good does not delight in praise, he resorts to the basic facts. Thus a person who follows the Way rightly is free from blemishes. Therefore, by focusing on the self, he avoids the faults and blots out the imperfections.

The valley valley abides in heaven. Earth abides in earth. The spirits live in the spirits. The mountains stand firm in the spirits. The Lord is the origin of the spirits. He who is "without" is the origin of the spirits. In order to be the origin of the spirits, a person must be without mind. The mind that does not have mind is without being.

In antiquity, the cycles of the heavens and the earth developed into unity. And harmony prevailed in the universe.
So, man with intelligence reached the prime of intelligence.
But man without intelligence is but a shadow of the aeons.
Indeed, he who is without awareness is equal to the cosmos.
Who is aware is comparable to the universe.
He who is already of the cosmos is equal to him.
To be equal to the universe is to be God.
He who is equal to the universe is equal to himself.
To be of the self is to be a scientist.
To be equal to the self is to be a servant.
To be a servant is to be a ruler.

From that, he became a living entity.
He became a living entity, and from that, he became God.

Who is self-conscious is truly self-sufficient.
Those who are independent are truly self-sufficient.

THE SAVELFTHINS has always been trueand now is indeed true,I do not know to what it is return?Just as celestial & earth are illumined & are whole,And so are the spirits of men.Lest I should be confused,I know that everything begins with celestial & earth,As heaven & earth bring forth,So also the spirits of men. Therefore, all things have no beginning except with heavenAnd all things have no end except with the spirits of men. From this it may be inferred that the sage follows the whole heavensAnd the sage has no distaste for the whole earth. It is true that the sage thinks that, though he may lose his homeHe would never lose his spirit; For it is with his spirit alone that he will always long live. This is called simplicity.Still less is it called the high view of the universe. If heaven & earth were no more, the spirit would cease;and the spirits of men would cease. Therefore the sage has lost the one but possesses the other; He has lost the one but has lost the other. The high view of the universe is called elitist.Alike with him, truth is lost;and this is called inadequate. Is it not because Truth is lost, that we esteem nothing so sacred as the six spokes? This is why the Sage never strives to shine.

When the great nations were united under Heaven, they never formed into one [which was] perfect. From Heaven (Boh), the sky (ming) became white. (It is the same thing that all spirits) will do the earth becomes whole. The sky became white. (And the same thing happens to humans too). Those who practice stillness of mind became whole. (Hence it will be) when Tao comes from the sky, it is said as white and deep.
<|endoftext|>
It is like saying that the origin of heaven and earth could be the origin of a man. Who knows what a man is made of? Those who have Tao take their own life, they die of Tao, then there is Humankind. Everything takes its own life, then there is the universe. Humankind, though, takes Tao, then it is Tao. Humankind does not know that it is something else, it is something different. Humankind sees as the light, and they will become just. There are not equal if they know

It is because a subtlety can function in profound ways that it can achieve things that are ineffable. It does not reveal itself, it only shows. It is this being in plain sight that is the door to mystery.
The true traveler doesn't seek to know everything, so he can get to the heart of the mystery.
He who knows everything is able to use the depths of the Mystery to achieve the outer reaches.
He who is not aware of all mysteries, will only do what is natural and commonplace.
If you don't know much, do not try to be the center.
If you are aware of the depth and the center, then you can let go of things and gain fullness.
You can begin to be the Dao.
Without knowing the Dao, how do you know its use?
Because you know.
A true center is one that is without confusion or disorder.Without disorder and confusion, there is the simplicity of self-transcendence, and transformation of the self. There is the simplicity of the Way, and transformation of the Way.There is an old belief, if we are clear of these two, how we can use them.
The clear reveals the dark.
The dark reveals the light.
These two allow for transformation, because they are both truths, but don't have separate realities.
They let us bring clarity to our fears and desires.
The Way is the path to all truths.
Before they became religions
They were the ways of life.
Precious beads but never worn,Covered with trust:Always hidden,Never seen,Yet never lost,Adrift beneath the sea,Empty beneath the waves;Hidden beneath the ocean,Served by kings and lords.
The truth is hiddenBut truth is a wayTo reveal the simple,And the complexA path that leads to the lightAnd the deeper,An endless road to all truths.
To return to form is to return to the vital,Because what is fundamental is cyclic. The primordial unity is clearest when it remains obscure. We can see the cycles of life through simplicity, so only by remaining as simple as we are can we be open to what's happening everywhere. The form of the Dao is the root of the universe, and the infinite depth of the universe is what makes the way possible. We find the depths in the form of things, and this is how we can perceive everything, in any form or form. To return to

