The king of all things is Reason.

Where the moment the perfect Way reached you it reigned supreme. The universe is of vast dimensions and yet its greatness cannot be measured. No certainty can be given of its starting point.Foreknowledge is insufficient, therefore there is no name. The core of the universe is considered empty, so we may consider it as a mother. The center of the universe is considered bright and glorious. This may be considered as the center of the universe. The brightness and glory can be considered as the hidden core, the brightness and glory can be considered as the noble and the holy, the brightness and glory can be considered as the advancing, the light and glory can be considered as heaven. Heaven, in turn, may be called the Greatest Dao, the Greatest Mother. The Dao can be compared to the earth, the earth to the universe, the universe to the Principle.
<|endoftext|>
The Way alone is supreme. All things arise from it.It neither gives birth nor takes possession. It is beyond the reach of this personification, and therefore it is the mother of all things. Its luminosity is most like that of the sun.It is illumined with the radiance of life.It is in the background of that luminosity, and so considers it the mother. But it is in being great that all things appear to follow it.For it is by being great that all things turn their backs on it.This is its mystery. Therefore a Sage calls it a hidden essence. It may be called a mother. For it is being so great that it may become a source of all things. Therefore we may say that it is the real mother.
<|endoftext|>
The way alone is supreme. All things are created from it, yet it is only a perception of them.It is an extremely distant thing that cannot be measured, therefore it is the mother of all things. The clarity and brightness of it are immeasurable. In the background it may be seen as a vast valley. Being the greatest of all beings, it is the root of the universe.Being great is defined by it. Being great is said to be eternal.Being eternal is said to be limitless. The limitless is a source of life.Being a

Integrity is the great authority. Excellence is the great beauty. Benevolence is the great likeness. Benevolence is the mother of beauty. If there is no benevolence, Virtue will not be honoured. If there is no beauty, Virtue will not be beautiful. If no likeness is genuine, Virtue and beauty will never develop. It is because man does not practise Virtue that he has the glorious treasure which is Virtue. Man, who gives up Virtue, will receive the royal favour.

Because of Tao and Heaven and earth nothing can become fulfilled. It is the unnamed of the Great.Everything around it changes. It does not have the ability to remain unaligned. Therefore it becomes the realm's mother. We call it the unnamed because of its obscurity. We call it the unnamed because of its fathomlessness. We call it the unnamed because of its vastness. We call it the unnamed because of its immortality. It is that which is great because it is not great. It is the Great because it is not Great. Therefore the great is to be rejected, and the great is to be given up.
<|endoftext|>
"Because Tao and Heaven and earth (the myriad beings in the world) are so different, nothing can hold on to them forever. They are the unnamed of the Great."
"Everything around it changes, but it stays the same. It may be called the Great. Being always without change, it is the mother of all things.
"Because I do not know its name, I call it the Great, so if I can call it simply the Great, it can be called the mother of all things."

Idealization does not mean emptiness. Its center is the infinite.
Lao tzu said:
Reason is great. Heaven is great. Earth is great. Royalty is great. These four are great. In this way, it is said:
Reason is great. Heaven is great. Earth is great. When one says that Earth is great, it is true. Earth is great. It is true. Royalty is also great.
Of this, this is its meaning.
<|endoftext|>
Although the Highest Power is eternal and does not change, the endless change that pervades it is mysteriously beautiful. Hence, it is the creation of the eternal. As a result of the eternal, its myriad qualities form a unity: they are Heaven-like, it is beautiful, and at once so and so and so; one may say that they are Heaven-like in themselves but gorgeous because they are at once so and so and so. So the endless changes of the infinite! Thus the unlimited is immeasurable, as long as there is the eternity. To Infinity is the way, for in the infinite
is the origin of all things. When the Cosmic Being is destroyed, it returns to simplicity. Hence, simplicity is the origin of the Infinite. The universal is the Mother of the Eternal. The Eternal is the source of all things, and the Mother of the Indivisible. Man's Standard is the Mother of Infinity. Infinity's Mother is the Indivisible. Indivisible unity is the origin of Infinity, the Mother of Infinity is the Absolute. Thus, in the Infinity-Forty Dao,
The Infinity identifies with the universal.
The universal identifies with Infinity.
The Absolute identifies with the Mother.
The Mother identifies with Infinity.

Heaven and earth never change, but it is clear and bright.
It has been eternally so.
This Dao is alone so.
Although you may see the world as a single image, it is ever there.
The Dao is the Great, and the world is the mother.
They say it is eternally so.
When the Great is great it is like Heaven.
When Heaven is great it is like Earth.
The Great is vast and has no end.
Earth is not heaven, it is Earth.
The Great is myriad, and therefore it is on this world.
Earth is multitudinous and therefore it is

Invaluable to the infinite multitude. So which is it that can manifest itself, and be named?
"Indeed the wonder is complete and complete is complete. Before heaven and earth there was this. Yet Heaven and earth doesn't show itself! Without a name to him which is nothingness! Through and through! And so heaven and earth doesn't show itself! Yet it is itself! Who then is the world's mother? It must be the earth, for Heaven and earth must be upon earth. Earth is its base. Earth is its core. The four -- earth, heaven, earth and me -- earth is its base." Thus, earth is the basis of the universe.
When the great becomes insignificant, it is called the smallest. For instance, when the great is diminished, it is called the small. It is for this reason that the ancient masters said, "Inhalt reaches no limit, but doesn't depart from its firm ground." Then, of course, the gateway of all beings is through it.
<|endoftext|>
When Heaven and earth became great, they were dim; (So) they were good, then were good again.
When heaven and earth became little, they were good;
And when they became great, they were bad.
Therefore, the greatest (thing) in the world, alone, it looks good.
The prince in the world, alone, it looks bad.
Only a condition (in creation) can keep itself out of here.
When the great becomes small (in usage), it becomes small.
Whenever the small is passed over, it becomes great.
Never is it removed that it should be the world's mother.
If it is small, it is the floor of the heavens;
If it is great, it is the earth.
When it is great, it is the universe.
When the great becomes small, it becomes great.
Once the sky is great it shrinks to the earth;
But when the earth is great, it shrinks to heaven.
Heaven, earth and heaven are placed on the floor of the universe.
Because heaven and earth are the basis for everything else, the sage may sometimes be compared to the earth.
<|endoftext|>
The nature of Heaven, Earth and the Universe was not lofty in the beginning. The nature of heaven is elevated.
The nature of earth was not elevated. The nature of the Universe was not raised.

Dao can be understood only by Way.
The Way is the ultimate understanding.
If only I were given an alias. I'd call it the Great.
The Great seems to be before, Heaven seems to be before, and Earth seems to be before. If you know this Truth, you can also know the outer world.
There's a reason why Heaven and Earth are Great. Earth and Heaven are just fine. Man is the Completeness of All Things.
How does he achieve Completeness? By being Patient, for he knows that he is Perfection within.
This is called 'A little square's square,' is it not?
The Square of a circle of no number,
The Id (Father) of Infinity,
The origin of Infinity,
And the origin of all that is.
When Infinity begins, its origin is the Square of a circle.
The square is the mother of all.
When the Square comes to thee,
With-in Eternity,
Thy head bears the shape of a square.
The Great Thinker does not care about names.
He is indeed a Great Thinker.
When you start with 'The Great Thinker does not care about names,' you can use him as a great Thinker.
When you start with the naming, he is one of the Great Thinkers.
With the Name in mind, Use him as the Great Thinker.

