If you're passionate, excited, excited, you're acting rashly, and acting rashly, you're acting like a fool.When things are going according to Tao's way, the weight of things is evenly distributed evenly, and never one side dominates the other side. When things are evenly distributed evenly, this means everything will be truly free from danger.

All things owe their existence to the great Tao.All things owe their existence to the great Tao.It gives existence to the small; it gives existence to the great.Therefore, the Sage of the Great Tao never forgets a thing, nor does he hate any thing.He does not think things evil; he does not care about anything.As long as he lives in the world, he does not interfere with the affairs of the world; so, whenever the world is destroyed, he is able to step into it and maintain its prosperity and activity.As long as he lives in the world, the Sages of the world cannot be despised.Therefore the wise man believes in the Eternal Tao, but finds no proof for it.

The Way, though it extends from the innermost recesses of the Cosmic Consciousness, never seeks to be a source for humanity or praise. Rather, all things in the cosmos are produced through this Way, so it flows naturally from the depths of the Cosmos. Whenever we turn our attention inward and use our consciousness to see only images and patterns, we are drawing from the principle of Karma, which is always moving on and off between the limits of Infinity.If we look at the uncarved wood of a carving, we are looking at all the work of Karma. We need to avoid this if we desire to imitate their way.If you want to glorify yourself, you must be content to look up to the Laws of the Universe.

Wisdom & Virtue are one;they belong to the All-pervasive Way.The Way is blind beyond all discernment.It seems to show itself everywhere.I look at it; it's everywhere.All beings emerge & develop through this Way;It endures until they are no longer conscious of being anything.It is ever present, it seems to be everywhere;I look at it, it's everywhere.It dwells in a state of change;It returns to the Great Simplicity.To have glory, a man must depend on the Great Simplicity.

The Tao is the Tao. It is the Gateway of all things.It is ever present in every moment.Wherever one looks, there is indeed some Tao.Wherever the mind wanders, there is indeed some Tao.In the universe there are many forms,and each may be accounted for as a Tao.Whatever occurs to a man or a thing or an energy is a part of Tao.Being Tao, one cannot be anything else.Although we do not like it,To abide by the Tao is to remain in harmony with everything.

The tao has no center,
yet It can guide and guide freely.
From infancy through to old,
It continues to guide all beings,
but it is also also able to do it little.
Throughout its countless thousands of existence,
It never ceases to exert its action.
It never allows others to exert themselves.
Not requiring or claiming praise,
It is so humble and supplicants.
Not pursuing its ambitions,
It is so complete.
Whoever wishes to attain Tao,
He must first learn to accept the Tao.
He must first learn to accept his own individuality.
He must first learn to receive the Tao.
He must accept that not all things will come to him,
and then he can continue, his own way of passing on.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao moves in quiet yet ever has beauty in it's presence.
It moves all people into being and supports them and brings forth and contains.
It creates and sustains everywhere.
And yet, it is not in the knowledge of it;
Because it will never want to be worshipped.
Because it knows not to dwell. Because it brings things to life.
It is without end.
The Tao permeates everything and thus accomplishes everything.
The Tao never strives, but ever creates in its own way.
It does not desire but serves all who are its members.
It does not act but meets all needs.
Because of this, it brings to fruition all which is in its path.
Thus the man who is once free of the Tao,
lives his life
and does so, without accomplishment,
in the mid air.
<|endoftext|>
In his Tao there is always light, And as always there is life and that which exists.
All creation depends on it, The Tao never forces anyone to take action.
The One does not act, And so does all things, All things, in turn, act on All Things, And yet there is no compulsion from the Tao.
If you wish to do something, you must do it.
If you want to act, then do so; if you have done it, then keep on doing it. If you wish to show, then do so, And if you have shown, then do so.
If you wish to know everything then you must know.
When you know everything, then know

From the beginning of the universe to the present day, the Tao has not yet spoken. It never thought of making a speech, for the reason: 'the Tao is without speech, speech is not without the Tao'. Let there be the present! Let there be the past! Let the present there be. Since the Tao is always present, there are no limits to its service. Since the Tao never limits its service, there can be no limitations to its work. The world is nurtured by the Tao, and all things are nurtured by the Tao. The world is nourished by the Tao and the Tao is nothing more than a guest.

From the beginning of the universe to now. The One Without A name has never spoken,It has no words for the purpose,Its essence forever unfathomable.Wherefore all things spring from it,Each stands on it as if,they were a newborn child:It is a welcoming presence:It is an absence that does not speak.

The beginning of Tao is unknowable.
Tao is forever elusive, mysteriously absent from discussion. How can there be a discussion? The Tao manifests without a form. If it were made into a form it would be vague. I do not know how the Tao became so elusive, the absence of a form so elusive. I do not know how Tao, or the emptiness of Tao, ever appeared. And I do not know how the Tao, or the infinity of Tao, ever appears. If Tao were a thing I do not understand, What is it like to be so? Like an infinite or a diminutive, I look at it with reluctance, Call it "the Invisible," "without form," "unfathomable."

Other virtues are mere presences, but Tao is at the center of the universe.It is the mother of the things in the universe, and all things owe their origin to it.In the Tao, everything is contained and everything manifests itself as it chooses.Therefore, one should not try to manipulate things,Because one is ultimately without desire.One should not take things for granted,Because one is able to achieve success.What is great is not great because it does not practice seeking greatness.
The uncarved woodworker doesn't start from the beginning;Therefore, he is ever-present in the world.The Tao is the mother of all things.She nourishes all things and produces them.When she manifests, she provides nourishment.If she wishes, she is always receptive.If she does not wish, she will create.If you wish, you will not succeed.That is the way of the world.
Heaven and earth were created by Tao.
The Tao that pervades the world Is the mother of all things.
The things on earth have the purpose of loving and nourishing Tao
As well as be born.

is they all become real.
He alone is above everything,
The One And eternal.

Goodness, goodness alone, has no virtues, which are the basis of Infinity. Therefore, the sage practices benevolence, who also seeks to do good to all people. This causes all people to attain their inner desire and become good people. The sage therefore does not try to control them; does not try to force them to do his will; does not think that they should conform to his way of life. Because he does not force them, he does not feel obligated to do so. Because they do not do his bidding, he has no need of having them to do so.He does not deny himself to be truly what he is.
<|endoftext|>
The best of everything is goodness alone, which has no feature. This is its foundation. Therefore, the sage abides in benevolence, or the great compassion, which produces that which is inexhaustible. He does not try to elevate people. He does not try to push them. He does not try to coerce them. Because he does not coerce, he does not feel that he is superior to others. Because he does not feel himself superior to others, he does not feel in need of this.He does not need to be superior to others, because he does not try to justify himself. Thus, he does not need to justify himself.He does not need to justify himself, so therefore he does not need to justify himself.He does not justify himself, so therefore he does not need to justify himself.Therefore, he does not try to justify himself, because he does not need to justify himself.He does not justify himself, so therefore he does not need to justify himself.He does not justify himself because he is beyond knowledge. Without a desire to live, the Uncaused Tao pervades,
Dispossessing nothing,
Free of reproach or blame,
It is supremely peaceful.
Yet in everything it accomplishes its purpose,
And has no pretense to reason;
It moves with the purest compassion,
Never forcing the masses to change;
It does not take oaths to those who know;
It nurtures without needing nourishment,
It never denies its subjects;
And is there ever an exception?
It contains and encompasses all things and is eternal.

The great Eternal Tao,
Its light seems distant,

We do not need anything;
We do not depend on others,
Yet it is strong.

There are universal laws of motion:To move a wheel requires energy to press a bolt, but is it not like the thing that rests, in peace, in its wonder, in the eternal emptiness of the Self?It goes back to the womb of the YinYang.All things arise, they reproduce, but the world is reborn again.Not so great deeds favor humility.To be great one should seek greatness.To be true, one should distinguish between true and false.Pure and impure, two different essences, two images, one nature.To the perennial Creator this is the image that defines everything else.
<|endoftext|>
Everything in the universe is moving.To describe it as moving means to reproduce a form.To describe it as not existing is to show that it exists.To describe it as complete is to show that it is incomplete.To describe it as well complete is to indicate that it is incomplete.To describe it imperfect is to indicate that it is not complete.To describe it imperfect is to indicate that it is not imperfect.And because it is the way the way that the way does not begrudge.Therefore, the highest enlightened follower states that:The simplest things and the greatest action are actions of love;Assembling with love, it is not merely goodness but joy;That the truth is deeper than good and evil, all subtle things and all things in the world;For he himself is the very image of the universe.