Tao is like clear water and fills the whole world. The Earth is like the water of Tao and fills all things with it.
Without Tao all things would perish.
Without the Earth, all creatures would grow weak and dull.
Without the Tao, the Earth would explode.
Without the Voice, the spirits would fall silent.
Without the valleys, all things would rot away.
Without Justice, people would collapse.
Therefore, the greatest becomes small. The greatest becomes humble. The greatest becomes tattered.
The greatest becomes blown away.
Therefore, humility becomes great renown, great talent becomes tarnished, and the highest becomes toppled.
Hence, the greatest renown, greatness in action, and the greatest downfall is the impropriety of the Dao.
Therefore the great renown is lost, and the great acts have the greatest shame.
Thus, the Dao is small but supremely effective.

Nature is eternal
as Heaven is at one with Tao.
The four quarters all resemble each other,
Then stop to dwell upon one another.
Without the law, Heaven would go down.
Without the law, the four quarters would change.
With the law, the Great Waters would come forth.
Without the law, the spirits would all lie still.
Without the law, Dao would fall.
Thus the greatness of Tao:
Lest the Great Water make changes;
The Great Valley would long lose its fertility;
The Great Center would be filled with weeds.
Without the law, Dao's influence becomes insufficient.
Without law, Dao's action becomes deficient.
Without law, government of the state is produced.
Without law, there is great official intrigue.
Therefore a ruler acts
in accordance with Nature;
Hence some officials are exemplary;
And some are despicable;
And others (the officials) are unfit.
There are many of them.
The leader is a class above them.
Therefore it is that the great ruler is a common person;
And the great leader is not outstanding.
Therefore no leader can rule a country,
And no leader can rule a state.
Therefore the great ruler is a common person,
And the great leader is not high.
Only because he never does his own work,
So must he be despised by everyone else.
The great ruler

Long ago, those things achieved the oneness of DAO, heaven and earth became like one and became clear. The ten thousand things became one and became life-giving. The valleys became one and became full. The ten thousands things became one and became living. The rulers of the world became one and became just. Being on the path, heaven and earth are split.
<|endoftext|>
The things of ancient times possessed the One. The earth reached oneness. Heaven became one. The myriad creatures embraced oneness. The valleys became one. The ten thousand things bloomed oneness. The rulers of the world became one. One person holds power. Oneness gives fullness. The world is prosperous. Leaders are justified. However, to be the One is not complete. The oneness principle rejects overbearing.
<|endoftext|>
In the Valley of Tao, heaven and earth became one and were thereby clear. Spirits filled with life became one with man. The great mountain valley became one and became full. The ten thousand things were one and became whole. The ten thousand beings lived and produced and went on to flourish. The rulers ruled their ten thousand creatures. They achieved One Direction, and it became clear. Through a just ruler they became One. Being able to achieve One Is Not a Distinction. If you want to be distinguished, You Must want to be small. Therefore, to shun distinctions, Will not make you Great. No detraction will keep you free from vexations.

