To know the constant form of the present,
To know the passage of the past,
To know the nature of time,
To know the harmony of all things,
This is called 'The Tao of heaven.'
To know the beginning of Heaven,
Is to know the heart of Nature.
Tao of all Heavens
Is the gate of all Mystic Laws.
Dao of the beginning of Tao,
Is the door to many illusory wonders.
Hsin it is a mystery hidden from sight.
Be like that which takes shape in its own secret way.
And if Tao is hidden and illusive
it is the beginning of the subtle.

The shape of the Way is "absolute"; the border is "absoluble." The sound of the Way is "silent." The unreferenced path is "obscure". You cannot resolve it in words; thus, "there is no meaning to it." Words can be as useful as the Way, as inexhaustible as Tao, as obscure as Tao.
To the Way, the border is the dao; To the sound, the uncarved block, the dao is the threshold.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is nameless, and permeable. It is the Gate of the Great Mystery. Its name cannot be spoken. Rather, it is beyond words. The Way manifests in the external world, and is manifested in its essence. It is invisible, and cannot be seen. Yet in the workings of the Way, its essence is clearly perceived.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is nameless and inscrutable; it is the Gate of the Great Mystery. The name cannot be spoken, nor does the Way appear to be so. It is the same Tao as that which is tangible. It is impossible to describe it; thus, its essence is seen and known.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is hardly seen, and its great reaches are never intruded upon. It is the Gate of all the glorious Wonders. We name its sacred Tao and it is obscure and inscrutable. It is the Reason why wise men avoid all visible signs. The Way manifest in deed is never plain; its essence and inner essence cannot be named. In the absence of words, the Way may be defined as a subtle yet unnameable subtlety: its function is manifest in the myriad

TAO-LOOKING THOUGHT

"Heaven and earth and Heaven itself seem to be more or less formless, and what is experienced by the eyes or the ear seems to have an entirely different existence."
"Though it is not simple in form it is very low, and though it may appear to be light, it is but one in infinite abstraction. How could it, as some say, resemble dust, or ice, as though it were ice? Let him who accepts it deem it a solid form, let him who rejects it deem it not solid. It is in truth that which is the most lowly - humble and formless, because it has not any head.
It follows that where its front end has come to rest, it has yet not yet settled; and that is its job to be nameless.
There can be no call for it where the number is small.
Therefore it may be named the formless form, as we might call the void (wei), formless, and void.
It can be named as the formless substance, as we might call the thing existing.
Though it has no head, it is eminent in the world.
From whence it comes, no name can be given.
In the first place it is rare, because where the beginning has come, it is not the same.
By what might be called having no body, it seems to be an infant (hai).
Inasmuch as the world has need of it, we may call it now the beginning of Heaven and Earth."
"As to what was formless, it seems to have been formed; and though in appearance to have been low, its source is impassable. It may be called the dust, the fathomless (chien), the invisible (pu), the intangible (pi), the indiscernible (shung), the obscure (hsien), and the undefined (yue).
This unknown image of void (pu) which may be called that which has no head, should be termed the formless image (hsien).
Indeed, having no head, it appears to be nameless."
-That which is thus called in this way, so to say, is called (see) illusive, so to speak, we call it the mist (ming), the appearance (chih).
To attain to understanding by following the Way (pi) is to make a good track; For

Therefore it is always darkness to the Tao which can be told to the eye, It is always light to the Tao which can be shown to the eye, And yet it is said to be even lighter than air.
What is latent is constantly impenetrable to the eye; What is sometimes heard is always impenetrable to the ear; What is sometimes named, (as if it) long-vanished, is always long-vanished.
What is not named, is always long-vanished. This is called formlessness. Formless it is, it also is called evasive. Evasive, it is also called obscure. Intangible, it is also called nebulous. Unidentified, it is also called fathomless.
As to the first, to know it is to know the beginning of the Way, But as to the second, to know it is to know the flow of Tao.
<|endoftext|>
It is dark and murky in Tao that can be seen but not felt. It is light and murky in Tao that can be felt and seen. Being long in Tao it is seemingly silent. This is the darkness of Tao. The first moment of Tao is not visible. The last moment of Tao is seemingly silent. It is the empty emptiness.
Therefore, it is the formless form which functions to hold onto Tao.
It is the formless reality which functions to sense Tao.
It is the self-referential reality which functions to represent Tao.
These three functions are relative as to their position in space, but differ in form. The shape of the empty void is the key to all.
The ways of the Tao are dim and confused. If we can comprehend their wholeness, then the limitless mystery becomes clear.
<|endoftext|>
Tao, the Way to life, is obscure to our eyes.
To us it is bright, yet we cannot see the source.
If we can, we can see its relationship with space.
We see its source, which is light, but it is never eclipsed.
Is it ever gone? How so?
The formless form, the unrefined light, the formless name, these are all unknown, but represent the origin of the universe.
Everything that arises contains the seed from which everything arises.
The source is within and I alone am silent, or one with the all.

Look at the blank. It's not luminous. Listen to the soundless. It's not heard.
It's dark and mysterious.
Even though it's intangible, it is the mother of everything.

The First Person [the Tao] is dim,
It is called the Subtle and the Invisible.
It is indescribable, It is called the Mother of All Things.
It's black and dark
It's called the essence of the heavens.
It's perfect, perfectly [unspeakable], It's the mysterious mother of the heavens.
The Tao is the invisible.
The First Person is the surface of the World.
The Second Person is the sky.
The Third Person is the sea.
The Fourth Person is the Earth.
All four are differentiated,
We need to separate them.
The Tao is the space [wu jing] that cannot be described,
It's the secret [wu ting] that cannot be named.
Because it is invisible, it is called the Mysterious.
Because it is nameless, it is called the Constant.
It is the origin of the Ten Thousand Things.

The Tao is great, great indeed:
That we may be able to know it.
The use for this is to be first,
For if we know not it we shall know best.
The nameless, great, great name
It seems to us to be the Mother of the Heavens.
Dimly discernible,
It seems as though it were the Shadow of the heaven.
Because we know not its aspect,
It is not our Mystery.
It is small and dim,
It seems small as the ethereal source of all.
It is wholly and undefinable.
It has been called all the names that can be described.
It is the mysterious source of Heaven and Earth.

If you can master it, you can master everything.
The name it gives

It is remote and indistinct.
It seems to be something.
But it is something itself.
If you look for its head, you see the root.

From Tao itself
The beginning of all beings
There can be no confusion.
Everything comes into being, and
they turn into nothingness.
And yet it is the old thing to live in danger of never-ending danger.
Therefore we say:
These are the dark (hsia) and the obscure (chih),
The shape (hsin) and the emptiness (ku).
The one and the other do not divide (shih),
They merge into one (tzu).
The dark shape has no head (hsi),
Has no rear (yü).
The Tao that has been followed in the world of old (lu yen)
Is a thing that's meant to be lost (chih).
That is why people use the terms
"face drawn," "open eyes," "shade revealed," "glowing head."
When the light has faded, the dark will return.
But the Tao of old is alive and bright.
It makes the next morning.
To grasp what is the beginning of things, it is not the brightest.
To grasp what is the beginning of things, is not the most beautiful.
To grasp what is the beginning of things, is not the most secure.
Those who embrace the One Way now are able to know the beginning of the cycle.
To understand the Beginning, only experience the change is caused.
To know the change, only endure.
To know the change is to know the Dao.
To know the Dao is to be, as it were, unaware.
To know the change, is to experience what happens.
To be unaware is to be firmly anchored.
To grasp what is the beginning of the cycle, is to be unknowingly enduring.
To grasp the Tao of old is to know the Reason.
The Reason is to be "old fashioned," and people call it the mystery of the universe.
So to grasp the Tao of old is to know the Way.
To know the Way is to be in step with the Way.
Therefore:
To grasp the Tao of old is to grasp the Way of old.
To know the Way is to be in accord with the Way.
To be in accord with the Way is to be ever nameless.
To grasp what is the Beginning is to be ignorant of the One.
To grasp what is the Beginning is to be unmoved by the One.

And in Tao they merge into one. Though it is light, It is called formless. Though it is sound, It is called soundless. Though it is shape, It is called vague. Though it is movement, It is called insignificant.
In accordance with Tao, The form is called formless.The image is called imageless.The shape is is isubull.The form is motionless.The motion is called void. The void is called Tao.
We are able to grasp this form,

He is like the still, and in general I say, "It is very very slow".
He is like the inaudible, and in general I say, "Very very small".
But all these three cannot be noted, and if you try to describe them, you will say that they resemble the formless.
This may sound very mean, as though there were no shape to be noted.
But just as a futureis called shapeless, so is the present.
The two together lead to one and to the one that I am a bit farther from is called the formless, the form is called the invisible.
Together they lead to the formless, and to the invisible.
And these are the three. I say the shape is called the shapeless, and the true name is called the vague.
Together they lead to the formless, and the hidden.
Though I might say that I see the past in my future, I should describe it as the form, the invisible, and the formless, that is the way I conceive the word shape.
Though I might say the present in my past, I should describe it as the form, the invisible, and the formless, that is the way I conceive the word shape.

These three names cannot be un-

The Tao that is named is without

The sky and earth were made from nothingness, they were named nameless by the sky without name.Nameless they were so faint, so faint, they had no name.Although their depths were inexpressible, yet they returned to nothingness.
As the Tao that has not name, is it not not the same Tao?Just so, the Tao that has no name is invisible to the sages and so they trace it back to it.Do not look at it, it is always present in the realm of your dao.
When you understand the beginning of your dao, then you can understand the end of everything.

