There is no mystery to Tao,Only the pure essence is possible. If you want to learn about it,It will be better to just go along with it.
The world of men is endless,And each valley is full of water.Water is the spirit of all things. It enters and leaves without end.I always feel like the root of the world. How can it be withdrawn? If you can leave,You can stay.
<|endoftext|>
The spirit of the world is, in the extreme, liquid and receptive. If you want to go to see it, you ought to stay at home. The root and the progenitor are indeed each other, and both are the deeper and more expansive spirit of the world.Where the root and the progenitor are, they are the same principle; and where the root and the progenitor are, they differ; and where the root and the progenitor differ, there is contrast. As for distinction, it is the following:As for the root, here is a big one; so for the progenitor, there is a smaller one. Thus, here is a big one,and for the root, there is a smaller one;and for the progenitor, there is a larger one.So, here is a big one,and for the root, there is a smaller one.

The world is like that of the dark: And its divinity is derived from its manifold forms, The valleys fill with water, And the spirit flows to them, while at the same time using the place and channel of the world. The root and the beginning were, and so they are. Were the root and the beginning to be dissimilar, They would differ in their distinctions; The dissimilarity would be within itself, That within itself there is richness, And we have within ourselves a depth; The deeper and more deep it is, The more it is able to devour.

The Tao flows like the untain'd Great Tao flows and it is all The blood-dwelling waters. Of which there is a lot and it is as

The gentle heavens have no tears, though they have shed such a multitude of tears.
The valley man is without tears, though he has shed tears for countless ages.
The progressive flow of life flows only from this source;
Yet if the state itself ceased to be thus,
Who would take charge of this gradually advancing thing?
Since it has no head, no one but he.
As flowing in its own way, It gradually fulfills its motive.
As constant, it will never vanish.
Whenever it fails to satisfy its motive,
Who can blame it? For where there is no ambition,
Inactivity will neither set in nor end.
<|endoftext|>
The gentle heavens lack a tear, thus they do not recoil; The valley man lacks a tear, thus he does not fall; The progressive movement of the Way thus does not lose it's fulness; Therefore, as we have no desire,Heaven and earth could not maintain it.So, a good man should govern the people,And be a follower of the Valley.

The constant and ancient yang was forlorn, like a sad valley

The valley man has become helpless like an infant,
without sight or hearing to know what is going on.
The movement of the Way has yet to make its way to the center,
and therefore still like a valley breathless like an infant.
But if one could pour it with his breath,
it could yet complete its perpetual breathing.
If only, there was no desire to maintain it,
The valley man's power might flourish.

A wit is able to be half correct,
but not to surpass yourself.
Lao tzu, being half-guile,
doesn't act deliberately;
Yet somehow in seeming, he can be perceived
as inexhaustible.
The valley spirit is always gentle,
but it never loses heart.
The roots of heaven and earth are always formless.
And yet their dust is inexhaustible.
If we use it, it is never exhausted.

A wit is insufficient in space.
Yet it does not lose its sharpness.
The valley spirit is unhewn;
yet it does not fail.
The root of heaven and earth is never wasted.
And yet it is inexhaustible.
When it is utilized, it can be renewed again.
It has no walls of its own,
but is never insufficient.

Tao is full but it never drags. Being not finished, it remains flexible. The formless valley gives life to the earth. The unvarying course of Heaven and Earth give life to the universe. Without trying to achieve, it always returns.

Tao is empty and does not wish to be filled. It is good at the end, but it is not good at the beginning. How can you fill the belly of the world with the jade? The spirit of the Jade valley is good at the end but not good at the beginning. It is in the spirit of the unenlightened that the world's life depends on it.

The soft and the strong, the great and the small, all have their origins in the Dao.Therefore, if one does not grasp the Dao's great power, he is lost. Let there be Tao, and the Dao will have good power for the earth. If the Dao is not good at the end, all things return to earth.
<|endoftext|>
The nature of virtue is but unillusion. It never seeks, and never loses sight of its source. It is like a valleybed, full, but soft and sound.Unravel it,and there will be the earth.Follow the sun,but do not falter. When the earth is filled it is exhausted, but when the Dao is natural,it has abundance.

From the past to the present are the curves and the valleys which the Tao calls the deep and mysterious. These were once profound and mysterious. They are the doors of the abyss. The Mysterious deepness opens with the abyss. The Innermost Point of the Universe is with the Mysterious deepness. Tao is a system of methods to help the Universe. The method of the Tao is not a law but is of mysterious origin.

In the olden times the valley reached a height of the utmost simplicity, its radiance full of wonder.Without such wonder, what is it worth? If the River Pudong has no flow it still flows to the next channel. Its depth is such that it looks into the valleys, yet it disappears to the far shores. The following wordsmith leaves behind what he conceives to be superior, He fails, yielding to what is superior. He, leaving what he conceives, surrenders himself to what is superior. As such, it is like retreating into the River to which it flows. Who can pay homage to the valley, by channeling it? It's muddy. It takes it up to the highest place, where it can never be depleted.

Seeks unity to achieve Unity.

Its dao seems to have no particular shape
Rather, its emptiness seems to be endlessly filled
Boundless and endless, like a spring of great water
And all things depend upon it
In turn it depends on them
These depend upon it and it increases
It is a spring upon which we all depend
In this way it produces
The great central talent
Of great central talent it seems to have no particular shape
Its formless emptiness, its limitless fullness
Is, I believe, a valley.
This is the valley of great fullness
Wherein, within all the things and beings
We all depend.
In return we depend upon it
And it produces.

The ability to observe the way it really is is called ability to walk in the stillness and depth.

When he moves to the world, he follows the world.

The Way of the Ancients was always subtle, so subtle it can't be seen, like a shadow. That's what I think of when I think of heaven and earth.
They make use of nothing, like the shadowy sun or the nebulous darkness.
Their reality is absolute, far beyond perception. They are like the valleys beneath the heavens.
Can you conceive a valley that's so dark? Can you picture a valley like that where all the water is still and ice forms on the surface? When the sky is clear, the valleys form and become something far more than the ocean.
Can you picture the next step of human civilization?
When the Tao becomes evident, people think of it, too.
They try to help it but no one knows how, so it remains open.
Can you conceive what the future will look like?

The Tao of old was not light and it shines, Because it hardly touches something.
All that can be seen of it is light, Shining, like some shadow cast by the sun or as ice form under the darkness.

It flows and grows and keeps renewing until it reaches far.
Before the Time of the Child: It became the valley to all beneath heaven, Its valley to the blossom of the woods and thistles and flowering of the meadow and the valleys of the streams, So deep and secret that even the most wise will not know it, And so it lasts forever.

It flows until it is unchained, and then it gives forth with a forceful speed.