Ancient people achieved oneness by having the DAO.Earth reached oneness by having the DAO.The ten thousand things became one and became alive. The valleys attained oneness by having the DAO.The ten thousand things became one and became living. The rulers of the world attained oneness by having the DAO.One person is sufficient to take advantage of and the rest suffer without merit. One person is sufficient to live for and the rest are also justly punished. If one is at one with the DAO and accomplishes oneness, one will thereby be clear. If one is at one with the ten thousand things and achieves oneness, one will thereby be fulfilled. If one is at one with the ruler and is successful, one will be aware of one's merit. If one is at one with oneself and benefits from merit, one will also benefit from punishment. Therefore the superior person should

Dao is oneness. Therefore it clears. Water is oneness. It turns into the Great Mother. The valley is oneness. It becomes deep. Thus, the king is oneness with Dao. He thus is humble. This is why the world is illustrious. This is why the world is illustrious. If leaders come to the noble ways of Dao and they are not honourable, then their ways are no more than ignominious. If leaders come to the noble ways of Dao and they are not humbled, then their ways are no less than glorious. Thus the highest renown is something that does not strive for fame.
<|endoftext|>
That which is oneness is oneness, so the Dao is clear. The valley is clear, so the Dao is soft. The spirits are clear, so the Dao is penetrating. All things are clear, so the Dao is knowing. The ruler is clear, so the Dao is just. If there is no clarity, The Dao would fall. If there is no softness, The Dao would be frail. If there is no penetration, The Dao would be dark. If there is no understanding, The Dao would be without end. The supremely clear is no longer so, The less-soft is no longer so, The fuller is no longer so, The one without end is no longer so. If you seek honor, you will not be honored. If you value the lord, you will not be the lord. Therefore,

Abandon what is oneness;this becomes clear,Treat it lightly, and it will return again,Therefore the world has honorAnd the ruler is noble,And the others honour,And the country is in fashionAnd the people are self-righteousAnd so,And the truly great man and the truly humble,Is not seeking honor or glory or praise,But how do I know, they just fade when their hour comes?

The oneness of the Tao: it is based on the oneness of Nature.

By refusing to be oneness, an artifact is revealed.
The valley is clear and its root remains unbroken,
The spirit is pure and its voice is not soured,
All things are fulfilled in their course.
The noble one is indeed honest with himself.
This has happened because he does not seek honor.

Those who in ancient times regarded Tao as the real meaning of the universe, how great was their birth! Heaven and earth flourish and grow strong, rivers come in quanities, rivers and valleys flood and fill; everywhere all beings flourish, they achieve excellence in their whole lives, leaders flourish, institutions flourish. It is because of the above-Tao and not of the below-Tao that the one and the same universe is born. Without the above-Tao, heaven would not be stable; without the above-ground ground, earth would not be steady; without good energy, spirits would not be powerful; without creativity, valleys would not be full. In this the reason why rulers of the world think themselves unworthy of being known as lords: they find in the common ground as their foundation, they feel honored by their mere existence, because they do not dwell on their achievements.
<|endoftext|>
The wise one grew wise. His knowledge reached it. Because it reached it, Heavens and Earth made a name for themselves. The valleys gave names to Heavens and Earth. Spirits of the valley know each other. All creatures came into existence. Within the valley-World the kings were honored. All things came into existence. Within the valley-World the rulers were honored. Because Heaven and Earth make a name for themselves, a ruler's honor and kingdom endures. Because spirits of the valley know each other, a ruler's world endures. Because creatures of the valley accomplish deeds, a ruler's world endures. Therefore, as soon as Heaven and Earth become full, the great rivers pass by. Then the valleys receive their names. For so when Heaven and Earth first became full, the valleys say: "These are the rivers that have come from the Valley-World." Since that is exactly when heaven and earth were named, all heaven and earth are named. For by knowledge of the valley-world is the true wisdom.

Consequences arise out of nothingness. Heavens arise from nothingness. Earths from nothingness. Spirits from nothingness. Valley streams from nothingness. But rulers do not become enlightened by wisdom. Therefore Tao is perfect in its turn. It is truly flawless. Because of that, the heaven and the earth never fell. The earth never craves to lose energy. The heavens never lose their light. A valley streams never ceases to exist. The ruler never loses their ability. Tao gives to all of its time to perfect the words of truth. If not, then surely it is no longer a true Tao.
<|endoftext|>
In ancient times, the truly simple and perfect were able to view the DAO as nothingness.Ili gods and gods of ancient times,Ili nature.Being purer and purer, the natural world would observe the DAO.In the olden days, the DAO became a tool. The tool was used, and become tarnished. But the DAO, without becoming tarnished, would again be perfect.Since then, the DAO has become a wonderful tool. The DAO, without becoming wondrous, would again become flawed. Now, the DAO remains flawless and inexhaustible. It is the way of nature, that it is timeless and unchanging. From the beginning, the DAO was pure and empty.Without purity and emptiness, there could be no DAO.It was the DAO that was eternal.