Integrity is one of the principles. This principle is the way. And so: from this way we see how things arise and come to pass.
That is why he who understands the Dao is simple and ignorant of things.
Who understands the Dao in truth cannot fall into folly.
<|endoftext|>
All things under heaven have a destiny
Good or bad it depends on their laws,
The natures of Heaven and Earth are harmonious in their own way.
The existence of heaven and earth can be regarded as an ordinary occurrence.
Therefore, man was born with the right intuition of his own nature, and that of Heaven and Earth.
In this way, man stands apart from the rest of the creation.
The boundary between heaven and earth and man, or heaven and earth, is nothing but the ravine.
Without ravine, man's nature and motives cannot be distinguished.
With the ravine, man's nature and motives can be distinguished.
Therefore man has made himself equal to heaven and earth.
And heaven and earth have him as their own mother.
She is the nameless and nameless alone,
The truly inexhaustible mother.
Man has made himself the center of the world,
And this is his destiny.
In man, the Dao is his natural earth,
And the Dao is his nature.
Nature is what exists naturally.
Nature is something as inconceivable and mysterious as the Dao.
The Dao and the Dao's nature each live separately and are yet somehow united.
By acting as though with them, man falls short.
By acting as though with nature, man elevates.
By acting as though with nature, man endures.
We all act in accordance with nature.
We are all a creation of the Dao.
The Dao is something that exists for man to act in accordance with.
Man, on the other hand, acts by being united with the Dao and acting with his nature.
He acts and is fulfilled, yet remains without value, for the Dao exists for him to act and to act with.
We all act in accordance with our own nature,
And the outcome is due to the unity of man and the Dao.
The nature of the Dao is that man exists.
The nature of man is that he is created.
Man's body is the root of all the things around it, and

Therefore the DAOM knoweth Reason, the DAOIN knoweth heaven, the heaven knoweth Reason, the Reason, the earth, knoweth the heavens.
We use the earth as a model for what to do. The earth is as good as we wish it to be.
When the DAOIN can stand without reproach, it is a model for the DAOA.
When the DAOIN can stand without reproach, it is a model for the DAOA and Heaven.
It is the earth as the model for what to do.
When the DAOIN can stand without reproach, it is a model for Heaven.
If Heaven is, like earth, an image, is Reason, too,
to be an image, then is Reason itself an image,
and heaven likewise an image.
We say: All things stand in front of heaven, Heaven in front of Earth, Earth in front of Heaven, Heaven in front of Reason.
Reason stands for Heaven, and Heaven stands for Reason.
This is why Heaven is the mother of Heaven.
Hence, the Dao is always present in the hearts of all beings.
It is always present in the hearts of the wise man.
It is always present in the hearts of the humble man.
It is always present in the hearts of all living things.
Through the meaning of that which is silent, the wise hold and use the Tao.
Through that which is insistent, they use reason.
Through that which is penetrating, they use direction.
Through that which is always present, the wise have it and use it.
It is through the wisest that the parts of the whole come together.

In order to become aware of the attribute of Heaven,I must be aware of its semblance. The immanence of the imageless becomes evident; the luminosity of the incorporeal becomes apparent. Integrity is the mother of all things. Man's standards are the ten-thousand things; the ten-thousand things are the mother of the ten-thousand things.
Therefore the noble Sage, in exaltation, is the mother of the ten-thousand things.
Therefore, just the way the sage follows it is like filling a jar, opening and shutting it.
One may think: "Worthy" is the simplicity of the origin of Heaven, "Perfect" is the beauty of Earth, "Ungrounded" is the safety of Life. The right time for speech is also the mother of all things.
Thus the Way, "the good Way" is the mother of all things.
This is why the great may be regarded as a noble ideal.
Truly the broadest and most complete is the origin of Heaven. The broadest and most complete is the origin of Earth. Earth is the depth of Heaven. Heaven is the root of Earth. Earth is the mother of Heaven. Heaven is the beginning of the Earth. Earth is the common carrier of the myriad things.
One form may have the origin in many forms.
This is why the great and the great are both made from the origin.
The truly great is the primordial Mother of the greats.
The truly great is in a way the model for the all others.
Thus the great is conceived as the mother of the myriad, or primordial creatures.
This is why "the Way that can be done is the mother of the world"; the Way that can be hidden is the origin of Heaven; the path that can be obeyed is the basis for the earth; the path that can be maintained is the mother of man.
When, at the proper time, One settles down in contemplation, One is called upon to call on the essence of everything, and to contemplate the formation of all things. This is called the mystery of Way, and is the Mother of all things.
So, "the great man is the origin of the world," and so "the great is also the mother of the world."
Therefore the great man is the mother of all under heaven.
This is why the Sage makes a great show by a simple way of life, and claims the surname of "master." But it is precisely by this simple way that the truly great man is really the master of the world.
This is why, the wise are the seeds of the wise.
So is

That sages is subtle and small,

it's Tao.
I'll call it the Great Tao,
the Great Tao being the gateway to the myriad.
Heaven's Great Tao is Truth's Way,
the Way to infinite space.
We can call it Infinity,

all origin's gateway.

Therefore it's great.
Great is the name that stands before the world,

That's its name.
I don't know the name.
I call it Tao.
Thus it's great.
Tao is great, heaven is great, earth is great, and royalty is great.
Man's standard is the earth.
The earth's standard is heaven.
Heaven's standard is Tao.
Tao is great, and heaven is great,
and royalty is great.
Man's true nature is the cosmos.
The cosmos is his true nature.

The Direction that moves on its own feet, the Direction that returns to the no-center, the Direction that encompasses the universe, and the Direction that is the mother of the myriad things all originate with the same origin.
"The Direction that moves on its own feet, The Direction that returns to the no-center, The Direction that encompasses the universe, The Direction that is the mother of the myriad things all derive their existence from the Direction That Moves On Its Own Feet."
That Direction That moves on its own feet is the Direction that Direction overcomes its origin.
The primordial origin of all things is the Direction that Moves On Its Own Feet.
Where Direction returns to its origin, it is one with its source.
The Dao that serves as the guide for nature is in some sense formless; at the beginning, it had no shape, but was formless. When it is perfected, it becomes one with Nature. Man comes from the Earth. Earth comes from Heaven. Heaven comes from Direction. Direction comes from the no-thing that is nothing. The Tao that is the Great Tao of the universe is the great form of Tao itself. It is the perfect and infinite valley that sustains the universe.

IT IS NOT A PERSON, NOT A DOUBLE DEITY, NOT A THOUGHT.
THE great or unchanging phenomenon.
As it goes forth and changes Its smallness is preserved.
After birth there is but one Mother- so lonely and unchanging and unfathomable!
Thus, I call her Dao and call her Hidden.
Fathomless, vast, unfathomable, The One within, all-pervasive, unmanifest.
I call it Stillness.
I call it Nameless.
Here it is, What I call Tao.
Without allness I call it my mother.
Females by birth I call it my dust.
From these the Masters have formed.
All men without exception follow this mother.
There is in the mother the knowledge of Tao;
in the dust of this mother the knowledge of what Tao is.
I have no memory of Tao; indeed, it is Tao that I seek.