The universe began long ago, as there was nothing (the soft, ethereal nameless primordial).
The earth began long ago, as there was nothing (the inert, slippery, polar-visible primordial).
The primordial is the beginning of the universe, the polar is the birth of the universe.
They were both created and impermanent, they were both obscured by obscurity, and we can observe their completeness and return to them with deep comprehension.
The emptiness and lack of form (the nameless primordial) is the essential mystery.
The emergence of the multitude, shape and brightness is an essential relationship.
When you understand how the myriad, shape and brightness form the universe, you understand how the primordial was formed and their relationship and
This is called the hidden mystery.
Understanding this mystery makes us able to comprehend all other things.

To hear its sound, is it not beyond comparison?
To hold onto it, is it not changeable?

It is called the unnamable.

The Tao of silence is Tao of Infinity. The Tao of motion is the Tao of Direction. The Tao of DAO is the Tao of Sound. The Tao of DAO is the Tao of Direction.
The Dao of emptiness is the Dao of Motion. The Dao of Motion is the Dao of Direction.
Therefore, the Dao that can be talked about is nothing more than the Unnameable. Nothing is better than motion; Nothing is better than Direction. Therefore, we take the Direction and the Motion to be the same; they are called "Natural", and "Inter-	ely". The Direction of Direction is called "The Beginning of the Dao", and thus it is called the great Unnameable; And the Direction of Direction, the Direction of Reason, is the Direction of the Unnameable. To know thisand to see it in the same way is to be as one with it.To be aware of what it is like, to be aware of its being is to be equally with it.It goes on and on, from its brightest and brightest, to its deepest, the greatest, and back again to nothing.This is its name: the formless, the nameless, the illusive. The rising always means the beginning.
The setting always means the end.
Because they never can be defined, they merge together as one.
What always precedes always follows.
So be wary of having a bright beginning.
Stay with the middle.
But stay far away from the end.
Thus the Tao is complete.
<|endoftext|>
Doing something is not a thing to do.
Getting something out of something is not a thing to get.
The semblance of what is has no substance.
Listen and see, but do not hear.
Watch and do not see.
Reach and do not get.
These three do not make sense to each other.
Thus they fuse into one
Exerting itself in stillness.
Going about and receiving nothing,
It comes together with no name.
Light is always with no name,
Aflame appears with no name,
And emptiness is always with no name,
This is the Mystic Square.
This is the subtle, the Tao.
<|endoftext|>
"What is to be done is not a thing to be done."
"What is to be gained is not a gain."
"What is to be named is not a name for what is."
Therefore it can never be decided.
Stillness is like it has no name.
Light is like it has name,
And emptiness is like it has no name.
Thus it flows and returns.
It flows and returns
Returning to the simple.
Going about, it returns to the common.
Going about, it returns to its ultimate source.
This is the Tao.

When one sees without seeing it, such as Tao; But when one looks for it one sees only form. All things are given to what is of their own accord;And all things appear in some way but do not know themselves.
Latter - It was formless that we take as the highest form. (Matter, its subtle essence is) yet mysterious. Matter itself is but as form - Yet in its profound mystery, (for) it is hidden, ever present. Verily, it is not before/after,It is not yet complete, for it is always present,
Form of form, and invisible, till present. Darkness of darkness, And concealed ever present. From the beginning, it does not seem, But becomes in the end indistinguishable. The perfect as the imperfect; Being forever changed - Being plain as plain, - Light as dark, - The beginning, the end, This was the common Tao

Tao is always present, but hidden. It is always present, yet unrecognizable. It is always present, but unrecognizable.

When one looks at something but does not see it; it is called
Substantial,
What happens when a whole is looked at, but is not seen?
It is called
Vast.
Thus: it may be called
The great form, the great image, the
substantial form, the sub-substantial image.
What happens when the great form, the great image, the
substantial form, the sub-substantial image can
go beyond understanding?
It is called
The passive, the fleeting, and
the intangible.
We call it
The formless, the form within.
The silent, the silent at the moment.
We call it
The formless, the form within.
What happens when the great form, the great
image, the sub-substantial image, cannot
go beyond understanding?
It is called the mystic.
It has been hidden forever,
it has yet to be seen,
it is all the same.
All things have existed at one time, or another, and
nowhere do they differ from each other.
If we observe this as the great form of the great image,
we see that this form exists all
as an image.

In that eternal ebb and flow the constancy appears.
For it is not through form that one can get to the beginning of things; it is through its non-display.
He who is constant in the eternal ebb and flow cannot see the nature of things.
He who has attained the nature of things cannot see the nature of things.
This is called the impenetrable.
He who is in continuous action cannot see his progress.
He who is in constant action cannot see his change.
He is illumined by that which is present, though not clear, but discernible.
This is called the inner essence.
It is the nature of this that appears to be non-existent.
It is the nature of that which is present, though not present, and that which is perceived through this.

Heaven is the eternal manifestation of Tao.
Earth, a follower of the Teh, is a replica of Tao.

For some reason, they are described as formless,

The formless Thing is seen as non-being;
The non-being is seen as something.
The Something that is something, is something else.
It is the Something that is nothingness that is in motion.
It is the movement of non-being that keeps the DAO centered.

When men look and cannot see, they call them nameless;
When we listen and cannot hear, we call them inaudible.
When we grasp and cannot hold, we call them indeterminate.
These three things are not ordinary.
They cannot be examined with constant scrutiny.
Therefore, we call them nebulous:
Meaningful for lack of attention,
fulfilling for lack of desire.
The end of the way is not lucid.
It requires apprehension to comprehend the beginning.
Thus,
When the Tao is attuned, it leads humans to nature,
and provides them with their will to rule.
In doing so, it unravels all mysteries and reveals the essence of Tao.

When a new house is erected, the right hand should always be employed. The right should always be employed. As for light, the left-hand shall always be employed. In all scenes there must be a left. Tao can't be seen, but you can't see it either.It's not a Tao, it's just form.It's material to form everything.Tao's patterns don't require elaboration and cannot be seen;they remain invisible.That's why it's called subtle, indistinct, intangible.It has no beginning, and nowhere to stop.It can flow on forever without end, just as it has existed forever.This is called nameless form, known as 'unseen substance.'Like that of Nothingness, its oneness with Tao is inseparable and absolute.This is called the Universal's Dao.

As soon as a Tao is spent, it goes back to Being.
Abandon All-Knowingness!
Lest it should ever become flawed.
The Sound of the Valley Gate is always faint.
The image of the Collective Image is ever full.
Only when your life is full can you see the mystery of all existence.
Follow the Light Within You.
To be independent of the world and its ways.
Is to become the world's Mother.
It is to become the world's husk.
In the Collective Image of Infinity, all things are created.
In the Image of the Collective Image, they become,
they evolve,
they grow, they die.
It is because they all live in this as the unformed,
that they are most free from chaos,
because they are most free from change,
that they are most completely whole,
that they are most complete.
It is because they have no self-concept,
that they are most unfathomable,
that they are most elusive.
They are to the Tao what darkness is to fire.
The One is not bright.
It is deep within.
It cannot be seen.
It is intangible.
It cannot be grasped.
It is never gone.
It is the origin of all things.
The Way always comes in the dark.
Keep it in the light.
It is the first and the everlasting.
Beside the Ancestor,
The beginning of all things.
It is called the Universal Consciousness.
The Way is something that cannot be named.
It is inaudible, unobtrusive.
It is deep inside.
It cannot be realized.

Though the nameless is ever present,
It is dim, dull, and obscure.
It hardly seems to be there at all.
So how dimly indeed it seems!
Although it is invisible,
I call it [the Elusive Depth of] the Dark!
Undiscovered and without form,
I call it the Formless.
And without form, I call it the Unfathomable.
Undiscovered and without substance,
I call it the Non-Existent.
Unfathomable and unchanging,
I call it the Manifest.
My name is evasive; it is the tao
whose depth I cannot see.
It is the beginning of creation.
<|endoftext|>
The nameless is timeless.
It is nebulous and unclear.
But I cannot detect its immensity.
It is too obscure to be spotted.
Its obscurity and immensity are elusive.
I do not know where it stands.
I call it the Formless.
Its formlessness is in its immensity.
It has no name or image.
The immensity of form, without a name or image
is invisible.
This is the immensity of form.
Before time it was.
To the present it is ancient.
<|endoftext|>
In the beginning was nothingness, and after Nothingness there was the formless.
The formless is the origin of the ten thousand things.
The ten thousand things go on their way in response to the forms of the inanimate.
The inanimate go on their way because of the inanimate.
The inanimate has no name.
The inanimate has a name.
From this brings the dark.
From this comes the light.
The dark makes no light.
This is called the Way.
Therefore it is called the ancient Way
Because from it arise all things.
<|endoftext|>
Tao does not aim at attainment of perfection. Achieving perfection, Tao is without kindness or guile, but through subtlety and through nothingness. How subtle and elusive! How remote! How vast! It is dark and bright! Though it exists, it is unfathomable! Through it, existence happens; though it exists, it is unfathomable! Thus it is the Way of antiquity.