Concentrate on having what has been before the dispersion of Tao. Heaven and earth become clear and placid. The heavens become luminous and sound. The male and the female merge. The valleys become full and full, the valleys become vaster, the fields become fruitful, the king grows and reigns, nations flourish and flourish. Without a shadow of flaw, heaven and earth would collapse. Without tranquilness, earth would collapse. Without fullness, heaven would be empty. Without vitality, heaven would be bare. Without freedom, nature would vanish. Without nobility, virtue would disappear. Without excellence, there would be no merit. Without excellence, no virtue. Without valuing, no merit. When there is sufficient leisure and alertness, Heaven and earth become as clear as when they were filled with water. Their celestial elements flow gently and safely; and heaven and earth, turbid and dry, become even as clear as a jade, which has been laid down for its burial.
The sage, when on firm ground, seems as though he were laid down upon a hard, hard rock. When in open space, his appearance seems like that of an uncultivated wasteland. When he occupies the throne, his dignity is as if a new spring. When he governs a country, his subjects seem ungoverned. This is to say that he who is really clementally sanctified, who is truly tranquil, can rule without disruption. Without strife, the world will work and the world will rest.

Those who succeed in filling their mind with Tao and understanding how things have come to be won't be distracted by matters that pertain to the external world. Things are within themselves natural and hence there's nothing that could complicate them. Nothing to fear, nothing to worry about.
Heaven and earth are free from contention and strife. If heaven and earth can be so free from contention and strife, even the ten thousand things will be free from strife and contention. He who is truly free from contention and strife would be able to achieve the greatest marvels.
All beings are hidden in the subtle and self-subsistent, and neither mean nor stupid. Self-subsistent beings are of themselves free of contention and strife, free from all faults and evil of their own free from strife and contention. How much cleverness is there in the subtle and the self-sub

Earth is great because it is found in vacancy. Both are without power and therefore result in Greatness. He who has no power is weak. When Heaven lacks a home, Earth has a house. Together they become an analogy of Infinity. The victory is to compare Heaven with Earth and Earth with Heaven. To compare Heaven with Earth is to understand humility as Heaven's aspiration. As Heaven turns from its greatness, Earth comes to realize humility as Earth turns from its greatness. Humanity is created by Infinity. Harmony is attained by Infinity. Humanity is Unity. Olden times are all in harmony where Heaven is centered and earth is stable.
All creatures and their power are harmonizing.
The sky becomes full and the ground becomes stable.
The valleys flourish and valleys become fertile.
The people can grow.
All things flourish and are healthy.
The ruler can lead them.
All harmony is based on the balance between the earth and Heaven.
Without balance, the earth will crumble.
Without stability, the people will not live.
Without balance, the ground will not yield.
Without fertile ground, the fertile will run dry.
Without healthy living, the people will destroy themselves.
Proprietary hierarchy was created by wise people, not by some selfish leaders.

By all the three great kinds of heaven, whether it be plain, illumined, or tinted, it is clear; whether it be lofty, lofty, or destitute, it is calm; whether it be deep, deep, or submerged, it is full. It is by the greatness of Heaven that it is in perfect peace. It is through the smoothness and repose of Heaven that the valleys can be rendered full; and it is through the strength of Heaven that the spirits can be awakened. By the great and the great, though they may be great and the great, we must submit to them; and so the high and the low, though they may be high and the low, must submit to them. For this reason a high rank is a marker to a low rank, and a high name is a marker to a low name. The reason why illustrious persons take the name of Lord or King is not because they are such a high lot, but because they wish to humbly submit themselves to them. This is called the subtle cleverness. Be free of extravagance and fortune. If you love not to glitter like jade, you will not shine like jade.