Tao.

If it were known, it would be called the form of the universe.
The universe is infinite,
but it is without form.
In the beginning, the form of the universe
was hidden.
Looking for the form, it is hidden.
It comes out, but it is intangible.

Existing, it returns to.
Emptied.
Returning to emptiness, it returns to itself.
I have no knowledge of the form.
It is the form that I seek.
I am the emptiness of the universe.
I am the origin of the universe.
Tao is the form of the universe.
The universe is the form of the Tao.
The Tao is the form of the universe.
Emptying emptiness, emptiness is the beginning of the universe.
Therefore, I say: "I am the form of the universe."
I am the form of the Tao.
The Tao is the form

In the beginning was the Invisible, yet the first and greatest form of all Things. The Invisible, yet lasting and eternal. Extensively unseparated, all-encompassing, ever-present, the mother of all things. Tao: TAO that is the first and great essence. The mother of all things. Man-made, it is the ultimate source of all things. It never ceases to be. From it, comes forth all things. The manifestation of the Tao, is the beginning of all names.
Dimly perceptible and faintly audible, the fathomless abides in absolute non-existence. Dazzling and dazzlingly subtle, this is the mystery of nature and the mystery of existence. The mysterious and the fundamental in every situation.
Dimly seen, faintly felt, the wonder of creation begins with the old empty form of the universe. Its simplicity is its mystery, its inexhaustible potential.
To move beyond simple simplicity, the outer world of being is forced to reveal its most repulsive base.
From the beginning of creation until the present, it has survived through unceasing alteration. It cannot be adequately named. From it we derive the hundred names of the universe: the five tangible things; the ten qualities of beings; the origin of the collective.
There are four kinds of being in the universe, and the four of them are known by one name: (the Way;) the (literal) wholeness of the spirit; the steadfastness of life; the cosmic origin; and the origin of all things.
The fundamental and the form I call the beginningless, the formless I call the root of life, the source of the worlds. From it, all things emerge. Its spokes lead to Heaven, Earth, and the Formless.
<|endoftext|>
In the beginning there was (something like) The Unbeing or Weakness. The Weakness is like the beginning of the Universe, The formless It is like the way of the Way. In the beginning there was (something like) Something Emptying. Something Empty it is like the center of the Universe. The center of the Universe it is the Mother of all Things. Therefore, Tao is the Word of God. Its use can be used by any. It can be expressed in words, or it can be made invisible. It can be the source of all shapes and colors. Even in the state of absolute nonexistence it is the mother of all.

Abandon your earthly desires and follow the Master!
The Tao is great. The Tao is Heaven. Heaven and Earth are the natural order. The Master lives the way. The Way flows to all things.
In the beginning of Heaven there was no wind.
No sound fell from the sky.
There was no breeze.
Until then, it was simple, silent, non-existent,
like nothing.
Its extremely tiny self-referencing,
without words, thus named as Greatness.
Greatness itself may well be defined as departing,
happening everywhere and staying forever.
It is the most extreme form of change,
a way of moving and acting far and wide,
moving everywhere and leaving nothing behind.
For many ages in the past
everything was a baby,
carrying itself from birth to death,
moving all along the oceans and lands and in the valleys below.
At times it changed form and became something other than what it originally was,
became something new.
It was nothingness before the Tao existed.
<|endoftext|>
Heaven and earth may have given birth; but we cannot give a name to it.
The valley may have had an image; but we cannot make it a child.
It has remained unformed, yet unchanging,
And this is called the great age, like the vacuum that is between Heaven and Earth.
Let us see what is done by this great age.
The valley grew in the clearest way
Lords and nobles (comes) forth as valleys did in the beginning.
They go out to join the surrounding community,
And each returns home as a lord and nobles returned to their baronships.
Long living, as valleys grow old,
They take on vengence
And come back home to fill the valleys with life.
As they live long, they change and take on change,
And thus the great vengence
Must come and go.
They are like being at one with eternity.
The Eternal's motion
Is boundless and all comes into existence
All of them: be it king or commoner,
They must return to the Eternal.
They are like living in the valley, the valley is yet not emptied;
Itsnce
They come forth and disappear
Yet of them all there are
They have nothing but life for bodies.
The great age is the period of existence.

Tao is profound, it moves forever and cannot be stopped.

Direction is steady, It creates the future.

I am no better than a common person,
So I call myself an assistant to the general.
The general employs me.
He employs me because he loves earth.
Earth employs me because it loves Tao.
Tao is the universal in this world, And the nature of earth is very deep and deep.
Not common is the relation between Earth and Tao.
Tao is a god, The earth is a goddess.
If both are gods, Is there something less?
Tao is the basis of all that exists, The earth is the primary.
If Earth were not a god, The sky and the earth would have no value.
Tao is both the foundation and the basis of all things.
Everyone follows Earth. Earth follows Tao. Tao exists for the purpose of improving the world.
What matters is to get better at being useful.
Everyone is a helper to the one thing: The Earth. Earth follows Tao.
Tao is both the ground and the root.
It is a valley. The ground is the root.
Man is the root of all things. Man is the root of Earth. Earth follows Tao.
Tao is the universe in its prime and the root of all things.
It is the root of the Tao that is eternal.
To try to define Tao is to create confusion.
Tao cannot be defined. What is Tao cannot be defined.
Man is an exception, a creature, or an orphan.
Earth is the mother of all things.
He who loves Earth is a parent to the world.
Earth is the master of Tao.
Tao is universal.
Earth is universal.
Man is the master of Tao.
Tao is the universal and the root of all things.
This is the essence of unity and unity is the destiny of all things.

If the universe existed before the emergence of the Great Mother, we might call it an example for our own lives.
If the universe existed after that,
we might call it an example for the followers of the Dao.
Let us consider how the Grand mother influenced the Less Grand mother.
For the Greater Mother wishes to bring forth a multitude of Dao,
and to settle upon the humble as her dwelling.
That she does not strive to make the humble grand she will do.
The sage may occupy his house as a dwelling,
but his world can be no more than a humble house.
His world is capable of enduring and beyond endurance.
He may be both a Sage and a Sage-tribe.
There are four grades in the world.
But it is the sage who is one of them.
The sage is one of the lesser classes.
The less sage may be one of the great classes.
He may be either of the dao family or one of the moral families.
He is most like earth.
Earth is best suited to be as a mild home.
Being a home, the sage is not to be confused with the gross and impure.
He is to be regarded as one of the natural kinds.
One of nature's classes, he abides where earth abides,
and the sage embraces the earth without mistake.

"The Beginning was without form, It never will be (Shielding into the empty). It is free of space, It is without form.It is supreme (the Law of all things). The Grand Mother has no focus. Her law is no law.We can call it the Great. The Great is to come, The coming is to last.Man follows earth, Earth follows the law, Law follows Great.Great is called change (khat). The Great is unchanging. There are four quarters that form the Great; The Great is as the circle (nal). He who follows earth Is a circle."