We have forgotten the Ancient Way and
all we know is the Way that follows!
What are the tai and the yen and the u and the t?
Tai is infinite.
Yen is bright.
Unexplored, unattainable.
That is called no external form, no external color.
To be vague, but not void,
to move back and forth,
to linger,
to vanish,
to be nowhere to be seen
to be no body,
no name.
To be void,
to be filled,
to be far away
to be boundless.
In Tao, you cannot know,
and so you cannot know Tao.
You can only see it as coming out of nothing.
It can be seen as thin and formless,
as infinite and formless,
as indeterminate and abstract,
as out of time, out of mind.
As the beginning of everything,
the beginning of everything, the ancient and timeless.
<|endoftext|>
It is said that the Tao of Heaven is inaudible; to it there is no sound.
It is ineffable, is it not?
If Tao is present, it cannot be seen,
by its appearance there can be no image;
or if it is absent, it can be seen,
if it is present, its form cannot be altered.
Yet motion and change are alike in the Tao,
for in it is nothingness,
yet it is allness.
It is infinitely intangible, is it not?
Even the smallest particles are made up of space and time;
is this not the same as an eternity?
To put the form into words, the universe is inaudible
Though there is no sound,
It can be heard
Though there is no image,
It can be conceived.
The Nameless is the same as forever;
Expansive and expandable
Yet has no name,
Can be defined by no body
Can be bent to serve the wheel of nature
Can be realized by no effort
It is not desire that gives form and formlessness the properties of the Tao,
It is desire that makes movement and change.
It is the infinites

To know and not to know are not the same. This is the essence of not knowing.
To know and not to know are two things. The most superficial understanding fails.
The simplest of all knowledge comes to a crescendo.
The emptiness of Infinity comes to an end.
The constancy of Time is simply not so.
Being present and not having to be here is what brings about quiet and quietness.
Seeing and not knowing is what separates two realities.
Knowing and not knowing is what creates us.
To understand and not be understood is what causes perplexity.
To know and not know is what makes distinctions.
Being and not knowing is what sets things in motion.
To know and to know is to be an instrument for action.
To know and to not know is to be at one with all things.
To be present and not to know is to be an instrument for weakness.
To be present and not to know is to be an instrument for everything.
To know and to not know is to be an instrument for the unchanging and eternal.
It is the indeterminate that moves and will not change.
It is the uncarved wood that is uncarved.
It is the formless that cannot be rejected.
It is true nature that contains a home.
Now is the time to establish Infinity
And come to the root of nature.

One can say he knows not-knowing, yet he is not well informed about it.He who knows not-knowing cannot be regarded as knowledgeable.One who knows and does not know cannot be regarded as knowledgeable,And one who knows and does know, one knows not-knowing.In the same way he who also knows and does not know cannot be regarded as knowledgeable,And he who also knows and does know, one does know and he does not know.In this way the subtle secret of the universe is able to do all things through itself and remains beyond form and appearance,and so is beyond thought and sensation.It does not rest there, for that is the more natural and natural for it.Thus it is that it seems to exist, and not create any sensation, and yet it seems to be in constant motion.There are men who have such a sense of this, and such a sense of themselves as to claim they do know something.This is because they have a skill

True understanding becomes vacant like that of the valley; It is like that of the unhewn log. Though it may appear to be overgrown, it is so simple that it can be taken for an image. Being hidden yet opaque, it cannot be spotted; Though there may be a base there, Yet it cannot be recognised. Therefore it can be identified by the word of the wise:It is alone intangible, as the appearance of the image.Hence, we regard it as the appearance of something else.It is so elusive that we do not know who is behind it. We only follow and may then find it in the obscure. Through looking for it, we do not see its shadow.This is the hidden origin of all abstraction.

The highest perfection is always like the state of peace in the valley. This is as if the uncarved block is truly uncarved. It cannot be seen but may be identified by the touch. Uncarved, yet surrounded by the forms of a block, it cannot be identified, even though we may measure it. In it, the uncarved block holds a semblance of a likeness. Uncarved and yet surrounded by forms, it cannot be identified, even though we may measure it. In it, the uncarved block holds a semblance of a likeness. The unrefined, yet imparted the shape of a block, it cannot be identified, even though we may measure it. In it, the uncarved block holds a semblance of a likeness. Those who follow the Way, they know the Tao. Those who discard the Way, they know nothing. Those who seek to increase, they never have enough. Those who seek to reduce, they never make room. Those who are both put to use, they never cause confusion. This is called the spirit of Tao. Those who are confused by the Tao do not know Tao. They see only the Way that is shadowy and unknown. They think that they can change the Tao, but they cannot. This is called the spirit of confusion. The true man tries to rule, not by force, but by showing the Way. Those who do not strive for power, do not possess the Tao. Those who do not seek domination, do not deserve the TA. The truly ruler makes no rules, but only names the Tao as Tao.

Good people know their self; bad people know the world. Good people know the world but not seek to understand the world. They understand the world but not seek to understand the self. The self and the world are both hidden, obscure, and fleeting. They are two opposite realities, yet they are both the same. Good and bad both produce their opposite. Good produces goodness, and bad produces bad. Bad produces existence. This is called "the Tao as it is". What is produced is not different from what exists. Creation does not last. It is the beginning of Tao, the birth of the future.

Goodness comes from being good, and badness from being being bad. When the good comes to be, then it is not good; but when the bad comes to be, it is not bad. This is called the difference between what is and what is not. The good exists, but not as it should be. The bad exists, but not as it ought be. That is the difference. So always keep to a single unity,

Approved everywhere for the hundredth of a minute!
Approved by thousands of men-and-them.
Approved by knowing how to love your fellow man!

Without the presence of Tao, everything is happening.
(Do what you can to keep it in balance, so that it will stay as if forever, and it will do just fine).
(The time when the Tao is absent is the time that a great entity appears).
They call it the Great First (of) being.
It is the beginning of everything.
They say:
"When the heavens are empty, the Earth is firm;
When the Earth is empty, the Essential Spirit appears;
When the Essential Spirit is empty, the Spring is in its rise;
When the Spring is in its rise, the Yielding is in its cessation."
The Yielding is the World Merging; The Merging is the Great Forefront (of things).
When the Forefront is merged with the World, there is a Harmony.
That is why they say:
"The Hundred-fold Harmony is the Beginning of Heaven."
It is the Beginning that does not change.
It is the Tao that we never get close to,
It is the Tao that can be obtained, but never gets,

From ancient times until now, there was always the constant harmony of the Tao.Everything around it seemed to vibrate like the Tao, and so it became the infinite. The Tao has always existed and always will exist.It flows forever and remains eternally present. It will not leave.
It is not forever, therefore it cannot be exhausted.
Knowing this, let all things that serve us with their minds evolve without trying to try to understand the world they reside in.
Do not try to control the world or to think it through to some ends in order to manipulate it.
One's thoughts cannot encompass everything.

The Tao can be seen as bright, bright as it seems to be the sky;
it can be seen as dark, dark as it seems to be the earth.
It is here and now.
Therefore the sages said that they referred to it as "Front" to those who cannot comprehend it;
The sages also said that they referred to it as "Back" to those who cannot comprehend it.
Therefore the Front is seen below;
The Back is seen above;
Therefore the Front is termed the Heaven below;

When you meditate on the ways of Dao, you never miss the signs, the basic and the beautiful, because you can see them and make them.
If you let go of your innate essence, then you will thereby be able to see the way and the boundaries.
This difference is the fundamental virtue of Tao.
When I use the name Tao, I call it mystery. Mystery, mystery, mystery, the common; the clarified; the sublime; and beyond.
Without experience, you cannot make a single abstraction.
No language can describe it, and you cannot touch it; in its manifestation, the most mysterious.
Yet the world could not know it and not know it is not known.
The fundamental is called mysterious, but the concrete is hidden.
Hidden, it is no description of the actuality of the mystery.
That is the subtlety of the nameless.
This is the reason that, for a time, I have found it difficult to grasp Tao's essence.

Reality is already full: the fruit is still.
It's as if this is all there is.
How could it be otherwise?
To discard it and live is to embrace the One.
If you can find life, then you can enter into the fullness of One.
When you love this to this degree, You can travel toward the Tao.
The Tao is like the tides of the sea; It cannot be sensed, Yet it moves without effort.
The Tao is pure and profound, So profound in its essentials, Yet it moves everywhere without moving a thing.
We cannot see it, For it can appear
As if from nowhere. So we call this Non-essential.
So we cannot name it, And it's hidden in the expanses of namelessness.
Through naming, we can understand the depths. The depth of Name: A true sphere for all Things To behold.
For Tao goes where we go.
It doesn't need to go.
<|endoftext|>
Having known the Complete Tao
One begins to be aware of the world around you;
There is nothing to which one can revert,
as if to be changed.
In other words, we may call this "the truly complete Tao."
When I am aware of the Tao, I see things;
But in having seen things I may revert to being an abstraction.

The Nonbeing is hidden in all its actions.If you try to see it, you will miss the essence.If you try to understand it, you will miss the form.They exist for the sake of the one who uses them and not for the sake of the one who uses the objects of their use.Thus, there is neither too bright nor too dark.Their effects blend in the same direction.At times it is too bright, and at other times too dark.At times it is bright and at other times dark.This is called the lack of depth.It is like being hidden from heaven and earth.The present melding of these two was unknown to mankind.Therefore, the Sage makes use of them.He knows what to do with them.

Heaven and earth are Non-being, yet their actions are
the essence of life.
They permeate all under Heaven,
and though they be luminous and bright,

That which is black is neither bright nor dim,

It is neither white nor black.

To be aware of its presence is to be free of fear.To have an inner clarity is to be free of desire.To exist in a moment of clarity is to be free of fear.It is the space that is ever present.No definite shape is seen, for it is in its obscurity.It is without beginning, therefore it is everlasting.Its activity cannot be measured by its activity.Its movement cannot be measured by its movement.Therefore, in its understanding and its investigation it cannot be known.Its understanding and its knowledge are without concreteness.It is invisible to the senses.Since they never cease, it may be counted.Since its existence is like that of the world, it is of the world.It is within the heart of man that he can be conscious of what is with his own inner eyes.