The power of the Tao is infinite and eternal. The one who holds it and uses it can never lose it.Therefore the ancient people called it the limitless, the undying. They said that even though they may live they never cease to live.It was because of their immortality that they could live.
The tree of life appears and then dies. But it does not go away.It is the root from which all things sprang. And in a certain way it is also like the mother of the universe. As the universe is immortal, it is also immortal. It is unknown, yet it cannot be destroyed. The universe can be utilized only in a natural manner. Therefore, whoever wants to use it is bound to be methodical in their use.

The Tao that can be comprehended is the subtle and intangible Life-force (Tao).Yet if we try to understand its essence, we will be constrained by what is evident, because we have no objective perception (as in) its essence.

The highest point is nothingness; the lowest is movement. What is not moving takes on the form of what is. What is without motion takes on the form of what there is. What is never changed takes on the form of the perpetual. Thus by moving we get what is; by stopping we get what is.
Thus movement endures and being ends.
Being is this: what it finds at the center is indeed there.

I do not know where it came from but I believe

The Tao that exists in the center of the universe

It is the source of the Tao itself.
I do not know where it came from, but I also believe that it is the origin of the world.

In ancient times the rulers of the Earth followed the DAO.The DAO was the great mystery (Tao). It was constant, elusive, incomprehensible.
It is a mystery within a mystery.
People look at it,
But hardly ever meet with it.
It is the mother of all things.
The people call it "the True Way."
I call it "the Tao that is not easy to comprehend."
"The Tao that is difficult to understand."
That is the origin of this world.
The people call it the Great Mystery.
I call it "the name of the Tao that is difficult to comprehend."
The origin of the Great Mystery.
People call it the Great Tao.
I call it "mystery."
Mystery is the beginning of all things.
People call it the "Second Matter."
Mystery is the mother of everything.
The Tao that exists in the middle is also the mother of the ten thousand things.
It is the "female" that created all things.
I do not know where the mother came from.
I also believe that she is the origin of the ten thousand things.
Tao that existed before the birth of the universe is the mother of all things.
It is the name that the male (the Tao) uses to talk.
I call it "self."
I do not know the origin of this self.

Because it is one with the Tao, a person becomes enlightened.
Because it is a person, enlightened, a person is capable of realization.

Since ancient times, there has been a positive relationship between Tao and man. In the Tao are interpenetration and complement each other.
Throughout the cosmos, man's body is one with the Mother.
In the life of the world, the life of man is connected to the Mother.
Since the source of existence is constant, one may have insight into the Mother's origin.
Since the universe is constant, one may know the nature of the source.
Since constant awareness of the source is one with constant awareness of the mother, one can sense her significance and manifest her.
Manifesting unity to the source, one may become a wise creature.
Manifesting unity to the mother, one may become an intelligent being.
Manifesting unity to the universe, one may be acknowledged as one with the universe.
Since the Tao pervades and permeates, one can meet the Tao wherever one goes.
Though there may be different ways of being, the point is the same:
The Tao is always present, yet cannot be experienced.
Since it cannot be experienced, one cannot experience its true nature.
Therefore, one may choose the nature of the Tao.
Achieve enlightenment through practicing the Tao.
Create the universe through practicing the Tao.
Accept the universe because a truly wise person embraces the universe.
Realize this unity and become truly whole.

True Name (	-yang) is the very Source of all things; the Dao is forever without end.It is the Life that continues to exist forever and a day, so long as it is breathing in and out.It is the Dao that is always.

Applying this as the guiding principle one then receives Tao.

Nature's cosmic unity is known as the male.
Nature's cosmic unity is known as the female.
These two:
The female and the male
are constantly revolving.
Truly,
Nature's nature is infinite.
Rigorously, completely,
Truly,
Nature's nature is eternally present.
It is just like the void.
Truly,
Nature is infinite and has no end.
Nature is eternally present.
It is like the female and the male.
It is constantly moving.
It is not something that stops to be.
Truly,
Nature is both eternally present and inexhaustible.
It is invisible and thus easy to grasp.
In light of this we can see that it is possible to encounter nature.
Thus,
Nature is known as the female.
And the male.
<|endoftext|>
The bright Origin is female. It is the female from which the planets arise.
The dark origin is male. It is the male from which the planets die.
These two become one
By following it and dying.
And so all beings spring from it
Thus on their eternal and inexhaustible road
There is nothing they do not do
And nowhere they do not try.
The bright origin
Is ever here.
And through it we shall travel
Upon the thousands of natures
To the source of all we touch
Through ever-greening.

These are the two equally female and equally male,

Of the heavens, of the principle of governing men, of destiny.

Heaven and Earth are hewn from the raw wood of an oak; and all that exists is formless. The wind and the sun illuminate the earth, and their light is of no avail to them.
We do not know them by them. Only by the Way do we know them.
The root is the root; the ends are the means. He who uses the root overcomes by means of the means.
The Tao that does not exist is called the Principle of Non-existence.
The Path that does not exist is called the Principle of Existence.

Heaven and Earth are cut from the tree of an oak, and are ever formed of nothing but a single piece, empty of form,
While the winds blow on it and the sun shine on it without end;
These are of no worth to them, and therefore they have fashioned them, to serve as the means to use for their own ends.
The principle which has no name is then the tao of form.
The Tao which has name is the way of action.
<|endoftext|>
Heaven and Earth are cut from the trunk of an oak. They arise from what is empty of shape, but without substance, pure of intelligence, flowing free from all restraint, immoveable, unchangeable.
The wind and the sun are heavenly qualities without a shape; these do them no harm, therefore they are instruments for their preservation, as well as tools for their use.
The Tao which is not the tao, is only the form of tao.
The Tao that is the tao, is called the mysterious name of the immaterial.
<|endoftext|>
The world is cut from the tree of an oak. It is unformed and empty.
The wind and the sun are natural colors.
But they destroy all but we never see their effects.
Therefore the Master of men wishes to use the uncarved block.
The uncarved block of uncarved block is the formless.
Without a shape, without substance. This is the uncarved block.

The Way embraces all beneath heaven. All beneath heaven comes to the One, wholeness, serenity and beauty of the Way.
To live like this is to be complete.
To be unfaithful, to meet fate, is to be unfaithful to the One.
The Way embraces all beneath heaven, the tao embraces the universe. Through the Tao and life, you can be whole. Through life and the tao, you can be whole. Through the tao and life, you can be whole.
The Way has beauty, and the tao has substance. They are the same. Both of them can be integrated with life, and thus can be loved by the Tao.
When you love the Way, it becomes your life.
The tao has substance, and the Way acts as a body. The tao acts as a body, and the Way acts as a body.
We have power, and the tao acts. We have ability, and the tao acts.
Because we have power, and the tao acts, it acts.