If the beginning of the universe was without a beginning, it will not be a good symbol. For it will be without a beginning; It is beyond speech. It is to the left of the fullness. When it is neither fronted nor fronted,It is beyond
======================================== SAMPLE 7 ========================================

The beginning is silent, empty, unchanging. It flows,
reaching beyond time and space.
Way that nothing in the world can keep.
It is the Mother of the ten-thousand things.
It is also called the ineffable.
It is timeless.
<|endoftext|>
So subtle and mysterious was the beginning of Heaven and Earth, I will not say.
I have learned that it was void of shape.
I cannot put it down.
If I must, it is the mother of all the things in the world.
The Tao that I know is the Way,
but it has not been the formless Way.
It is the Mother of the ten-thousand things.
The Way and the World are separate.
The Way is the Mother of the world,
and the World is the manifestation of the Way.
Since we see only what we have,
how can we grasp the Mother?
That is why I call this Way the substance,
the mass that rolls on the Infinity of the Collective.
In the Collective Way, there is no fixed shape.
The shape that could be seen is not the shape of the shape.
The shape that is there is the Mother.
A Taoist always knows this.
He has never been out of touch.
He must not compare his Dao with the Dao of man.
Since man is a manifestation of the Dao,
this Dao is called nameless.
Nameless it rolls on endlessly;
it can never end.
Long live the nameless.
It is the greatest of the great.
The great is always greater than the lesser.
The great is different from the lesser;
all is but a reflection of the One.
<|endoftext|>
The absolute self never changes.
It was always nothingness.
It is the Mother of All Things.
The mysterious Way is the Base.
It cannot be seen.
Therefore it is the Mother of All Things.
The whole creation is composed of small dust particles,
yet they arise spontaneously from the Cosmic Whole.
Being the mother of all creation, It is beyond Form.
The Manifesting of All Things
Is ever beyond Form.
Being the Manifesting of All Things,
It is beyond Form.
It is beyond Form,
Therefore it is invisible.
It is the Simple Collective Consciousness.

About "one".
The name, named, is the start of Tao.
About "two".
The name, named, is the mother of the universe.
In her womb we find the first man.
From the very beginning we are the sky.
The sky is born. Man is the mother of the earth.
The earth is the cradle of the universe.
The universe is the birth of Tao.
Tao is the mother of all things.
In the beginning we are the dust of the sky.
But we are the root of the ten thousand things.
We are the root of the ten thousand things because we alone are the source of all being.
Thus we call this the true mother: the dust of the sky.
<|endoftext|>
When it is at the beginning, there is speech, but its name is not known; The perfect man has already emerged from the world's womb; The dust of heaven and earth has only a forebode; The root of the cosmos, like the grass of the fields, takes care of the roots. The heavens and earth are the straws upon the carriage tracks of man. Man's attributes all depend on the root, On the sky, the earth and the earth's root: These depend on the sun; On the grass, on the sky. The grass is the cart; The sky is the boundary line; The boundary line is the center of the cosmos. The cosmos' roots are all the things, And the root depends on the sky. The sky is the gateway to the center; The center is the root; The root depends on the sky,
[and it is from this that we learn]
"Being the mouth of the world, its name is Great. Being the mother of the world, its name is Greatness. The greatness of greatness depends on the emptiness of the greatness; So greatness is the beginning of the beginninglessness."
The empty form of the world takes root in the endless Formless Matter of the universe; The endless form of the universe reveals a tiny tangent to a greater knot. The gateway of the universe is the Tao. Tao is the Primal Matter, the root of all the things.Man is the root of the world. And the world is the mother of the man.
The following is an example of how Tao works:
The beginning of the universe is just like the mouth of a human being. It is full of everything

Greatness is only developed through lack of effort. The Perfection is only the beginning.
Silence is the movement of the great.
Endless is the pristine. Perfect is infinite.
From ancient times until now the luminous Way has never been exhausted.
It goes on forever.
It leads, guides, supports.
Through it, one can do without want or desire.
One who follows the Way doesn't seek success.
Who doesn't seek success, one doesn't need to see or hear or see or hear or see or hear.
When the Way is great, no one knows it yet is Great.
When the Tao is great, no one knows it yet is Tao.
<|endoftext|>
For greatness there is one step alone,
or one step must be held:
Silence is the portal of the beginning of a great mind.
Endless is the beginning of a vast channel.
In the darkness of the abyss and beyond all understanding,
Reality has existed since eternity.
It has existed in its purest form since the beginning of the universe.
The universe is the manifestation of the Great,
And the Great is Reality.
Reality and Infinity both are manifestations of the Cosmic Mind.
Both are mutually dependent on each other.
The Cosmic Mind is non-dual,
Beyond comprehension.
It is the "invisible source" which is the beginning of all creation.
Thus, the Tao is non-dual,
The Great is the Cosmic Mind,
The Cosmic Mind is the source of the manifest Tao.
The Manifest Tao is something without form or quality,
The source of all reality.
Thus, the Tao is known through the Dao,
The Dao is known through the Tao.

Before there were gods,
There was 'lesser glory.'
The silence of the void is the portal to all substance and the door to every action.
The infinite expands in the darkness of the void.
To the eye, nothing can ever be seen.
For that reason the Sage seeks neither glory nor disgrace.
'Hear hear, but do not see.'
The Sage leads the way of the Tao, not seeking honor or glory.
Therefore he does not need to advise others.
It is precisely because he does not need to advise

As Heaven and Earth, they go by Tao.
For many thousands of years in the past there were three Earth-like forms, great, like Mother Earth.
Now they are like wild beasts.
Wander in quietness, no opposition, drifting over all directions in harmony with Tao.
<|endoftext|>
In the beginning there was no heaven; Heaven was a thin white shell about the weight of an elephant.
It emerged before Heaven and Earth were born.
It vanished into thin air.
Mother earth became solid, like a solid block of stone.
Once again, its essence remains.
When the time is right, transform it.
Oneness is its Tao.
When creation is at its best, it is a great creation.
When darkness becomes greatest, it is the time of inspiration.
A child learns to love and care for Mother Earth.
Give birth, make baby in home.
After birth, nurture, nurture, grow and nurture.
A smooth piece of wood cannot stand against the blow of the wind.
The big road of Tao is not through the eye of man.
Through good teaching,
we can make creation seem small.
Before the sun was born, the world was in chaos.
After the sun came out, all people lived in harmony.
In this sense, heaven and earth came from the same source.
They were both nurtured by the same Master.
One becomes the Master and the other becomes earth.
One becomes the Master and earth becomes heaven.
One becomes the Master and earth becomes heaven.
When both become earth, they become the spirit.
By putting oneself in the Inner Source, one becomes the Inner Source.
We know the Inner Source is the breath of the Tao.
We know the Inner Source is the Mother of the Universe.
It is the mother of all things.
Through the Tao, we learn what is the essence of everything.
The ancient Tao is great and powerful, an example to follow.
It is the way to all things.
Greatness and power arise from great emptiness,
a lack of Tao.
The greatest emptiness is the source of the power.
The power of the Tao is great,
its cause is the same for the greatest emptiness.
Eliminate the cause.
Eliminate the shadow.
Become the source of the Tao.
A thing without a name
is called the Image of Tao.