Knowing that you are aware, is freedom from fear.Knowing your voidness, is liberation from anxiety.Being awake is being aware.Being open is being in awareness.Being truly present is being in depth.Being void is being aware of what is.Being knowing is being in depth.Being unknowable is being in depth.Knowing the whole is awareness of the self.Being aware of the self is consciousness of the self.Being knowing that is awareness of the world.Being aware of the world is consciousness of the world.Knowing and being aware of the whole is consciousness of the Whole.Knowing and being aware of the world is awareness of your self.Being aware of the self is consciousness of the self.

Being aware of it, is freedom from fear.Being aware of it is freedom from desire.Being open in it, is freedom from fear.It is without beginning, therefore it lasts forever.It has no firm beginning, therefore it exists forever.Its movement is hidden from sight, so it is without a name.It is the indescribable, and manifests itself in all things.Within you, the infinite is manifested.Within me, the indescribable is manifest.Being present, is self-existent.Being present in everything, is self-existent.It is the eternal, and it always goes on.It does not rest for ever, so let it flow.It is eternal, so let it flow.

Lao Tze says,What the Masters know through their imaginations, I shall also describe as true.What the kings and emperors know through their memory, I shall also describe as true.What the people know through their words, I shall also describe as true.Not for themselves, but for others to understand, we may call it 'primeval.'Those who know it all are intelligent;Only the few are the ignoramuses.So we may regard them as kings and emperors, or as the ordinary people they are.How 'primeval' can be described is evident.For what is 'primeval' is thus no longer what is true,Because when you bring it to pass, you see that it cannot go beyond.What has no beginning is nebulous.Not on a road, not in the heavens, not in the universe can you make a turnabout.What your ancestors saw in the beginning we also see in this.Only we cannot touch them.Hold onto this 'primordial existence,' and in the end you can take charge of everything.Know your ancestor's strength.

Everyone's imaginations as well as their sharpness makes them perfect.That which all princes and kings and everyone else sees as foolish -Which is what all other men see as foolish.Who knows the common people as well as the superior?The latter; but that which the common people see as foolish is what is known.Who knows the inferior as well as the superior?That which the latter sees as foolish is known.So, when you consider the former and the latter, Who knows the latter and the former?You.know the former.When you know the former, you know the latter.

The man who knows Tao.
The man who knows humanity.
The man who knows myths.
The man who thinks of nothing
But time and space.

All things exist in the Infinite.
All things form the Infinity.
All things form Infinity.
All things have a beginning,
and all things have an end.
The beginning and the end both exist in the Infinite.
That which exists cannot be reduced.
Infinity is beyond all reduction.
It is only by the foolishness of the foolish that the senses of man are reduced.
Only by the foolishness of the foolish does the senses of man become dull.

Lao Tze says, The Tao does not encompass.He who follows it has no pain;He who follows it has no joy.He who is given possessions, is not his own;He who is clung to does not lose it;He who fights is not destroyed.When the way to Te leaves the cave,Clad in white silk, the white emerges;When Tao takes root, then it is tender;When it comes out, then it is abundant;When it functions, then it is growing.The time the high force of heavenOne should keep still, having no end.He can not bear the end.The chariot of Tao can go no further than this square-shaped channel.The golden chalice of Tao is an image and not a substance;Its use can never end.When an army chooses white silk, it does not wash it;A man who wants to win a woman, cannot win her.Thus the TAO may be called the valley of the ancient TaoAnd the eternal oneness between heaven and earth.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao that is without form is void;
it cannot be said of which pain is the consequence;
it is beyond abstraction.
Thus it is at one with all things,
and therefore not troubled.
It alone has no name;
it has no ruler.
If it were said, "It possesses much",
this would be redundant.
If it were said, "It is the originator of the myriad things,"
this would be redundant;
If it were said, "It is the basis of the world,"
this would be meaningless.
The way which follows Tao is beautiful.
Being as white as a cloud,
it is not thought of as a valley.
In one who merges with Tao, he will not miss the point.
If the cart of heaven goes on
but the cart of Tao never stops,
what would it be that would change?
A wilderness would appear,
there would be plenty to do,
one's livelihood would be secure,
and without conflict, one could deal with one's business.
When the world honours the white and the chalice
as the image of God,
how truly is it?
He who can observe Tao is tranquil in

In "the one" there is no artificial mixing;
In "one" the mud is not staining;
In "one" there is no thickening;
In "one" there is no distortion;
In "one" there is no stirring.
These three things come into being
Only by meandering,
They are without origin;
They are not visible to the eye;
And, I can tell,
They are outside.
It is not so bright there;
It is not so dark there;
There is nothing around there;
It is not moving;
It is not in motion.
It is not in motion;
It is not adapted.
Using the mud,
One can see the form.
Using the sound,
One can hear the form.
Use the all-around vision,
One can see the surrounding
And present reality.
One can neither see nor hear;
Only by using a method of change can one be
Safe from harm.
One who uses this great text
Does not rely on appearances,
And understands the world in its essential;
It is thus used by all who are competent
To live in peace and security.

When I embrace the Tao, I see the invisible.
When I embrace the Great Darkness, I see shadows.
When I embrace the perfect cycle of Tao, I see the cycle continuing endlessly.
When I see the subtle thread of Tao, I hear the echoes.
When I breathe life into the tango board, I find Tao constantly floating in front of my eyes.
When I contemplate nature, I find my heart centered.
When I feel that all is within me, I accept the World of Tao as it is.
<|endoftext|>
If you live in Tao-oriented bliss, you see only the invisible; If you live in darkness, you see only the bright; If you live in exhaustion, you see only exhaustion; If you live in exhaustion, you see only emptiness; If you live in fullness, you see only emptiness. This unity of inaudible and audible is called Tao; and this unity of the subtle and tangible is called Being.
<|endoftext|>
When, relying on the goodness of Tao, you see and hear, you see that the Tao is a truth, which is the space in front of your eyes
======================================== SAMPLE 1 ========================================
So the Tao is infinite in the infinite,and as all things depend upon it, it is invisible to the untrained eye.It is like Tao in that it is everlasting and unchanging,and is yet inexhaustible;it returns to the source within, without rest.

"The sage is small and plain, possessing the character of a child.He is like a child in the natural way.He knows how to rise up but not to fall;he has no ears, so he is deaf.He feels about but not knowing where.He is without being in Tao and not understanding the way.It is in this way that all things come to him and not him.It is not in Tao that he knows his being.Without knowing his being he would not exist.He knows the coming but cannot feel the going,Thus he comes to the end without purpose.He would give to nature a part yet will not take anything from it.He wants it to be something new, yet in it the nature is alone.Thus Tao, the unfathomable, cannot be exhausted.It can only be made the object of the mind of man.Because of it all things come to the mind, and from it the mind cannot be destroyed.It is the mind of man's failure that would cause him the failure.He is rejected and rejected."
<|endoftext|>
The great square is humble and beautiful. It may be described as that of a small child. He could be called innocent, absent-minded, ready to act, or return to restlessness.
He is like the melting ice which rises and sets but never yet becomes entirely frozen.
He has the constant present, yet it cannot be realized. If we could figure it out, we should see that the essence is not known at all. It is similar to that of the rising sun which never sets. The light of the rising sun is not in proportion to its brightness, and it is therefore dim. Though it rises, it never sets. He knows the cycle and so never lets go of the cycle. This is the difference between the rising sun and the receding one. Yet even the latter endures.
It is in the same way that the very nature of the universe is unknowable, yet the very universe gives rise to life.
It is because the universe itself does not know that it is the same as all beings, just as it cannot be known, we cannot say that it

If Tao can be grasped, it cannot be looked at. If it can be looked at, it cannot be named. It flows continuously to and fro, without end. It is like the tide. The Dao can't be grasped, so I try to unravel it. If I try to unravel it, it becomes more and more obscure. If I try to name it, I get tangled up. If I try to love it, it vanishes. Like the Dao, the whole universe goes on. It does not stop. It flows on forever.
<|endoftext|>
To know the Tao, you have to know the Dao.
If the Dao is present, it isn't known;
If it isn't present, it's called DAO.
It goes everywhere but never stops.
I call it Tao.
We call it DAO.
Tao goes on forever,
Tao travels forever,
Tao comes back to the center.
Tao will never go away.
It's the most real, unknowable.
It's describable:
It's Direction.
It's name: Tao.
Tao is never named
It's always present
It's always lost.
It's as real as the breath.
It's as far as the sky.
It's as real as the entire universe.
<|endoftext|>
If one could follow the Way, then he would not be aware of it
If he could follow the Way, then it would not be recognised as the Way,
If it were not recognised as the Way, it would become real to him.
The Way is eternal, It cannot be touched,
It is everywhere, but not seen.
It is quiet and still, it is invisible, It is eternal, it cannot be separated
It is the Dao that is immanent.
As immanent, it cannot be touched,
As detached, it cannot be seen
As eternal, it cannot be reduced,
As dimly seen, it cannot be defined
Tao is the infinite, Dao can only exist, It cannot be defined
The Way is the constant, the Dao is transient
<|endoftext|>
So long as one follows the Way, there won't be any doubt.I have no wish to show you what I have seen.It is like the sea,
======================================== SAMPLE 3 ========================================