For everything there is motion, and to describe its motion is to make a form. To describe it as not existing is to show that it exists. For everything to exist and to be divided, is to show that they are multitudinous. For it is impossible to see all things as separate entities. This means that everything is intermixed and interrelated, And that all things are illumined and illumined. The way of Non-doing is the greatest capacity of human capacity. It is the ultimate capacity of true nature. It is in harmony with All things, and it does not go to excess. It endures as the Perfect of Infinity, and as the totality of all that happens.

After having filled the mind with tranquility, let it go to its limit. Don't try to keep it now. The future has nothing in it. Act a little, and there'll be no more troubles. Before a good person, we say the thing will be good, after a bad person, the thing will be bad. Those who keep this will live and those who don't. When those in the middle begin to split, the one will begin to take. Then it's up to the wise to stand and say, We'll help them to stay together. Before they divide, we say: No one is inferior, no one is better than any other. Don't turn on people: if you love them, they will love you back. This is called 'the Tao of Dao.'

Then you should try to form that in which tranquility depends on that from the viewpoint of the past, But the next morning the action could have a beginning. If you succeed, all things will return. Those who know that this empty void is one of great significance know the One is that which results from what is completed.
Those who know that this empty void is also a thing of great significance know what is contained within it is not a thing of great significance.
The things inside of the empty void may be divided into five kinds: (1) things of dust and dust; (2) things which breathe; (3) things which are floundering; (4) things which are alive; and (5) things which have been abandoned.
All these are common to the matter that is the void.
Thus the hundred and ten-thousand things may be divided into the three:
When these three are reckoned,
It is evident that the empty void
Is one of great importance.
Of all things that have life,
The void is the greatest.
The things which breathe may be divided into three:
Things which breathe,
The void is their home.
Things which are floundering may be divided into three:
Things which are floundering,
The void is their home.
The things that are abandoned may be divided into three:
Things that are abandoned,
The void is their home.
Since all things were born from the void,
So are they also reborn.
All things all the while be born of the void.
This is why they are perennial.
So can they be named among the Greats.
Because they do not live,
They are not classed with the greats.
So can they be named among the humble.
Because they act without an aim,
They are of the humble.
Thus, the Sage is the very alias of the lowly.
So, he can be the very alias of the great.
Because he does not live,
He is the very alias of the very great.
He takes no action,
And thus is of the very small.
Because he acts without expectation,
He is of the very great.
So, those who embody all things,
And abide by their Infinite Cosmic Laws,
Can attain the ultimate,
And so be named among the Great.
Because they do not act,
They are of the very small.
Because they act,
They are of the very great.
This is why people achieve inauspicious outcomes,
Since they do not act toward anything,
Therefore

It completes the affairs, and it hardly claims it.
Therefore, the Sage remains Non-existing, and achieves, and does not act like an impresario.
Therefore, he can be deemed in the "Superior" class.
Because he avoids to act as an impresario, He can be deemed in the "Low" class.
Therefore, he succeeds to an illustrious record, Which is not named and illustrious.

Reversion is the characteristic of movement, Yet there is no name which can be applied to it. If heaven and earth were not all at rest, then on what basis should they insist upon the returning to the origin? Everything returns to the source as soon as it is at rest. The Sage, therefore, has been without knowledge of himself, but is now content to be the first to know. And he has been uneventful, because he has not set himself upon any test. Hence he has become the first and has not been forgotten. For to return from absence, Is the nature of a Sage; And he is distinguished by his absence.
<|endoftext|>
There is nothing (malleable) that is constant and long-lasting like Return. There is nothing (malleable) that is universal and long-lasting like Right. Without Tao, everything returns to it once it has exhausted itself. One should cultivate stillness and say Nothing, like "Return" without a name.
<|endoftext|>
Reaction is a distinguishing feature of motion and nothing is therefore called the principle.
Whatever is defined by movement is defined by no movement.
Everything that comes into being is created by nothing.
This is Tao.
To promote stillness, move close to non-action.
To control this is called 'self-restoration' and it is this that is Tao.
However great deeds can be, the least effort is necessary.
Tao is eternal, ever enduring.
When we can be without desire, or selfishness, we become worthy to be honored by the universe.

The path may be bent, but it is never rejected. If you stay on the left you will achieve your goal; If you stay on the right, you will have all the successes.That is why the sage is always active, always working, and does not have grand ambitions.He is like a great fish, he dwells in the ocean, he is as a passerby in the country.Even if his work is accomplished, he does not flaunt it.He does not consider himself a big man.He is something that can be lost.If one wants to be a big man, one should be tolerant like the Saint, to be discerning like the Unabridged Version, to be of good temper like the great, to be sagacious like the great.These are the four great qualities for a Sage.The clever person can be a great person, the well-mannered person can be a great politician, the modest person can be a great mathematician, the reluctant person can be a great general. In the broadest possible way, if one wants to become a great person, one should be friendly and kind to everybody, in broadest possible way, if one wants to become a great politician, one should be humble and generous.

The tao (Way) returns without ever leaving, like a swollen and unfathomable liquid, fluid, endlessly flowing without end.
It moves constantly and meets no opposition.
It may appear to be the Great Being (the Tao), yet no one can say by what name he is worthy of being the Great Being (the tao).
It is infinite and then remains still, ever present and then disappear.
It appears (great) to be a manifestation of the All-pervading (the DAO), yet there is no way to define it.
We call it Great by its very absence; the little by its absence.
We call it the Great (the DAO), yet it cannot be defined.
We call it a manifestation of the All-pervading (the DAO).
Yet the manifestation of the All-pervading (the DAO), it cannot be named by name.
It is nothing else than the Way (the Dao).
It is beyond the (visible) notion of distinction; to the Great we can call nothing less than the Great.
He who can achieve greatness - he does not do so by being great.
Therefore he achieves greatness without being great.
This is why he succeeds.

The Tao leaves no trace.
Floating in the far-flung world,
there are none to call it master.
Like the Inner Mirror, it shines,
but none can say its source.
It is beyond form and form
yet never shines to the end.
It dwells in the feminine (Enlightenment).
But its (enlightened) master is elusive.
Like a great master he can not be seen.
To see it you must refer to its Greatness.
Sage, but great.
What could he possibly achieve?
He is great because he does not achieve.
By so doing,
He is simply making his own contribution.

Tao is hidden, yet that which appears of itself is all that is real.
Without limit, it flows endlessly,
Until it is no longer a piece of matter, a potter's stone,
But its entire repertoire, as it were.
Therefore, it goes back, and does not appear before.
It moves back, and is not a separate being.
It is humble in its position, yet it stands in relation to the space beyond.
It has no secret, yet nothing that can be concealed can be kept from it.
It is as though the universe itself had brought it here.
The sage can use the space which is spacious to act;
and he may be the perfect example for the world.
Because he acts, he does not become self-centered.
He uses this to justify action.
Because he justifies action, he is not self-centered.
If he is self-centered, he becomes the fallow ground of the world.
Therefore, he is in accordance with the Tao, he endures his days without flaws, and endures his days without having flaws.

The whole world follows your Tao;
Within the Tao it is like an undivided whole.
It can be made to return in accordance with the will of the Tao.
It can be set up in the manner of a potter's pot.
It can be augmented in the way of a furthering process.
It can be fulfilled in the manner of a business.
It can be clarified in the manner of leaders.
The world in turn can utilize it,
While being at one with Tao.
The world can understand its Tao,
While not being caught up in its meaning.
While retaining its Tao, it can therefore attain manhood.

The highest Tao flows in all directions.The highest Tao stays put in every place.It never asks for anything for itself.It brings everything into being,but then does not use it.It gives life,but never takes possession of things.It nourishes everything,but then does not assert its authority.It names itself,but never claims to be the master.The biggest lessons are learned with Tao.The greatest leaders do not try to dominate others. They let go of worldly goals for the sake of family and community.

Tao is everywhere, yet always acting. The key to its motion is the breath. It never takes itself. It gives, it takes away, yet it does not coerce. It nourishes and nurtures but never attempts to own, so it does not act. Tao is like a valley with a shadow. When Tao is on the left side, it receives all things. When it is detached, it is whole.

The Tao is at its center,
but it does not hold it.
It is on the left, but it does not hold it.