One of the manifestations of a chaotic and imperceptible Mystery,All beings exist on the basis of the Tao.By thus seeing that the existence of the world is by nature imperceptible,The person of Tao will constantly return to the nature of the world.Even though, being small, the small takes a long time to red,As one ever selflessly does everything for the world,Through one's actions without any intention,Everything will continue to grow. The Tao (the way) always seems to me deep; That, however small it may be, it illumines everything. This is why the Sage may be understood as the model of Tao.Even though he may be small,He may always seem to me profound. The Sage may be ruled by Tao,But Tao never disowns him;And even though he may be extremely small,In this he will be always in front of Tao.If the Tao (the way) seems of the very essence of things,The concept of the small always appears to me deep. This is the reason why, even though I have many things, I never cease to be small.Being deep, the Tao is always present,Deep and constant, it brings forth all things. It can, indeed, be called the state of the nameless.Wherefore it may be said to be the source of the universe. For the universe, and by it, everything that is possible. What is so deep, it is permeable. It is the root of Heaven and Earth.

This inexhaustible virtue must be the ultimate essence of all things. On earth it may be the source of material and kernel, even in its shorn glory, its richest, most bountiful substance. The earth is indeed the abode of Heaven, and the creative power of Tao is the basis of all things. With Tao one always remains, and it has no need of a body to dwell. The Tao is infinite, its meaning is obvious. In creation and destruction, what is created, is surely indeed the One. In humanity and honor, what is done. The highest Mystery is hidden, All things are veiled in its presence, The house is shrouded in its light. The valley is ever present, It is the house that is the source of its light. The Te does not desire to be spoken of,It is for its mystery, which is hidden,That it is well known, And that from henceforth, when you want to talk,

The way which is without a name;
The Way which can be spent beyond counting;
The Image of the Way,
The mother of Tao,
It is through this Image that Tao should be known
And all things through it.
The way which is still is dull.
The ways which can be spent
It is through them which we can see
The primal simplicity and hidden mystery
That is the heart of Tao.
It is only after having revealed it,
We can know
What it means to return.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao (Way) which is really nameless is inexhaustible; It alone can be devoted to use, and which can be used without obligation.
The Way which can be talked of is at once luminous and dull. The Way which is cleverly told is obscure and obscurely real. The Great Image which pervades the secret may be known only by the inward eye; This is the mysterious Mystery; the Tao.
Luminous, it manifests itself through the visible, This enables us to see its beautiful qualities. Darkness, it manifests itself through the inner darkness, This enables us to see its ignominious aspects. These two aspects, the inner darkness and the outward darkness, are what makes the Image of the Image the Primal Image.
Thus we all know it when we look at it.
In which way can we guide the Tao?
From its hidden greatness, We can use it to make the world our kin.
From its inscrutable qualities,

A wooden vessel, though made of good wood,
Will not last.
It cannot meet the wisdom of Heaven.
So, in using the valley of Tao to build the vessel
I make the vessel the embodiment of Tao.
I use it as a model for all things.
When the images arise,
I discard them.
Return to the earth and you will see the roots of the earth;
When the light shines upon the depths of darkness
You will see the reflection of the valley.
That is why the Mer will never die,
And the Great One will never lose.
<|endoftext|>
Be faithful to the ten-thousand things but spare yourself the superfluous food. This will serve as the base of the Tao. Using earth as the base, allow your vessel to remain unchanged. Using the earth's image, allow your image to remain unchanged. In the case of music and theater, not using the instruments will not harm the effects of Tao. In the case of flower petals, not using the straw will not injure the flower. This is called perfection.
Those with empty belly do not use the belly of Tao. Therefore, those who prefer the Tao to this are not affected by the trunk or the root of the world. This is why the original essence does not end.The great person does not lose his way. This is why the great Tao will never go astray.
<|endoftext|>
Be not devoted to yourself,
but spare others.
This is how a household can become its own house.
It is when the Earth is the base that Tao is developed.
Therefore the Sage makes it not the source of Tao,
but uses it as the model for the world.
When the multitude of things come to light,
they need not be discarded.
This is called taking care of the One.
When the images of a plant or tree appear,
they must not be discarded.
This is called using the One as a model.
When instruments of the body come into being,
they must not be abandoned.
This is called focusing on the One as the center.
And when the Way ends, the other Way will come into being.

These five vital notes are true depending upon one's space.
Clarity comes from being yet undiscovered,
It is reality's seed.
All things are born but lack completion.
What grew up cannot be had;
The difference of ideas has no place.
Reach for the light in the darkness.

Super-bright Luxe is the DE|>s mother.
The world doesn't know it yet,
The valley doesn't know it yet,
The empty space in the middle
Makes everything alive and human.
Who can see all this yet is not able to see it
Does not yet know the mother?
The five notes are simultaneous and part of a whole.
When the heart is full,
The valley is empty.
When darkness comes upon the world
The sky is illuminated.
It is the opening of the heart that makes the world clear.
<|endoftext|>
Precisely because the physical body is of so great attraction and tension,
There is something in the middle that can always be at my elbow.
The place where the valley empties itself.
The place where the earth clears itself from its lonely impassiveness.
Where the silent virtue of the ancient times was dwelt.
Who would not see where this came from?
How could he not find its application?

The polite man looks like a badge of honour,
The gentleman looks like a crown of thorns,
The valley looks like a lowing place,
The hillside looks like a deserted valley,
The lonely mind looks like an empty home,
The virtuous look as though worn and full,
The full looks like a new head.
This looks like a relation to some hidden Tao.
<|endoftext|>
The respectful gentleness of a gentleman is never enough for me; he is always forced to bend under a gentleman's dignity. The valley valley of a gentleman is always all vacant; The earth valley of a gentleman is always empty. The sage stands alone in the valley, and has no one to turn to; The heart-felt void of the sage is the only center for his being. The five notes of the Tao all converge in one in a Tao that hath a head. For this reason, when the gentleman is well, the gentleman is magnificently polite; When the gentleman is not well, the gentleman

They are different in name:
The simple soul is the mother of Heaven and Earth.
The formless mind is the mother of the myriad creatures.
Knowing the one's self;
One may be the transcendent
Understanding the other's self;
One may be in perfect harmony.
Thus, the sage sees
And yet keeps to the open vision;
The sage acts but keeps to the subtle action.
Thus, the True Spirit is possessed by all.
<|endoftext|>
They say:
The spirit that creates the heavens is the soul of the universe.
The spirit that governs the universe is the true self.
In the light of this, we can recognize the difference.
The universe is always alive, like a flower. It is in darkness as if it were new-fashioned. Looking at the beauty of it, one may see the inner reality, but it is dim and not all that clever. We may be able to relate it to the older mind, the intellection, to understanding and understanding the hidden.
So, the gentleman expresses himself through stillness and stillness. The gentleman acts and pursues his purpose. The gentleman moves with reluctance but with trust.
He carries the Spirit within.
He moves the Spirit within.
This is a wonder!