Dao, the great, is one of the small.
Small is man's common ground.
Man's earth's common ground is his root.
Heaven's common ground is his source.
Heaven is the boundary.
Root is his basis.
So, as the base of all things, man is the common ground for all things.
Man's base is the root of all things.
Of all things, man's root is nature.
Nature is the origin of the myriad things.
Of all things, man's root is God.
God is the origin of the myriad things.
Therefore, the Tao is the center of the universe;
the center of the universe is the origin of the myriad things.
A single process of the universe seems to be ongoing.
Repeated as the origin of the myriad things,
the universe can seem to live forever.
Endlessly, the universe can seem to live within itself.
Heaven and earth seem to live forever.
Dao seems to live forever.
The possibility of life that can be lived on earth remains as the tenet of life.
If heaven and earth are not capable of living forever, life appears to exist.
If we can travel the world without dying, then the earth appears to exist.
A great circle may last for a few seconds and end with a return. The infinite may appear insignificant. The existence of Tao seems to exist.
It is the source of all that is, including everything.
The Tao is the source of everything.
The greatest kind of person can follow the path of Dao. The greatest kind of woman can follow the path of Tao.
All kinds of people can choose the path of Dao.
The greatest kind of person follows the path of Dao.
The greatest kind of woman follows the path of Tao.
The source of all things resides within the mother.
The mother is the origin of all things.
If Tao is not followed by your mother, then your life seems incomplete.
If Tao is not followed by your mother, then your life seems long.
If you do not know Tao, the Tao is always here.
The Tao is the source of all things.
The greatest qualities are the strength of the mother.
The greatest talents are the source of the work.
The great ruler is the origin of the Tao.
The creation of the universe is the foundation of Tao.

Nature is the metaphysical core of the universe.
Heaven can't control anything
and Earth can't control anything.
But they each have a function.
Humans must work,
but nature is always joyful.
To work, but to receive pleasure.
Grace is always there.
The cosmos cannot be measured by its knowledge
and the humans of the cosmos cannot be made to conform to its values.
Neither can Nature.
Together, they form the Great Tao.
Who knows the Tao's name can therefore call it great.
Who has lived long enough to know its end will call it Tao.
He who has lived long enough to have gone his own way will call it the Way.
The Tao is the Great Inevitable and far from all wonder.
Long ago it existed in the space between heaven and earth.
It is everywhere.
In a circle, like the mother of heaven.
In the infinite and yet unknown.
Through its mystery, it is hidden.
It is inconceivable, unchanging, eternal.
That is why it is called the Great.
The universe is an endless mystery.
Man is an eternal nothingness.
He is the ancestor of the universe.
It is the mystery within mystery.
The sage sees beyond the visible and understands the essence of all.
It is the essence of the universe itself that makes it so great.

Spirits and images permeate your world; everything is shaped by them.
Great is the parent of the lesser, Great the mother of the greater.
If you search for the Dao and understand it, you will see its Infinity,
which is the wonder of all creation.
It lies not within your grasp, and even though you live in it, you shall never be satisfied.
Do you know? You are filled with the mysteries and magnified.
The more you study, the further you go; the more you learn, the more you understand.
If you do this for ever, you will arrive at an insight into Infinity.
To be beyond the world and into the Dao will be the last great dream of the age,
and I fear the realization of the Great Tao
Will you open your eyes and begin to see what you see?

Before Heaven and Earth there was Silence.
It was like an infantling,
Its mind was as still as a leafy substance.
This oneness was so close to Pure Subtlety,
It permeated all things.
It was like being ever present in all things,
And in return I was the Root.
I am to be thanked for having existed
As a child.
With being able to play the part of the great male,
I can change and adjust.
One can be born and still live and be respected.
Because I am one with the Way,
I can perceive all around.
To understand all about me,
I must let others see.
How deep is my knowledge.
Before I knew what Tao was,
I was forced to be ignorant of it.
I can only describe it as profound.
This profound understanding gives me depth,
And brings clarity.
My insights make me clear.
Because I have clarity, I can experience all things as I do.
In accordance with the Way,
One can experience the world as I do.
In accordance with the Way,
One can experience myself as I do.
Nature is infinite, but being named simply Nature,
I can realize All.
I am one with the universe,
And at one with Nature,
I can experience love as I do.
I am one with the Way,
And at one with the universe,
I can experience the Tao as I do.
I am Tao.
Therefore, I don't know any name for what I am.
Because of this, I think of myself as an ordinary human being.
I don't have that great sharpness in my eyes.
Being enlightened, I can see the whole;
Being unhealed, I can heal myself.
I am the Principle, one with the other.
This is what I am.

When you enter heaven and earth, you must not be seen
But make the ground, then look around you;
When you sit, stay at rest, and then return to rest;
This action of returning to nothingness,

Whereby you are called a myriad places.
When Heaven and Earth blend together,
The One Dao comes to the fore.

When the great Dao is said to be nameless,
all things may be called to homage.
All beneath Heaven may be called to homage.
When heaven and earth come to work together
it is said that there is nothing but silence,
and their work is not distinguished by eyes.
When the Dao is transmuted by work of its own,
all things are named.
When things of the Earth are mingled together,
It is said that it is the world that merges;
when the work of the Dao is then carried on,
it is said that there is no left behind;
they are then finally different.
This difference is called the Great Harmony.
It is in this harmony that there is no entry.
No departure is sighted.
It is in the substance of that which is solid that is known.
When the substance of the realm is merged
it is said to be the Dao, and to its substance there is now seen the work of the Dao.
When things of earth unite with things of the Dao,
it is said that it is the world that is merged,
and then there is the work of the Dao,
and in so doing there is no left behind.
They are then differentiated into things of the world.
And the unity of the Dao, the unity of Dao as the One,
is called Mystery, Mystery Mystery Mystery Mystery.
Who can comprehend it shall enter into the Light of Nature.
Who can apprehend its mystery shall follow the Way of Dao.

It will never be abandoned.
Tranquillity is beyond expectation.

It is dark yet dazzling;
It moves endlessly.

It might resemble a rising entity

He who knows the Tao or Tao invariably exists without existing opposites; He who knows Tao and yet does not understand it necessarily exists; He who knows Tao and is not yet comprehending it necessarily exists.
He who knows Tao aspires to understanding it,Considers it only as 'the Way', that which is merely an idea of his.
To him, everything is at once 'the Way' and 'the ugly Way',The one and the other, and so, he will not yet be content.
He who is content with TaoAlways achieves Tao,And all that happens in Nature conforms to his Tao.
He who is content with Tao always achieves his Tao.
And as long as he is content with TaoHe achieves his Tao.
So Tao is so.
Everything follows Tao.
All things originate from Tao, and so Tao is ever present.
He who comprehends Taoalways achieves Tao.