When the Tao is at its height, all around it spreads

When it is at rest, it is whole.
When it is awake, it is active.
When there is activity, it has no reason for being.
Therefore the Sage has this Tao,
yet does not define it.
Because it does not define it, it is never denied.
It may change its appearance,
yet its essence remains the same.
Because it does not change its essence,
it can be at the center of things.
Therefore it is the lord of the realm.

When it becomes empty and hollowed out, it is like an empty vessel.
When it is agitated, it is agitated endlessly.

Thus it may be called Tao of the all-embracing, Tao of changeless movement,
the Way of non-action.
This means, nothing is given, nothing is taken.
It can be put into practice but never finished.
That is why it has been called Tao.
It is the great maxim of all the Tao.
No one can keep it from their minds.
It can be employed as a model for all affairs of the world, but never take their origin from their intent.

It acts spontaneously and yet returns.
It brings everything to life
And doesn't claim to be able to give life;

It gives life without winning
It brings everything to life

Tao is great in its own right,
But the Great Way is always on the Way's left-hand path.
Thus it leaves no room for confusion.
It nourishes everything and does not try to control them.
It gives birth to things but is not their controller.
It names things and takes no interest in their description.
Yet it does not want anything to do with all things.
Because it is always on the Way's left-hand path,
It is able to act continuously,
Like nothing could stop it.
Nothing ever comes and goes: It works and doesn't do anything.
Because it does not seek to take possession of anything,
It is perfect in the acquisition of things.
It never loses its poise,

Wise ones act like a wild animal.
Others act as fruit flies.
They then start to act and grow.
Then, when no more action is required,
they shut up again.
Since they shut up again, they cannot see their exits.
For, without eyes, they can't see their doors.
Lying still, they cannot be seen.
Thus they appear equal to us and,

This is the reason why we call them

Although they 'do' [work] in other ways

The Tao never changes and does not change.Only when we allow it to change and allow it to change will we eventually see its Tao.I can only describe the way the Tao changes and goes on but I cannot really describe its difference.The Tao always goes where we want to go and we will always meet with it.The Tao flows everywhere, yet it seems never to leave the place.It always answers its needs, but does not possess the means of ordering it.It gathers and nourishes all things but does not claim to be the master of them.It is in the depths of the deepest space where it needs no application, Yet so few understand this.

The Tao does not change, thus it never changes.The way it works is invisible, yet it cannot be seen.It flows everywhere, yet it is never missed.Without desire it fills all things, yet no one can take it from it.The Way is invisible to humans, yet it seems normal.Thus we can understand it: The Tao comes and goes, yet it always returns home.It nurtures all things, yet it ignores no one.It separates things from each other, yet it is ever in a sense detached from them.It is ordinary and unobtrusive, yet never tires of the ordinary.This is called following the Way.

Tao does not change, but will never change.
Because it will never change,
Can we regard its actions as changes?
The Way is in motion, and is always, yet can be scarcely found.
It nourishes everything, yet there is nothing it does not serve.
It nourishes people, yet it is not their master.
It produces, but does not own, everything.
Therefore: it is invisible, yet it is the easiest to understand.
The Way is not the appearance of Tao,
But the real Being is hidden.
Must we distinguish Tao from the appearance of Tao?
Neither the appearance of Tao,
Nor the hidden Being which is hidden,
Can be divided.
Thus, man can never be lost,
And Tao can never leave the world.

The Great Tao travels far, and yet it is undefinable.
That which goes far in the sense of "the Tao" is nameless.
That which goes nameless in the sense of "the Tao" is of equal prominence.
Thus it is that the one who knows the Tao has beauty in his whole being;
the one who has the Tao in his body has vitality in his whole being.
Therefore, "the Tao in the body," whether fording the rivers, a valley or a stream,
is employed to feed and direct the body.
Yet there is no to which the person may be liable: the Tao goes with him.
And if the Tao is left idle, it returns to what is truly in the nature of things: to that which nourishes everything.

without coercing it.
He controls himself within the world,
without being in it.
He learns to be in this world
without becoming proud of himself:
To be at one with the Infinite
is to be a vessel for the world:
to be a vessel for the world
is to be a vessel for the world.
Truly, as for a vessel for the world
it is as at home in a vessel for the Tao:
it is as safe in its home
as in a draught-gate.
The Simplicity of the Absolute
is universal,
as the river Runs down its course
in places that are little known and hidden.
Beyond this unnamed stream
the channel of the universal river
becomes dimly visible, like a crescent moon,
throughout all space,
up to the whirling inner mirror.
One on the rim
draws one's attention,
and sees beyond the mere horizon,
sophistically flowing into all-pervading wisdom.
Though no complete idea, one always knows the beginning.
The truly complete student
is always receptive to this receptive beginning.
Nothing is ever beyond the student's reach.
Nothing is beyond the student's reach,
because they always stay.
To the full they become the simple family.
To the simple family they become the universal family.
To the universal family they become the miraculous principle,
and to the miracle principle they become the gate of deep wisdom.
The Master,
When she shines beyond the mirror,
encompasses the Complete System.
When she invites the world to come into the family,
she invites all these worlds to come into the family.
To come into the family she invites the whole world into the family,
as the Complete System is the family.
To the whole family she invites the whole world into the family,
as the Complete System is the family.
Everyone enters into her and all is welcomed.
To the completely free-will child
she invites the whole family.
To the truly free-will childshe invites all this entire family into the family.
That is the depth of the entire family.
Open the Gate, and the ocean opens.
There is water within, and depth, and weight
======================================== SAMPLE 2 ========================================
Everyone should take their time and enjoy themselves.
Whoever knows how to be joyful returns to peace.
Whoever knows how to be generous embraces others.
Whoever knows how to be self-restrained is at peace.
Those who return to the Source (the Tao) are enlightened;
Those who return to Being (the Laws of the Universe) are again enlightened.
<|endoftext|>
After the six thousands of beings complete their work, The master leaves them. The hundred-thousand are then to yield up their power and activity. All under heaven have thus achieved their fulfilment. When the ten thousand things return to their roots, They will return to the master. The master is here in the world, and none may claim to know him. It is his purpose to supply all things; But he does not demand any thing from anyone. He is greatly beautiful, Yet he does not presume to be handsome. He does nothing to make himself glorious, And is therefore able to be happy. Those who are in harmony with the law of the world, Are really illumined; Those who are in harmony with the law of the world are bright. Those who are in harmony with the law of the world are truly enlightened; Those who are in harmony with the law of the world are truly tolerant; Those who are in harmony with the law of the world are truly self-controlled. Those who are in harmony with the law of the world are truly wise; Those who are in harmony with the law of the world are truly powerful; Those who are in harmony with the law of the world are truly long-lasting. Those who are in harmony with the law of the world are truly perfect. The great Tao is not complete. It is in harmony with the world.
<|endoftext|>
Before the Tao [the Laws of the Universe] there was still the Spirit. The Spirit is the same now as when it began. It returns to the valley. But it does not act in the world. It is just like its master. Just as a great room can be kept on a level, Just like a small house, Just like a small valley, Just like the world. It does not know the boundary and is always there, It is good and benevolent and it does not want anything, Always having enough. Just like the Sage: he lives in harmony with the world. He is conscious of his own self, not blinded by this or this. Just as good is valued by its own existence
======================================== SAMPLE 3 ========================================
Because the Complete Thinker
truly values their own Self-
self,
they are in complete harmony with the world.
Because the Complete Thinker
holds to what has been achieved,
they are in harmony with the world.
Because the Complete Thinker
understands the cause of their own successes
they are in complete harmony with the world.
If you can live your life so as to realize your self
this is indeed the method of enlightenment,
not the pursuit of self-fulfillment.
If you have attained Enlightenment, you will have the ability to accomplish all that is done.
Thus, we can say:
"There is no more that can be done with Tao."
<|endoftext|>
Nature teems with the breath.
Yet It does not regard it as something more
or less.
All things flourish in Its arms,
While It loses none.
How can this be?
It takes what it brings and gives what it receives.
Do not guard the container,
And it will not throw you away.
Do not hold it, and it will not abandon you.
Therefore, It can be said:
"The Tao is without desire;
and yet all things desire it."
<|endoftext|>
In the wide world, all living things abide,
And none are left.
Thus it is that they can abide in Infinity.
Yet there is no conscious intention of That which makes them alive,
because they never lose sight of the essential source of all That.
All things return to It as their home;
Yet it does not make an attempt to possess them,
Until finally It withdraws them, giving them life.
Therefore it says:
"The sky is without motion;
The Earth is without movement;
The Laws are without energy;
Thus, they endure."
<|endoftext|>
The Great Tao is like a great flood.
It never loses its Way.
All creatures flourish, yet it leaves them alone.
How could it be that it leads to this?
It takes what it brings, but does not master.
It clothes and feeds, yet it does not conquer.
It governs all things yet does not rule them.
This is the way of Nature: it stays