"The Spirit, manifested in the Collective Whole,
Is the soul of Heaven and Earth."
"The spirit that exists within is the true Self of the universe.
The inner vision of Truth is an illusion.
All things are born from the reproductive breath of Tao.
The feminine breath of Tao.
From the dawn of creation it vanished,
And as a blossoming flower emerges to bloom.
It is but a flower, but it shows us its secret within.
Knowing within this may be the gateway to a higher truth.
Manifesting the intuitive within
Can induce union with the collective organism.
This is the Primal Truth, and reaching it:
Confusion, with obscurity,
Call out, with vision,
Call out, with the primordial mystery.
The Master moves from place to place,
In keeping with the ever-changing world,
In the flowering of the flower.
The Tao Within unfolds.
It blunts and magnifies.
Wearing the light, it attunes and harmonizes.
Wearing the darkness, it blunts and reveals.

Exposure leads to awakening. As for the belief, lack of belief leads to change of mind. The loss of it leads to the return of Tao. The trouble of initiation leads to Tao's charm. Though the flower of life seems to die, the Tao of the universe lives on. Indeed, this being is called "The Mysterious" (the unspoken word); and its house is the Cave of the Mysterious.
<|endoftext|>
When practicing awareness, first some things are illuminated; and when receiving attention, some things are dimmed. This is called the background.
When you are still, some things are born; and when you are awake, some things die. This is called the (apparent) void.
Thus the mystic unfolds itself, to the depth of deep darkness, while the flower of life extends itself to the infinite space.

Hold your breath.Look out for clarity.Darkness is given in order to shine. A veil is pulled down to reveal its self. This is called Mystery. A portal opens to the center of life. The Mother of all things depends on this.

When you make a scene, let the light show. When you hear your breath, hear the silence. When your heart is at rest, let go of worries. When the presence of your Tao opens your heart to the world,It lets go of fears. The mystic illumination of the luminous Gateway opens the door of heart. This is the secret of Being. The gate of the heart is the gateway of the Dao.The flower of the heart opens the gateway of Dao.Hence, deep mystery. It is the deep and the light.

When a Taoist is traveling, he should watch for the hidden virtue in the road.
This is the DEBOUNDANCE of the Tao.
It is the DAIMOND DEGREE that is the mother of DEBOUNDANCE.
Without DEBOUNDANCE, DEBOUNDANCE is undefiled.
Without DEBOUNDANCE, DEBOUNDANCE is self-knowledgeable.
Without DEBOUNDANCE, DEBOUNDANCE is self-taken.
Without self-taken, DEBOUNDANCE vanishes.
Without DEBOUNDANCE, DEBOUNDANCE is not overgrown.
The DEBOUNDANCE-vein of the road is forever opening and abiding.
It is the valley where the DEBOUNDANCE manifests.
There is a being hidden, hidden, hidden.
That being is infinite and endless.
Since it has no beginning, it is beyond being.

One who wishes to get as many tao teachings as possible should travel the whole body.
He should look at it all in totality.
He should keep it all in mind.
A being of emptiness is infinite, so one is able to understand the source.
An unknown being is only self-knowledgeable.
An unknowing being, on the other hand, gives birth to desolation.
That's why the dark clay-root emerges from a space which had an actual clay-root.
For understanding this, one must know self-knowledge.
To let oneself be frightened by being here and now is to lose the clarity of self-knowledge.
This is why even the bright enlightenment offers the easiest darkness.

The ancient streams -The rivers and riversongs -Are but as a background for the mind. The mind is only the beginning, and the mind-edge is the noblest.Through the valley of the rivers and streams, The Sage keeps the spirit and the subtle essence of the Cosmic Laws. When the mind is empty, the Tao is always manifest. In dusky light, the image resides. In darkness, it remains, and the mystery is illuminated. I alone am the image. I alone am the uncarved block.

In the dark, the sage's voice is the open source,

Things cannot endure for long. Therefore Heaven and Earth cannot last long. Therefore I must succeed in becoming like the universe.Being like the universe means 'not prejudiced against violence and disorder' in the true way of Nature.Through simplicity, one can see that it is possible to be infinite, that [a whole] of nature is infinite.Having the Tao of the universe, one learns the purpose of being. By understanding purpose, one is not willfully ignorant of its purpose. What I know is not a single illusion. What I see is not mere brightness.

Endless things cannot be preserved for long. Therefore the spirits and the Heaven and the Earth cannot last for long. Therefore,I must act just like the Tao (Genuine Action). To act just like the Tao means that I do not commit violence, that I do not oppose Nature, and that I am open to all around me.And to act just like the Tao means that I am good at ruling things, doing the right things and attending to all things.I have a sequence of tao, but if I look inside I see it's not beautiful.

No end can be wrought in man's natural decline,
Yet Heaven and Earth depend upon him for long continuance.
For, the same may be said of one who does the work of Heaven and Earth,
For in him, one is always ready,
If possible, to see what is desirous;
For if he sees what is desirous,
There is always time enough to give vent to it;
And if he gives vent to it,
There will be sufficient time to complete it,
And if he completes it,
He will leave it in a state of peace that may be likened to the Tao.
And in making his time for eternity,
He is ready, wherever he may be, to begin again.
And, in the Tao-learning,
The unfolding of the Unity,
Is not vain, nor is it made to be.
One who makes his learning of the Unity,
Is a man who seeks but does not hold a fixed mind;
Is a man who wants only what is truly wantonly;
Is a man who holds firmly to what is known.
One who can achieve what is done,
Is manly.

When you live in harmonious compassionYou never lose sight of how far all things come from you.
Like the way the sky works: up and down, around and around.
As great as the valley is:
There's nothing better at letting you see:
Colours as vivid as snowflakes;
Lighted by the great gates of heaven:
Everything's bright, Everything is bright, Everything is bright.

When you are compassionate toward all things and contemplate their origin, You find that they are fully real.
All things are born of the Great Mother.
Her manifestations emerge in the daytime, then disappear at night.
Like a sweet bubble, the light is constantly flowing.
All things come from the Tao.
All things come from the Tao.
The Tao is limitless and constant.

Like great rivers or muddy valleys, great stones are great. They appear out of nowhere, and disappear out of sight. Great darkness appears without being dark. A great river's channel is great. The valleys that drain it are deep. It's depth is deep in it's own right, or its direction can be dark. It's darkness is the entrance to the depth of deepness. Thus when we rely on our faith we can be confident.

The practitioner of the highest virtue has the ability to act spontaneously. Because he does not control himself and has no attachments, he becomes supreme. The practitioner of the highest virtue acts without intention, yet he remains totally free. When affairs come up against nature and conflict with each other, he does not retort or threaten or make any effort to stop the conflicts. He, too, does not assert himself or act as an example. He is a remote presence, yet a force of force in the world. When conflicts arise, the practitioner can be at their head, or he can be on the back, which is to say behind. This role is close to being hidden. As one stays still, its effects are like gravity. As one emerges and functions, the effects are like motion. All things spring up and move on their own, but the importance of one is in taking care of one. This is the ultimate Mystery of the Tao.