Heaven is like the perennial rivers (the tao is just like the rivers),
Without moving, it produces whole plants,
And never returns to itself (the person below)
Without intervening, it produces all kinds of plants.
It is the constant, without beginning,
The everlasting motion (mien) of the perennial (jan) streams.
Therefore it is not in what is known (the analysis),
But in what is real (the sign)
We only realize what is true.
(For example, the sign of Heaven is that it does not show its brightness.)
It is the obscurity of the shadowy (qing) (of all things) that we recognize (the understanding) of it.
The more illuminated it is, the more obscure.
The more so, the less there is (enlightened people do not desire to be understood).
The more shadowy (shao) it is, the more brightness there is (about its hiddenness).
Those who master the secret of the Tao do not try to be profound,
We may just name it (the luminosity of the Tao) "wholeness".
(It is not difficult to use the following principle: the likeness of the symbol's form is not blurred.)
From (the mirror) it seems to the Unnameable (the Infinite), and from (the image of) it seem to the Non-existent (the uncreated).
The distinctions between (the Image of) them do not come to be.
The Non-being of them is beyond the being of things.
So is the mystery, the nameless essence (wu-wei), which can be comprehended.
It does not reside in one who has the Tao.
Be committed to the Tao: it is not desireable.
What one does not desire is the place where the Tao is.
It is within you, [being] committed to the Tao.
It is not desireable; the self-made one will not care for anyone else.
In that way one may be
"Just" to know (of the Tao);
"Good" to know (of the Tao).
If that you do not desire, you may be able to lead a true life.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao flows:
Its water is endless,
It flows forever,
It can't be pulled out.
Even in its outer
======================================== SAMPLE 4 ========================================
What the Tao cannot be found, we can name.
Who doesn't see, sounds cannot hear, the physical cannot be seen, doesn't know what time is. The nameless essence of the Tao does nothing, or rather returns to nothingness.The Tao cannot be named; it can be shown, or be unknown, it is always there, it is a thing, and it is something.
It can be grasped, not pounced upon, it cannot be shown, it cannot be said, it can be acted upon, it can change into anything.
What is never spent is then full.
To display this lecture, press the attendent instead on the marquis at the gate.
The Tao never was, so it can be named. Who can name it, can see it. Who can see it, can be observed. Who can be observed, can be known. And this Tao never changes, can change into no-thing.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is not real, yet it is something. Real, it is Tao; it is something which has no limit.
Though Tao is unknown, I know it through my experience of it. Though experience is inadequate, I have just enough. It is beyond me to name. It is always there and changing forever, merging and returning to no-thing.
The Tao is not real. It is Tao.
Only its name, "Tao," can be known. Only the experience of being known can give us direction.
Tao is not real, and is therefore divisible. It is divisible, and is never-ending.
The unbroken continuity of the Tao seems inexhaustible.
It is all there is, yet we are unable to observe it. It is forever changing, yet we cannot examine it.
It is infinite, yet we can only observe the appearance. That which we do observe is ever-changing and inexhaustible.
But it cannot be named. No name can be given it. It is the Dao, and we can only observe it.
Tao is without essence, yet it is an essence. Essential, it is nameless. Infinitesimally small, it is indivisible.
The infinite and nameless is it? Yes, forever. Endless and indivisible, it is all there is.
Therefore, it is infinitely small, yet it is infinite in number.
It is present, yet it is not

To attain to perfection means to lose sight of what is, to lose touch with what is, to let go of all that is.How little it is in the end to achieve perfection! The sage never leaves the Tao. He is without boundary and beyond everything in the world.He never loses sight of the Tao, he only sees the common things.Is there anything that can't be known to the sage? Everything, in its turn, is unknown to the sage.Does the Tao ever change? It is always with us!
<|endoftext|>
He who has attained perfection must also lose sight of what is, be content to let everything remain.How little it is!The essence of the Tao is hidden, Yet the phenomenon of nature, Although all beheld, does not know it.A formless essence, Unnameable, Moving like the morning dew, Leaving no place, Neither reversion nor reaching.Without any beginning,It is like a luminous stone from which comes forth Its (substance) essence.Thus it remains to be regarded as the Tao In every case.

He who has attained the highest virtue loses sight of it. He who has reached the prime of virtue loses sight of the prime. He who has attained the highest virtue is content with what he has and does not get entranced by the appearance of what he has. This is how simplicity itself is impalpable.He who has attained the 'high' is content with nothing. He who has attained the 'high' loses sight of what he has. He who has attained the 'high' finds it wanting. He who has attained the 'high' is content and causes no interference. He who has attained the 'high' loses sight of his own nature. If he has not lost sight of his own nature, He is capable of looking into the mystery of Nature.When he has reached the phase of the Un-noble he loses sight of the Un-noble. He who has attained the 'un-noble' loses sight of the Un-obvious. To lose sight of oneself one must lose oneself.One loses oneself to one's perspective.One loses oneself to One's nature.

The Way:Its physical Form of existence is seen as something that is only seen and not the nature of what it is.The Tao -Its mystical essence is a thing that cannot be seen or named,it cannot be defined in words,it cannot be defined in terms.It is thus absolute;and its physical manifestation is forever permanent.From Tao's beginnings there were all things,but it is no longer their beginningThere is no second coming.Where the beginning of Tao is, there is also the end.Where Tao's greatness lies, there is also its great weakness.From Tao's beginning, there is also a spring.From Tao's beginnings, there is also an overflowing.From Tao's greatness, there is also a emptiness.From Tao's greatness, there is also divinity.From Tao's greatness, there is also energy.From Tao's greatness, there is also sovereignty.From Tao's greatness, there is also enlightenment.From Tao's greatness, there is also desire.From Tao's greatness, there is also delusion.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao never shies away from physical forms. Yet there are things that belong to it that cannot be separated from the spirit that is in it.Thus, even though a Taoist may see the four quarters as 'the sky', it is Tao alone that can be seen.Even though a Taoist may see the four quarters as the ground, there is nothing that can be seen as the ground.Yet as an uncarved block can be shaped by the hand, so too can it be carved into a vessel.When the valley of the Tao begins, the valley of humanity begins.When the valley of the Tao is great, humanity is great.When the valley of the Tao is powerful, benevolence is great.When the valley of the Tao is indescribable, darkness is great.This profound subtlety (Tao) exists beyond human apprehension.Therefore, the totality of the universe can be known by the unity of Infinity.The Tao is without form.

Attain to the supreme. Allow no opposition. Hope that no opposition. The supreme is imperceptible.
It may appear to be everything, but it is the mystery of nothingness.
Always returning, it appears to never come to an end.
Let it be regarded as Tao, and as what is in itself. When the presence of the supreme begins to appear, it is called "the return of the return."
The boundlessness of the return is called "heaven's dark." Heaven's dark is the most remote, beyond perception.
The Tao that is seen is not sufficient. It's not real, so it can be compared to nothingness.
It is without name, and thus is unsearchable.
It is transient, and so is real.
What does the subtle essence of the Tao become?
The universe.
Reaching to the end of creation,The visible form of the universe is absent.Yet it reveals the formless essence.In it darkness appears,And brightness remains.
Reaching to the end of creation,The Eternal Light is manifest.This Eternal Light is incomprehensible.This mystery is the beginning of all light.

He who searches for Tao and does not find it does not understand Tao, for this is the inner reality. He who looks for Tao and does not find it has this alone, and this alone, and cannot be understood.For Tao is always hidden and becomes evident only after the constant awareness of the Tao.That which exists and has no characteristics is called Tao.Not to recognize the Tao and even to attempt to describe it is called the experience of it, for this is called an impalpable, that is to say, it cannot be put into words.It is thus, to say it, is to be guided to the center of Tao, and then to abandon it, to take its road through mystery.From its ultimate source the Tao flows; it flows not in one direction, but both directions.It is unvarying, and has no boundaries.Who can get beyond this effort to describe the "mysterious?" By leaving it alone, and retreating to the present.
<|endoftext|>
He who diligently strives to follow the Tao will always find it; for this is his inner nature.He who diligently pursues to find it does not find it.For in the end it is Tao that is concealed, and not his eye that sees it.Therefore, he who accepts the Tao and finds it; for this is his own natural nature.He who does not accept the Tao and finds it; for this is his own natural nature.He who finds it and cannot find it; for this is his nature.To return to the nature of the Tao, this is called the unknown.To follow the Tao, this is called the Eternal.Therefore:One does not attain Tao but is illumined,One attains Tao but is lost,One attains Tao but is hidden,One attains Tao but is in reality lost.One who does not follow Tao, doesn't attain the Eternal.One attains the Eternal, and discards Tao.