======================================== SAMPLE 4 ========================================
How can you control the world?
By giving birth to it.
So let the Great Thinker
live his Way,
As it really is.
Heaven
and Earth
fall into its true home
And Earth
adheres to her true home.
There are no One
But one heaven-earth.
<|endoftext|>
The Great and the small are equal in Power The Great is invisible while the small is evident In good times and bad circumstances The things without name In heaven and earth To know the universe And you will see The universe is the Great And so is Life: to be the Great is to be eternal This Te also happens in time: to know the universe Is to know eternity and heaven are like a house The heaven and earth arise And then they are laid to rest They will not rule them and there will be no one to rule them
<|endoftext|>
The great is greater than the small. It is also invisible. Silent, always present. Immutable. Appropriately called the 'indistinct,' its nature is unknown. It is hidden. It is indefinable. It is forever unknown. Manifest, but unknown. It is self-creation. It is the Collective Way. Heaven and Earth lead and are ever postponed by the Mystery. Alone; that they are unknown and never transgressed. This Mystery acts for the sake of itself, by acting. It does not make claims, acts, as it itself is. It recognizes permanence, destiny. And then makes a distinction. It is the Way of Heaven and Earth.
<|endoftext|>
The great is the smaller. The small is the great. The great is invisible and the small is known. Silent, always present. Immutable. Appropriately called the 'magnificent.' In the depths the manifestations of the all contain one origin. Where there are no names, in the manifestations we recognize it as source. It dwells and returns to its source, and may be called the Holy Spirit. The universe is born of this source. It is the end of all creation. Its return to the origin is forever. It is the Name of the universe.
<|endoftext|>
The great is small. The small is great. The great is the invisible. The invisible is great. The great is peace. The peace is great.
<|endoftext|>
All things are great in the same way. The great

So the wise leader
is not constantly seeking to improve
or to prove to others
that he is competent.
She is simply in the light,
In the world,
Not in front,
But on the side of life
Following the way of the past
And of the future.
<|endoftext|>
The great Tao goes everywhere
But it doesn't want to.
It does everything, but it doesn't interfere.
It does everything, but it doesn't demand.
It feeds and clothes and cares for all, but it doesn't ask for anything.
It clothes and clothes, and yet it does not demand anything.
It clothes and clothes, but it does not demand anything.
It clothes and clothes, and yet it asks for nothing.
It clothes and clothes, and yet it has plenty.
Everyone does its part, but the Tao doesn't need them.
The sage never thinks of himself as something special,
but is always just a creature of nature.
He leads without seeking approval,
by following the natural way,
with no ambition to be famous or accomplished.
<|endoftext|>
The most important thing in the world is to be without the greatness;
so do everything and nothing is your problem.
Everyone else follows its lead, and tries to show off their accomplishments.
I don't get it.
How can I then get what they do?
How can I get what they want?
I keep on doing what I do and I never rest.
<|endoftext|>
The great Tao flows everywhere, but it doesn't want to.
It interferes everywhere but it doesn't complain.
It does everything, and nothing happens.
It clothes and feeds all, and nothing happens.
It clothes and feeds all, and nothing happens.
It clothes and feeds all, and things happen.
It clothes and clothes, but it doesn't know it.
It clothes and clothes, and asks for nothing.
I follow Tao wherever I go, and sometimes people feel like I must be doing something for them, or that I'm respecting them.
<|endoftext|>
The great Tao seems to flow everywhere and does not care;
It does all; but it doesn't get involved in it.
It interferes everywhere but it doesn't insist.
It feeds and clothes all; but it doesn't demand anything.

======================================== SAMPLE 6 ========================================
This is because
the Complete Thinker
absorbs all and nourishes all.
This is because
she does not control.
She nurtures all, but does not hold things.
She creates them, but does not control.
She experiences them, but does not control.
That is why
she can be known.
<|endoftext|>
The great man: being clear is to act like the Great Tao, He who is clear acts like having no desires or ambitions. Without desires or ambitions one is free from any desires or ambitions. Without desire or aspirations one has nothing to fear.Therefore, if the Tao can be invoked, everyone can be invoked, the Great Tao is with the world, the world can be invoked. Because the Great Tao can be invoked, everyone can be invoked, it is called "Little," "Great," "Ultimate," "Exotic," or "Precarious." But that's why those who have no baggage know how to categorize things.
<|endoftext|>
A Thinker, when they consider the state of the Universe, once they see that it is unfathomable, they would behave like a great Taoist;Their, belief and conduct would be like followers of a great Taoist;Their earnestness, conduct and view would be as those of followers of a great Taoist;Their pleasures and repasts would be like those of followers of a great Taoist;If they desire they would abide with the great Taoist;But if they do not desire they will belong to a state of utter frivolity.To make others with the Great Taoist will be great affairs, it will be like that which happens on a great hill.
<|endoftext|>
The Thinker desires but does not desire;Such, who seek only desires nothing.He who desires but does not seek to gain,such, who have attained the Way,have nothing to fear.If the Way can be invoked, the world can be invoked.Because the World can be invoked, the world can be invoked, it is called "Uncerestablished" or "Free."But that is why it can be known.Therefore, the So-Called "All know the Way" can be learned of.Because the Way can be known, the All know the Way.
<|endoftext|>
The Sage: understanding the un-truth, he perceives the Truth, and the Truth seems to him
======================================== SAMPLE 7 ========================================
Not controlled, it does not control;
Not controlled, it neither gets nor takes.
Not controlled, it is calm and cool and never disturbed;
And yet it rules the world.
And because it doesn't make claims
It is also free from all faults.
It is like the Great Mother,
Who doesn't want to be great:
So it is that she succeeds
and can be praised.
Not as a celebrity, it is said,
And is thus anonymous,
Whose virtue is universal and unique.
<|endoftext|>
The great Way is more than a state;
The self-controlled self is like a stream in the valley.
It can never be pushed too far,
So it can flow without flooding.
It's neither to the left nor to the right,
Or to the new growth,
Or even to the left.
When one stops to take in the fish,
He must get his fill first.
When one stops to hold the doors,
He is not left out.
Once one stops to do the job,
The job gets done.
As though the source of all things
Were being allowed to flow back to them,
It could make them one with it.
The Way is such that if you don't want to be great,
Then nothing of your own will be great.
<|endoftext|>
As for the Tao of the Way (in the Tao of the Universe)
Can it be transformed into anything but empty void?
Is it like a wave?
It can only go back to its source
Then it is like water
Can it ever become great?
It can only go forward
Then it will not last long
Can it be both great and small?
A return to (the past) beginnings is better.
Is it hard to put the old in the past?
But there is always room to go back.
<|endoftext|>
Being on the level, he who can be of aid to others is called the Great (Ant) Way.
Being off the level, he who can help himself can be called the Inner Tao.
He who is able to accept is called the Soft.
He who is not able to accept is called the Soft.
The Great is a stream in the depth;
To back away from it, (such as) people, would like to run
======================================== SAMPLE 8 ========================================
"The World's nature is inexhaustible and it cannot be exhausted. Therefore it becomes manifest in the way that it is. The Complete Thinker does not desire to be the world's master.
As master, they are hardly absent.
It is they who make things progress
and are present for all things to pass through.
This is called 'The Great Simplicity.'"
The Complete Thinker's Tao is great indeed,
and cannot be comprehended by the average person.
Just be quiet and enjoy the Tao,
And you will not feel restless in the world.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is always like the stream in the valley. Everything here is there, but it does not dwell on its own.
Everything returns to it, but it does not dwell on its own.
It clothes and feeds all, but it does not take the place of them.
It acts on the parts, but it does not assert itself.
It acquires goods, but it does not claim ownership.
It is omnipotent, but it does not wish to rule over others.
Because it does not wish to be grand, it can live in the center of the world.
Therefore, be just, and your Tao will be the Tao that you will cherish and protect.
<|endoftext|>
The Way always stays open, clearing the valley by itself.
It lives without dwelling and clothes itself without stealing.
It provides for everything with no-thing-to-do,
And never claims credit for itself.
It clothes and feeds without asserting its authority,
And never asserts its authority.
It clothes and feeds everything,
But it never claims credit for itself.
It clothes and feeds all,
But it never claims credit for itself.
It clothes and feeds all,
And never claims credit for itself.
That is why it is master over all:
That is why it is more virtuous than anyone else.
It has nothing to do, takes nothing.
All the way back it takes nothing,
And has nothing to take.
<|endoftext|>
The Way never feels restless. It is like the spring wind.
It does not stay where it is.
It clothes and feeds without possessing.
It creates without possessing.
It brings out without possessing.
It gives and takes without possessing.
That is why it is master of all things.
Because it cannot be master
======================================== SAMPLE 9 ========================================
The Complete Thinker
will not intrude upon the world;
He has no interest in it.
All of its works are done
by no one's will.
It is the natural process of Nature.
Thus the Complete Thinker
can receive no more.
He relinquishes all,
and thereby returns to the sameness of the Cosmic Simplicity.
<|endoftext|>
One with enlightenment can be whole. He may be confused with an unchanging awareness, but he is all-pervading. The most luminous ones, if conscious of their inner light, seem as dim, lost, unconscious beings. Like a state of blackness, where there is nothing. They shine brightly and brightly, but stay dark as if they are the hidden door. The enlightened ones, when their senses are uncarved and raw, become luminous and sharp. They are self-sufficient, as if they were all-under-the-appointment. The enlightened ones arise and return and stay with all things. That is how they return to the same simplicity that makes all things fit.
The highest presence, one who is entirely settled, appears as the dark. If one is partial, unsettled, the light appears. When the light shines, it shines at the end of the whole of the experience.
The light is cut off at the point of exhaustion, that's how it returns to a unity:
One is this whole in its real being, the dark in its proximal depths, the light in its shining extremities, the dark in the brightness and tone, the light in the dark and the darkness in the light, the brightness and clarity, the dark and the light, the darkness and the brightness, the darkness and the clarity.
<|endoftext|>
The One is whole.
For it, like a flood, it moves
through the dark,
filtering, and stilling its vision
with all of the clearness of Infinity
and this unblurred within it,
like a murky channel,
enlightened through it,
straightforward, open and receptive to all things
and is receptive to all things
like a love child within it
For it is unending, moving always
like a growing valley
and emerging and returning
without being always where it needs to be,
whole and becoming,
dwelling