The Great Tao is constant.
It is pure, its ultimate nature untainted.
The outer world can penetrate it, but cannot see it.
Its beauty (Way) can be seen through (the primary)
untrusting efforts.
Yet, as Tao is always present,
It always can be overcome by no exertion.
The Inner world can penetrate it, and is aware of it.
That inner awareness of Tao brings the common sense of clarity.
Yet Tao is always present, always is present.
So it can be treated as immeasurable.
The Inner world can penetrate it, and is aware of it.
That awareness of Inner awareness brings the great subtlety of things.

This valley cleanseth itself of all dirtyness and gives clarity to the way.

When no name is to be used, the female of the universe supplies the spirit which then comes to be without ego. When the spirit has no ego, it appears to be a living thing. It has breathing, and it can speak. It has its dust and dirt, and yet it appears to be unassuming. It is most beautiful and important, and yet it hardly can be compared with what we ordinarily call beauty and importance. It has no relation to our common core, which is the Tao.Therefore the Dao is such that there are no secrets to reveal. It may be called the empty shell. It may be called the mud in which there is the Spirit.

When the sacred feminine is relegated to oblivion and all manifestations of humanity are lost, the female spirit of life will be released.Humanity will have been made receptive and inspired through the feminine, whose sacrificial qualities originated in the earth. The ultimate goal of humanity is the DAO. It cannot be reduced to a form.
Pure Tao is eternal and without name.
To know Tao is to know my Source.
Tao is the Grand Origin,
the mother of all things and things' offspring.
To comprehend Tao is to be like the mother of all things,
and hence to be one with the Way.
What is beyond description can be named.
What is hard to define can be made to form a rule.
The whole of creation is but one fundamental block,
the mother of all things.
To know one's Source, is to be the Source of the World.
To define one's existence, is to be a part of the World.
The outer manifestations of Nature are the collective mechanism of creation.
Nature is Tao.
No Tao is possible.
No being can be: therefore nature is nature.

The valley spirit never dies Because it lives in the valley spirit The way of the valley spirit is unchangeable It's called the female The way of the valley spirit is the origin of heaven and earth To know the valley spirit is to know the mystery If you want to see the essence of heaven and earth, you must know the valley spirit Without mystery there can be no presence The essence of heaven and earth is one thing It's called the essence of the valley spirit
The white winter sky is like an inflow in a stream, blunting the sun. The valley spirit keeps to the light. The ancient dao keeps to its image. What is hard to understand can be defined by the Tao. What is full of confusion may be clarified by an analogy. What exists in the infinity of things is nothing but the material that comes to life. How mysteriously it all seems to exist is because it exists, in the form of the substance that comes to life. And, without knowing it, the Tao is illuminating you and giving you knowledge.

The valleys that divide the world do not bend or rustle, though they become the sweet supplies of the world. This is the soft spoken valley spirit: The feminine force that nourishes all things, the valley spirit permeates the spirit within. As the valley spirit supplies the feminine of life, so the spirit of all beings that grasps the way

The Sage never drinks anything,For if he did, he would be extremely filled with the thingHe doesn't do anything,And only when he's been longWithout doing anything,Will he begin to lose it.Thus, in ritual practiceHe does what is right, and does nothing that is wrong,And in ceremonyHe does what is right, and does nothing that is wrong. The sacred art is not ritual,But the power of art as it is performed
is ritual.
<|endoftext|>
The Te also never uses food,Therefore,Heaven, Earth, and all things will become full when he drinks of them,Because he does not force his will upon them. Therefore,In ritual, he uses what is right,And when he does it, he is not held responsible.Because ritual does not press to force him,He hardly tries to do anything himself.

When the sage imbibes the white tang,
He will have no desire for further consumption.
Therefore, when the body cannot be used for things,
He withdraws it with reluctance;
and, when the body has ceased to be used,
He does not despise it as an
this/that.
When the sacred part of ritual
Is to be complete, it is to be used in means that are not ritual.
<|endoftext|>
The Sage never drinks,
He fills up when he has nothing to drink.
It is that he who withdraws himself from his 'soil,'
From His body,
Is ready to become independent.
The sacred chariot is not a chariot,
it is a 'root.'
When the root is lost,
There is no root again.
Therefore, the sacred, ceremonious rituals
Are not rituals,
They are mere means of life,
When action is used for the purpose of non-action,
The root is in order.

Roses and thorns never perish,
Yet are always found

He who drinks of them, never feels weary of them.

None would regard it as not being fruit

Uncarved wood

it is never use-less.
Likewise,
the valley spirit is

it is like the female.
The unnamed female
can inspire the entire world,
and with only her,
everything is governed.
The uncarved wood

As sound

I hear; the valley

the sky hears

what else can it

Nature does not

everything into existence.
It

it can hold

What

Heaven and earth owe their being to the Female.

In her absence it may not be recognized;
Therefore, She alone remains.
Is it not like a valley deep below the earth?
Cautious yet unseen by man,
I hear, and know,
the shadowy noise of her valley!
What is in it veiled,
is not known!
"She" flows back again.
"She" is the Ever.
Deep beneath the earth
She stands firm.
Deep beneath the earth,
This valley still stands.
That is the opening of the mystic path.

The Tao and the world are one, and eternal. The Tao is like a valley of nature. People have the natural way, yet cannot see it. It is the hidden essence, the pure mirror of the universe. If the universe were fully known, it would not endure. When the world is understood, it means that you can learn more about the universe. When you learn more, you realize that the universe is so many things and that you can have so many things.
<|endoftext|>
The essence of Nature is like a riverbed in which all things flow. All people come into it and it invites them and brings them into it. And yet none can see it, it is invisible. Still, without knowing it, all people have ideas about it, that is why it is still in a state of mystery. Nature seems so huge: deep and still and inexhaustible, It is like a valley below the earth and the source of all things.I can see it, for when I see it it seems to have an opacity. The Tao is too small to see it. The Tao seems to be something else. A doorway of the dark. A valley of the dark. It is the light that reveals it. You need to understand the light to

THE Way of the Mind is nameless, subtle, unassuming, going forward without stopping. It is indefinable, subtle, subtle, intangible, intangible, intangible, intangible, unnamable, unknowable.Such is the mystery of the Cosmic Mystery, in all directions and times. All desire for being, wishing or doing ends in passion and war. Love, adoration and gratitude disappear and only desire and desireness reign. What we seek to be and what we do to become are, in turn, mysteries of the same Mystery. This subtle awareness, which does not delight in knowing anything, is called the secret of the Way.All the works of the universe follow this, and all the forms of life are produced out of it.It goes on, as well as before,It may be called the virtue that never ends.Just like the ever-present for one who does not interfere, to be at one with the absolute.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is hidden and mysterious, just like an undefinable source. It is the unchanging source of all shapes and differences, so penetrating and penetrating that no one is able to name it, nor can I. It has no name, for when one names something, it's always in conflict with itself. Love, lust and greed are the rules of the universe. Even the slightest act of creation is conditioned by a rule or impulse of its own accord. Everything exists with a purpose, with every event comes growth, as a further process of growth and growth, - its own beginning.
<|endoftext|>
The Way is nameless, mysterious, beyond labeling. It returns to its source and is forever without end. Yet it never changes, continuously remaining mysteriously unchanged. Everything that has any semblance of being exists out of its own nature; hence it is always changing and never changing again.