He who diligently works to attain wisdom, does not find the Way, and, so, not being able to experience it.For the Way is something mysterious, and has no appearance, for it is that which cannot be seen, or heard, or touched, or touched.One attains it, and returns to the Way, and even reverts to the Age.Not one attaining the Way, may be identified with it,One attaining the Way

The Sage puts into practice, there is no interruption. Oneness is easy to see. Inseparable from Being. It is hardly to be missed. Inseparable from Being, he observes. Inseparable from Being, his Ego. Inseparable from Ego, he tries. Inseparable from his Ego, he questions. Inseparable from his Ego, he compet. He compet, he advances. He advances, he wins. The Tao is everywhere, but it is not seen; Energetically, it has become evident. It has become evident, but it has been hidden from him. He keeps silence and does not know it. It is unknowable to him. It is invisible, yet it stands out. It is luminous, yet it shines. Yet he who is ignorant of Tao, who is not in touch with the Way, cannot perceive it.
<|endoftext|>
The Sage acts through one means alone. He does not strive to gain.This is how he may be known:He hardly ever looks at,he hardly ever looks away.He hardly ever makes a sound,he hardly ever makes a sound sound.He hardly ever acts,he hardly ever acts. He hardly ever compet,he hardly ever compet.He hardly ever asks,he hardly ever asks.Because he does not seek anything,he may be of use.Because he does not depend on anything,he may live free of blame.Because he is not aware of himself,he may be eternal. Because he does not analyze,his knowledge is universal. Because he will not be an agent,no man can compel him.
<|endoftext|>
The man of action acts only when he knows the limit and at the same time knows he has the inner nature. This means his action is without desire. If his action did have desires it would be accidental. For this reason he considers his action himself as action. His action is not act and he knows he has no motive. Although he acts he will not display his action. He acts because he does not know that his action has any purpose. He does not follow the way of the world because he is yet free from knowledge of the nature of this world. Because his action is actionless, he can act without any external force. Because his action is nameless he can act without being remembered. Because his action is not conditioned by anything, he can act without forgetting. Because

Holding firmly to the Tao, like a baby, It takes its first breath when you are about to breathe
Filling the belly with its taste, it forms words that can never be spoken It tells what to do But can never be told What heart is like rushing to see, It does not see it As though it were only a picture That is momentarily there But soon dissipated It is like melting ice, how great and deep! It will last for ever! "When the capacity of acting is reigned, then begins to conceive the filling-up.
We learn to discriminate it from speech.
We seek it without looking, and indeed return.
The unformed, it produces not, which makes it talk;
The formed, it produces not, which makes it receive not;
So we never have seen them before, yet it causes them to return.
This seems to be the relation of that thing which goes back;
how great the nature of such return is!
How infinite the nature of the return!
It is in its early period it is known;
it is within our sight;
it is before all that, and that is where the marvel appears.
It is before the manifestation of all things;
how profound the nature of this
is!
It may be told that this appears to us without seeing.
It may be told in words.
This is the not having seen it; that its appearance may be seen.
It may be said in words, but not to be seen.
This is the not having been seen.
It is beyond it.
There it may have appeared.
Is it known, or may we only what we see?
Is this we see it?
That is the beginning of it.
We must look in order to see the mother-thing;
But then we are but instruments with no name
If we look, it disappears.
That is why it is so marvelous.
How infinite the nature of its appearance!
How vast is the nature of its return.
These three things together may be named

Stop looking and you'll be aware of the invisible.Not to look will see everything,So be still and aware of the Tao.Be aware of the TaoAnd be aware of yourself.Between the two sets of awarenessAre two outcomes that can be observed;And the latter only happens in the presence of something.To see the Tao in the formless is to experience the void.Being aware of the Tao in form is to experience the perfection of self.Keeping to the Tao of the Infinite is to experience the Teh of the sky.Being aware of yourself is to experience life.The Way is indeed subtle but has a solid base.The way is nothingness but is transcendent. The Way opens to all, but it does not exhaust itself,Exclusivity is but the outcome of Direction.

Looked at, you see only one side.The invisible mind is beyond comparison,yet when you open your eyes, it seems as if you see everything.Not penetrating the Tao at all,One returns to that which is purely physical and detached from this.Is there anything that you don't understand?The Tao is everything within the Tao.I know it to be pure,free from all doubt and all confusion.Knowing this, one simply ceases to be the observer of the world.Is there anything outside of the Tao?This is the emptyness of the Tao.Not seeing its appearance,but seeing it without form.Being close to it,you are free from error.To receive this means to become all-under-heaven.To choose this means to leave the extreme.This is the silent enlightenment of the Way.By ceasing to be what you are you'll be at peace with yourself.Existing without self is the beginning of realization.That means nothingness.That means serenity.To know this is to understand Tao.To leave this is to embrace the uncarved edge.Thus the light can arise from the dark, so to observe the light is to be illumined.By discarding the realization of enlightenment, what's inside is revealed.This is the supreme gateway of all wisdom.

Heaven and earth unite in one wonderful presence,Though there is no visible body yet there are four functions of which I speak:Like breathing in the ordinary human
The Sage is at rest in that presence,So hidden is the Spirit beneath that surface,So perfect is the function of that external face.I understand the sublime then am understanding the ordinary,And to these only do I turn for knowledge.By this I use the ancient doctrine,By knowing I don't need to know,Which is the method of constant enlightenment.
At the climax of the tao ceremony, listen to the low music of the inner life of the leaders and be as a child.Listen to the sound of breathing in your body and hear the tones of the inner quiet.Follow what you want and see it without effort.If you look back you see that now has been forgotten.
Be the one who remains in calm and quiet
When the world is on fire
Be one who remains calm
Stay ahead of your wakening
Be on the same level as always
In the path of Tao
See the flicker of life, but remain beyond the bright eye
Do your part and show the Way
Hold on to the way that flows, yet is not the law
Be a shadow of what you wish to become
In the path of TAO
The appearance of the eternal opens and closes
Even as the wave of life and death
Is always in motion
As your spirit always moves
As your emptiness always serene
Even as your body is always transformed
Even as the five sense organs
In the midst of this form and form
Yet not a moment goes by that does not become radiant
The still waters of the Tao
Are always inexhaustible
Always needing to replenish
When you rest in the peace of the Now

The truly wise are clear, with no sense of confusion, as if being. They have never given thought to their own existence, nor made inquiries about it.As they were not troubled by affairs of importance, they are of less concern to those who desire power.The Tao is passive; being is not. Unconstrained by effort, it is subtle; to those who seek its attenuation, it is calm. To those who seek to know its nature, it is obscure. The one who rules them does not insist, but teaches them simply by example. Through this their own minds become clear. As for actions, these, being without value, are of no advantage to others. To the use of force, they will reject it, but to the humility of simple character they will accept. This is a time of non-being, and you can use this to return to the original.

The man of great wisdom stands alone, as if he was unaware of his nature; Like an unoccupied cave, he is invisible to the world.Not seeking personal results,He transcends 'their' desires.The Tao is like a big boat; each side receives the other,The boat is steady and graceful,It moves without motion, so quiet.The man of Tao doesn't do anything,So he doesn't have to do anything,So the wise doesn't think much.He lets his mind be free of all knowledge,And through it, the whole universe.The Tao is nothingness, and everything is nothingness.Therefore he never seeks out it,And it becomes him.He cannot accomplish what he never sets his mind on.As a return to the starting point,We don't need anything.With a great presence in the world,He goes to the limits.Although he's a man of Tao,Nobody would ever know it,That's why he can go back home.

Simplicity, in ancient times, was esteemed and there were those who regarded it with sincerity. Without language, understanding would be insufficient. One who understands it is still perplexed, still listening to what it has to say. Formless, yet eternal, the form is only a moment's glimpse. How silent! How exquisite! How individual! How complete, how perfect. Every time you step in front of the form, for the hundredth time you step in front of the simplicity, everything is in an orderly manner. Everything is at the same time stable and in motion. We start here but then after completing the picture we leave, we disappear, and let nature go and renew itself. In simplicity and order, there are no divisions. Being alone is indeed great, being in harmony with Nature is great, becoming great is being in harmony with Nature.

As form of oneness dims and brightens, I see the image of oneness.
As form of oneness dims and brightens, I see the ineffable.
The form in that which is pure and good seems
to be illusive, while the image which is plain and good appears
to be obscure.
It is said thatThe oneness
becomes dark, then bright, and
goes dark again as it travels.
As form and image (the oneness)
make one, so each appears as another.
These three
commemorate and form unity.
Moving upon this unity, I see no beginning;
There is no end to this unity.
For, to perceive the unity, I must perceive its contradiction;
I see no end to this unity.
It is said:The oneness of the oneness
appears dim and small;
The oneness of substance appears dim and hard;
The oneness of form appears feeble and withering;
The oneness of form appears dim and despised;
The oneness of form appears imperfect and static;
The oneness of the oneness appears indistinct and dark;
The oneness of the oneness appears indistinct and small.
These three
appear indistinct and obscure.
What is indistinct and obscure is unity;
What is unity appears dim and far off;
What is dim appears far-reaching;
What is far-reaching appears faint and great;
What is great appears faint and all-pervasive.
The ancient and so steadfast rules
also appear to be so.
These three
appear to be one.
The oneness of oneness
appears to be void and immanent.
Form appears to be solid and real;
The oneness of substance appears to be formless and imageless;
Form appears to be real and real;
The oneness of substance appears to be imag

In the valley it is tinged with gold.
It is bright as daylight, but no whitner,

Dissolving like the formless, like an outcast, like a fool,
This it is like falling into that is different from what it, its own point of view,
Feels like.
Because it is different, its point of view, of course, is not how it is.

The Way to the Eternal Truth.
These are my rules:
For the one who has no self:
Know the nature of the great Tao;
For the seeker of self-knowledge:
Treat others as oneself, like you, so they will treat you as yourself.
For the seeker of self-knowledge:
Embrace experience and accept it, too;
Expect no acceptance, then no experience.
Observe these two forms,
And they meet one another,
And you'll understand the common thread.
Then you have understanding the ancient Tao,
And the way to enlightenment.