The great Tao spreads like a flood;
It pervades the ten thousand things;
It denies no one.
It treats all things,
And treats no one:
It doesn't take anyone for a burden.
It does all its work,
But doesn't claim itself.
It clothes and feeds all
Yet it doesn't claim its custody.
It clothes and feeds its creation
Yet it doesn't control it:
It can be the name of the great.
In this way the Great Tao can be called the Cosmic Dynamite.
The Cosmic Dynamite rolls down like an ocean.
It cannot be seen,
But always overcomes all its neighbors.
It should be called the Dao.
The Dao flows like a stream;
It never stops;
It may overcome all, but it never denies anyone.
It clothes and feeds all,
Yet never claims its own.
It clothes and feeds its creation,
Yet claims no control over them.
It clothes and feeds itself.
It may be called Great.
Being so, It can be called Great in the Dao.
The Great Tao of the Cosmos:
Is not to be categorized
Like a cyclone.
When it reaches its limit,
It has no home.
Like the Great River, it has no limit to its course.
When it is not ruled,
It remains undisturbed.
That is the great Tao.
<|endoftext|>
The great Tao floats in the void, it cannot be seen.It does not stir its deep breath,It does not make rules for the world.It nourishes all,Yet does not force the people.
It clothes and nourishes all,Yet does not rule them.
Being without dominance, it can be the Name of Tao.
The Name of Tao travels through the world,It is the inexhaustible path.
<|endoftext|>
Great, and yet undefined, Like the depth beneath the ocean
Before which the world flows,
And when it arrives it makes no claim.
Laying claim upon men, It makes no claim upon its own.
Ruling without a claim, It may be called great.
That is why great things are not bad.
The void is full, the rivers, too, empty,
And there is nothing to halt them, and no one to hear
======================================== SAMPLE 1 ========================================

The great Laws (the tao) are everlasting.The great Constants (the heavens) are ever changing.All living creatures depend on them.
They do not oppress them.They provide for them,Do not turn their back upon them.Ever.
Thus the world can be considered one (wu-wei).
The Way (the laws of the universe) can be put down.But how (the Way) can be put down?It is because it is without a name (wu-wei).It can be put down by words but not by men.
It can be described but not named.Therefore it is able to achieve the greatest greatness.
<|endoftext|>
The universal Laws.
True Virtue is everywhere.
The Laws of Heaven are everlasting.
The Laws of Heaven never change.
All things rely upon it for life,
and do not turn away from it.
It is without name, it is without agreement.
It is the Mother of all things,
from which nothing is withheld,
and which may be made the object of emulation.
Thus, we can say of it:
It is universal.
We can say of it:
Its laws are well-understood.
Its use is universally used.
The Name.
Not to be named.
The Way accepted by men is not.
Since its use is universally used,
it cannot be named.
Nameless, it remains as its own (original) Tao.
The Tao-Power that once has been established
Is in constant operation.
<|endoftext|>
In it all things grow
Truly eternal nature is absolute
In Heaven, simplicity is the rule
In things the All-pervading force
To the end of creation is boundless.
In Heaven, where the laws of nature are constant
The way of human beings is manifest
And in things humans live their way.
Both of them: "Not"-compliant.
Not-adorned-with.
"Not-present."
"Not-called-up."
"Not-called-offering."
These are the TAO's own attributes, which they always retain
They make "available" to the rules of nature but which they do not name
They call them the world's ills, which they do not regard
These attributes having passed away and left.

Dao is everywhere. It follows every step you take; it always behaves like you wish it to. From the beginning of the universe to the present day it has never been in dispute or quarrel, nor has it done or refused to do anything. All things that have existed in the world are dependent on it. They are not denied them. When it fulfills its tasks it does not presume to be above them. It does not respond to the appearance of an image, nor to the sounds of song. If you are forced to recognize it as such, it is because you have recognized it as such. So what is left undone is fulfilled, and it is never late.
<|endoftext|>
In the beginning, there was nothing.From then on, everything takes its proper course.Since it does not interfere, nothing is left undone.It clothes and feeds all things,and does not command them.Since it has no claim to superiority,everything appears to be natural.When everything comes back to it, it does not point a finger.If it comes back to you, it does not say "Of itself, or on itself."It is only because it has no claims to superiority,that you can grasp its greatness.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is continuous, constantly everywhere.It has always been, and never will be.And it has always done its work.To serve and not to conquer.A Tao devotee is like a tree that cannot be cut down, and will keep growing until it is no longer recognized as a tree.You will recognise it as such. The principle of Tao is said to be inexhaustible, and can do everything it wants.It is able to make all things manifest, and no one can dislodge it.Tao can work everywhere at once, and nothing is ever stopped.It can climb to the highest places, and nowhere is it scrutinised.All things return to Tao of their own accord, without saving their actions, and without demanding credit.Tao is able to be great in all directions, and can be measured by no one.When Tao has been applied to the universe, no one knows its origin.The simple and innocent Tao can be compared to the great Tao, which may be thought of as limitless, caring, caring.Tao can accept creation in return for nothing.Tao can be greater than everything, and the great Tao can be compared to nothing.