The One within the One could be described as being elusive; yet it cannot be approached; it is the Constant. Without thought, without intention, it goes on and on and on. To love something, one has to be by it. To love a thing, one must have given birth to it. To love both is a dao (divine power). One who has dao in his hands never rejects it. He returns (k'ung) to the Tao (natural course of things). He sees the valley (nature) and from thence the earth. He sees the valley (nature) and the heights of the dao (divine power). He sees it (the dao) and will not want to stop. He will (k'ung) to go on beyond the valley (nature) and till the earth. He keeps the Tao (natural course of things) and will be above reproach. Therefore the Grand Duke of Wu knows all dao (divine power), yet he does not desire to reside on that Tao (natural course of things). For he is capable of abiding, through the Tao (natural course of things), without being embarrassed. Although his person may be distinguished by his rank, his person is without the distinction. Therefore he may claim (the Grand Duke of Wu) to be one without being distinguished.
<|endoftext|>
One who loves a thing should really love it. A thing should be real to one who loves a thing. One who loves a thing without love will die. Love for a thing is not a saving. Without loving it, you will go away. When one loves the natural process, which in the long run comes to him again and again, But he does not desire to go on to the world, If he did not desire to go on to the world, He could not expect longevity. Therefore he keeps alive the permanent (generalizing) creation by the constant process. He does not desire to turn it from its course. He is able to endure long and may achieve his task, though he may be greatly disgraced. Those who long in the world have something in common with the unpretentious man. But when they want to be leaders of the world, they do not presume to be leaders of the world.

Returning is the Tao of Heaven and Earth. If men were not ever to strive for return, Heaven and Earth would not last long. Therefore Heaven and Earth uses returning always. The grass roots, the canyon streams, the valleys and the hills all teem with its life force. A traveler on the road in a valley has many senses, from his ears to his eyes to his belly. Yet he does not possess all these. He exists because all are dependant upon him. If he is not dependent upon others, they will always be in love with him.
<|endoftext|>
A return is all that men ought to do in this world. If men do not return, Heaven and Earth are soon destroyed. Thus:Man does his best for himself. He does his utmost to save the Earth. The man that does his best for himself is the supreme model for all men.He does his utmost for the earth and heaven, because he has no other motive to do so.He tries to save the Earth and Heaven, but in the end he meets with no end to it.He is so able because he has no motive to save himself.Because he does not save himself, others will do the same for him. Therefore, for the benefit of the people, Heaven and Earth preserve that which is natural to them; so that only man, having his own self-interest and doing it himself, can make the wise use of it.

Heaven and Earth, though continually perpetuated, have no desire to endure. They serve merely to provide supply to the endless desert.

The Tao's Limitless Te is what is most profound,
For even the most profound and difficult things
Remain in themselves.
<|endoftext|>
Wu says:Heaven and Earth's female spirit is called "the valley spirit."It is the Mystic Spirit of Heaven and Earth. Can you understand it?
The Tao that can be spoken or described is not an ultimate Truth.
The unlimited Tao is the mystery of nature,
and the ultimate nature is the origin of the universe.
To know the mystery of the universe is to know the beginning of Tao.
To comprehend the universe in its universal beginning is to know the essence of reality.
To comprehend the universe in its own single point of origin is to understand the source of all reality.
To know the origin of the universe is to know the origin of Tao.
To know the origin of Tao is to know eternal mystery.
The highest Virtue and the lowest Form Are in reality the same.
To know the single path is to know the secret of life.
To understand the hidden in the common is to have a sufficient knowledge.
To hold fast to Tao is to be a spring of all enlightenment.
To learn the Tao of the universe Is the fullest Hope of the universe.
To know the nature of Tao is to be one with the Way.
This is called the "ultimate mystery," the Mystery of All Things.
He who is wise in all realities may make his mind strong enough to grasp the Mystery;
And he who is wise in the supernatant essence of reality may be able to perceive its solidarity;
And he who is wise in the standard of the universal noumenal essence may be able to show its progression in duration.
He who knows the single path to enlightenment is one with Tao.
He who knows Tao as his own essential truth is one with All-under-heaven.
Knowing the Unspeakable is the great essence of being in him.
Knowing the nameless is the origin of Being.
Knowing the Infinite and the Inward, may be called one with the Principle.
He who is the Principle, may be called the Child of the Universe.
Knowing the Primal Principle is the only true Way.
Knowing the Principle and the Principle, can be called the Mystic Way.
Hence he who knows the Principle and the Principle, is the Principle of the Universe.
He who knows the

A full maturity of it,
It is like an infant.
Then it loses all it has known,
Borrows itself of its own accord,
Like the infant that has yet to recognize it's relationship to the world.
From then on, the subtle aspect of Tao takes on the shape of air and clouds,
Yet it is forever present and hidden.
It is like a sullied image and yet it is always present.
It seems to arise from something but it is always existing.
Its mystery is like the great Tao.
The followers of the great Tao believe only in Tao.
They hold nothing as sacred,
And consequently no one can coerce them.
They roll up their sleeves and fight;
They shout until they are deaf.
If you've been conditioned to view Tao as a string of teh
you look at it as an old enough mirror.
You look at it and find it rather cloudy.
That's because you need more time to look at it.
You need more experience to see it clearly.
You need to let it mature, like the sound of teh!
That's where it gets its sound.
Back to main.
Back to the beginning,
Front to the front.
What is beneath heaven?
That's teh.
What is above heaven?
That's yi.
Open mouth, open gut,
Empty storage,
Empty of color,
Empty of sound.
Everything happens.
It's neither here nor now.
Let go of it,
Break it.
We get from everything to a beginning.
From Tao to Heaven.
To Heaven to the Tao is like water rising and setting.
Be aware of water, then open water, then empty water.
Be aware of Tao, then open Tao, then empty Tao.
Attain wisdom by remembering to allow.
Lose wisdom by forgetting to take.
Tao comes from above, heaven comes from below, the sky comes from below, the water comes from below.
It's stilled by letting go.
By knowing what comes from above, it's true:
That is how the Tao is (and always was):
How it can never be despaired of:
Like the air about to quake
And open its mouth
As if I'm beginning to laugh
This is Tao's secret.
Back to the old and to the start.
To the very beginnings

It is like having no home.
There is a spirit of 'orphan', a selfless 'orphan'.
So it is
The mind of a traveller
That seems lonely and unprovided,
But the root of heaven and earth.
The Tao of the Old Masters was indeed deep and vast,
But for a common people this may be considered the empty shell of Tao,
And the behaviour of many ordinary people, who desire novelty and excitement,
can perhaps be labeled as shallow or foolish.
Therefore the Great Master said:
The great art is not by itself a work of art
Its passing through use is the beginning of the work.