<|endoftext|>
Abandon vain imaginations;
And the oneness with the Great One,
Matter shall remain unmoved.
Hold fast to the wonder of the Eternal Tao,
And everything in the world, heaven and earth,
Will hold fast to you and understand you.
Embrace the unknown, the unfathomable,
And follow your inner nature, giving it your whole mind.
This is only wisdom of the ancient masters.
Understand the condition of the universe;
Know the world-state.
From this understanding,
Embrace the Beginning of the Way.
Abandon the form,
Embrace the image,
Banish the mental extravagance
Examine all aspects of the Tao.
Abandon the standard of existence,
Embrace the hidden One.
These are mysteries of old,
The unknown in all things.
Mine is the Way that leads to enlightenment.
These are the indications of the ancient Dao,
The first line of the way, the ultimate path.

The highest form is in all things;
it appears as invisible as the invisible.
The lowest form appears invisible,
Though invisible it is visible.
All forms may appear on the surface,
But invisible is the center of all within.

Those with an action always act without concern for their response, those with an idea always think without comprehending their response.
The Tao of the universe is invisible, mysterious, intangible.
What it looks like has no physical existence, nothing can touch it.
The source and the limit, both subtle and material, appear to exist but in every other case this appearance is not real.
We therefore call this Tao the "subtle" and the "further" of the "invisible."
What exists is not things and so is not what we call the "real" or the "infinitely great."
The Tao of all creatures is like an image and the Tao of the universe is like a substance.
Only one thing in the universe contains all things, and this is the Tao.
Therefore, in dealing with all creatures, we know only the solidity and the transparency.
The unseen, the intangible, is hidden in the great, the real.
We realize the real through appearances.
In nature we take for granted appearances.
In our religions we study all that exists as matter, and as a model for all creation.
Thus, in our spiritual practice, we are always aware of the substance, the reality.

To be conscious of one's action is to act without a desire for it; to not perceive its cause is to be aware of its relation to nothingness.

Yet they ride safely on their way to their destination.
Is there no Tao?
Is there not the eternal Tao?
The carriage cannot be destroyed.

Without desire, then, he acts without desire,

He knows himself, therefore he knows the mystery of himself.
He loves without claiming,

Always knowing his innermost nature,

The clarity of Dao was mystery. I do not know when it vanished. Yet I shall try to describe it. It is the square of Dao, since it hardly appears round and it hardly seems to be round. I may try to describe it in words. The square of Dao is never straight; and it has no corners. It takes its place but it has no center. It is light-ed from the inside but it is dark-ed from the outside. That which cannot be lighted is called the invisible. It cannot be darked is called the indefinable. Yet the indefinable is never named, and it is always referred to the shape of the shape. In this shape there are no corners; yet they are the same as the corners. A thing that has no heart is what is dark. A thing that has no mouth is what is hot. These two being the same, they are called the four kinds of heat, so the four kinds of energy are known by this shape, the shape.
That which may be put into words is the shape of the shape. In its shape, it cannot be put into words; it is called the shape.
That which may be dimmed in light is the luminosity; That which may be extinguished in warmth is the stillness; That which may be made dark is the impenetrable; This being the shape of the shape, is always to be found in the method of its method.

Lao Tze says: The six wondrous things will show themselves in so doing to be comprehended; namely, Tao and eternity; the mother of the myriad creatures.Who now looks, in accordance with the Laws of life, for the quiescent light, and who then looks back for the dimming ray, give rise to the notion of the indefinable; that which is known has been obscurely and indistinctly so called; that which is known has been obscurely and indistinctly so called, and the dimen- ance of it has been the object of willful interference. These two phenomena proceed from the same source.Tao and the mother of all things are called in reference to the light, that is to the mum in order to refer to the light; the mother of the myriad creatures is called in reference to the darkness, that is to the undying to refer to the indescribable.In order that the indescribable may be recognized, we must extend our reference to the light.Therefore the oneness of the comprehending source is identical with the likeness of the transcendent.Likewise the oneness of the transcendent is identical with the oneness of the oneness of the transcendent.The oneness of the oneness of the oneness of the oneness of the oneness of the comprehending relation exists, but is unclear.It is thus we can learn about the oneness of the oneness of comprehending.

The body is the beginning of the universe. The mind is the source of all knowledge. The mind is like a great river or stream. Through the mind is received all thoughts and ideas.
When we stop and look, we will never see the next step. By watching the journey, we experience the beginning of all things.
One who acts from experience comes home to the beginning of things. For example, having arrived at the halfway point in life, one can return to the earliest moment. Looking ahead at the completion of all of one's life is a natural response to experience.
So if you practice what is true, you become content with the appearance of what is true. If you accept what you have, you return to the source of life. When you see the actualness of things, you stay at their core.
By nonconformist ways of thinking, people see only their self-interests and reject true teachings. By nonconformist methods of knowing, people see only their own motives and reject the source of true knowledge. When we blow the whistle on things and blow the whistle to all people, the problem becomes a non-issue. When we blow the whistle on things and blow the whistle to all people, the results become apparent.
Thus, one who accepts the Way and follows the Way will stay with the Way and experience the potential of all things. That way is the least done and the most enduring.

The invisible virtue does not dwell in itself, but in the corporeal.
The intangible virtue does not dwell in itself, but in the clear vision of the corporeal.
The superficial virtue does not dwell in itself, but in the form of appearance.
Those who practice the precept of honesty, sincerity and humility,

and comprehend the form of nature.
They live in harmony with the Spirit of Nature, and become one with it.
They do not seek the corporeal appearance of the spirit.
The physical form of the spirit appears, but the spirit has no physical form.
Man's being, however, is the manifestation of the spirit.
The invisible essence is the form of the spirit.
The intangible essence is the substance of the spirit.
The receptive and receptive-inward, are but one in one.
Man's being is the manifestation of the spirit, the spirit's manifestation.
In natural order, non-content is regarded as the fruit of good fortune.
Emptiness, however, is regarded as the fruit of misfortune.
The Way, then, to the world, is not one thing, but the fruit of different actions and acts.
It is not concerned with that which the Absolute Tao is.
Therefore, those who recognize the Tao are the One Spirit.
Those who recognize the form of the Tao are their self.
Those who recognize the receptive spirit are their inner essence.
Those who recognize the form of the Tao are their mere material possessions.

It is intangible, like an impenetrable shell. It cannot be named, it is totally intangible. It goes back to the beginnings of time, and it is everything!

How pointless and repugnant is the DAO. Who dares to have a DAO - One who cannot be compared with the DAO. Who can call himself DAO - It is useless, unmanageable. Who can try to describe it - The DAO is a vague nameless dark space. A vague undefined dark dark nameless nameless darkness. How vague! It cannot be defined. It has no beginning. It can go on forever. It is empty, It is formless, It can never change. Yet it has been throughout the ages and returned to its origin.That is how elusive.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is not a thing. It is not visible, and therefore there is no presence in it. It is not tangible, and therefore there is no form in it. It is not (being) that which is tangible, and therefore there is no desire in it. It is not a thing. Yet in what it does there is no distinction. It is not a thing. Yet it is inexhaustible. It is unquenched, and remains unquenched ever.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao is intangible. Filled with nothingness, no shape. Quiet and silent, it looks like a valley. Yet it may be infinite.
<|endoftext|>
Tao is not a thing.It is not visible, hence there is nothing there.It is not tangible, hence there is nothing there.It is not an object, hence there is nothing there.It is not a thing.Yet in what it does there is distinction.It is not a thing.Yet it is inexhaustible.It is infinite, it returns to its beginnings.Ish not here defined it returns to the root.It is called mysterious,the realm of shadows

To know this has its roots in the formless
and the form of the invisible.
Follow the Tao that is true and lasting.
By knowing the ancient beginnings
One can appreciate all.
To know the ancient beginnings is to be still;
to keep the form of the invisible
is to see;
to see it is to call it through;
to know it is to be free;
to know it is to be present;
to be free is to be like Tao.
To be like Tao
Is to be at the very beginning
(the most ancient of beginnings).
To know the ancient beginnings is to know the Tao
The eternal beginning.
This is the first thread in which all others come together,
And the beginning of all created things.
Tao is from the beginning
Silence is for silence
The Tao that is pure is within
To know the truth is to know the past
To follow the Tao is to be like Tao
To be the beginning of all things
This is called the mother of the ten thousand things
To know the past is to be free of fear
To be free of fear is to be at one with the things of the universe
To be at one with the things of the universe is to be in the beginning, and with the Tao.
This is the Tao that is eternal, and so formless and all-encompassing.
It is boundless and inexhaustible.
Its name is immeasurable, so named only the names of things come from.
And these come from the name and then the manifestname
And the manifestname of the mother of things.
This is the way of the past that is present; the mode of the present that is past; the way of the past that is never-ending; the Tao of the present.
Tao is to all things the beginning; immeasurable, pure and changeless; all things the mother.
All things are mother to one another, and so they are all not troubled by desire and contentment and desire is overcome by all-embracing contentment.
Therefore, the Masters can teach one another, and as they see all things, so they teach their children.
Because all things are the same with the Tao, all things go to it; all things can go to it; and so all beings can go to it.
And because it is all-embracing contentment, because it

To speak in truth is to be open and fruitful. To be repressed is to preserve the shadow. Reach-back, for it cannot be reached, Is beyond all comprehension.
Nameless, beyond all word; Unfathomable it appears; Reaching for, there is no understanding; it is beyond all understanding. Facing it, it seems not to be seen; Reaching for, there is no acknowledgment; It is beyond all fulfillment. Unmoved by the world it may stay; Not looking for experience, Nor reaching for nourishment, Is distinct.
This is called the very Tao, and that which precedes its beginning. This is called the Tao deep; and by what is there not that is certain? Be desirous of knowing it, Put in order your experience. This is called deep.
For the Tao to which the ancient streams return is not to be named. Be not desirous to have knowledge of it, And be willing to go with the rivers.
To yield to a muddy stream is to make it muddy.
To speak a name to the Tao is not a name.
Naming does not make it real.
Real is before all names.
To be weak, what is it that gives it strength?
If we look deep it is not luminous.
If we look for it we cannot find it.
And if we have no mind of our own to return to, it will never leave us.
This is called the unnamable.
This is the mystery of the unnamable, The beginning of all mystery.
It is the tapestry of all tapestries, From the One that flows back to the Unknown.