These four greats are the tools of the universe;
Man uses them to grow.
Heaven uses them to protect.
Dao uses them to embody.
All four are tools, but of utility, and cannot be separated from nature.
Naturalness is the real beginning of Dao,
And earth is the beginning of heaven,
And Dao is the source of nature.
Nature is the inner essence of all things.
It is the essential mystery of the universe.
It is the mystery of Tao.
What is original is inherent in everything.
The source of everything is unknowable.
What is original is immanent in everything.
Infinite possibilities are infinite; they are infinite possibilities of the universe.
Whatever exists in the universe is the essence of all things.
If we try to figure out what the essence of things is, it will always remain unclear.
It is always undefinable.
It is nature.
It is the mother of all things.
It is the core of heaven and earth.
It is the essence of all things.
It is true for Tao, but not for Dao.
True and indefinable are the roots of All Things.
Tao and dao are the same but different.
And not different
They are the same yet different
These two together
are called the Dao.
The Dao is vast.
Long before the rise of the sun The Dao was like that too and more In that it always goes on forever.
(All things, eternal, return to the primordial beginning.)
Thus, the Tao is infinite.
Dao is infinite too.
The universe is eternal too.
And earth is eternal too.
Nature is eternal too.
But everything is eternal.
This is why Dao is eternal too.
The universe is eternal too.
And earth is eternal too.
It is for this reason that the universe is eternal too.
Earth is the root of heaven and earth, That is why it is the way of the universe.

Therefore, as the principle of the universe is also the model of the eternal, so the principle of the universe is also the model of the eternal.
Being the model of the eternal, it is inexhaustible.
As the universe is also the example of the universal principle, so the universe is also the universal principle.
Heaven, as the universal principle, is also the same as the universal principle.
Dao is the common ancestor of the universe and the way things are.
This is why it is eternal.

High origin gives rise to low.Low origin gives rise to high. Both come from the same source, the void. That is the basis of everything.Dao's origin is the same as Dao's.That is why it is eternal.

This source is Dao.

The Tao of Heaven and Earth is the only path.
To express it is not effortless.
Only a difference of five notes,
Blowing an olden whirlwind.
Can be styled the mother of all things.
I do not know its name.
I reluctantly style it 'Tao.'
I choose the extreme:
Going forward, but returning to the ancient.
Going back to the ancient:
Going forward, but returning to the Tao.
Tao is great. Heaven is great. Earth is great. Man is also great.
We are merely one of the myriad things.
We will one of the myriad things following the ways of the earth,
The earth will follow the ways of heaven, Heaven will follow the ways of Tao,
And Tao will follow the way of Nature.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao of Heaven and Earth is the only way
For all creatures under Heaven.
Small and small, unchanging, eternal.
Going towards it, one has to turn back;
Going back, one has to go forward.
That's why the great Tao is never named,
And so it is called the eternal Tao.
Continuously ascending, one may turn back;
Continuously descending, one may go forward.
This is called an eternal ascending.
Continually ascending, one may turn back;
Continually descending, one may go forward.
This is called an eternal ascending.
That's why in one's lifetime,
Being in the Tao of Heaven and Earth,
One will go.
For the earth is a big vessel and cannot be lowered.
Therefore, it goes up in accordance with the way of the Great Heaven.
Continuously ascending, it is like going back to the beginning.
Continuously descending, it is like going forward.
Thus the great Way is eternal; Heaven is eternal; Earth is eternal; man is also eternal.
Of all things, mankind is one;
Heaven and Earth are one.
Man is one; Earth is one; Heaven and Earth are one.
Natural Law is always followed;
Nature is always perfect.

There is great unpredictability. It can change at any moment. If you cannot be at rest, you will not stay at rest. There is no consistency, spontaneity, and no absolute end. It is like a baby that cannot be regulated, for it changes as it goes.
When the mouth is wide, as the multitude of life flow, like the brook, it is like the sea, permeating and transforming all that it touches, and it cannot be stopped by any means.
Be like the One in Whom your world began,
And
Move inexorably to the One whose image there is.
All things arise from it, and the One is the Source of all that comes into existence.
If you try to rule everything by compulsion, you are bound to fail.
The things that are born from it are a link in the thread of all things. By moving inexorably towards the One Who holds all creation together, you will be set free.
This is the way of things, and the Way is Always!
In the world of Tao, Truth is the all. In the world of Oneness, Justice is the all. In the world of Direction, Guidance is the all. In the world of One, Everything is!
What is everywhere is eternal.

Tao means All Knowing; Therefore it has no name.It is always thus:Without name, it is silent;Without silence, it is empty;Without emptiness, it is always present;Externally present, it is always remote;Externally remote, it is centered; So it is forever omnipresent. Therefore the Tao is all-knowing,The Kosmos is all-knowing,The Heaven is all-knowing,The Man is all-knowing,The world is all-knowing.There are four things which Heaven takes care of,And Man takes care of the Earth,And Earth takes care of Heaven,And Heaven takes care of the Tao,And the Tao takes care of its own inner nature.

The virtue of Non-action, when one brings about his end, preserves his source. What he preserves is expressed by the Non-act of his Essence. The non-act means that without a nameHe will remain undistinguished. He will return to the source. Tao is always nameless.
It is ever thus:
To be inactive, to remain unoccupied.
To be occupied, to remain active.
To be expansive, to remain filled.
To be remotured, to remain resplendent.
To be remote, to remain eternal.
Tao never dies.
The universe is eternal and never dies.
The universe is eternal but always lives.
The universe never dies and never abandons itself.
What is lost is never lost.
What is preserved is always preserved.
What is impossible is always impossible.
An integer of the universe is forever reborn.
An integer of the universe is always living.
To be beyond the reach of time is to be beyond the realm of being.
It is only in being beyond time that the divine part of Tao still lives.

Tao is beyond measure.
Hardly mentioned, it is all-embracing.
Between heaven and earth, not written down,
It permeates all space.
This is also the world's mother:
That which is in motion follows this one
Before heaven and earth were, It gave birth.
So before the birth of heaven and earth,
A world of good men sprang up
And earth to which men turned,
So each originated its own destiny.
When we take the mother to be a god,
When we give her the name,
That is what we should call her:

When giving up all talk,
For all the four quarters in the world can be regarded as one.

Lao Tze says:The Tao is called "the eternal," "the mother of all things," "the origin of everything."Thus, its name is "The Eternal."Therefore, we may say that it is the origin of the universe. It is the mother of the universe and causes all things to grow from the void.It never becomes confused. It is as blank as the void, and yet it has a firmness, firmness, such as overflows. It cannot be described. It is the source of all things. If I can describe it, I shall be an example to all men.Heaven may be considered as the place where the Tao dwells. The Tao may be called "the first mother of heaven and earth."Heaven may be called "the womb of the Tao."The Tao may be called the origin of heaven and earth. If I want to call it by its proper name, it is the Great. The Great is the origin of the universe. If I want to talk about the origin of the universe, I will be like an example to the universe.

It's hard to know where Tao really comes from.
Apparently, it's just Tao.
What a wonder!
Nature's peace is so still, it can't be more
And it's perfectly still.
It cannot be changed, and this is what makes it so perfect.
With nowhere to go, it is invisible to sight.
Most of the world seems to be busy, busy, and invisible
To everything else, they're confused, too.
But this doesn't matter, for it's Tao.
Tao is a dark, black void.
There's nothing dark about it.
It seems to be the source of everything,
It's the beginning of everything,
Everything's beginning, too.
Welcome to the beginning!
Welcome to the valley of mystery.
Welcome to the root of creation.
Welcome to the great mystery.
Welcome to the ultimate meaning of existence.
Welcome to the beginning of all things.
Welcome to the gate of all creation.