"The mountain valley" is an image without name, whose effulgence is inward and eternal, dim, dim, eternal.
It appears only as the Jen, dim, dim, eternal.
Thus the mother of heaven and earth may be called the Jen-litt.
The door of the Jen-litt is the root of the earth, the inward and eternal can be regarded as the valley spirit.
It may be called the profound-young woman of Tao.
The awareness of the valley spirit may be called the Valley's clue.
Travellers will remember the valley spirit to the point of wonder, but it is not the valley itself.
It is the profound-young woman of Tao whose depth of knowledge is quite deep.
<|endoftext|>
The Great Valley Tao (The Tao of the Valley Tao), which never becomes a ruler, can be called the everlasting "Abominable Name"; and the subtle and mysterious essence (the Ancestor Valley-Tao), which no one ever recognizes, can be called the "wicked white."
Who but the One can know the "Abominable Name"? Who but the Mysterious essence (the "Vale-Teh") can understand the "Wicked white"?
Travelling all men may deem the Valley Tao as the limitless path, and all may call it the sweet Valley. Yet in both these names we may recognize the innocent Valley: and when we are conscious of the valley, we may call it the "sweet Valley."
Because we are like the Valley (Spirit) which ever keeps its indefinable eternal whiteness, we shall see plainly that it is the Indivisible whole.

The ancient names are inexhaustible.

No matter how strong your application,
The endless manifestation never ceases.
This is why the nobleman
Can abide by the manifestations without ceasing,
Whereby the clear light never departs.
This is why the foremost scholar
Can remain with the manifestations for long,
And know that he abides.
He may never lose sight of himself.

The True Person is tao, the Mother of all beings. Taos are primordial, they cannot be confused.
The infinity of their power is inexhaustible.
There is nothing I can use to further their development.
But to use this Unity to expand it:
What is existing must begin with simplicity.
Progressing, until it becomes everlasting.
To use this Unity means to assume a dynamic role.
If one does so, something new will appear.
How is it? Because all things come from it.
If they didn't, what is it?
Itself it would vanish.

In antiquity, the wise of the Way, being like Mother Nature (the feminine in origin), 'Deep and
widest, All-creating, silent and unfathomable, always and forever showing no signs of being exhausted, yet everyone on earth says they are content, not because of their usefulness to anyone, but because they are powerful, possessed of constant and inexhaustible energy, and from this all existence sprang.
When you become a part of it you may be confused.
You may be: hidden and unknown;
uncharted and obtained.
It's this un-submissive behaviour that makes you a Sage.
'
One who takes great possession (of the Way) can be in great Possibility: they can always be on top of the world, in perpetual control.
They have eternal power, inexhaustible and unchanging.
They are like the Feminine in that they remain, with their Infinity and essence, without mutation.
They become invisible to the senses, but exist, because they become known, the consciousness of their original being continues to exist.
<|endoftext|>
The Tao of antiquity was the mother of all beings. This thing was nameless and completely incomprehensible, it never existed but existed in that which existed. The Highest Power was that by which it became known.

The Way of Tao is without name and infinite. It permeates everything with its soft, and peaceful radiance. It fills everything with the love of life and the fear of death. It gently enlivens all things and elevates them to the brightness of morning and the darkness of night.Whoever understands this can never be left behind. The way that guides the world will surely be with him, no matter where he travels. He can travel forever. If Tao alone is the rule, then the World is most likely to follow. The Tao will never forsake him.The well-developed soul serves as a carrier of the Tao, it cannot be separated from the Tao. The universal Tao is eternal, and the body is forever.
<|endoftext|>
The Way of Tao can't be written down. Though there is no topographic range, it passes through the whole, it gently and peaceably. It can make even the deepest places luminous.Though it can never separate from the things that make up the cosmos, and all things that reside in the cosmos, it seeks to remain indifferent to them. What makes it such an observer is that it does not reside in its own body, no matter how tired or empty it becomes. The essential source of its luminosity lies in its compassion.Through its compassion, the Way is able to help all creatures that inhabit the universe.
<|endoftext|>
The highest Way is beyond name, subtle, immortal. Within it there is the void, And nowhere to stop. Light penetrates everywhere in all directions.
As it shines, all are warm. Love suffuses the whole world.
Things and things change and then disappear, And hence, all of what makes up the world Is still and alert.
In the presence of an intuitive observer, The Way guides and assists.
In each decision, all are resolved.
When others can find peace and calm,They are the ones who benefit most from all this.
That is why a leader: Never to try to control.
Every thing rests upon the natural provision of the Tao.

It will never cease.
It is the Principle of the universe.
It is the very beginning of heaven and earth.
The son of the root and the mother,
It is the uncarved wood.
(One does not know its beginning.)
The ten thousand things follow it,
But there is no root to guide them.
Therefore it is said:
"They cannot know it, but it is it"
It is called the uncarved bark.
The un-shapen cord
Is called the jade.
Is the door.
The truly great stands before the world
Without attempting to master it.
In this way it is the root of the world,
The gateway to all things.
(Likewise)
The truly great never seeks to master,
So it becomes the great among greats.
When the great is alone
It has no place to dwell.
This is called the jade-flower.
The uncarved block
Came before it became the pattern.
It is the origin of the universe.
Yet we can't perceive it,
We can only use it.
It is the thread that unites the world.
There is no beginning;
there is an end.
Abiding within it,
We may follow the rivers and oceans,
As the spirit of the earth permeates them.
This is the lien of Tao.
Tao within the Tao,
Abiding within the Tao.
The immortal Tao is immortal, and eternal,
Tao ever eternal.
The everlasting life within Tao is called the tapestry.
The ancient Tao is called the uncarved block.
The ancient vessel is called the jade.
The ancient door is called the knot of chaos.
The ancient Tao is the beginning of all things.
From this comes the designation of teh.
The Tao in teh has no beginning,
It is the beginning of the universe.
It is the substance that is the root of the universe.
It is the root of Heaven and Earth.
Because it is without a beginning, it can be used without effort.
It is the Tao that leads from the nothing to the great.
This is called teh-truth.
The eternal Tao, the universal thread that carries the Tao to the ultimate source, the source of all things, is hidden within itself.
It is called the Tao of Infinity.