To hold to the Tao:
The ocean does not rush and wither,
Yet it is without substance and without space.
Like a hole it lacks anything it searches;
If it were filled, it could not be held.
To press upon it, it would not be opened;
To want to possess it, it could not be possessed.
But to hold to it, it is not understood.
It is beyond measure, and cannot be resolved.
Looking within, the shadow has no beginning;
Extending beyond image, it returns to nothing.
To be restrained to it, there can be no further development.
To receive it is

The path of the Tao is clear, bright
Dark like the sky.
You cannot see it.
You cannot see it well.
It is unending and formless.
It is that which is beyond description.
Examine it with your eyes,
and you cannot see a single thread.
Use your hands,
and you cannot touch a single block.
See it with your nose,
and you cannot see a single strand.
In its infinite subtlety,The Tao is hidden and cannot be seen.
Its essence is timeless, and has no beginning.
Draw near it and you cannot see a single thread.
Desolate it and you cannot see a single leaf.
See its essence and you cannot see a single thread.
It is the formless, the unknowable that is the thread of the Tao.
The Tao in its subtlety reveals the beginning of all creation.
Through its subtlety, the creative Tao can illuminate its origins.
A time and a place no longer matter.
Remember this timeless beginning:
To see it is to live in it,
To grasp it is to lose it.
To approach it is to lose sight of it.
To hold onto it is to lose sight of it.
To lead it is to lose sight of it.
To be auspicious of it is to lose sight of it.
The tao is not manifest
And cannot be known.
Be humble,
you will find the Tao,
To know it is to be.
To have the Tao is to have self.
One without self needs self;One with self needs the Tao.
Abandon desire and existence,
and the Tao will be your vessel.
To love this is to be a vessel;
to be unkind is to be a vessel.
To take offense at this is to be a vessel.
Don't be a vessel to the Tao,
and it will not lead you astray.
Who is threadless
can be examined,
one who can see will be abandoned.
Who is white cannot be seen,
one who can see cannot be abandoned.
Who is within one's grasp can never be lost,
one who is cut off from one's connection will be cut off from one's life.
Examine what is and become aware of what is,
take hold of what is and turn it around.
Stay away from things that do not exist,

The master never becomes exhausted.
With all that he studies, he never reaches exhaustion.
At the Gate of Reality,
What emerges is without name.
Inaudible, incomprehensible.
Invisible, mysterious.
Inwardly visible, yet is not seen.
Retrospectively visible, yet is not seen.
Its distance is beyond speech.
Being beyond its return,
It is an ephemeral sign.
This ephemeral sign -
Auspicious, obscure, not yet known,
Subtle and obscure, yet unmistakably known.
The First Cause.
The First Essence.
The Essential - Within The Core.
The Open Door.
The Door to the Whole.

The Masters never receive the sense of exhaustion
After accumulating a body of learning they are never exhausted.
In the gate of the Tao, what does it look like?
It has no shape, it has no image, no image, no shape, no image, nothing.
We may look at it, it is nowhere seen.
Never seen, it is something forgotten.
To return to it again - to say, be consumed by it.
As it is unknown, we can call it appearance.
This appearance - the
Deep Light - is obscure and deep,
truly insignificant.
It may be called the beginning of All Things.
In the name of the King it is called light
To the enlightenment, is means, with the Tao.

Who excels in abstraction does not exhaust the body;
To him, everything appears dark. To him, the cosmos appears muddled.
What is unclear seems to be existing.
The mystery is unknowable, it may appear.
Those who try to grasp it, they grasp it not.
They have no objective beyond themselves.
Emptiness allows the next level to appear.
<|endoftext|>
The Sage never abandons learning,
Because of it he can possess the body.
The Light of the Cosmos in the daytime is not boundless.
It is not the light of Dao itself.
Is it true? It's incomprehensible.

worthily displayed are not empty.
Worthy pieces are scarce and worn;
worthy pieces are plentiful and new.
Worthy pieces do not lay themselves waste;
worthy pieces are not worn out.
Great and small things don't exist,
for only when we are things can we be.
Therefore "being" in the Tao
means nothing,
and so it is the beginning of all beings.
We must know the "thing",
know the "thing" and the beginning of everything.
This is called the nameless "thing".
From now on, this is called the most important thread in the Tao
to which we are bound.
Thus I call the Tao the nameless object of the universe.

Those who have much do not rely on themselves
Some people are able to get there
and others are not.
Some people appear to be different from the rest
and others are the same.
What they lack in stature, they make up for with giving.
What they have in virtue, they honor.
What they have in frugality, they preserve.
What they have in wealth, they have plenty.
What they have in strength, they trust.
People in the world of men are all different and at times unique.
We owe this to what is unique in them.
The person who possesses the Tao finds himself within the world
and in it all things depend on him.

Fantasies that originate in the individual imagination are not true
How long do these fantasies last?Do they last until they break? Or are they filled up?How are these things filled up?Are these things nebulous?Porous and vapoury, they can never be seen.
Easily perceived by the seer, they are unknowable.
Like the formless Being without form, and like the substance of the Being without form,
It is inexpressible, all-pervading and uncarved, forever.
Hold to it, but you can never be possessed;
Fool yourself and you will never be rejected;
Focus on it, and you can never withdraw from it.
This is called the Tao hidden and undiscovered.
It can long endure the life of all ages.
From the beginning to the end, it is eternal.

Things in reality are like the empty space of the Tao
The mind of a scholar works like a cess pool
If the mind is empty, the possibilities cannot be known
If the mind is full, the possibilities are known
But if they are not then nothing is understood
Therefore, when things of the space are no
The space must not be the empty space
Mustn't there have been empty spaces?
The space where there is no bounds.
The void, which is without limit.
The unerring circle:
The Formless, It is invisible
The Formless, it is real.
The Real, It is immanent.
The obscure is obscured.
So is it throughout.
How can it be seen but by the light of the Tao
How can it be grasped but by the grasp of the Tao
How can it be known only by what it has experienced
How can it be formless, Not an effect of the Tao
Understanding the Tao is the height of understanding.
This is the root of all knowledge.
The student who lives in love with the Tao can become like the Tao and the remainder of reality of the mind
Return to the Tao like a little child returns to the mother and she nourishes the child
Return to the body as if you are eating a bowl of jade
Return to the Tao as if nothing happened.

Tao - considered as the model of existence (being and non-being).
Beyond being and non-being, Tao - never in danger of being shown off as something else.
Like Yin and Yang, It is beyond calculation and analysis.
So it can exist in nothingness, creating itself and itself, But forever without a name.
Yet its "Wise One" has given names to many things: Fish - fish for the Tao fish, Grain - grain of Tao Tao, Music and music for Tao Tao, Plants and plants of Tao Tao, Thread and thread of Tao Tao, Each having its own name - "the Grand Matter".
It is beyond calculation and analysis and is the center of all the galaxies of Tao.

Heaven and Earth: regarded as a model of existence.
On the other hand: the relation between Yin and Yang: [but] - imperceptible,
swirling, unperceivables.
Distant but subtle, it cannot be named.
To understand it one must be near it.
To grasp it is to lose it.
Undefined and uncountable, it travels without end.
To approach it and not reach,
to stare and not see,

this is called "universe" [yung]
Composure, passion, and immanence: - [yet] hidden

The embracing one conquers the other.
The no-composing, no-fear : - [yet] timeless.
The relationship between Heaven and Earth [2]

Through its unity (mo) the ancient is uniquely distinct.
One who embraces it understands the ancient.
One who embraces the One understands the One.
The unity of the ancient and the One

The highest form is to remain in the present state.That is to say, it remains still as a rock.Is there any concrete thing in it that cannot be carved away?Is there any image in it that cannot be described?Is there anything in it that cannot be loved, it is something unknown.
When you grasp the living thread of the universe, you understand the origin of everything.By knowing the origin, you can understand its separation from the real.

The highest form has become the Image of the tangible world
The highest image has become the ancients abode.
The ancients abode cannot be carved away, and cannot be named.
Can you name them?
Why, within themselves are things unimaginable, indefinite,
Untraceable, unchanging, like dust.
But by penetrating deep within them, you can know their origin.
In this way you can know the beginnings of things.
To grasp this is called the Tao.
To grasp Tao is to become known of the heavens.
To know of the heavens is to know of the origin of all things.
To know the origin of all things is called enlightenment of the natural world.
By the natural world we can experience the natural past.
To experience the natural past is called enlightenment of the metaphysical world.
This is called the beginning of Tao.

Being far beyond their limits,
Beyond them remain the tao's wonders.
The wonder of the tao lies deep within
That within us can be made.

The highest form is born of the Becoming of all things,
When simplicity is filled with namelessness.
After assuming the form of abstraction,
Name-making doesn't exist anymore,
What is known is beyond measure.
Within you can be found infinite expanses,
Beyond the limit of the container,
It can be seen clearly.
Without your vessel, your image,
This also exists.
Thus it is possible to apprehend its fullness.