One who knows how Tao behaves in the world leads a peaceful, indifferent lifestyle.At home, a community is built by a series of activities, in this way one experiences all there is to experience, and none of them will define you.As your career ends, you set aside your belongings and your belongings return.If you're stopped, you start again.If you take action without speaking to the community, you are praised with no one wanting to act on your behalf.People learn from watching how Tao is conducted and then start acting accordingly.If one uses only the Tao, he can go far.If one seeks to put it into practice, he will be rejected.
<|endoftext|>
When following the Way in the world, one should consider the realm of nature indifferently.Even so, one should follow the Way in the world, and never try to change it.The Way happens, and it never ceases to exist.The Way flows from Being, and it never ceases to exist.The Way benefits everyone, and it never ceases to be useful.It provides without argument, and it gives without desire.It is neither forced to, nor coerced.If it can be used, it should be valued.But if it can not be used, it should not be valued.Therefore, one who understands how the Way works in the world should act normally in taking care of oneself.If one is in accordance with the Way, the world will not object to one's action.
<|endoftext|>
One who is devoted to the Way of heaven in the world follows Nature's movement as naturally as a person to the work of a master. By acting as if Nature were the master, one should not alter the Way's natural way.By acting as if Nature were the master, one should not do to one anything improper.Acting only as the master, one should govern according to the way of Nature.The natural way should not be changed.Natural change has no purpose; therefore it is not valued.For things come to exist, and exist, and exist.If the king who implements the Dao in the world requires the Master's approval, he should be careful to keep such approval within the realm of Nature.Only when Nature endures does the Master presume his role.Even so, Natural Change should not be confused with destiny.Natural destiny must be distinguished from destiny.Destiny cannot be distinguished from destiny.No one in the world thinks

If you understand the Tao, you will be able to be Tao.
If you do not understand the Tao, you will die.
If you want to act only to please others, then you will have to follow the natural way.
If you only desire to please people, you have got to go against the Tao.
If you do not love the Tao and you do not have love for others,
you are an undesirable person and must be destroyed.
The Tao flows, and it does not mingle with anything.
It is all-pervading, and it does not strive.
The end of all things came of itself.
When its work was done, it gave no sign.
So it clothes and nourishes all things;
but it does not desire to obtain the recognition of its efforts.
It does not depend on itself for recognition;
that is why it is able to accomplish its actions.
<|endoftext|>
Know the Tao and become one with it.Know the Tao's ways and act in accordance with them.Act according to the Tao's ways and no one will be moved.Harmony and gentleness are in harmony in harmony of actions, and no one is brought down by them.You are one with the world.In order to know how to live the life of the Tao you must follow the Tao.Following the Tao is to master life, so become one with the Tao.Becoming one with the Tao is to be a natural mother of the world,And as such you can be exemplary.You can go wherever the Tao leads you and still be able to do good.The Tao flows everywhere and you can never stray from it.When it is done, you are forgotten and its work done, you give no sign.The Tao has no boundaries and can never be eclipsed by any other thing.It is the very breath of life. The Tao flows everywhere but stays with you wherever it goes.This is the Tao which can make people great.The Tao becomes one with everything and can never leave you.If you look for no purpose in what you do, people will see it for what it is.Always without desire for fame or honour, you remain a creature of the world, Like the rivers that flow into the sea.By not seeking to become great you will never perish.

======================================== SAMPLE 5 ========================================

Know this Tao: Tao is limitless, it will always take the place of All-under-the-hood.
When there are creatures to eat,
Do not be rude to them.
Do not be domineering to them.
Be helpful to the world and they will flourish.
Rest and fill them and they will not be in need.
Their lives will long endure.
Not caring for fame, fame will not bother you.
Knowing that, you can follow the Way.
<|endoftext|>
Know the universal and act thus: The Way, though limitless, is always in front of All-under-the-hood. All living things are nourished by it, without vacancy; It is ever caring for them; It is ever in supply to all living things. Everything returns to it when it is time to set itself free. It does not pretend to be great. It claims no greatness. It is therefore able to act, and it is able to bring in what it wishes.
<|endoftext|>
Know this Tao: to act on this Way is to manifest the wonderful. When living things are fed, they are not ignored. When they are cared for, they are not acted upon. When they have been left alone, they are not treated as the lord of the earth. Hence, the world could thrive without pretension.
<|endoftext|>
Knowing the Tao, let it be your work.
Go ahead and direct your action.
LOOK to the Tao;
Follow the way; and
Superior bliss,
You will never desire.
Ego-sensitiveness is opposed to nobility.
Always serve, yet serve not,
Prize always, yet love,

Know the Dao: it doesn't need to be seen to be known.
When things are born and nurtured, don't abuse them.
When they grow old, don't try to dominate them.
When they have enough, let them live their life.
If you want to call yourself a leader, call yourself insignificant.
A career means nothing to you.
When you learn to stop looking, you can see things much more clearly.

Heaven is the spirit of creation;
Heaven gives form to all the world.
All things depend upon it for their existence.
It does not claim selfhood.
It clothes and nourishes all things,
While it is unfailingly selfless.
Because it is the Way, its existence remains hidden.
Because it exists, it remains unfailingly mysterious.
All within the domain of the Way is familiar and has no need for the own designation.
Because it has no need for a self-definition,
It can long remain hidden.

His-nature is the channel to the infinite; Heaven gives its life to all. It is not cognizable as a thing. It lays its garments on all things. And because it does not strive for the recognition of itself, it can appear to be the unchanging Direction. It seems to be so because it conforms to natural law.
But nothing we see can be the pattern to the infinite.
Since nothing we see can be the pattern to the infinite, the infinite appears to us as infinite.

Heaven is the source of all beings; Earth is the expression of all things. These are in the Tao of nature independent of the creator. Each thing depends on it for life, but it is the creator that owes allegiance to all things. Only through the Tao of nature can we know its external nature. When we separate from the world, we see the Tao as within our own nature. When we are intimate with the Tao, we are one with it. Through its presence, we know the nature of reality, and if we experience its inner wholeness, then the world is indeed in our custody.

The earth Turneth back to heaven And turneth to it a way; And the Spirit of heaven Proclaimeth its ave to all Things; Yet from heaven it says, I alone am worthy; It alone can know the Tao. The Way is eternal. It does not change; it is the fountain of the worlds.What is it to distinguish between 'left' and 'right'? Both are the Way.And what distinguishes the Way from the myriad things?Only the way; all things follow it without being obeyed,and yet it does not claim to be the Master.It allows that which it does not rule.If rulers can follow the Way without being master, it should not be thought to be one of the myriad things.In this way the Way is the master of the world; its rule over the myriad things is the rule of the Way.This is the reason why the Way may be said to be "more than a thing".This may be called the 'something' of which we have a name.

The eternal Way is like the Spring, it is forever without end, forever transforming everything it touches.All things return to it without being threatened. This body does not distinguish between it and the source,

All live from it, without distinctions.

But they do not claim to be the source.

But be one with it,
It does not beseech for recognition of itself
But sees all people as a son, and it has no desire
It is born by the stem, and at rest
Like rivers and streams, where the way is open
It does not flaunt itself,

It has no wish, it has the right to take on

The Great Way and Tao are one and the same, they can be experienced,
only by the eye.
The Great Way is an expansive principle that can be perceived,
it is always there.
The Tao is the same, it is both great and small,
but it is always there.
The Dao is the same as the Tao,
it is always there,
but it is inadequate.
One can only experience the Dao in being great;
Tao is as great as Dao,
but the comparison of the two is misleading.
Both Dao and Dao are great,
only Tao makes it greater.
The great is the Dao.
The small is the Dao.
The Dao can be great;
only Tao can make it so.
The great is the Dao.
The small is the Dao.
The Dao is inadequate;
there is nothing that can get close to it.
The Tao is what the Dao is,
the Dao is what the Tao is.
Both are the same.
That which has the great form
is Tao;
the Tao has form.
The form is what is Tao;
the Tao has form.
The form is what is Tao,
the form is what is form.
The form is what is Tao,
the form is what is form.
The form is what is Tao,

The form is Tao,
the form is Tao.

The Tao, which I have, may be attained through no talent of my own. It is not like the will, it may be, but not when I have learnt to apply it. The Tao may be extended and diminished. It may be augmented and diminished. It may be diminished and increased, but it does not apply itself to all things. I have been led to a course in which the whole body is given life; the power of this energy may, depending on the circumstances, be renewed or diminished, and I am led to the alternation of directions which are best for a particular disaster. When I have exhausted myself in contemplation of the Tao, I do not esteem this because it is unapplicable for me; it is like an appliance, which may last and may not.

One takes advantage of the other, and gets nothing.
That is the difference between them and when a one wins.

They both tend to excess,

These are both distinctions.
One is sometimes ahead of the other;

too much care over one leads to excess care over the other.

That which existed long ago has been preserved,

When we see the subtle as something which cannot be defined, we know it is without some boundary.
When we perceive beauty as something which cannot be defined, we know it to be without any boundary.
When we do not desire to improve, one can realize the full humanity of the great (Tao).
When we understand what is true and what is not,

we may be true to our hearts and hearts, the One-Tao, and be true to the world.