The second birth

The first birth.

They hear of it and say they know; But they don't touch it. It is beyond their knowledge. In this way they call the white-furred ox the female. It is beneath the earth. It walks, but it leaves no tracks. In its labyrinths there is no door. From the white-furred ox unto the female square is said to come forth. And the female square to the white-furred ox. The white-furred ox and the female square together; The white-furred ox and the female square before it; The female square before it, in darkness. From the darkness arise the things, who by their brightness. From the things arise the voices; Who by their brightness proclaim the malehood. He who knows the white-furred ox, He knows the female square. The things, who are beyond names, Rear. By the brightness the dark are brightened, And the black and the white are blurred. The tao of the beginning is not great. It is not to be master of things.
<|endoftext|>
There is silence, and the sight of it not comprehended, and the following acknowledgment [what I speak of] will follow.
The white-furred ox travels like a torrent through the earth, and returns empty-handed. It wanders between the four quarters; it sits at rest without a mark, yet leaves no track. It is the female aspect, though, that moves like a female [heaven]. It rolls like a riven cart. It rolls without a hub. It rolls and rolls without a place to rest. It rolls without a model. It rolls and rolls without space to rest. The rivers without corners, there is the unnamed valley. Its form is vague and obscure, yet somehow ends with the thing. A voice without a name, its name is its condition, its eternity.
<|endoftext|>
There is a silence in which we say, only the hearsay. Though we know the form of an extinct animal, we can not understand its nature,
for a female - the upper-tier earth-brood raising her children in subterrene, rooting beneath the earth.
She travels, her life as a female always without a name,
yet is in her sequence of life beyond reckoning,
enfolding the

It is like a vase of images.
A mysterious image.
What is called "artificial" by man!
What appears to exist.
Existence of that.
The unnamed.
In the unnamed.
Next.
Eternally.
A gateway to eternity.
How can a woman live at all?
She must be a vessel of
abundance.
A door to all.
What seems to be a vessel must have
a form.
What appears to be a form
must have a reality.
What is undeceased
Must be a root.
When a valley is emptied,
It can be used
As the valley spirit.
How can it be used
As a vessel of life?
She must not live.
Empty it and it can be
Used as a male.
Empty it and it can be
Used as the female.
It can be used
As Tao.
Tao is limitless.
It is beyond time and space
And cannot be named.
The Everlasting First Coming
Is the image of the unnamed!
The evasive and unauthentic!
The ancestor of everything!
The ancient secret of TAO!
Beyond the end of time!
How do I know it is true?
By Tao.
It is Tao!

Tao is eternal, but there is no name
to it. It is like a big river that flows back and forth. It is like all things without exception and without exception without exception. If I use it as Tao, I get what I have ever been. If I keep it to be no-one else, I get no need for anything. Tao is empty beyond description. It cannot be named.
It is like the room that contains all living things and their artifacts. It is a marvelous treasure within a treasure.
There is no substitute for the Tao.
Those who use the Tao are over by it. They live in it, but do not own it. They are infinite, but they are empty of it. Tao is unknowable, unattainable. It may be the key to the universe. It may be a way to eternal life.
Whatever things we take as nothing,
The Tao is as I take it and other men take them.
<|endoftext|>
Existence depends on nothingness;
There is nothingness.
The Infinite is empty.

Un-enlightened people are ignorant
And will fall into the valley spirit.
That is why:
One may only go to the original
And return home to a new beginning.
<|endoftext|>
The people of the world worship only this form of female:
The Yung-hsiang has no ancestor and is the Spirit of the Universe.
The Way does not permit a thing to be born.
People give up in the end of a lifetime,
And develop in the yearning for it.
Achieving it not, they lose the spirit of them.
Aimlessly going and not arriving at the goal,
One makes himself a fool and ends up here.
One who does not practice this may not attain his purpose,
So the Tao can guide him to his goal.
<|endoftext|>
The great people all honor the Dao,
The Dao is Dao.
The ancestor has no soul.
The spirit does not die.
Truly it has no name.
Even after it dies,
Is not mentioned again!
When one has achieved it,
One has to leave it.
When one has achieved it,
One has to leave.
When one has achieved it,
One has to leave.
When one has achieved it,
One has to leave.
When one has achieved it,
One has to leave.
When one has achieved it,
One has to leave.
When one has achieved it
One has to leave.
When one has achieved it
One has to leave.
The sage follows Tao and lives a simple life.
She doesn't use tao to govern her life.
<|endoftext|>
The great people all honor the DE in DE. The DE has DE.
The ancestor has no soul. The spirit does not die.
The DAO is non-existent.
Therefore it is Empty. "Yield" and return.
"Follow" and discard.
Not achieving. "Leave."
Obscure intention. "Deus ex machina."
So Tao can guide you
and guide you return to Dao.
<|endoftext|>
The great people all know the Virtuous, the Virtuous, the Complete.
The ancient Law has no limitations. It is able to provide fulfillment to all things

The subtle power of Heaven and Earth
Has been depleted.
A white cloth or garment
Is still full of lustre.
Empty it.
Then retire.
The Spirit of the valley
Is genuine and unadulterated.
It may be called The Spiritual Mother.
The mystic female
Is the door of all mystery and the path to everlasting life.
This book can be acted upon without its instrument.
In following it, be aware of your core,
Be aware of the root,
And accept all life as part of the integral Whole.
In the midst of old and new,
Approaches, flows and blends
Never exhausts itself.
<|endoftext|>
The valley spirit is not nameless, as the Mysterious Female, Which is its hidden fulfillment. It empties its nature, and dies as a great white feather. It renews itself from within, and lives in the stream of eternity. How strange and profound is her eternal function! Its nature is nameless! It may be called the secret Female.
The opening of the Mystery Female Are called the fore-runner of heaven and earth. It is like a cord that runs with the wind, Its highest Te leaves no hold on it, It is inexhaustible.
<|endoftext|>
The female spirit is an unchanging power, Which has no name, Is by no circumstance nebulous.Unfettered, it is like the valley-storm. Reserved, it is like a wind-storm.Open, it is like the nighttime sky.Closing, it is like the opening of a cave.Deepened, it is like the dwelling of the mystic spirit. This is the source of all mystic power. To govern with this power
Is not without sacrifice. In contemplating the source
Is one's path of initiation.
<|endoftext|>
The sagacity, the all-embracing Female, she is the hidden one. Its function is hidden: This is her hidden. Its function is hidden: Like the valley-storm, it lasts long and doesn't relent. Unfettered, it stretches its limit. Limited, it stretches its bounds. Loud, it lasts for all time. Compelled, it exposits the simplicity of its act. Thus it manifests both in ancient and modern times. He who acts with her knows deep deep truths, And in that way he expresses himself with deepest and deepest devotion.