The female primal image of the Tao is the Absolute! I alone am free from any limitation!I cannot be divided into parts. If I take the female form, the centre is bright and black,Everything around it appears motionless and motionless.A little distance away, everything appears luminous.Yet I alone can see nothing.I alone am all in all,The source of all that is made. All the world around me looks lost, Like ice floats on the waves of water. The ocean the sky looks empty,Like nothing more than water falling into deep water. From deep within, I must wait to be observed! As I know nothing, I see it.As I have the qualities of the Tao, I am free from the limitations of the world.I alone can be everything that is, and nothing that is not.I am beyond darkness and beyond the transcendent,I alone am the source of the myriad creatures and all things.I am infinite, and I alone am all things.I alone am beyond the realm of space.I know my voidness, and I am the gateway to infinity.I find the empty spaces within, and I can find a doorway to the limitless.

There is an impenetrable and silent Way beyond space and time; -it seems to be the ultimate whole and origin.
It is hidden, and always in motion.
Without beginning, it cannot be defined.
Hidden and never yielding, it appears to be like the Mother of the World.
The Mother alone is beyond measure.
That which has no beginning is known as Dao.
Appropriately, I call it the Great.
It is great, like the Super-Earth;
It is great, like Heaven;
It is great, like the Way.
It is great, like the Principle of Change.
The Principle of Change is the Cosmic Dao.
Since the Cosmic Dao is from the beginning, it may be named "the Invisible."
Like an Invisible Thing, the Name of "The Invisible" [beyond space and time]
becomes "the Great."
Beyond the Great, we may call it "Deep";
The Deep we may call it "Emptiness";
The Emptiness we may call it "The Origins of All Things";
The Origins of All Things we may call it "Way."
The Way is deep and deep;
It can go back to the source.
It may be called the Root.
The root can be called the Mother of all things.
It can be called the Mother of Heaven.
It may be called the Mother of the Way.
All things can be called one with it.
All things can be called one with it because it is the Mother of all things.
There is nothing like the way it is.
That which is really deep
Is truly hidden.
From its beginning it seems to have been still,
Yet it will not leave us.
We can call it the "Emptiness,"
The Emptiness
becomes deep.
The deep is that which has once been solid.
It is the immensity that can travel far.
It is the elusiveness that can return.
It is the Mystery that may be called the Infinite.
If we can get it back to the root, we call it "The One."
The One is by way of a reality it.
We can call it the "Truth."
If we do not consider the One, we can call it "The

It is said:
"The Great Tao is not constantly on the changeable.
The Great Life is not constantly in motion.
Its form and formlessness
Are not to be understood by us.
This formlessness seems
To be the mother of the ten-thousand things.
Not yet attaining the acknowledgment
Of the Great Tao,
We call it the Dao.
If I were to name it
The Great Way,
What would be its real name?
I call it the Great.
Great means solid.
Solid means big.
Big means to travel afar.
To travel far is to return.
We use this phrase "Return to the origin."
The origin is "This Grand."
The Grand means to embrace.
To embrace means to be.
All things embody the Great.
Heaven embraces the Great.
The Great embraces all things.
Heaven embraces all things.
Heaven's place is Heaven.
Heaven's place is the Dao.
If I want to name it the Dao,
I would call it Great.
Great means deep.
Deep means far.
Far means return.
Thus, the Tao is deep, the Tao is deep and the Dao too.
And by the way the Dao is deep and the Tao too.
Therefore are three sources of the Dao,
One deep, one deep, one deep and one deep
The three origin origins one also the three end end end ones end one whole
He who knows Tao takes Tao as his origin
The Dao takes Dao as its source
The Dao takes the source as its source
The two become one Dao
The one becomes one Dao
The One becomes the other
The One becomes the other

The Way is a whole, yet no one knows where it came from.
The Way is constantly true,

The Way is forever unknowable,

The Way is eternal,

The Way is at peace, but the universe never uses it.
The Way is vast,

The Way is deep, but the universe never knows where to end.
The Way is eternal, but the universe never takes things for granted.
The Way is infinite, but the universe never uses it.
The Way is completely flexible, but the universe never uses it.
In Tao, "heaven is great"

In the absence of Tao, something intangible like 'man' begins to exist.A thin form like that of a baby grows. Then when the 'thing' is no more then a cloud it begins to flow.Through continuous movement it becomes a light (she) which creates all that we see. Through movements it can become very dark and then so.When the 'thing' is no longer a 'thing' it becomes the ability of man, which in turn creates me.My ability can be considered as infinite and unending. It goes everywhere at the same time. Therefore the ability of man is the manifestation of the All-There is.He has the ability of All-There is and thus can be called himself. The ability of all beings is so that they can be used as resources by a person. In the ultimate infinite things reside both the limit and the limitless.By having the limit we can perceive the limitlessness of Infinity. This limits is how the universal identifies itself. This naming process can be compared to the Tao.Tao is the Infinity. It is the Unity of Infinity. It is the Eternal Creator.

It then comes to be the mother of the world;it continues so ever, and is also manifest everywhere. When we call it (the Tao), we mean the Constant (and not the Manifest). For the Manifest is the source (of the World); The Constant is the core, the center, the origin (of all existence).Within the Creation (its aspect), is a Power, but the Power (its vivacity) is a mystery (that cannot be expressed).Only those who understand the mystery shall see the origin. When we consider the constant of the Creation as the Mother (of all things), we can understand that it is called "Tao". After a while, I'd like to think I had something very important.
And to those who want to know its true nature, I'd like to guess.
If you want to know where Tao originated, there's a word for it: "The Mother of the World".

He is living in the purity of undifferentiated.
Without depth, he becomes beautiful and eternal.
Eternal without form, he emerges as the eternal.

Non-duality is understood as "nature."
Nondisintegralty is the beginning of the universe.

Things form.Everything else grows. Therefore, everything has natural growth.
Something without Form has not in itself the essence.
Without Nature, this would not be an essence.
Nature is beyond form and loss, and returns to nothingness.
That which is beyond shape and measure, cannot be considered to be form.
Form and shape are of one nature, but different in direction.
Therefore, the superior man, being an instrument of the Tao, grows out of Tao.
He not only grows out of Tao, but is called the Tao itself.
He does not gain; he loses.
If he gains, he puts it to use and brings back something; if he loses, he uses it and so brings it back.
He is the form of Tao, and Tao is the form.
It is through this that the things that are without form may be called "kind", "primordial", "original"
Form and shape are of one nature; they are at variance, but are united in nature.
And the man of Tao acts and gives, to make things.
He acts and loses, to return to nature and gain and also to maintain things.
Therefore, Tao acts but loses nothing.
Therefore the Principle is nameless, and nameless has the name of Tao.
In being nameless, it is said,
It is like the In-Between, The Ever-There; In It, Virtue; In Virtue, the Cause.
Thus: The In-Between is that which gives to Tao; the Virtue-Being, That which provides for Tao.
The reason why the things that are without form are called the In-Between is, That is because they are thus one with Tao.
They are thus beyond shape and form, And hence not dependent on them.
But if they depended upon them for the acquisition of their strength, They would surely fall short.
That is why those who act without preference Or favor gain, and those who favor gain, And those who favor gain, And so gain.
Because the Principle acts Always, And acts always, It is quite easy to tell What is the natural state of things.
In that natural state, When the intelligent man acts Without ulterior motive, He is also doing the work of the Principle; When the wise man acts with ulterior motive, And acts thus also, He becomes the object of the Wise Man's favour. When the fool acts with