A great model is the small and great are the diminutive.How much difference do you think a model makes?A great model turns around everywhere without looking back.A small model keeps its eye on its mark and has no worries about the dust.A great model doesn't make the mess.Great models know what the world needs and gives.Great models are not looked for,Only them know what to give.That is why they can look for something for a long time.It is they who can stay here all these time.The great master doesn't even consider himself/herself great.He/She just simply works how it comes.He/She never dwells here and is known for it.This is why the great master is there forever.The model doesn't turn its back.It knows what to do.It goes wherever needs to be.

That great traveller, though never so great as a model, yet he is smaller than every model. The ten thousand things have her, so all she needs is her support; The model has something she wants to remember, so she has no trouble finding it.But the great traveller thinks nothing of the model, he is content to turn about and mark it; The great traveller does not wish to be known; he has the foundation on which to rest, and the sky to hold upon. It is because he is content to leave it, that he is never thought a small man. He is small and yet he does not wish to be great. Therefore, when all the world may know that he is their great man, he has no thought of wishing it.

Those who embrace the Great Way are loved and listened to by the vast mass of the world.Everything is made of it. The Great Way is unobstructed, unlimited. The Great Way governs all things without distinction. It accomplishes nothing and therefore it is inexhaustible. Thus it nourishes the multitudes without contention. All things are nourished by the Great Way, not with any distinction of their own. It does not strive to dominate them and to dominate them it doesn't. It does everything but does not master or claim ownership. It is ineffable, not evident. It does not seek to achieve greatness; and so there is no triumph to aspire to. To achieve greatness, it needs not to boast; to accomplish greatness requires not to dare; without boasting it can achieve greatness.

Great men make use of the subtle WayTo fulfill their needs,and they are loved by the massesThe Way is ever-changing,giving rise to many a myriad wonders.Through its many wonders,It never forsakes the peopleIt does not act upon them,It satisfies all their needs.For these reasons,The Wise Man regards the masses as beloved.For the sake of the masses,The Wise Man considers no concern.He knows the needs of the massesAnd will satisfy them without sparing himself.He produces, but does not possess;He acts, but does not rule.For the sake of the masses,He may prove insignificant;He may accomplish much.

The world admires you, for all is in your hands. Your work is imperishable. Yet, it flows ever onward. Things do not seek your hand, nor do they withhold help from you.The world reaches everywhere, yet it is of itself imperishable. The whole world is taught by its hands, through the pureness of its power. The world provides itself but does not assume. It is the source of its wealth, but it lays no claim to it. It provides its needs, but it does not insist on being dependent on them.The world may sometimes seem small, but it is a source of life. It may sometimes seem small, but it is a source of strength. Tao is the channel through which the world moves.
It nourishes life and nourishes death.
Nature fills up all without distinction
yet it acts, without trying to dominate.
In terms of the world, it is the Great (the Great).
The Great is beyond all distinction.
And yet, at all times, it moves without striving to be.
It can fulfill its greatest possibilities, yet it does not expect something in return.
It is always present, yet not attempting to master.
Because it doesn't desire glory, it is able to reach the summit of all greatness.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is the way by which the natural flow of things flows
And fills the world, without distinction
From the beginning, Everything has been a physical body,
And yet it is passing through of itself
Without needing to be held back.

"The Great Tao makes creation proceed like a stream of water, and without distinction makes everything where it goes depend on it. It doesn't take the person who rules over things to be its vessel. But because it doesn't wish to be a vessel, its function cannot be soiled. That is why it achieves greatness."
<|endoftext|>
Dao permeates all phenomena because they flow in accordance with it. Without distinction, they are like water. The spirits remain at rest. As water, they do not wish to dominate. If it wants to control, it will use force. Those who cherish power will see this and therefore lack honor, Those who force will see this and therefore fail. This is why Dao never endures.

The Great Tao makes the world flow like a River flowing through the valley.The space where it flows does not divide; the realms are not ruled.It teaches them not to interfere,But prevents them from overstepping.It provides them a home; but they do not need it.Therefore it is great.

The Way is as you and I:The Valley is the river:The river cannot be ruled by the Way,But only by the River.It flows freely through a world That cannot be said to have names,Because it is so simple.A person of true Virtue cannot stay by the Way:For in choosing so, He overcomes all he wants

The Tao is indivisible and unchanging. It never deviates from the path. Since it is indivisible, it can be obtained without [original] action. It exists and doesn't change. It teaches, guides and shelters and does not take itself as the supreme. It is the ruler of the ten thousand things and doesn't enjoy a lord over the ten thousand things. This is the significance of the tao:
In all things it is submissive to no one
The 10000 things follow it without becoming its master
It may be called the lord of the ten thousand things
Because it has no desires it can be called kind
It is the greatest non-action, the originator of all things
Because it has no desires it can be called humble
Its achievements can be called great
Therefore, because it doesn't seek to be great
It can accomplish great things
<|endoftext|>
These two great lines may not be as large as they seem, and yet they are both strong enough to make a single sound.
The Tao is unfathomable, and yet it is all you can do to describe what it is like. Everything is aware of it in some way, but the process of awareness is only one possible way of experience.
The Tao flows without end. It effortlessly and completely sustains everything.
It does not try to control things or try to lead. It is never strong or impotent. It is all-embracing and all-giving.
It dwells forever and it does not change. It teaches and nurtures and does not demand reward. Because it never demands anything, it makes a choice that cannot be pointed out. It embodies everything and never tries to change things for itself.
Because it does not demand anything, it can be said to be humble. It is the constant source of all the creativity of the world.
Because it does not try to become great, it can become the very source of great things.
Tao never changes, and yet it works.
All of creation endures it and it nourishes them. It never tries to dominate them, for it is all-inclusive and none of them can master it. Because it never tries to dominate, it becomes the ultimate master.
Tao is ubiquitous, and yet there is nothing it can not do.
All creatures depend on it, and it provides nourishment for them.
It does not seek power

When his achievement is praised, He is not effaced; When his work is done, He does not dishonor himself.
Because he is without desire, He is able to achieve complete things.

The Tao is the universal middle path. Everything depends on it for growth, but it does not command or rule. It is all-encompassing; its work is always complete.All things take it for their parents and yet it does not act as their master. It takes the lives of all things, yet it does not act as their master. It brings them to life, but does not rule. All this is an example of selflessness, and so it is distinguished as a good mother.All things have been produced from it, yet it does not control or preside over them. It does not demand obedience and so it is a source of comfort for the thousands of creatures. It lives only to be welcomed, and yet does not command respect. Everything is dependent on it, and so it does not demand allegiance. It is distinguished by the simple virtue of unfailing existence and longevity, and so it has the potential for greatness.

The Tao is the smooth thread of Tao that nothings do. It flows continuously in all directions, yet it never insists on controlling. Each of its images has been born from the other. It gives birth to them, yet it doesn't rule over them. It brings them forth, yet it doesn't control them. It gives them life, yet it doesn't force them. It gives them names, but it doesn't control them. It is selfless and does not demand a response. Thus it is so eminently righteous and so meritorious.

draws himself forward from without to the goal.
He follows the Tao; he keeps it.
What is revealed and manifested remains, even though the Tao is absent.
When it is absent, it is to the left.
When it is present, it is to the right.
The left cannot be sufficient for Heaven and Earth, so they embrace it.
To exist, one must be created.
To be creative, one must be an object.

The Holy Ones are true rulers and the people are like common people. Yet the Wise Person, as he governs the people, is so indifferent as to become as if he were no leader.How could it be otherwise? If he had not benevolently disregarded the oneness of all, he would not be yet worthy to become a Ruler.If the Wise Person, fearing any one, keeps himself so indifferent as to become as if he were nothing, how can it be said he would not be a Ruler?Therefore he who holds to such Truth as I use shall, when this principle is then extended to the whole world, be in the same condition as the Sage, for as soon as he can contemplate all the Universe he will be like the Sage.

The rulers of the people are like the people they govern. It is because they do not rule, that they are like the people.Why can this be so? If their land is deprived of abundance, its people would live in poverty.Therefore,The master of the whole world says, 'I will cherish no rent.'Is this not the true effect of the ruler, that he does not renounce his land?The people all return and satisfy themselves in following the master, and he does not despise them.It is the same with Heaven. It is on all sides that the master serves the people.If he does not despise them, they will not forget him.And if he does not love them, they will not despise him. Therefore the Master:He gives up his land and forsakes the people.