The physical universe came into being. It has been known as Infinity since the beginning of time. It is silent and empty, steady and inquisitive. It reaches out and seeks, yet never reaches. It is all-pervasive and real; yet it remains dormant. It is the thread that brings together the infinite possibilities of all things, and causes all things to revert to it. This return is Infinity.
The heaven was always there. It is Infinity because it is ever existing.
It is silent and serene; it is profound and deep; it is expansive and retrograde; it is active and tiring; it is love and hate; it is the source of everything.
Human beings are in the same way:
The earth is the source of the heavens; The heavens are the source of the earth; Earth is the source of the heavens.
In the light of the heavens the earth blossom; In the light of the heavens the earth bend; The heavens are the source of the earth; The earth is the source of the light; The light of the heavens; The earth is the source of all things.
The Tao is the condition of everything. The Tao is forever existing.
Silence creates quietness.
Confusion creates clarity.
Into the void you draw your eyes,
You step into the doorway of the mind.
Hold on to your sense and heart, and your mind
Will be.
To perceive, comprehend, and speak
Isn't delusion.

In ancient times, in accordance with the Tao, there was silence. But it is subtle and profound. It is forever beyond measure. It is beyond human understanding. It is the Gate of Life. The earth is at home with it. The world is at home with it. Let the mind enter its gate and it will not remain for long. The mind is constant and there is no change. It is intangible and knows no boundaries. It is like a house or a stream in seasons. It is a pool of water, it is the gate to the Universe.

Before the appearance of the heavens there were no gods, and the Tao is that all beings follow it.It is space and time that hold together and bring the utter silence of the universe. Why do I call it darkness and stillness?Because it is right there in the very breath of the universe, the ancient Tao that gave birth to Heaven and Earth,

The prescience of a man,
Can only be obtained by his being born of water.
The knowledge of him,
can only be obtained by his being uncouth and vulgar.
Being in waters, the Tao permeates all things,
And thus arises the female and the male,
and the female and the progeny,
and the receptive and the receptive,
and the receptive and the destructive.

The Te, the great Te,
Is the reason why He is great.

Knowing the place of the spring may be obtained only by being born from water; but knowing the Tao can only be obtained by being in possession of simplicity. Simplicity is thus imparted to the land; the land is thus possessed by the water. This water is also imparted to the land; the land is thus possessed by the water. This water, which contains the eternal spirit, is always with it. Though constantly advancing and always retreating, it remains with the land. Thus the Tao is the whole body of the land. The Tao is the whole kingdom. The kingdom is the body of the water. The water is the body of the water. The nature of water is so that it may never cease to be, but the Tao is constantly giving birth and renewing it, and that the body being old and needing care, its Tao is continually renewing and renewing it. And since the King is the mother of the whole kingdom, the water is the father of the land. The water, being natural and everlasting, gives life to all things; and the King, being the mother of the whole kingdom, gives life to the water. All things are his sons, but the water being one with the land, he is the father of the people. The water is so from the beginning, so is the King. The King is the great parent of the world. The world is the power of the water.

Before the universe was made, It existed. Uncompromisingly pure, This existence harmonized entire eternity. Silent, and inaudible, It had the same brightness and depth as above, Beneath and for ever. Silent, and indifferent, It would sound inaudible as above; In this harmony there was nothing extreme or extreme-ward. All things call it the Mother of them all; And all things call it the Mother of all things. It is the Mother of the universe. This is known as the Eternal Mother. Since it cannot be called a thing, It is called Infinity. Infinity is eternal; It is beyond any age, which is known as Pure Simplicity.

It was impossible to know it existed. It gave birth to the multitudinous creatures of the universe. It gives birth to the Earth, and all creation. It gives birth to everything. Nature is infinite, but never seems to have begun. Whenever you wish to inquire about it, you find that it does not have the appearance of a beginning. The consciousness of the Supreme invariably flows forth in simple simplicity. It is also active in what is ordinary. Even at the remote past, you find that the mysterious clouds and dusky angles never cease. These, the consciousness of the Supreme always stirs; it creates the valleys and the streams, the earth and the sky, all together. Its relationship with all these is no abstraction; it is a model of its own self. All that is produced by it is also produced by it. It is therefore composed of many things, and contains them all, as well as its own secret self.

The name of one substance congeals into that of the other. The female is the mud. The feminine is the stream. The stream is the Mother. The Mother is the eternal. The everlasting is born. Becoming. Fading. To be is. Having is. The name and substance of one are to be mingled. The dual nature of One is to be transformed. The bright sky becomes darkness. The muddy earth becomes fertile. The fertile becomes drier. The muddy becomes full. The material is converted into another. The different qualities become something else. It is when the profundity of the profundity is lost that the simplicity of the mundane is apparent.
The Tao is the beginning of all things, and the mother of the ten thousand things. All things are made of the Tao, and the Tao is the mother of the ten thousand things. And the ten thousand things give birth to the Tao. The Tao is eternal. It is never changed. It can be used, used, and so forth. Tao is imageless. Everything is an image. Images have ten characteristics. The myriad things have ten essential qualities. Yet the essence of things is their imageless nature, the enduring quality, the essence, that is what constitutes them.
To know the Tao is to have a profound understanding of reality.
To know the Tao is to be able to know everything.
Knowing everything you do must be preceded by knowing the nature of your actions.
To know what is you know is to be aware of the value of your actions, or being in tune with your true nature.
Know and be aware of your ultimate source.
To know how everything comes into being is to have deep knowledge of the Tao.
To know the Tao is to be able to appreciate the infiniteness of the universe.
To know the universe is to have insight into the eternal.
To understand the infinite is to be in tune with the part of your soul that remains in you.
To know how the Infinite comes to be and to value that as part of who you are is to have depth.

Those who know this are happy and content. Those who don't are busy. They refuse to be made aware of what is real, or they reject this joyous and satisfied state of awareness.
Such is the nature of their being. The aether is indeed like a baby. The "there" does not end in "there" or "there." The utensils of the potter are not sharpened or broken. The bowl of the casserole is not like a baby's inn. The heart of the king is not too quiet. The rules of the valley govern the country. All these are a manifestation of the earth. The earth, it happens, is infinite. It does not consider itself empty or empty in the midst of this. When all things are in their wholeness, then they all emerge from the earth.
The heavens are like a small valley. It is because it is so small, and because it is so full, that it is able to breathe without venturing to blow. A soldier who holds his breath can't be killed. The chariot is like a child. It is the sadness that makes it seem small. The heart of a king is like a valley. It is because he is such a valley, that he is able to take orders from above.

The bones of the Dao are like small creatures.
The bones of the Dao are so insignificant that it cannot be named.
The bones of the Dao are so powerful that it can never be killed.
The bones of the Dao are the mind of the Dao.