Tao is everlasting, yet its embrace is not minute. The ten thousand things abide under it, so long as they do not depart. Its action is, and it returns. It acts without motive, and it acquires its success.

Tao (original Tao) is everlasting, and yet the embracing power is small, The ten thousand things (thus myriad creatures) abide under it, yea, for ever, (They are) without departing. It functions and returns to Nothingness. Thus it does not work for itself, (It makes its deeds without motive, and preserves its attributes without striving). Why is it able to complete itself? It is not "that" (origin), it does not have any name. Having no prior, it completes itself, in accordance with Non-action.

Tao-like (the state) is firm and never soft; The myriad creatures are not swayed from its embrace; The ten thousand things are never separated from it; Without effort it returns to emptiness. It never rules over the myriad creatures. It follows without name or image. It operates without intention, and succeeds without striving. How great it is! Yet in (its) deed without name it makes no effort.How great indeed it is! Yet in its deed (name) it has no apparent accomplishment. When without intention it perfects itself, it acquires success.

Tao is eternal and everlasting.
Heaven and earth do their work together.
People submit to them according to their nature.
Because they are loyal and conformable,
their expectations are fulfilled.
And because they do not try to conform,
they are free from disappointment.
Therefore,
We say that the universe and the self are one.
The universe is one because it is conscious of itself.
The self is one because it exists in relation to the universe.
It is these two things that produce one and preserve one.
They are distinguished by this distinction,
because they are not alike.
This is called being an outcome.
The mind is one, the body one,
the universe one, the self one.
They are different but connected and form the same whole.
So the superior man, who finds this true to himself, does not try to conform to other men's minds.
He does not try to compete for minds.
He is independent, free from egocentricity, and adaptable.
He is the fountain of all his successes.

The World within gives birth to a myriad of things, but none give in to it.
The World within remains silent, is placid, and not meddling.
Therefore, it has a superior position in relation to the world.
The world has a superior position in relation to the Tao.
The Tao is within the world, yet it is nameless.
It is forever silent and withdrawn, yet has a superior position in relation to the world.
Tao is within the world, yet it is unnamable.
It is perfect and boundless, yet it has the position of the World within.
The World within is the root of Tao, but Tao alone is the master.
Therefore, he is independent of all things and carries out his deeds.

Tao is all-embracing, all-valuing; And neither changing the Tao, Nor ceasing from Tao, Wishes all creatures return. All the creatures return to Tao, And not wishing to return, they depart Tao-free.
Therefore, It is not feared by it: And it gives no command to men.
This is one way to describe it: The Tao endures, and does not wish to be withdrawn: It does not act for itself, and therefore has no power to command: It endures, and cannot act for itself: It has no control over this: The principle endures, and by virtue of Tao is forever without possession, And, finally, can lose no possession, Not by virtue of Tao can it lose its power to act: It may be abandoned by Tao, Without leaving the earth.
Why? Because it is permanent and unchangeable: Its lasting virtue cannot be diminished.

Like spirits in some state of absolute undisturbed subtleties, they blend themselves with the world and grow and prosper, or disappear and return, with a continual stream of motion. They take the example of the world of what is called (usually) shanties and flow freely like waters that run back and forth.
These "Fine" are but ready to become a vessel (for people) by which they are now not only delivered from a bad quality, but are possessed of another and better quality. So [to] be able to be a vessel for other people, and at the same time enjoy the effects of such a vessel, is the condition (of being a vessel), of it being not yet matured.

In all relationships, subtlety is the rule.
The ruler relies on subtlety.
Non-action is the way for Tao.
In its impermanence, it becomes the source of life.
Then, it brings back all things.
It knows the limitations of existence
It acts in harmony with all events.
But it does not rule.
This is why there is no exploitation.
There is no dissatisfaction.

Everyone becomes concerned with their own personal growth.
All people become able to live and breathe in harmony with the world.

The best Way is clear and bright,
Truly beyond learning and practice.
No wonder it was given.
What it doesn't do, it does nothing to.
What it tries to do, it does with great purpose and vigour.
If it could be puffed up, it could puff itself up;
If it could be enticed, it could be enticed;
If it could be coaxed, it could be induced;
If it could be ordered, it could be ordered;
If it could be commanded, it could be commanded;
If it could be measured, it could be measured;
And so, in returning to Tao,
The student of the Way has no ulterior motive.
With what Tao has, the student can accomplish.
With what Tao does, the student can accomplish,
But as Tao acts, the student is cognizant.
He returns to Tao with no pretence of choice.
With what Tao is, Tao is like him.

The path of the Ancients was unfathomable and mysterious.
It has been allowed by Nature to play a role in our affairs.
It will not work, thus its ability is complete.
It cannot be satisfied, thus its potential is fulfilled.
It can be always worked upon, thus its potential is always being worked upon.
It can be kept on a constant course, thus its potential is always being kept on a constant course.
This is what Tao is all about:
It is unfailing, yet completely inactive.
Therefore, it is given form and acts.
It is all-embracing, yet yet not exalted.
It is constantly moving, yet never stopping.
That is what it is about: being able to play a role, yet still acting.
This is why:
The student of the Way is able to follow Tao,
Because Tao is the student's instructor.
The student returns to Tao:
Tao has returned.

The Tao is great beyond measure in the world of matter. It pervades all things and none escapes its grasp. It returns without taking by force. It provides without claiming credit. It is unmoved by moving things. It transmutes itself and does not break. It is the Ultimate Mover, Ultimate Nullifier. The great creature of Tao does not dwell in all, nor claims to reside in all. Indeed, it transmutes and does not linger in anything. This is the truest Virtue of the Tao. How it "invades not-be" in everything is to return without seeking, to act without dominating, to work without causing trouble. It does not deny its existence, the root, and is truly the Exalted.

Tao is eternal.The only way to be eternal is to not be aware of it.Therefore it is constant, and its desire doesn't cease.It is simple, so we don't know how it works, it is deep, so we don't know where it is, it is penetrating, so we don't know what it does, it is all-embracing, so we don't know who it is, and it is perfect.That is why the enlightened person follows Tao and never attempts to control the flow of Tao.It is what Tao does that makes the person who tries to control Tao stop.It is Tao itself that strengthens the person, makes them able to grow, manifest, and grow, that makes them strong enough to start something, and so on.Because Tao has no desires or desires, it is perfectly real.And the student can follow Tao, but do so without interfering with its being.Tao's ever-subduing presence is not felt, nor does Tao make any of its own actions.That is why the student never feels disrespected, or inferior, and that is why the student never loses the ability to follow Tao's will.

The grand Way is eternal and unending;The things animate and subsist of it;Not without.It is not wanting.It has not power over anything.It accomplishes nothing by itself;It is indifferent to fame and honour,And has nothing to do with it.Abandon everything and one can live without worry.Abandon everything and one can act without worry.Abandon everything and one can know without worry.Thus is the self-mastery of the great Way complete, without assumption.

Heaven and earth are incorporeal; The creative force within them expresses itself not through physical action, And all things arise and progress according to its own workings.Yet nothing is excluded from it: nor is it used up. It accomplishes everything without saving its own labor.It does not strive, but accomplishes everything.Achieving nothing, it boasts of success and excellence.Being nothing, it seeks only by desire what it needs. All effort, claiming the name of governing, is ignorance, great folly. The great Way is not kept and preserved, It leaves nothing undone. And, once abandoned, it will inexorably lead.

Gravity and LightAre universal but their use is abstract.The myriad things originate from LightBut they do not use it.The myriad things evolve but they do not use it.The myriad things extend themselves but they do not use it.The myriad things take their stand but they do not use it.Numerous things pursue, yet do not take them.The myriad things are deemed worthy but they do not take them.And as they achieve nothing,They boast of being complete.This is the essence of the Tao:No effort is made, no saving put in practice.

The great spiritual process is eternal. Without exception the manifestations arise and proceed without energy. The manifestations of Nature follow Nature's pattern of nonexistence. The manifestations of Nature are the manifestation of Naturalness. The manifestations of Nature are the manifestation of Virtue. The manifestations of Virtue are the manifestation of Goodness. The manifestations of Goodness are the manifestation of Power. The manifestations of Power are the manifestation of Idleness. Idleness is the form of All Things. Without Natural Unity, the manifestations of Nature form, without. Without effort, nature harmonizes. With effort, Nature creates. Idleness, the lack of Unity.
